Whispers of RomanceWords: 23801

Vaidehi prepared for dinner at Eklavya's place, dressing in an elegant black ethnic dress with a daring slit down the middle, revealing a glimpse of her navel. She draped a dupatta gracefully over her left shoulder and adorned her hands with a few delicate bangles. Her makeup was kept minimal, with a subtle touch of nude lipstick, enhancing her natural beauty. As Vaidehi stood before the mirror, carefully adjusting her jhumka, she felt a pair of familiar hands sneak around her waist, slipping beneath the fabric of her dress. The unexpected touch sent a shiver of excitement down her spine, and she couldn't help but smile as she recognized her husband's tender embrace, she glanced at her husband through the reflection, their eyes meeting in a silent exchange of affection. He leaned in, resting his chin on her shoulder, their closeness palpable even in the mirrored image. His attire, a black shirt paired with crisp white trousers, complemented his presence, adding to the scene of quiet intimacy between them.

Viyansh: "Meri jaan lene ka irada hai?"

(Are you planning to take my life?)

Softly, he murmured words of endearment, his warm breath caressing her ear, before pressing a tender kiss to her cheek.

Vaidehi: "mujhe toh laga main hi aapki Jaan hu."

(I thought I was your life.)

With a soft smile playing on his lips, he gazed at her fondly, his eyes reflecting warmth and adoration.

Viyansh: "Har baat ka jawab hai na tumhare pass."

(You have an answer for everything.)

As she giggled playfully, he gently turned her around to face him, his eyes twinkling with affection. Vaidehi allowed herself to be turned around to face her husband, a gleam of affection in her eyes as he took her other jhumka and carefully placed it in her ear. As he fastened the second jhumka in place, she offered him a heartfelt compliment.

Vaidehi: "Vaise, my hot husband is looking extremely hot today."

With a playful wink, Vaidehi teased her husband, prompting him to turn his gaze away in an attempt to conceal his blush. However, despite his efforts, his telltale flush betrayed his bashfulness, much to her amusement.

Undeterred by his adorable embarrassment, she rose up on her tiptoes, closing the distance between them, and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek.

Vaidehi: "Hot ke sath cute bhi hai aap."

(You're not just hot, you're cute too.)

Feeling overwhelmed, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

Viyansh: "Bas bhi Karo mujhe chedna."

(Stop teasing me.)

Vaidehi: "Abhi shuru hi kaha Kiya hai?? Batau chedna kise kehte hai??"

(I've just started, you know? Do you know what teasing means?)

Viyansh: "Batao"

(Tell me.)

As he planted a kiss on her neck, she gently pulled away from their embrace, surprising him with her sudden movement. Swiftly, she intertwined her fingers with his, wrapping his hands around her waist while she looped her arms around his neck, drawing him close once again.

With a mischievous grin, she let out a playful whistle and winked at him, her actions causing his eyes to widen in surprise.

Vaidehi: "You are looking like a cherry on top of the cake. Man kar Raha hai abhi kha jau aapko, bas pighal jau aapki hotness se, sama jau aapke sine me. Bilkul Diwali ka pataka lag rahe hai aap ekdum bomb."

(I feel like eating you right now, melting in your hotness, and getting lost in your embrace. You look like a firecracker, ready to explode.)

Startled by her unexpected choice of words, his eyes widened in shock, a flicker of surprise crossing his features. Reacting swiftly, he instinctively placed his palm over her mouth, a silent gesture urging her to refrain from further surprises.

Viyansh: "aisi baatein itni tameez se sirf tum kar sakti ho biwi aur Ye road side Romeo language kaha se sikhi hai???"

(Only you can say such things with such grace, and Where did you learn this roadside Romeo language?)

He gently removed his hand from her mouth, unable to contain her giggles as she observed his flushed cheeks. As she flipped her hair with a playful flourish, she met his gaze with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

Vaidehi: "That's the secret of Vaidehi Viyansh Singhania."

With a tender smile, he leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Vaidehi: "Ab chalein? Der ho rahi hai na?"

