Whispers of RomanceWords: 28556

Vaidehi dashed into their room only to find it empty, her heart sinking momentarily. However, as she spotted Viyansh in the closet, in the midst of removing his shirt. Without a moment's hesitation, she rushed over and wrapped her arms around him from behind, embracing him in a warm hug. Startled by the sudden embrace, Viyansh paused in his task of removing his shirt, turning slightly to see Vaidehi standing behind him, her arms wrapped around him in a tight hug. A soft smile curved his lips at the unexpected gesture of affection from his wife. However, he refrained from showing his smile to her.

Vaidehi: "Ansh sorry na please."

He remained silent, offering no response. As Viyansh shrugged off her embrace and reached for a towel, Vaidehi's pout deepened, disappointment flickering in her eyes. Watching him leave the closet without a word, she felt a pang of hurt. Before he could step out,  she called out to him with sadness in her voice.

Vaidehi: "Ansh please na I'm sorry, sorry, so...uhhuuu uuhhuu"

She begins coughing due to her sore throat. Feeling the urgency in Vaidehi's coughs, Viyansh immediately turned back, his concern evident on his face as he rushed to her side. Without any delay, he enveloped her in a gentle hug, pulling her close to him as he began to rub her back.

Viyansh: "Kya zarurat hai itne zor se bolne ki?"

(Was it necessary to speak so loudly?)

Vaidehi: "Aap sun hi nahi rahe the."

(You weren't listening otherwise.)

Viyansh: "Tum kaam hi aise karti ho."

(You always do things like this.)

Feeling Viyansh start to pull away, Vaidehi tightened her grip on his hand, not ready to let him go just yet. Sensing her reluctance, Viyansh turned back to her, his gaze meeting hers. Before he could speak, Vaidehi quickly raised her other hand and clasped it over her ears, a gesture of apology.

Vaidehi: "Sorry Patidev."

(Husband)

With a solemn expression, Viyansh crossed his arms over his chest and spoke in a firm tone.

Viyansh: "Why are you apologizing? It's okay if you find someone else handsome. And from now on, I won't call your dramas unnecessary."

He said, turning his face away.

Standing on her toes, she wrapped her arms around his neck, enveloped him in a tender embrace. Though he was upset, he couldn't bear to see her falter, so he instinctively encircled his hands around her waist, offering support. Her smile, brought about by his protective gesture, warmed his heart.

Vaidehi: "I love you."

With a gentle motion, she leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on his lips.

Viyansh: "Biwi"

Vaidehi: "I love you."

Once more, she leaned in and bestowed another light kiss on his lips, her gesture filled with warmth and tenderness.

Viyansh: "Jaan"

Once more, she leaned in and planted another quick peck on his lips.

Vaidehi: "I love you"

A hint of color tinted his cheeks as he received her sweet gesture, his bashfulness evident in the gentle flush that graced his face.

Viyansh: "Tum mujhe kabhi naraz rehne bhi dogi?? Yaar Biwi main pighal gaya na phir se."

(Will you ever let me stay angry? Darling, I'm melting again.)

Vaidehi: "Aap naraz rahe mujhse ye toh main hone nahi dungi kabhi But Yeah he was handsome."

(I won't let you stay angry with me, but yes, he was handsome.)

He shot her a playful glare, but she couldn't resist teasing him further. With a mischievous giggle, she reached out and pinched his cheeks, earning herself a smile from him despite his feigned sternness.

Vaidehi: "But aap patidev aap toh handsome ke sath sath Hot bhi hai, cute bhi hai. And this stubble of yours? It's my weakness. But when you're back—that's even hotter. And when you're angry? Oh god, your hotness multiplies, not just 100 times, not 1000, but infinite times!"

(But you, my dear husband, you're not just handsome, you're also hot and cute.)

Vaidehi's words had an immediate effect on Viyansh, causing his cheeks to flush crimson red with embarrassment. He turned away, hiding his blushing face behind his hands as a shy smile crept onto his lips, unable to contain his reaction to her sweet words.

