Vaidehi and Viyansh were en route to the wedding venue of her friend Ananya. They were twinning, with Vaidehi donning a royal blue lehenga and Viyansh sporting a matching royal blue kurta. She insisted on the color choice, believing that he looked doubly handsome in Indian attire. Vaidehi couldn't help but steal glances at Viyansh, admiring how effortlessly handsome he looked in his traditional attire. She noticed the subtle smirk playing on his lips, indicating that he was fully aware of her gaze, it only added to his allure. Lost in her thoughts about how to protect him from the attention of other girls at the venue, she was jolted back to reality by his voice, pulling her attention away from the passing scenery.
Viyansh: "Jaan, you did a good job."
His words left her puzzled, prompting her to inquire further.
Vaidehi: "What job, Ansh?"
Viyansh: "By applying this smudge-proof lipstick because I don't trust myself."
He winked at her playfully, causing her to quickly avert her gaze to conceal the blush creeping up her cheeks. She internally scolded herself for the involuntary reaction. Sure, she had used the lipstick he had given her, but it was simply because she liked the shade, not for any other reason he might have assumed.
Viyansh: "Blushing blushing are we jaan?"
Vaidehi: "Ansh stop it please. Aap pehle hi kar chuke hai." (You've already done enough)
Viyansh: "Kya kiya tha maine biwi?" (What did I do)
As she blushed, memories flooded Vaidehi's mind, recalling how Viyansh had reacted to seeing her in this attire earlier. His tender kiss upon seeing her had ignited a warmth within her that lingered even now. The mere thought of that moment caused her cheeks to flush even more deeply, the sensation of his lips against hers still vivid in her mind. Despite her attempts to conceal her emotions, Vaidehi couldn't help but smile to herself.
Vaidehi: "Annshhh please"
Amidst light chuckles, they arrived at the venue and stepped inside, Vaidehi's arm looped around Viyansh's. She had taken to clinging onto him, noticing the admiring gazes from other women directed at him. Despite the attention, Viyansh found comfort in her closeness, her protective gesture serving as a silent declaration of her affection and possessiveness.
Vaidehi: "Why does everybody have to be after my husband, huh?"
Vaidehi muttered under her breath, feeling a tad irritated by the attention he was receiving. However, she maintained her composure and later joined in to wish the couple, presenting them with their wedding gift along with the others. Later, they proceeded to the dinner counter, where Viyansh gallantly pulled out a chair for Vaidehi to sit and then went to fetch food for both of them. True to his gentlemanly nature, he returned with just one plate and settled beside his wife.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, only one plate?"
Viyansh: "Yeah, because I don't have any issue with sharing food with my Jaan. Do you?"
She smiled and shook her head, indicating that she didn't mind at all. As he extended a morsel towards her, she accepted it. Today, he was feeding her, perhaps because her hands were still red from banging on the door when she was locked in earlier that morning. As she ate, she suddenly stopped him and said.
Vaidehi: "Aap bhi toh khaiye na." (ou should also eat, right?)
He smiled and ate the bite, but his expression quickly shifted to one of concern.
Vaidehi: "What happened, Ansh?"
Viyansh: "Oh God, biwi, are you feeling unwell? Let's go to the doctor."
He stood up and reached for her hand, but she stopped him, looking confused.
Vaidehi: "Why do we need to go to the doctor?"
He cupped her face and spoke softly.
Viyansh: "Jaana, this gravy has mushrooms. "
Oh, so that's why he was worried; she's allergic to mushrooms.
Viyansh: "I'm sorry, biwi. I made sure not to get anything that had mushrooms, but I don't know how this happened."
She held his hand and gently guided him back to his seat, reassuring him with a comforting touch.
Vaidehi: "It's okay, Ansh, and I'm absolutely fine. A few bites won't affect me much, so relax. We'll go home, and I'll take my medicine."
Viyansh: "Are you sure you're not feeling any discomfort or anything?"
Vaidehi: "Haan ji Ansh, chaliye ab kuch aur khilaiye I'm hungry."