(Shall we go now? It's getting late, isn't it?)

Viyansh: "Wait a minute."

He stepped towards the wardrobe, a curious expression dancing in his eyes, and returned moments later, holding a small box in his hands.

Vaidehi: "What's this?"

Viyansh: "An apology gift."

Vaidehi: "Apology??? For what, Ansh?"

With a delicate gesture, he revealed a thin waist chain from the box, its delicate design gleaming in the light. As he knelt down before her, his eyes filled with warmth and affection.

Viyansh: "Apni jaan ko pareshan karne ke liye."

(For troubling my love.)

Looking up at her with adoration in his eyes, he met her smile with a tender gaze.

Vaidehi: "Par main toh naraz nahi hu."

(But I'm not upset.)

Viyansh: "Ab apni biwi ke liye kuch lane ke liye use naraz karu main???"

(Should I wait for you to get upset with me to bring a gift for my wife?)

With a playful giggle and a gentle shake of her head, she watched him intently as he slid his hand around her waist, the slit in her dress providing easy access. er hands rested gently on his shoulders as he leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her navel, sending a shiver down her spine. Closing her eyes, she found herself breathing heavily, her fingers clutching his shoulders tightly in response to the surge of sensation that washed over her.

Standing up straight, he leaned in close to her ear, his warm breath sending tingles down her spine as he whispered softly.

Viyansh: "You have a sexy navel, Biwi."

Overwhelmed by the rush of emotions, she buried her face in his chest, seeking solace in his embrace, while he chuckled softly, his arms wrapping around her lovingly.

Viyansh: "Why do I always blush? Now it's your turn."

She playfully hit his chest, perhaps in response to his chuckle, and he responded with a gentle kiss to her hair.

Viyansh: "Chalein??"

(Shall we?)

Vaidehi (Smiling): "Jii"

(Yes)

Together, they descended the stairs, joining the others who were gathered in the living room, engrossed in watching TV.

Vikram: "Oh, you guys are ready."

Viyansh: "Ji papa bas nikal hi rahe hai."

(Yes, Dad, we're just about to leave.)

Vikram: "My ladoo is looking pretty."

She smiled and side hugged him.

Vaidehi: "Popsy, aap please dinner time pe kar lena and medicines le lena."

(Dad, please take your medicine on time during dinner.)

Vikram: "Yeah, don't worry baba."

Vaidehi: "And tum dono Raj and Veer, you both please make sure ki Popsy medicine le le, and tum dono bhi koi argument mat karna, jaldi so Jana kal office bhi Jana h na.

(And both of you, don't argue, go to bed early; you have to go to the office tomorrow.)

Both of them nodded.

Viraj, Virat: "yes bhabhi maa"

Vaidehi: "Ahan bhai, don't overwork yourself, okay? Have dinner and get some sleep."

Vihaan: "Ok dahi."

Vaidehi: "And Popsy, your medicine is in the drawer to the left of your bed, and..."

She paused as she was interrupted.

Vikram: "Viyansh, ye itni mature ladki meri beti nahi ho sakti hai, isko leke Jaa yaha se..."

(Viyansh, this mature girl cannot be my daughter; take her away from here...)

The laughter of all four siblings filled the room.

Viyansh: "Chalo biwi."

(Come)

Vaidehi: "Ansh, did you see these guys..."

Viyansh: "Chalo yaar."

(Let's go)

Vaidehi: "Popsy, if you need anything, just call..."

Interrupted once more by Viyansh's playful intervention, Vaidehi found herself lifted effortlessly into his arms, her protests drowned out by the laughter of those around them. she wiggled playfully as Viyansh carried her out of the house, their laughter echoing in the air.

Once outside, Viyansh gently set her down in the passenger seat of the car, his own laughter still evident as he settled into the driver's seat. As Viyansh glanced at Vaidehi, he couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of her puffy cheeks and red nose, clear signs of her lingering anger. Undeterred by her irritation, he started driving, hoping to lighten the mood with some music. However, before the song could even begin, Vaidehi swiftly turned it off, her frustration evident in her actions.