Vaidehi: "Areh areh patidev smile kar rahe hai toh dikha bhi dijiye apni biwi ko, aapko pata nahi hai toh bata du aapko biwi aapki smile pe jaan deti hai."

(Oh, look, my husband is smiling, so show it to your wife. You may not know, but your smile is everything to me.)

With a bashful smile still lingering on his face, Viyansh met Vaidehi's gaze, his cheeks still tinted with a faint blush. As she leaned in to kiss his forehead, he closed his eyes, savoring the gentle touch of her lips against his skin, feeling the warmth of her affection enveloping him in a comforting embrace.

Vaidehi: "I'm sorry."

Viyansh: "I'm not angry. I know you were just praising that guy, whoever he was."

Vaidehi: "Yes, I can praise him, but I only admire and love you, Ansh."

Returning her smile, Viyansh leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to Vaidehi's forehead, reciprocating the affectionate gesture with a gentle expression of his love and care for her.

Viyansh: "I too love you biwi. But abhi baatein band karo Varna gale me dard hoga."

(But stop talking now, or you'll have a sore throat.)

Gently guiding Vaidehi to stand upright, Viyansh took hold of her hands, intertwining their fingers as he looked into her eyes with a reassuring warmth

Vaidehi: "Bas ek last baat bolu?, please"

(Can I say just one more thing, please?)

Viyansh: "Kahiye"

(Go ahead)

Vaidehi: "Thank you"

Viyansh: "For what??"

Vaidehi: "For this hot view."

She spoke, adding a wink for emphasis, perhaps teasing him playfully. Viyansh's eyes widened in realization as Vaidehi's playful words and actions registered in his mind. He glanced down at himself, noticing the undone buttons of his shirt, a faint blush rising to his cheeks as he became aware of his slightly disheveled appearance. His heart skipped a beat as she kissed him tenderly on the chest, her touch tracing the contours of his abs, sending a shiver of anticipation down his spine.

Feeling a surge of warmth and desire coursing through him, Viyansh couldn't help but be captivated by her boldness and affection. However, as her hands lingered, he gently grasped them, his touch firm yet tender.

Viyansh: "Jaan yaar You pervert women."

He hastily grabbed the towel and dashed towards the washroom, leaving a laughing Vaidehi behind. Her laughter brought a sense of lightness to the moment, and he couldn't help but smile as he made his retreat.

At the dinner table,

The atmosphere at dinner was filled with warmth and joy as everyone gathered together, enjoying each other's company and the delicious food spread before them. Laughter and conversation flowed freely, creating a sense of togetherness and contentment among all who were present.

Vihaan: "Btw Dahi ek gaana sunana toh."

(By the way, how about singing a song)

Vaidehi's glare bore into Vihaan as he teased her about her sore throat, while Viyansh, Viraj, and Virat couldn't help but chuckle at the playful banter unfolding before them. Despite her annoyance, there was an underlying sense of affection and camaraderie among the siblings, evident in their shared laughter and teasing.

Vaidehi: "Ahaan bhai main aapse baat nahi karungi."

(I won't talk to you)

Vihaan: "No, please don't do this. If you don't talk to me, toh ye bachche wali awaaz kaise sununga main"

(how will I listen to this childish voice?)

Vihaan and Viraj exchanged a high-five and burst into laughter, sharing a moment of camaraderie.

Vaidehi: "Popsy, see, these guys are teasing me."

Vikram: "Ladoo do one thing, just eat your food quietly. I know you're a kid, but right now, even your voice sounds like a kid."

As Vikram's words elicited laughter from everyone, except for Vaidehi, who pouted in annoyance.

Vaidehi: "Main ab baat hi nahi karungi kisi se."

(I won't talk to anyone now.)

Vihaan: "Baat nahi karungi bol bol ke jab se aayi hai tab se bole ja Rahi hai."

( "I won't talk" is all you've been saying since you arrived.)

Vaidehi: "Ahaan bhai aapne mujhe aur tang Kiya na toh main aapke liye ladki nahi dundhungi aur aapki shadi nahi hone dungi."

(Well, if you keep bothering me, I won't find a girl for you, and I won't let you get married.)

