He escorted her to their bedroom and gently set her down.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, I'll go wash my hands and come back."
He nodded in agreement.
Viyansh: "Come soon, I have something for you."
Vaidehi: "What is it?"
She inquired eagerly, and he responded with a smile.
Viyansh: "You go first."
She nodded and proceeded to the bathroom to wash her hands. Upon returning to the dressing table, she began to remove her makeup and jewelry. As she carefully took off her earrings, Viyansh approached from behind and wrapped his arms around her, eliciting a smile from her. Her smile widened as she leaned back into his embrace, feeling the comforting familiarity of his touch.
Vaidehi: "Bataiye kya laye hai." (Tell me what you've got.)
Viyansh: "Khud dekh lo." (See it for yourself.)
She glanced at him through the mirror, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion. Just as she was about to turn, she felt something cold against her waist. She glanced down and noticed that Viyansh was adorning her with a waist chain, a gentle smile gracing her lips at the unexpected gesture. He turned her towards him, gracefully knelt down, and delicately fastened the thin gold waist chain around her waist. As he secured it in place, he couldn't resist planting a soft kiss on her navel, gently pushing aside her dupatta to reveal the subtle curve. The unexpected intimacy ignited a flurry of butterflies in her stomach, painting her cheeks a vivid shade of crimson. Upon rising to his feet, Viyansh met her gaze and found her lost in the moment, her eyes closed in bliss, a soft smile playing on her lips, and her hands resting gently on his shoulders. Overwhelmed by the sight of her radiant joy, he drew her closer by her waist, his touch sending shivers down her spine. Drawing her closer by her waist, he leaned in and whispered softly into her ear.
Viyansh: "Now, this looks perfect."
As he gently nibbled on her earlobe, she couldn't help but tighten her grip on his shoulder, the sensation sending a jolt of excitement through her. With each breath, he drank in her intoxicating fragrance, his senses overwhelmed by her presence.
His hand, once resting on her bare waist, ventured to the small of her back, tracing delicate patterns that sent shivers dancing along her spine. Her breath grew uneven, a familiar response whenever he drew near, igniting a shy vulnerability within her. Despite this, she found herself unable to resist his touch, succumbing to the enchanting effect he had on her. Similarly, he too found his senses dulled by her proximity, utterly captivated by the intoxicating allure of her presence.
Pressing her gently against the nearest wall, he began a tantalizing journey of kisses, starting from her ears and tracing a path along her jawline, down to her chin, and finally lingering at the corner of her lips. Overwhelmed by desire, she couldn't resist any longer and pressed her lips firmly against his. In an instant, a wave of passion surged between them as they kissed each other with a fervent intensity. Their lips melded together in a passionate dance, each movement filled with longing and longing, as they explored every corner of each other's mouths with an insatiable hunger. Their kisses deepened, becoming more urgent and fervent, as they sucked on each other's lips, savoring the taste and texture of their beloved. In this moment of pure bliss, time seemed to stand still as they were consumed by the heat of their desire, their hearts beating as one.
Her hand traced a path from his shoulder, venturing beneath his shirt where the top buttons lay open. Fueled by desire, her touch explored the contours of his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath her fingertips.
As their passion intensified, she found herself becoming breathless, the heat of their embrace overwhelming her senses. With a gentle tap on his shoulder, she signaled her need for a moment to catch her breath. Lost in the intensity of the kiss, he found himself unable to pull away, his senses consumed by the passion coursing between them. Ignoring her initial tap on his shoulder, he continued to savor the sweetness of her lips, unable to resist the allure of their connection.
But as her taps became more insistent, he gradually began to regain his awareness, the urgency of her touch breaking through the haze of desire. With a reluctant sigh, he reluctantly pulled back, his chest heaving as he struggled to catch his breath.
Despite the distance between them, their lips still brushed against each other, a lingering reminder of the passion they had shared. Breathing heavily, they locked eyes, their gazes filled with love and passion.|
Viyansh: "I'm just addicted to your lips, Jaan."
Both of their eyes were closed, immersed in the moment, and they could hear the rhythm of each other's heartbeat, synchronizing in the intimate space between them.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, your lips are tickling mine."
He looked at her in astonishment, but soon a burst of laughter escaped his lips.
Vaidehi: "What??"
Viyansh: "What did you just say, biwi? You must be the only one to say such a thing."