Knowing exactly how to soothe her anger, Viyansh offered a simple apology and leaned in to press a tender kiss on her cheeks.

Viyansh: "Sorry na mera bachcha."

A smile graced her lips.

Vaidehi: "It's okay."

A soft chuckle escaped him.

Viyansh: "Bas nautanki karva lo tumse."

(You just want to do drama)

Vaidehi: "Nahi karu?"

(should I Not?)

Viyansh: "Aisa thodi kaha maine, infact yehi sab karte huye achcha lagta hai mera bachcha, last two days you were behaving so maturely with me, though you were pampering me and I was enjoying but, seeing you all matured and understanding doesn't settle well with me. Sorry Jaan meri vajah se..."

(I never said that. In fact, I enjoy doing all this with my baby. For the past two days, you were behaving so maturely with me, though you were pampering me, and I enjoyed it, but seeing you all mature and understanding doesn't sit well with me. Sorry, darling, it's because of me...)

She gently placed her hand atop his, which rested on the gear.

Vaidehi: "We won't think about those things again, okay? And if you like me all childish toh phir main aaj aapko bahaut tang karungi chalega aapko??"

(And if you like me being all childish, then shall I annoy you today?)

Another chuckle bubbled up from within him.

Viyansh: "Daudega. Tum uchal kud karti huyi hi achchi lagti ho, ha bas girna nahi."

(You'll be running around. You look cute when you're jumping around; just don't fall.)

Vaidehi: "Ansh"

She let out a playful whine.

Vaidehi: "Main kitna try karti hu phir bhi gir jati hu kaise toh, why am I so clumsy Ansh??"

(I try so hard, but I still fall.)

He smiled fondly and shook his head slightly.

Viyansh: "You don't need to worry about that. I'm always there to hold you, protect you, care for you, love you, kiss you, and to make l..."

Vaidehi: "Okay, okay, I got it."

A delicate blush colored her cheeks as she averted her gaze, turning her attention to the view outside the window.

As they arrived at Eklavya's house, they were warmly greeted by Eklavya and his wife. Eklavya and Viyansh exchanged hugs, a gesture of their close bond. Viyansh then extended a bouquet to Eklavya and a gift to his wife Naina.

Eklavya: "Idiot, this was not needed."

Naina: "Exactly, Viyansh bhai, you're not coming here for the first time."

Viyansh: "I said the same thing, Naina bhabhi, but this wife of mine was dancing on my head to get a gift for you."

Eklavya: "Of course, this little bunny..."

A brief pause fell over the room as Viyansh, Eklavya, and Naina all turned their gaze towards Vaidehi. Standing there with an admiring expression, Vaidehi's attention was captivated by Naina's baby bump, her eyes filled with a mixture of wonder and joy at the sight of the growing life within. Observing Naina's subtle baby bump, which was just starting to show at five months, Viyansh realized the cause of the admiring look on Vaidehi's face. He gently shook his head at his own oversight before reaching out to pull Vaidehi closer to him.

Viyansh: "Sorry, Naina bhabhi, she's too curious today as she hasn't seen any pregnant women."

Naina's smile of understanding and warmth reassured them, bringing Vaidehi back from her momentary reverie. Vaidehi returned Naina's smile sheepishly, realizing she had been lost in her thoughts.

Vaidehi: "Hello bhabhi."

Naina: "No need for formalities, Vaidehi."

Naina approached Vaidehi with a gentle smile and opened her arms for a hug, which Vaidehi gladly accepted.

Eklavya: "Hey, little bunny, won't you greet me?"

Vaidehi's playful antics, as she made funny faces, elicited chuckles from both Naina and Viyansh.

Vaidehi: "Who are you, Mr. Tall Giraffe? I'm here to meet my bhabhi."

As Vaidehi grinned mischievously, Eklavya shot her a playful glare.

Naina: "Okay, okay, come, have a seat first."

The four of them settled indoors, engaging in casual conversation that flowed effortlessly between them

Vaidehi: "Ummm Eklavya bhai Suniye."