(Yes, Ansh, let's have something else now. I'm hungry.)
They finished their dinner and began their journey back home. However, Vaidehi couldn't shake off the feeling of misfortune that seemed to be following her.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, I think I'm having a string of bad luck"
Viyansh looked puzzled.
viyansh: "What do you mean, Bachcha?"
Vaidehi: "I mean, think about it. Yesterday, I had spicy food, then my phone got crushed, today I got locked out, and now these mushrooms,"
Vaidehi explained, listing out the recent incidents that had left her feeling unlucky.
Viyansh tried to reassure her with a smile.
Viyansh: "It's just a coincidence, Jaan."
Vaidehi: "No Ansh you know, yesterday at the mehendi function, a car almost hit me, but I managed to step back in time,"
Immediately, Viyansh's expression turned serious as he applied the brakes and turned to look at her with concern.
Viyansh: "What? And you didn't tell me this?"
He asked, his worry evident in his voice. Her hand trembled slightly as he grasped it, and she responded nervously, her voice betraying her inner turmoil.
Vaidehi: "Sorry Ansh, vo main bhool gayi."Â (I forgot)
Viyansh: "Bhool gayi seriously biwi?" (Forgot? Seriously,)
Vaidehi: "Sorry"
Viyansh: "Jaan yaar kyu itni careless ho tum??" (why are you so careless?)
Vaidehi: "I won't do it again, please forgive me, Ansh. I'm sorry,"
Viyansh: "Did you see whose car it was?"
Vaidehi: "No, it was just a passing car. I don't think someone would actually try to hit me,"
Vaidehi replied, trying to brush off the seriousness of the situation with a nervous giggle.
Viyansh's glare, however, indicated that he wasn't amused by her attempt to lighten the mood.
As he resumed driving, his thoughts drifted back to the recent events involving Vaidehi, especially the news of her car accident that the driver had shared with him.
As they approached home, Vaidehi kept silent, sensing that Viyansh might be upset with her. Meanwhile, she began to feel strange sensations in her stomach, accompanied by a slight pain and discomfort. Despite this, she chose not to mention anything to Viyansh, as they were almost home.
However, as time passed, the discomfort intensified, and Vaidehi began to feel dizzy and weak. Despite her condition, she remained determined to handle it on her own. Finally, they arrived home, and Vaidehi quietly stepped out of the car.
Viyansh: "Biwi, you go and change. I'll get some water for you. You need to take medicine for the allergy."
Vaidehi: "Ji" (Okay).
After reaching her room, Vaidehi proceeded to remove her makeup and jewelry, allowing her hair to cascade freely. However, she couldn't shake off the growing discomfort in her stomach. Slowly, she unpinned her dupatta, letting it fall to the ground. As she reached for it, she noticed rashes appearing on her neck and chest, causing her concern.
Suddenly, a wave of nausea washed over her, and she dashed into the washroom, barely making it before she began to vomit.
Viyansh reacted swiftly as soon as he saw Vaidehi's condition deteriorate. Without a moment's hesitation, he rushed towards her as she began to vomit, holding her gently and providing support as she emptied her stomach. Concern etched on his face, he rubbed her back soothingly, offering comfort amidst her discomfort.
Once Vaidehi had finished, Viyansh guided her to wash her face, ensuring she felt refreshed despite her weakness. With gentle care, he assisted her back to their bed, helping her settle down comfortably. Retrieving her allergy medicine, Viyansh held it out to her, silently urging her to take it to alleviate her symptoms.
Viyansh: "Jaan open your mouth."
Vaidehi complied with Viyansh's instructions, taking the medicine he offered and swallowing it down obediently.
Viyansh: "Are you okay bachcha??"
She offered him a faint smile and blinked her half-opened eyes in acknowledgment of his care.
Viyansh: "You look so weak. Let me call the doctor."
Vaidehi: "Ansh, I've taken my medicine, and I'll be fine by morning."
Viyansh: "Biwi, look at these rashes. yaar kitne laal ho gaye hai. Tum ruko main bulata hu doctor ko."