Vaidehi: "It's not my fault, Ansh. I feel ticklish on every inch of my body."
He once again wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
Viyansh: "Then let me test that out for myself."
She averted her gaze, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks, unable to meet his intense eyes.
Vaidehi: "Ansh..."
He leaned in and planted a tender kiss on her forehead, his lips conveying a depth of affection that words could never fully express.
Amused by the growling sound emanating from her stomach, she pouted and glanced at him, while he couldn't help but giggle at the unexpected interruption.
Viyansh: "Go and change, then we'll prepare Maggie."
Soon, both of them changed into more comfortable attire and made their way to the kitchen. Viyansh was busy taking out vegetables from the fridge while Vaidehi followed closely behind him.
Viyansh: "Jaan ek jagah baith kyu nahi jati tum??" (Jaan, why don't you just sit down)
Vaidehi: "Main help Karu aapki?" (Should I help you)
Viyansh: "No, I'll make my special Maggie for you. You just sit back and enjoy."
Vaidehi's POV,
He lifted me effortlessly, his hand firm yet gentle around my waist, and settled me onto the kitchen counter. I chuckled at his familiar gesture, teasingly referring to his ongoing fascination with my waist. I couldn't help but admit, even as I teased him, that I too harbored my own obsessions, particularly with my husband's broad, muscular back. Ishhh My own thoughts had the power to make me blush uncontrollably. I glanced over at Ansh and saw him chopping vegetables. Wait, what? He's preparing bell peppers and broccoli for Maggie?
Vaidehi: "Ansh, are you serious? Broccoli in Maggie?"
Viyansh: "You will love it, jaan. Just have some patience."
Vaidehi: "Ansh, Maggie ke sath mazak mat kijiye mujhe ye veggies nahi pasand." (please don't joke around with Maggie, I don't like these veggies.)
Viyansh: "If you don't like it, I'll do anything you ask."
Vaidehi: "Let's see."
Viyansh: "And what if you do like it?"
Vaidehi: "Then I'll do anything you ask."
He leaned in closer, gently tapping her nose, and teasingly asked.
Viyansh: "Are you sure, biwi?"
Vaidehi: "Yeah."
Viyansh: "Okay, then be ready."
I got confused about what he could ask for. Nevertheless, it didn't matter much because I knew I wasn't going to like this stupid veggie Maggie anyway. So, I should think of something I can ask My Man to do. "Uff, 'My Man' sounds so good, doesn't it?" He snapped his fingers in front of me, bringing me back from my own imaginary world.
Viyansh: "Kaha kho Gaya Mera bachcha??" (Where did my baby is lost)
God, why does he call me that? I thought to myself. Every time he calls me that, my cheeks turn pink. I mused, noticing the telltale blush spreading across my face. He chuckled at my reaction, only making me blush harder.
Vaidehi: "Kahi nahi." (Nowhere)
I spotted the Maggie masala packet and reached for it.
Author's POV,
As Vaidehi dipped her fingers into the Maggie masala packet and began licking it, Viyansh watched in disbelief.
Viyansh: "Aee, what are you doing, biwi?"
Vaidehi: "Ansh, this masala is even tastier than the Maggie itself. Want to try?"
Viyansh: "Stop it."
Vaidehi: "Offo Ansh aap bhi taste kijiye ye lijiye." (Oh come on, Ansh, just taste it.)
She extended her hand towards him, offering a taste, and he slowly licked the masala off her fingers, his gaze locked with hers. A blush spread across her cheeks as she pulled her hand back, feeling a flutter of excitement at his intimate gesture.
But her playful antics took a turn when the masala got stuck in her throat, causing her to cough uncontrollably. Viyansh immediately rushed to her side, rubbing her back soothingly and offering her water.
Viyansh: " Mana kiya tha na Sunti nahi ho tum Jaan." (I told you not to do it, Jaan. You never listen.)
He was gently rubbing her back as she drank water from his hands, feeling relieved by the cooling sensation.
Viyansh: "Okay now?"
Vaidehi: "Yes, boss."
She gave him a thumbs-up, a mischievous grin spreading across her face, and he chuckled.
Viyansh: "Ye har waqt Masti kaha se sujhti hai tumhe." (Where do you get all this mischief from all the time?)
As he continued adding the Maggie to the cooking pan, he couldn't help but ask.