She spoke with a smirk, redirecting the laughter away from herself and onto Vihaan's face, prompting another round of laughter from everyone.

Vihaan: "Dahi, do you only have this topic to threaten me?"

Vaidehi: "Yes."

Her excitement bubbled to the surface, evident in her demeanor and expression.

Vaidehi: "Ab bolo na karoge mujhe paresh... Uhhuuu uhhhu"

(Now, will you stop bothering me? Uhhuu uhhuu.)

Viyansh handed her a glass of water, gently encouraging her to take a sip. As she drank, he moved behind her and began to rub her back in soothing circular motions, offering comfort and support.

Viyansh: "Tum chup kyu nahi ho jati?? Vihaan is correct non stop muh chalta hai tumhara. And you Vihaan stop teasing her."

(Why don't you just be quiet? Vihaan is right, your mouth never stops.)

Vihaan: "Sorry Bhai."

Vaidehi: "Sabke sath ab aapse bhi baat nahi karungi huhh."

(I won't talk to you either now.)

Subsequently, everyone began to comfort her while continuing their dinner, but despite their efforts, she remained silent and unresponsive. Eventually, they finished their meal in silence.

Vikram: "Viyansh, take her to the room to rest. Main  haldi wala doodh bhejwata hu, uske gale ko araam milega."

(I'll send some turmeric milk. It'll soothe her throat.)

Viyansh: "Ji papa"

(Yes dad)

Viyansh led Vaidehi away with him, but as they reached the stairs, she paused and glanced back at the other family members. Then, she spoke.

Vaidehi: "I'm still not talking to any of you. Good nig... uhhuu."

Viyansh: "Yaar biwi chup ho jao ab, tumhe kaha tha shaam Tak thik ho Jana lekin nahi bol bol ke aur gala kharab kar liya hai."

(Come on, biwi, be quiet now. I told you to be fine by the evening, but you keep talking and have strained your throat.)

She let out a soft whine.

Vaidehi: "Anshh"

Viyansh: "No Ansh, chalo ab."

(Come)

Upon reaching their room, he gently guided her to sit down on the bed, ensuring her comfort and well-being.

Vaidehi: "Mujhe aapko kuch batana hai."

(I wanna tell you something)

Viyansh: "Shhh, pehle tum haldi wala dudh piogi phir Jo kehna hai kehna."

(Shhh, first, you'll drink the turmeric milk, then you can say whatever you want to say.)

There was a knock on the door, and a maid handed over a glass of turmeric milk to Viyansh. He accepted it and then promptly closed and locked the door. Passing the milk to Vaidehi, she made a series of weird faces in response to the taste.

Viyansh: "Koi bahana nahi chalega pio jaldi se."

(No excuses, just drink it quickly.)

Vaidehi: "Phir aap meri baat manenge??"

(Will you listen to me then?)

Viyansh: "Jaise tum Bina manvaye chod dogi mujhe."

(Just like you'll leave me without convincing me.)

He muttered under his breath.

Vaidehi: "Kya kaha??"

(What did you say??)

Viyansh: "Nothing, ha main sari baatein manunga pehle ise pilo bachcha please."

(Nothing, yes, I'll listen to everything. First, drink this, my dear. Please.)

Vaidehi: "Okay."

She continued to make strange faces while drinking the turmeric milk, but eventually managed to finish it nonetheless.

As they settled onto the bed, Vaidehi nestled comfortably into the curve of Viyansh's chest, her chin resting gently against his sternum as she gazed up at him with affectionate eyes. With a delicate touch, she began to play with the gold chain adorning his neck, her fingers tracing its intricate pattern.

Meanwhile, Viyansh enveloped her in a tender embrace, his arm encircling her waist in a protective hold. With his free hand, he lovingly threaded his fingers through her hair, relishing the softness of her locks beneath his touch.

Viyansh: "Kya kehna tha bolo ab."

(So, what did you want to say?)

Vaidehi: "First, promise me that you won't refuse me and won't get angry."

Viyansh: "Jaan tumpe gussa aa sakta kya mujhe?? And whether I deny you or not depends on what you're going to say."

(could I ever get angry with you?)