(They've turned so red. You wait here, I'll call the doctor.)
As he rose to leave, she grasped his hand and softly uttered.
Vaidehi: "Bahaut raat ho gayi, aap pareshan mat hoiye main subah Tak theek ho jaungi."
(It's very late now, don't worry, I'll be fine by morning.)
Viyansh: "Okay, fine, but ab tum araam karo. Let me apply the ointment on these rashes." (now you rest)
Viyansh gently adjusted Vaidehi, ensuring she was sitting comfortably with the support of the headrest. He then returned with an ointment and a towel, ready to tend to her needs. With tender care, he wiped away any traces of discomfort on her neck and began applying the ointment, his touch gentle and soothing as he carefully addressed the rashes on her neck, chest, and hands.
As he continued to apply the ointment, he noticed that she had drifted off to sleep. Glancing at her attire, he observed the rashes on her stomach and carefully applied the ointment to soothe the irritated skin. Concerned about her comfort, he gently tried to rouse her from sleep, suggesting she change her clothes as they were slightly damp.
Viyansh: "Biwi, get up and change your clothes, please."
He lightly patted her cheeks, but she remained unresponsive. Being a deep sleeper, coupled with the effects of the medicine, made it challenging for her to awaken.
Viyansh: "Offo kapde bhi nhi badle ab gile kapdo me kaise sone du tumhe. Should I change...but how can I."
(you haven't even changed your clothes. How can I let you sleep in damp clothes? Should I change... but how can I?)
He knew that their mutual love and trust would prevent her from doubting him, yet he hesitated to proceed without her consent. Despite their numerous kisses, they had always respected each other's boundaries and never crossed any lines. This hesitation lingered in his mind as he entered the closet to change his own clothes. However, after a brief internal struggle, he resolved to proceed and emerged with his shirt in hand. With a decisive nod, he turned off all the lights in the room, enveloping them in a soothing darkness. He approached Vaidehi, enveloping her in a tender embrace against his chest, and closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of their connection. Gently, he untied the strings of her blouse, his movements careful and respectful. With the same care, he guided her into his shirt, ensuring her comfort and modesty as he replaced her attire. He laid her down on the bed, ensuring she was comfortable, and then turned on the lights to illuminate the room. Taking care to tuck her securely under the duvet, he ensured she was snug and cozy. With a final glance to make sure she was resting peacefully, he stepped out onto the balcony, taking his phone with him.
Viyansh: "All these things can't be a coincidence, Jaan. I need to find out what's going on."
He murmured the words softly, his gaze lingering on her peaceful form, before dialing a number. After a few rings, the call connected, and he began speaking to the person on the other end.
Viyansh: "Hello."
Person: "If this is nonsense, I swear I'll kill you, Viyansh."
Viyansh: "It's really important, that's why I called you at this time."
Person: "What's the matter?"
Viyansh: "Are you back in Mumbai?"
Person: "Yes, and I'm with my wife. You're disturbing me like hell."
Viyansh: "Oh, I'm so sorry. Meet me at my place tomorrow evening. It's important."
Person: "Fine. Now bye."
Viyansh: "Bye."
Returning to the room, he settled beside Vaidehi, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead before snuggling close to her, finding solace in her presence as they drifted off to sleep in each other's embrace.
Next day, Vaidehi awoke to find the other side of the bed empty. Sitting up, she looked around the room, searching for any sign of Viyansh.
Vaidehi: "Ansh humesha mujhe akele chod ke chale jate hai. Baat hi nahi karungi unse huh"
(Ansh always leaves me alone and goes away. I won't talk to him at all, huh.)
She was about to get out of bed when she noticed that she was wearing his shirt, although she distinctly remembered falling asleep in her lehenga dress. Lost in thought, Vaidehi was startled when Viyansh emerged from their walk-in closet and noticed her awake.
Viyansh: "Bachcha tum uth gayi, how are you feeling now? Any pain or discomfort??" (you're awake.)
He approached and seated himself in front of her on the bed, but she greeted him with a glare.
Viyansh: "what?"