(Listen)

Eklavya, caught off guard while taking a sip of water, suddenly choked and began coughing. Viyansh swiftly moved to pat his friend's back, offering assistance, while Vaidehi, with an amused roll of her eyes.

Vaidehi: "Dramatic."

Eklavya: "What did you call me?"

She glanced at Viyansh, who responded with a subtle blink.

Vaidehi: "Thank you so much for saving me and my Ansh that night, Eklavya bhai."

He approached her, took her hand in his, and spoke softly.

Eklavya: "Bhai bhi bolti ho aur thank you bhi. And Anyways, you called me "bhai," and that's more than enough for me."

(Brother and thank you in one sentence.)

Vaidehi wore a teasing smile as she spoke.

Vaidehi: "Vaise aap itne bhi bure nahi ho Mr. Tall giraffe."

(By the way, you're not that bad)

His expression shifted to one of annoyance in response.

Eklavya: "You Little bunny."

She couldn't contain her giggles as she continued to playfully tease him. Eventually, after more lighthearted banter between them, Eklavya and Viyansh excused themselves, leaving Vaidehi and Naina to enjoy each other's company.

In Eklavya's Study,

Viyansh and Eklavya settled onto the couch.

Eklavya: "Look, Viyansh, whatever I'm about to say now, listen to me very carefully, and you need to stay calm, okay?"

Viyansh: "Stop scaring me, Eklavya. You've already done that over the phone. Just get to the point."

Eklavya: "You remember that night when we were all heading to the club where Shruti took you? Well, that night, some goons attacked Vaidehi."

Viyansh: "Yeah, biwi told me they were hired by Shruti."

Eklavya: "No, they weren't."

Viyansh: "What?"

Eklavya: "Yes, they weren't hired by Shruti but by someone else."

Viyansh: "What are you saying? Someone's targeting my wife?"

Eklavya: "Yes, and I think it's connected to what happened 14 years ago, during that incident. Although I've been keeping an eye on her parents as well, they're not in town right now."

Viyansh's tension was palpable, evident in his demeanor.

Viyansh: "Why is all this happening, Eklavya? Why is everything so complicated?"

He leaned back, resting his head against the headrest behind him. Eklavya, sensing his friend's distress, offered a supportive gesture by placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Eklavya: "Don't worry, my team and I are working hard to find the culprit, and we'll catch them soon. Just don't let little bunny go out alone, although we've caught some of their goons, so they won't take any action for a few days. But still, stay alert."

Viyansh, consumed by worry for his wife, could only manage a hum in response, his mind preoccupied with concern.

Later, as they continued their conversation, Eklavya revealed additional details about the incident that had occurred in Vaidehi's life fourteen years prior, shedding more light on the situation and perhaps offering insight into its impact on her.

Their conversation was interrupted by Vaidehi's sudden scream, sending a wave of tension through the room. Reacting swiftly, they rushed towards her, their hearts pounding with worry. However, their concern turned to relief as they found her joyfully jumping on the couch in the living room, her scream merely a burst of excitement rather than distress.

Vaidehi: "Waahh, bhabhi, this is perfect."

With a blush adorning her cheeks, Vaidehi was on the couch. Viyansh approached her and took her hand, mindful of her tendency to stumble.

Eklavya: "What nonsense, Can't you stay in one place, little bunny? Do you have to hop and jump everywhere?"

She placed her hands on her waist.

Vaidehi: "Do you have a problem with that?"

Eklavya: "Yes, and what are you going to do about it? Can you solve it?"

Vaidehi: "That's not my job, and don't look for useless reasons to argue with me."

Viyansh: "Why did you scream, Jaana?"

Vaidehi: "Because, Ansh, bhabhi gave me an idea for our..."

Just as Vaidehi was on the verge of blurting out everything, Naina swiftly hit her hand, causing Vaidehi to pause mid-sentence, realizing what she was going to say.

Viyansh: "About what, bachcha?"