Vaidehi: "Actually, when we met Eklavya bhai and bhabhi, she told me about an upcoming festival, and I want to celebrate it."

Viyansh: "Bas itni si baat, isme main gussa kyu karunga and jaana you can celebrate whatever you want to who am I to deny you my queen??"

(That's it? Why would I get angry about that?)

Vaidehi: "Promise I can celebrate it??

Viyansh: Yes, I promise. But which festival is it?"

Vaidehi: "Umm vo actually Karwachauth."

Viyansh: "Ohh okay."

He spoke casually, but then quickly realized what she said.

Viyansh: "Wait, what???"

Vaidehi: "Karwachauth."

Viyansh: "The one where ladies fast the entire day without water, right?"

Vaidehi: "Wow, Ansh, you know everything. Even I wasn't aware of all these rituals."

Viyansh: "Mumma used to keep the fast for Papa. But don't even think about fasting."

Vaidehi: "Par kyuuuu"

(But whyyy?)

She let out a whine, expressing her dissatisfaction.

Viyansh: "Jaana, you don't need to starve. Your immunity is already weak, and you've had a cold and a sore throat today. There's no way you're fasting."

Vaidehi: "But Naina bhabhi said that if we fast, we don't feel hungry. Ansh mujhe life ka har ek phase, har ek festival aapke sath enjoy karna hai. Please mujhe fast rakhne dijiye na please."

(I want to enjoy every phase of life, every festival with you. Please let me fast, please.)

She began to gaze at him with puppy dog eyes, a playful yet endearing expression that she knew could melt Viyansh's resolve. while absentmindedly tracing random patterns on his chest.

Vaidehi: "Please."

Viyansh: "Okay okay fine."

Vaidehi: "Yeahh you are the best."

She spoke, licking her lips as she often did out of habit. True to form, he responded by giving her a quick peck on the lips. Blushing, she buried her face in his chest, feeling a surge of warmth. Chuckling softly, he held her close, enjoying the moment of intimacy they shared.

Viyansh: "Ab tak aadat nahi gayi tumhari and kitna sharmati hai meri biwi lagta hai mujhe bahaut intezar karna padega."

(Your shyness hasn't gone away yet, and it seems like I'll have to wait a lot.)

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she realized the implication behind his words, feeling a mixture of shyness and anticipation.

Vaidehi: "Anshhhh"

He chuckled softly, finding her reaction endearing.

Viyansh: "Relax main zindagi bhar intezar kar sakta hu agar tum mere sath ho."

(I can wait a lifetime if you're with me.)

He spoke tenderly before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead, holding her tightly in his embrace as if to reassure her of his affection and care.

Vaidehi: "You don't have to."

She murmured softly.

Viyansh: "What??"

Vaidehi: "Nothing I was saying that Naina bhabhi ne kaha ki Shringaar ka saara samaan aap mujhe laake denge karwachauth ke liye and it's on coming Friday."

(Oh, I was just saying that Naina bhabhi said you'll get all the necessary items for me for Karwachauth, and it's on the coming Friday.)

Viyansh: "Ohh ok tum mujhe bata do kya kya laana hai I'll get it."

(Just let me know what needs to be bought, and I'll take care of it.)

Vaidehi: "Par vo toh maine bhabhi se pucha hi nahi."

(But I haven't asked her about it yet.)

Viyansh: "Very good, aadha hi kaam karti ho tum."

(you only do half of the work.)

Vaidehi: "Dekhiye Ansh bhabhi ne kaha aapko samaan laana hai toh ye sab aap khud pata kijiye, aur baaki rituals kaise karni hai vo maine puch liya. Aapko toh pata hai itna chota sa dimaag hai mera main kitni baatein store karu isme???"

(Look Ansh, bhabhi said you'll get the items, so you figure it out yourself. I've asked about the other rituals. You know how small my brain is; how many things can I remember in it??)

Viyansh: "Shararat aur Masti karte waqt is chote se dimaag me sirf khurafati ideas kaise aa jate h phir??"

(How does this small brain come up with mischievous ideas when having fun??)

She let out a fake yawn.