Vaidehi: A"ap humesha mujhe bistar par akele chod ke chale jate ho."
(You always leave me alone on the bed.)
She complained with a pout, and he responded with a smile as he gently cupped her face.
Viyansh: "Because you were tired last night, so I let you sleep. How are you feeling now?"
She smiled in response and replied to him.
Vaidehi: "Just a little bit of body pain, but otherwise, I'm all good."
Viyansh: "Should I call the doctor?"
Vaidehi: "Har baat pe doctor zaruri nahi hota Ansh, I'll take one more dose of my allergic medicine and I'll be back to full on energy."
(It's not necessary to call the doctor for every little thing)
She grinned in delight as he leaned forward and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Viyansh: "Okay."
Vaidehi: "Ansh, vo mere kapde kisne badle." (who changed my clothes?)
He blushed slightly and a faint redness tinted his cheeks, betraying his embarrassment.
Viyansh: "Ahh, Jaan, actually it's me. Your clothes were wet, so I had to change them. But trust me, I had switched off the lights and closed my eyes as well. I didn't see you."
He attempted to explain himself, but she interrupted him by standing on her knees and gently cupping his face in her hands.
Vaidehi: "Ansh aap mujhe explanation de rhe h seriously, even if u had seen me main phir bhii kuch nahi kehti I trust you, Pati h aap mere hak hai aapka.. apna haq Jatana sikhiye."
(Ansh, you're giving me an explanation seriously? Even if you had seen me, I wouldn't have said anything. I trust you. As my husband, you have every right, so learn to assert it.)
He gently held her hands that were on his face.
Viyansh: "No, Meri Jaan, you are my wife. Yes, I do have rights over you, but not over your body, Jaana. No one can touch or see you without your permission, not even me."
Vaidehi: "I understand, Patidev, but I will always welcome your every touch with love. Just because we haven't done anything doesn't mean I don't trust you." (Husband)
She expressed her affection by planting a tender kiss on his forehead.
Vaidehi: "It's just that it will be our first time, and I'm just a bit scared. But please give me some time. After all, mujhe toh aapko dekhna hai , your hot abs, attractive back, and muscles."
(I want to see you)
A rosy hue spread across his cheeks in response to her words.
Vaidehi: "Hayyy ye aapke chehre pe sharam ki laali, uff tab kya hoga jab hum sach vo..."
(the blush on your face! Oh, what will happen when we really...)
He placed a gentle hand over her lips, silencing her with a tender gesture.
Viyansh: "Shut up Biwi, subah subah ye kaisi baatein kar Rahi ho??"
(What kind of talk is this early in the morning?)
Vaidehi: "Sorry Ansh, ye sab toh mujhe raat me kehna chahiye na tab aap aur sharmayenge."
(I should have said all this to you at night. That way, you would have blushed more.)
She winked playfully at him, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of red.
Viyansh: "you shameless creature aisi baatein karogi toh definitely I'll blush." (If you talk like this, then definitely I'll blush.)
His cheeks flushed even deeper, and she couldn't help but giggle at his adorable reaction.
Vaidehi: "Aapki inhi baaton se mujhe aap pe zor se pyaar aa raha hai."
(It's your words like these that make me fall deeply in love with you.)
She threw herself into his arms, and he wrapped them around her in a tight embrace, pulling her close. She playfully nuzzled her nose and lips against his neck, eliciting a ticklish sensation that caused him to burst into laughter as he embraced her tightly.
Viyansh: "Stop bachcha aur Chalo ab batao rashes hai ya gaye."
(Come on, now tell me, are the rashes still there or gone?)
He began to check her neck for any signs of irritation or rashes, but paused, seeking her permission with a glance before proceeding.
Viyansh: "May I?"
She smiled and blinked her eyes in affirmation. He gently unbuttoned one of the top buttons of her shirt and examined the rashes, which had noticeably lightened since last night.
Viyansh: "Okay, they are better than last night."
Vaidehi: "Told you."
Viyansh: "Still, you're going to rest the entire day, and I'll take care of everything."
Vaidehi: "Aapko office nahi jana?"