She smiled sheepishly, a blush creeping onto her cheeks

Vaidehi: "Nothing, Ansh, nothing, forget it."

Viyansh: "Bolo, bachcha."

(Tell me)

Eklavya: "Exactly, Viyansh, she's just a kid, with her tiny height."

Her smile faded, replaced by a glare directed at Eklavya.

Vaidehi: "And you're a tall giraffe with big ears."

Eklavya: "At least I look handsome."

Vaidehi: "That's your misconception."

As they began to quarrel, Viyansh and Naina found themselves alternately glancing between the two. Suddenly, a voice interrupted from behind.

Person: "What's going on here?"

Vaidehi, Eklavya: "Dikhta nahi lad rahe hai hum."

(Can't you see we're arguing?)

Both Eklavya and Vaidehi spoke simultaneously before realizing their mistake and turning around. Standing before them were Eklavya's parents. Viyansh approached them and sought their blessings.

Mr. Ashwit Rathore and Mrs. Ashwini Rathore, Eklavya's parents, stood before them, their gaze stern. Vaidehi, still standing on the couch with her mouth open in shock, was caught off guard. Sensing an opportunity to tease her, Eklavya contemplated his next move.

Eklavya: "Little bunny, at least greet them. They're my parents, and they're older than you. And please cover your head. Where are your traditions?"

She quickly adopted an innocent expression, attempting to shield herself by pulling her dupatta over her head. However, her efforts caused her to lose balance, and her leg slipped. Fortunately, Viyansh reacted swiftly, reaching out to grab her and steady her by the waist before gently setting her down. With a glare directed at Eklavya, who struggled to contain his laughter at Vaidehi's startled reaction, Viyansh silently conveyed his disapproval. Quickly covering her head, Vaidehi bent down to touch their feet, but they stepped back, causing her to feel a pang of embarrassment, assuming they disapproved of her behavior. Lowering her gaze, she held Viyansh's hand tightly, seeking comfort in his presence. Despite his smile, Viyansh observed his wife, noting her unusual nervousness, a stark contrast to her usual confident demeanor where she used to scold and rule over the entire Singhania family.

Ashwit: "Oh, so you're little bunny."

She met their gaze and spoke directly to them.

Vaidehi: "Mera naam Vaidehi Viyansh Singhania hai, little bunny nahi hai uncle."

(My name is Vaidehi Viyansh Singhania, not little bunny, uncle.)

Ashwit: "Yaha aao"

(Come here.)

He beckoned her over, and she glanced at Viyansh, who responded with a subtle blink. Approaching them, Ashwit placed his hand on her head, leaving her feeling puzzled. Then, Ashwini approached and embraced her in a hug.

Vaidehi: "I'm sorry for speaking to you that way."

Noticing the heaviness in her voice, Ashwini gently pulled back from the hug and tenderly caressed Vaidehi's cheeks.

Ashwini: "We stepped back because Girls don't touch their feet, they live in the heart."

Ashwit: "Aur tum toh humari beti jaisi hi ho na, Eklavya ko Bhai bolti ho na."

(And you're like our daughter, right? You call Eklavya "Bhai," don't you?)

Vaidehi nodded and smiled.

Ashwit: "And ye mazaak kar Raha tha, No need to cover your head; we don't have such a tradition, beta."

(He was just joking.)

Turning her gaze towards Eklavya, Vaidehi found him laughing at her, which caused even Viyansh to giggle.

Vaidehi: "Ansh aap bhi??"

(You too?)

Viyansh: "Sorry Jaan."

She turned her attention back to Eklavya's parents and spoke.

Vaidehi: "I'm so sorry, uncle, aunty."

Ashwini: "Are beta We said there's no need."

Vaidehi: "No, aunty, I'm apologizing because now I'm not going to leave your son."

Confusion filled the room momentarily, but then Vaidehi unexpectedly lifted a cushion and hurled it at Eklavya, who promptly began to run away, eliciting laughter from those present. Vaidehi, in turn, joined in the fun, chasing after him with playful enthusiasm.