Vaidehi: "Ohh I'm so sleepy, Ansh good night."

She put on an act of drowsiness, but true to her nature, sleep quickly overtook her. Chuckling at her swift slumber, he too succumbed to the embrace of sleep shortly after.

As the day began in its usual routine, Viyansh roused Vaidehi from her slumber, gently coaxing her awake. With a soft smile, she leaned into his comforting embrace, resting her head on his lap as she snuggled against his stomach.

However, as the morning unfolded, Vaidehi couldn't help but indulge in her usual antics, playfully protesting against the idea of taking a bath. Undeterred by her protests, Viyansh gently nudged her towards the washroom, encouraging her to begin her day with a refreshing shower.

After some time, they both emerged ready for the day ahead. As Viyansh meticulously styled his hair, Vaidehi searched through the room, her brows furrowed in concentration. Sensing her distraction, Viyansh glanced over at her with a quizzical expression, his curiosity piqued.

Viyansh: "Jaana, what are you searching for?"

Vaidehi: "My phone, Ansh. God knows where I kept it."

Viyansh: "Nothing new."

He muttered quietly to himself about her tendency to misplace things or be careless.

Vaidehi: "What??"

Viyansh: "Nothing, wait, I'll give you a call."

He took out his mobile and dialed her number. As he listened to the ringing, he realized that her phone was actually ringing behind him. Turning around, he spotted her phone lying on the dressing table, partially hidden beneath some hair accessories.

Viyansh: "God, this woman and her carelessness."

He retrieved her phone from the dressing table.

Viyansh: "Biwi, it's here."

He glanced at the name flashing on her screen and was taken aback, surprised by what he saw.

She approached him, her eyes widening in surprise, and swiftly snatched her phone from his hand, her actions revealing a sense of  secrecy.

Viyansh: "Ye.. ye kya kiya hai tumne."

(What... what have you done?)

Vaidehi: "Kya Ansh, kuch bhi toh nahi."

(What, Ansh? It's nothing.)

Viyansh: "Biwi, you saved my number as 'Mr. Hot Back,' seriously, and with a picture of my bare ba... back."

He felt shy upon realizing that she had taken a picture of his bare back. She giggled at his reaction, finding his embarrassment amusing.

Vaidehi: "So what? I have every right to take your pictures."

He blushed furiously.

Viyansh: "Shut up."

She couldn't help but giggle at his embarrassed reaction.

Vaidehi: "Achcha ok, btw, show me what you've saved my number as."

She took his phone from him, and he smiled sheepishly in response.

Vaidehi: "Seriously Ansh 'Mera bachcha' save Kiya hai aapne, and this picture? You do these things when I'm sleeping."

It turned out to be a picture of her sleeping soundly, clinging to him like a koala, with a pouty expression on her face.

Viyansh: "Ha toh meri biwi hai main kuch bhi karu."

(Well, you're my wife; I can do anything.)

They exchanged a glance and then burst out laughing together, finding humor in the playful exchange and the unexpected discovery on their phones.

Later, they joined the family for breakfast, enjoying lively conversation and laughter together. The woman who had effortlessly wrapped the entire Singhania family around her finger seemed to have forgotten her anger from the previous night, happily engaging with everyone at the table. After breakfast, they all went their separate ways to attend to their respective responsibilities and tasks for the day.

At Singhania & Co.

Viyansh's Cabin,

He was engrossed in his work on his laptop when a message from his wife popped up on his screen. Caught off guard by the unexpected message from his wife, Viyansh found himself momentarily stunned as he gazed at the mirror selfie she had sent. In the image, Vaidehi stood before the mirror, radiant in a white outfit that accentuated her slender figure. His eyes were drawn to the subtle yet alluring slit in her attire, his breath catching in his throat as he admired her beauty.

Noticing the delicate waist chain adorning her waist, his heart skipped a beat. With a gulp, Viyansh composed himself, his fingers hovering over the keyboard as he struggled to find the right words to convey his admiration.

Viyansh: "Aapke liye jaan de sakte hai toh jaan hi le lengi kya aap"

(If I can give my life for you, then you want to take it, right?)