Vaidehi: "Yaha se Ansh yaha se." (From here, Ansh, from your brain.)
She pointed to her head, indicating her thoughts, and now comfortably seated on the kitchen countertop with her legs folded.
Vaidehi: "You know, I've got a very innovative and creative mind."
Viyansh: "You mean a Shaitaani dimaag?" (mischievous mind?)
Vaidehi: "Anshh."
Vaidehi scolded him teasingly, but Viyansh couldn't help but giggle in response. As he covered the pan with the lid to let the Maggie cook, she pulled him closer, positioning him in front of her as he leaned towards her.
Vaidehi: "Since you're going to lose, you'll gift me ten pairs of Jhumkas. I really love them."
Viyansh: "Yeah, they look good on you."
Vaidehi: "You mean I look good wearing them."
Viyansh: "No, I mean they look good on you because Mera bachcha toh humesha hi Sundar lagta hai na." (my dear always looks beautiful, right?)
Her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue at his sweet words.
Vaidehi: "Ishh Ansh aap kaise har baari mujhe speechless kar dete hai" ( how do you manage to leave me speechless every time?)
He placed his hands on her waist, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Viyansh: "Jaise ye tumhara "ishhh" mujhe pagal bana deta hai." (Just like your 'ishhh' drives me crazy.)
Vaidehi: "Ishhhh."
Viyansh: "Oh, so now you're deliberately teasing me?"
Vaidehi: "Anhh Haan" (Hmm, yes.)
Viyansh: "Youuuu."
He playfully rubbed his nose against hers and nuzzled his cheeks against hers. He playfully rubbed his nose against hers and nuzzled his cheeks against hers.
Vaidehi: "Anshh, aapki dadhi chubhti hai." (Anshh, your beard pricks)
Viyansh: "I told you I'll shave, but you were the one who said I look good with it."
Vaidehi: "I meant a light beard, ye aapko bhaloo banne ki zarurat nahi hai." (you don't need to look like a bear.)
Viyansh: "Biwi tum mujhe bhaloo keh rahi ho?" (Are you calling me a bear?)
Vaidehi: "Jii" (Yes.)
She giggled.
Viyansh: "Ruko tum." (Wait, you.)
He leaned towards her, but she halted him by placing her hand on his chest.
Vaidehi: "Maggie jal jayegi Mr. Romantic." (The Maggie will burn, Mr. Romantic.)
Viyansh: "Well, I like this name more than Ansh."
He leaned closer to her face, their breaths mingling, but she quickly turned his face towards the cooking pan, urging him to focus on the task at hand.
Vaidehi: "No romance, I'm hungry. Give me food."
Viyansh: "As you say, my queen."
She smiled as he served the Maggie onto a plate. Just as she was about to hop down from the kitchen counter, Viyansh stopped her.
Viyansh: "Biwi, wait."
He set the plate aside, then lifted her by her waist and gently placed her back on the ground. Together, they headed towards the dining table.
Vaidehi: "Ansh main khud utar jati, I'm not that clumsy. " (Ansh, I could have gotten down myself)
Viyansh: "You are more than capable of hurting yourself every minute, Jaan. So, be quiet and have your food."
She pouted, licking her lips, but Viyansh leaned in and pecked her lips.
Viyansh: "And don't tempt me to kiss you again."
Her eyes widened, and she pressed her lips together, a playful spark in her eyes. He chuckled, and they settled into their chairs, Viyansh feeding her with his own hands.
Viyansh: "How is it?"
Vaidehi: "Oh god, Ansh, this is amazing. I never knew veggies could taste so good."
Viyansh: "They do. It's just you who throws a tantrum when it comes to eating them."
Vaidehi: "Phir shuru ho gaya health pe gyaan." (Here we go again, back to health advice.)
Vaidehi muttered to herself.
Viyansh: "I heard that."
Vaidehi: "Chaliye jaldi khate h nind bhi aa rhi hai na phir kal jaana bhi hai." (Let's eat quickly, I'm getting sleepy and we have to leave early tomorrow.)
He was feeding both of them, alternating between spoonfuls for himself and for her.
Viyansh: "Kal kaha Jana h??" (Where do we have to go tomorrow?)
Vaidehi: "Oh god Ansh, kal haldi me and then raat me shadi. Haldi me Driver will drop me. But shadi me hum sath jayenge okay?"