Viyansh, Naina, and Eklavya's parents were engaged in conversation when they noticed Vaidehi and Eklavya returning, their laughter echoing through the room. Vaidehi settled beside Viyansh, who instinctively wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

Viyansh: "Ye tumne ise itni asani se maaf kar diya??"

(You forgave him so easily?)

Vaidehi: "Haa kyuki Bhai ne bola vo mujhe ice cream khilayenge."

(Yes, because Bhai said he'll treat me to ice cream.)

Viyansh shot a glare in Eklavya's direction.

Viyansh: "Yehi mila tha tujhe bhi offer karne ko?? Din bhar ice cream khati rehti hai ye."

(Is this all it takes to offer her something? she eats ice cream all day.)

Eklavya: "Tu hi toh bachcha bachcha karta rehta toh bachche ice cream khayenge hi na."

(You keep calling her a child, so children eat ice cream.)

Vaidehi: "Bhai, don't start again, or this time I won't spare you."

Naina: "Lavya, why are you teasing her?"

Eklavya: "Nain, you don't know her; she's such a brat."

Vaidehi: "Uncle dekho na bhai ko."

(Uncle, look at Brother.)

Eklavya chuckled in response.

Eklavya: "Okay, okay, sorry, little bunny."

After some pleasant conversation with Eklavya's parents, they enjoyed a hearty dinner together. Later, as promised by Eklavya, Viyansh, Vaidehi, Eklavya, and Naina headed to an ice cream parlor for a sweet treat.

Viyansh: "Jaan, which flavor, your regular Belgium chocolate?"

Vaidehi: "No, Ansh, black currant."

Viyansh: "Are you sure you don't want Belgium chocolate?"

Vaidehi: "No, I want to try this, please. Raj and Veer said it's good."

Viyansh: "Okay, this Raj and Veer of yours."

Eklavya and Viyansh went to place their order, leaving Vaidehi and Naina to wait for their return, enjoying each other's company in the meantime.

Vaidehi: "Bhabhi, bhai ne aapse pucha hi nahi aapko konsa flavour chahiye."

(didn't even ask you which flavor you wanted.)

Naina: "He knows my pregnancy cravings."

Vaidehi smiled at Naina with genuine admiration.

Vaidehi: "That must be such a beautiful feeling, isn't it?"

Naina: "Yep, it is, and I guess soon even you will experience it."

Vaidehi blushed in response to Naina's teasing smile.

Vaidehi: "Kya bhabhi"

(What sister in law)

Naina: "What "Kya," bhabhi? I've given you the idea about the surprise. Anyway, how many kids do you want?"

Vaidehi got excited.

Vaidehi: "Three."

Viyansh: "What three, biwi?"

Viyansh took a seat beside Vaidehi, while Eklavya settled beside Naina. Catching Vaidehi's eye, Naina winked playfully, but Vaidehi skillfully changed the topic, diverting the conversation elsewhere.

Vaidehi: "Three ice creams, Ansh. I want to eat three ice creams."

He playfully smacked her on the head.

Viyansh: "Bilkul bhi nahi. Din bhar bas ice cream ice cream karna hai bas."

(Not at all. You just want to eat ice cream all day.)

She pouted in respons

Viyansh: "Don't."

He leaned towards her ear and whispered something.

Viyansh: "Don't pout, or else you know what I will do."

Blushing, Vaidehi glanced at Eklavya and Naina to see if they had noticed her playful exchange with Viyansh, but they were happily engrossed in their own conversation. With the arrival of their order, they resumed chatting. As they conversed, Viyansh caught Vaidehi looking at him with a playful pout and innocent, puppy-dog eyes. His chuckle escaped him, unable to resist her adorable expression.

Viyansh: "Kaha toh tha, sunti kaha ho?"

(Told you, but you don't listen to me)

Vaidehi: "Sorry na"

He chuckled again.

Viyansh: "Pagal."

(Crazy.)

He playfully tapped her on the nose.

Viyansh: "Ye lo."

(Here you go.)

He swapped their ice creams, giving her his and taking hers instead.