Her cheeks flushed crimson as she received his reply, feeling a rush of warmth at his response. With a shy smile, she quickly typed out a reply to him, her heart fluttering with affection.

Vaidehi: "Ishhhh" (with a blushing emoticon)

Once again, she managed to drive him crazy with her message. Determined to reciprocate, he quickly sent another text to her.

Viyansh: "Ye Bala si khoobsurat ban kar kyu ghum Rahi hai aap Biwi?"

(Why are you wandering around like a beautiful storm, my love?)

She promptly replied to his message.

Vaidehi: "shopping".

Feeling a sudden sense of tension, he quickly dialed her number, his heart pounding as he waited for her to answer. To his relief, she picked up after just one ring, her voice on the other end soothing his nerves.

Viyansh: "bachcha please don't go anywhere alone, I'm coming wait"

Vaidehi: "Ansh, I'm not alone. Eklavya bhai and Naina bhabhi are coming to pick me up. But why do you sound so worried?"

Viyansh: "Oh, Eklavya is coming. Okay."

Vaidehi: "Yeah. Is everything alright, Ansh?"

Viyansh: "You're going shopping without me."

He began to complain, hoping to distract her mind from whatever had caused his sudden tension. His efforts were successful, as she chuckled in response.

Vaidehi: "Ha toh ab aap mujhe leke nahi jate toh main kya karu?"

(Yeah, so if you're not taking me, what should I do?)

Viyansh: "Achcha ji??"

(Oh, really?)

Vaidehi: "Haan ji"

(Yes, really)

His own chuckle joined hers.

Viyansh: "Anyways dhyaan rakhna apna and bahar se kuch mat khana, lunch ghar jaakar hi karna okay?"

(Anyway, take care of yourself, and don't eat anything outside. Have lunch only after coming home, okay?)

Vaidehi: "Aye aye captain."

Then, she received another call, this time from Naina, interrupting their conversation momentarily.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, bhabhi is calling. I'll talk to you later. Bye."

Viyansh: "Bye."

He quickly ended the call and immediately dialed Eklavya's number, perhaps needing to attend to some urgent matter.

Eklavya: "Hey buddy."

Viyansh: "What's this about shopping and all??"

Eklavya: "Naina wanted Vaidehi to join us, so..."

Viyansh: "But Eklavya, you know she's not safe outside."

Eklavya: "We can't cage her in the house, Viyansh. And you, please don't worry. I'm there with her. I'll take care of Little Bunny."

Viyansh: "Hmm. And please don't let her eat anything from outside. She had a sore throat yesterday."

Eklavya chuckled at Viyansh's concern for his wife.

Eklavya: "Come on, Viyansh, she's not a kid."

Viyansh: "Not any less than one either."

Eklavya: "Okay, she's here. Bye."

After the call ended, Viyansh resumed his work, but he couldn't shake off his worry for her. He found himself calling her every now and then, unable to fully focus on his tasks with the nagging concern in his mind.

After a few hours, Eklavya's car came to a stop at the entrance of Singhania & Co., signaling his arrival at their destination.

Vaidehi: "Dekhiye, bhai, I'm going now. And don't you dare call Ansh and inform him that I'm here. Don't spoil my surprise, okay?"

Eklavya: "You've said that ten times now. Go, please. Only your husband can handle you."

Vaidehi: "I know Ansh is very patient, caring, and very, very handsome, isn't it, bhai??"

She asked excitedly, but Eklavya's response was less than enthusiastic as he banged his head on the steering wheel in frustration. Naina couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction, finding amusement in his exasperation.

Eklavya: "Please don't start your essay on your husband again. I know he's the best. Now go, please."

Vaidehi: "Huhh, jealous. Bye, bhabhi."

She kissed Naina's cheeks mischievously, knowing it would only further irritate Eklavya. Her actions compounded his frustration, especially since Vaidehi had spent the entire time with them talking about Viyansh and showering him with praise.

Eklavya: "You little bunny"

Before he could utter another word, she dashed away from the scene, her giggles trailing behind her as she made her escape.