(Aren't you going to the office?)
Viyansh: "I'll take a leave today."
Vaidehi: "Offo, Ansh, don't take leave just because of me. I promise I'll rest the entire day, but you shouldn't disturb your work."
Viyansh: "Ajeeb biwi ho dusro ki biwiya chahti h unke pati leave le aur ek meri biwi h zabardasti office bhejna chahti hai mujhe."
(Strange wife! Other wives want their husbands to take leave, and here I have a wife who insists on sending me to the office forcibly.)
Vaidehi: "Anshhh!"
She said in a stern voice, attempting to intimidate him, but it only made him chuckle.
Viyansh: "Alright, I'll go. But now you go and freshen up."
Vaidehi: "Achcha haa ye bhi baaki h na uff ye roz Roz ka nahana.. mujhse toh nahi hota."
(Okay fine, this is also pending, ugh, this daily bathing routine... I can't handle it.)
Viyansh: "Main madad kar du?"
(Shall I help you?)
He said, his voice becoming seductive as he moved closer to her.
Vaidehi: "Yes please."
She spread her arms, expecting him to lift her. He shook his head and scooped her up into his arms, carrying her over to the washroom.
Viyansh: "Wear something light, Jaan, and then I'll apply the ointment again."
Vaidehi: "Aapki shirt pehen lu?" (Should I wear your shirt?)
He pulled her close by her waist, his voice dripping with seduction as he whispered into her ear.
Viyansh: "I would love that, biwi."
He kissed her neck tenderly, trailing soft kisses from her neck up to her cheeks.
Viyansh: "But I don't think tum aise breakfast ke liye aa paogi."
(you'll be able to make it for breakfast like this.)
Vaidehi: "Haa ye baat toh hai.. thik hai raat me phir aapki shirt pehen lungi."
(Yes, that's true. Okay, I'll wear your shirt again tonight then.)
She said this and kissed his cheeks, eliciting a chuckle from him.
Viyansh: "Now goo."
Vaidehi: "Aye aye captain."
He ruffled her hair affectionately before she went inside. After both of them were ready for the day, they came down for breakfast together.
Viraj: "Oh my god, Cupcake, why is your entire face red??"
Virat: "Come on, Viraj, Sweetie Pie is blushing. Bhai must have done something mischievous."
Vaidehi's eyes widened in shock while Viyansh threw an apple at both of them, which they caught effortlessly. Viraj and Virat burst into laughter, and Viyansh shot them a glare in response.
Vihaan: "But dahi seriously pura chehra laal ho rakha hai.. Sach me Bhai ne kuch Kiya kya??"
(But seriously, your entire face is red ... Did Bhai really do something?)
Vaidehi: "Ahaan bhaiii"
She let out a whine of protest.
Viyansh: "She's having an allergic reaction, guys."
Vikram: "What??? Kya hua beta" (What happened)
Vaidehi: "kal raat mushrooms kha liye Popsy galti se."
(Last night, I accidentally ate mushrooms, Popsy.)
Vikram: "Oh god, Viyansh, did you consult the doctor?"
Vaidehi: "I'm alright, Popsy."
Vihaan: "Don't take it lightly, Dahi. Come on, let's go to the doctor."
Viraj: "Bhai I'm waiting in the car come with bhabhi maa."
Virat: "I'm also coming."
All of them stood up but Vaidehi asked them to stop.
Vaidehi: "Ruko saare." (Wait, everyone.)
They halted their blabbering, and Viyansh couldn't help but smile at the genuine concern the family showed for his wife. After all, Vaidehi was the center of their affection, the sole woman in the household, and it was evident that they all cared deeply for her well-being.
Vaidehi: "Keh rahi hu na I'm okay. I've taken the medicine, and this redness will go away in a few hours." (I'm telling you)
Vikram: "Are you sure ladoo?"
Vaidehi: "Yes Popsy."
He affectionately patted her head, and she responded with a smile. After their breakfast, filled with their usual banter, everyone departed for their respective duties, reminding Vaidehi to take some rest before starting her day.