(tomorrow is the haldi ceremony, and then the wedding in the evening. For the haldi, Driver will drop me. But for the wedding, we'll go together, okay?)
Viyansh: "Jaise aap kahe, aur koi hukum aapka??" (As you wish. Any other orders,)
Vaidehi: "Umm abhi ke liye itna but baadme dekhenge." (Hmm, for now, that's all. But we'll see later.)
Viyansh: "Achcha ji baadme dekhengi." (Ohh, we'll see later.)
She giggled.
Vaidehi: "BTW Ansh, Aap toh Jeet Gaye toh ab mujhe kya karna hoga??" (you won, what do I have to do now?)
Viyansh: "I'll think about it and let you know. But for now, let's go, it's late and we should sleep."
Vaidehi: "Jii." (OK)
Soon after finishing their dinner and washing the dishes, they headed towards their room. Cuddled up together, they were about to drift off to sleep when Vaidehi suddenly sat back up on the bed.
Vaidehi: "Oh, wait."
Viyansh: "What is it?"
Vaidehi: "Aap ne aapka naam toh dundha hi nahi meri mehendi me." (You didn't even look for your name in my mehendi.)
Viyansh: "That means it's there."
Vaidehi: "Jii, ab dundhiye." (Yes, now look for it.)
She showed him her hands, and he gently took them in his, searching for his name amidst the intricate patterns of her mehendi. After a few minutes of careful examination, he finally found his name written inside a heart near her ring finger: "Viyansh."
Viyansh: "Here it is."
He kissed her hands over his name, and she smiled in satisfaction.
Vaidehi: "Good, now I'm sleepy. Let's sleep."
She lay back down on the bed.
Viyansh: "Waah 2 min ke kaam ke liye uth ke baith gayi thi ab Sona hai waah." (Wow, you sat up just for a two-minute task and now you want to sleep. Impressive.)
He teased her, but she pulled him closer, snuggling into him even more.
Vaidehi: "Shh, let's just sleep."
He chuckled and adjusted himself on the bed, taking her in his arms in a more comfortable position. They drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's warmth, their love guiding them into peaceful slumber.
Next Morning,
Viyansh woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. Stretching his hand out to the side table, he reached for his phone, careful not to disturb his wife who was sleeping soundly beside him, her body draped over his. Seeing the caller ID as Vaidehi's driver, he furrowed his brows in confusion but answered the call nonetheless.
Driver: "Sir, I'm waiting outside the house. Can you please come quickly? It's urgent."
Viyansh: "I'm coming."
Baffled by the unexpected call from Vaidehi's driver, Viyansh sensed urgency in his tone and made a quick decision to go downstairs. Carefully shifting Vaidehi to a more comfortable position on the bed, he then made his way downstairs to where the driver was waiting for him.
Viyansh approached the driver and grew concerned upon noticing injuries on his hand and head.
Viyansh: "Hey Shankar, how did all this happen?"
Driver: "Sir, I met with an accident last night."
Viyansh: "Then why are you here? You should go home and rest."
Driver: "But sir, ma'am..."
Viyansh: "Don't worry about Vaidehi. I'll take care of her. You go home and rest."
Driver: "That's not my concern, Sir. The thing is, my accident happened when I was heading back in ma'am's car, and I realized that the brakes had failed."
Viyansh was shocked and deeply concerned. The idea that if he hadn't gone to pick up Vaidehi last night, she might have been involved in the accident, sent shivers down his spine. The mere contemplation of such a possibility shattered his heart into a million pieces. His reverie was interrupted when Shankar continued speaking.
Driver: "And Sir, I'm really worried about ma'am because the mechanic said that there's a possibility that the brake cables were deliberately cut."
Viyansh was taken aback by the revelation. The idea that someone could harm Vaidehi was deeply unsettling to him.
Viyansh: "I'll take care of it, but please don't mention this to anyone else, not even Vaidehi, okay?"
Driver: "Yes, Sir."
As Viyansh entered the room and saw Vaidehi, a sense of relief washed over him. Despite the unsettling news from the driver, seeing her safe and sound brought him immense comfort. He wasted no time in wrapping his arms around her, seeking solace in her embrace. She smiled, reciprocating the embrace, but couldn't help but notice the tension in his embrace.
Vaidehi: "What happened?"