Naina: "I'm so happy for Viyansh bhai that he got Vaidehi. Both are just perfect for each other."

Eklavya: "Correct. I can't believe The Viyansh Singhania, known for his arrogance and angry nature, is now patiently handling this little brat."

Naina: "Oh, come on, Lavya, she's cute, not a brat."

Eklavya: "I know, and I'll protect her."

He muttered under his breath, ensuring that his words were just for himself and not meant for Naina's ears.

Eklavya: "Okay, let's go home now. You need to rest."

He steered the car back towards his house.

As Vaidehi directly entered Viyansh's cabin, the atmosphere shifted subtly. Viyansh's employees glanced up from their discussions, their attention immediately drawn to her presence in the room.

Despite the interruption, Viyansh greeted Vaidehi with a warm smile, his eyes lighting up at the sight of her. His employees couldn't help but be taken aback by the rare display of warmth from their usually stoic boss. It was a rare occurrence to see Viyansh smiling, and the unexpected sight left them momentarily stunned.

Vaidehi: "Oops, sorry. I'll wait outside."

Viyansh: "Areh nahi jaan andar aa jaiye aap."

(No, don't go. Come inside.)

Vaidehi: "But Ansh..."

Viyansh: "Guys, we'll continue this later."

As the employees nodded and began to leave, Vaidehi noticed a girl staring at Viyansh. As Vaidehi observed the girl's lingering gaze on Viyansh, a flicker of possessiveness stirred within her. With a glare directed at the intruder, she made her disapproval clear before the girl hurriedly exited the room. Vaidehi took a moment to ensure their privacy, swiftly locking the door behind the departing employees. Vaidehi then locked the door behind them and positioned herself in front of Viyansh. Just as he was about to stand up, she pushed him gently back into his seat, taking charge of the situation. Moving her hand in a circular motion around his face, she then pressed her fingers to her own temple, performing a gesture to ward off the evil eye—a traditional Indian custom meant to protect loved ones from harm. Viyansh chuckled at her actions and asked curiously.

Viyansh: "Why this??"

Vaidehi: "Dekha nahi vo ladki aapko kaise dekh Rahi thi, mujhe toh samajh nahi aata ye har kisi ko mera hi pati milta hai kya dore dalne ko."

(Didn't you see how that girl was looking at you? I just don't understand why everyone thinks my husband is up for grabs.)

She replied, keeping her hands on her waist, her stance assertive. Viyansh shook his head in response, then grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap, drawing her close to him.

Viyansh: "Forget her. Let's talk about you. How come you're here?"

This lady seriously had some disorder; her mood changed instantly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and began talking animatedly, her earlier assertiveness replaced by affection and excitement.

Vaidehi: "Actually aaj lunch maine nahi banaya toh maine socha aapko lunch pe company dedu, achcha kiya na??"

(Well, I didn't cook lunch today, so I thought I'd keep you company for lunch. Wasn't that a good idea?)

Viyansh: "Bahaut achcha kiya."

(It was a great idea.)

He said, planting a kiss on her cheek.

Viyansh: "Aur aaj Eklavya ko kaise tang kiya??"

(And how did you tease Eklavya today?)

She playfully hit him on his chest.

Vaidehi: "Kya Ansh, aapko kya lagta hai main humesha Masti hi karti hu kya??"

(What, Ansh? Do you always think I'm just joking around?)

She pouted, and he responded by giving her a gentle peck on the lips, causing her cheeks to flush with a rosy hue.

Viyansh: "Mujhe Aisa lagta nahi hai Biwi yehi sach hai ab batao."

(I don't think so because that's true, but tell me what happened.)

Her lips curved into a delighted smile, and a soft giggle escaped her lips.

Vaidehi: "we were shopping in the kids section toh maine unko giraffe cap pehna di aur picture click kar li."

(so I made him wear a giraffe cap and took a picture.)

She chuckled at her own mischief as she showed him the picture, and he laughed along with her. Then, she began recounting all the things she had done and the shopping she had indulged in, while he was completely captivated by her presence. Lost in admiration, he couldn't take his eyes off her, even as she continued to chatter away animatedly.