Viyansh: "Just felt like hugging you."
Though he didn't lie to her, he also didn't divulge the true reason behind his sudden need for comfort. As they pulled back from the hug, Vaidehi diverted the conversation to a lighter topic.
aidehi: "Achcha Suniye, ye dono dress me se konsi achchi hai??" (Okay, listen, which one of these dresses do you think looks better?)
She gestured towards two yellow dresses she had laid out for the Haldi ceremony.
Viyansh: "Wear anything tum toh humesha hi Sundar lagti ho." (You look beautiful in anything you wear)
Vaidehi: "Ansh bataiye na please." (please tell me.)
Viyansh: "Okay, okay, this one."
He pointed towards the yellow plain sleeveless anarkali suit with a floral work dupatta.
Vaidehi: "Okay, thank you. Now go, or you'll be late for the office."
As Viyansh made his way towards the washroom, Vaidehi stopped him again.
Vaidehi: "Achcha Suniye." (Ok Listen)
Viyansh hummed and turned back.
Vaidehi: "Where's my phone? I want to call the driver."
Viyansh: "Driver? Why?"
Vaidehi: "So that he's on time..."
Before she could finish her sentence, he interrupted.
Viyansh: "Jaan, actually, he's not feeling well, so he won't be able to come for a few days."
Vaidehi: "Oh, what happened to Shankar bhaiya?"
Viyansh: "Nothing serious. Don't stress yourself; he'll be back in a few days. Until then, I'll drop you, so get ready quickly."
Vaidehi: "But won't you be late?"
Viyansh: "Do you mind if I spend some time with my lovely wife?"
She giggled.
Vaidehi: "Achcha baba thik hai." (Okay, fine.)
Viyansh: "I'll drop you off at the venue and pick you up for lunch. Don't eat anything there."
Vaidehi: "Alright, then I'll pack our outfits for the wedding so we can go directly from the office."
He came closer, wrapped his arms around her neck, and bent down to her height.
Viyansh: "Done. And about your phone, it's still in the car because my dear wife refused it when I offered her a new one yesterday."
He playfully tapped her nose, and she giggled.
Vaidehi: "Because your dear wife is a bit of an idiot. Sorry about that."
He chuckled.
Viyansh: "Don't you dare say anything about my Biwi; only I have that right."
Vaidehi: "Achcha ji?" (Oh really?)
Viyansh: "Hanji." (Yes, really.)
Vaidehi: "Ab jaiye hi Varna dono late ho jayenge." (Now go, or we'll both be late.)
Viyansh: "Ja raha hu baba. (I'm going, I'm going.)
Soon, the family finished their breakfast and gathered in the car.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, my phone."
Viyansh: "Here you go."
He handed her the new phone as he started driving. She unwrapped the phone, a smile spreading across her face as she admired it. After a while, they reached their destination, and Viyansh dropped her off.
Viyansh: "Biwi, jab tak main nahi aau please bahar mat aana." (don't come out until I return, okay?)
Vaidehi: "Jii" (Okay.)
Viyansh kissed Vaidehi's forehead and she kissed his cheeks before she darted inside, leaving him with a warm feeling. He proceeded to his office, but the recent accident incident continued to gnaw at his mind. Within the span of four hours, he called Vaidehi multiple times, expressing his concern for her well-being. However, Vaidehi scolded him for being overly protective, prompting him to restrain himself and await their lunch break.
During the lunch break, Viyansh hurried to pick up Vaidehi from the venue. Upon reaching, he dialed her number eagerly, hoping to find her soon.
Viyansh: "Hello, Biwi, where are you?"
To his surprise, the call was answered by someone other than Vaidehi.
Person: "She's in room number 204, please come fast."
Before Viyansh could inquire further, the call abruptly ended. His heart racing, he dashed into the hotel and located room 204. He knocked anxiously, and a young woman in her mid-twenties greeted him at the door.
Viyansh: "Where's Vaidehi?"
Girl: "Jiju, please come inside."
Filled with apprehension, Viyansh entered the room. As soon as Vaidehi caught sight of him, she rushed towards him and enveloped him in a tight hug, tears streaming down her cheeks. Viyansh instinctively held her close, lifting her slightly off the ground as she clung to him. Seeing her distressed state, he felt a surge of concern wash over him, his heart heavy with worry for his beloved wife.
