In a desolate, abandoned building, the darkness enveloped a small, dimly lit room. The air was thick with silence, broken only by the occasional creak of the old structure. In the center of the room, Vaidehi sat slumped in a chair, her pallid face bearing the marks of dried blood, a testament to the ordeal she had endured. Her limp form was bound tightly to the chair, her wrists and ankles secured with rough bindings. Despite the stillness that surrounded her, her unconscious state hinted at the turmoil within, her mind shrouded in darkness as she remained unaware of her surroundings.
A voice from outside the room could be heard engaged in a phone call.
Henchman: "Sir, we have kidnapped her as per your orders."
Ritesh: "Good. Remember, nothing should happen to her until I free my daughter. Later, I'll kill her myself."
Henchman: "Sir, actually everything went according to plan. We threatened the nurse about her child, and she gave her fake information about a heart attack. This girl came out of the house, but in the process, she met with an accident."
Ritesh: "What?? How did this happen?"
Henchman: "According to the plan, we drove our car suddenly in front of her, but instead of applying brakes, this girl turned the steering wheel, and her car hit a tree."
Ritesh: "How is she now? Remember, she should not die before I get there."
Henchman: "Nothing major, Sir. Just a bruised head with a little bleeding."
Ritesh: "I'll be there by tomorrow morning."
Henchman: "Sir, should we call her husband and threaten him?"
Ritesh: "No, let them suffer. Let them feel the pain of being away from their loved ones. I'll come tomorrow and let you know. Until then, let her remain unconscious."
Henchman: "Okay, Sir."
The henchman securely locked the door of the room where Vaidehi was restrained, ensuring that she remained confined. He then motioned to some of his other goons, instructing them to keep watch over her, stationed in the corner of the room to prevent any attempts at escape.
As darkness descended upon the city, signaling the arrival of night, the hours since Vaidehi's disappearance stretched into an agonizing eternity for Viyansh. Desperation gnawed at him, fueling his frantic search for his missing wife. With each passing moment, his anxiety mounted, driving him to the brink of madness.
Eklavya, ever resourceful, took charge of the situation, tracking Vaidehi's phone to the location of the accident. With grim determination, they combed through the nearby areas, scouring every alley and abandoned building in search of any sign of her presence.
Meanwhile, Eklavya mobilized his team, ordering them to retrieve the CCTV footage from the accident site and its vicinity. Every available resource was deployed in the effort to locate Vaidehi, their collective resolve unwavering in the face of uncertainty.
Tapping into Vaidehi's and Harshvardhan's Nurse phone records revealed a sinister plot orchestrated by the kidnappers. They had coerced the nurse caring for Harshvardhan into divulging information about his health, using it as leverage to lure Vaidehi out of the safety of her home. Despite their efforts to track Ritesh's phone, they hit a dead end when it was abruptly switched off after the call with his henchmen. However, there was a silver lining in their investigation: Ritesh remained unaware of Eklavya's renewed inquiry into Vaidehi's kidnapping and accident from 14 years ago. This lack of awareness on Ritesh's part provided a strategic advantage to Eklavya and his team. With their investigation conducted discreetly, they were able to operate under the radar, moving swiftly and methodically in their pursuit of the truth and the rescue of Vaidehi.
Oberoi mansion,
Abhinav had just returned home, having gone out with Vikram in search of Vaidehi. Sangeeta rushed towards him, her eyes filled with concern and anticipation. She couldn't contain her worry any longer and urgently asked him for any updates or developments in their search for Vaidehi.
Sangeeta: "Abhinav, where is My daughter? Have you found her?"
Abhinav's solemn expression spoke volumes as he shook his head, indicating that their search for Vaidehi had not yielded any positive results. Overwhelmed by frustration and worry, he sank onto the couch, holding his head in his hands, grappling with the weight of uncertainty and fear. With tears welling up in her eyes, Sangeeta silently settled beside Abhinav, offering him her presence and support in this moment of despair. Though words may have failed them, the shared sorrow spoke volumes, binding them together in solidarity amidst the uncertainty and anguish.
Sangeeta: "Everything is repeating, Abhinav. I'm scared. Back then, I lost my son, and now, I might lose my daughter because of my own actions. I want to apologize to her. Please find her."
In the midst of their shared anguish, Sangeeta's tears flowed freely, her sorrow echoing the depths of their collective worry. Despite his own turmoil, Abhinav found himself unable to offer comfort, the weight of their mutual concern pressing heavily upon him as well.
Abhinav: "How's Papa?"
Sangeeta: "The nurse is with him. The doctors have given him an injection, and he's sleeping."
The news of Vaidehi's kidnapping took a severe toll on Harshvardhan's health, causing his condition to deteriorate rapidly. Concerned for his well-being, the doctor administered an injection to stabilize his blood pressure, striving to manage the immediate health crisis brought on by the shock and stress of the situation.
Singhania Mansion,
Mid night around 3Am
Feeling defeated after an exhaustive search yielded no clues about Vaidehi's whereabouts, everyone returned home at Eklavya's urging. Vihaan, concerned for Vikram's well-being, insisted that he eat something, mindful of the medication he was taking. Despite his own turmoil over Vaidehi's disappearance, Vihaan gently encouraged Vikram to eat, emphasizing the importance of maintaining his strength during such a trying time. Vihaan, Viraj, and Virat found themselves unable to muster any appetite. As they sat together in the living area, the absence of Vaidehi's presence was keenly felt. Memories of her laughter and playful banter echoed in their minds, a painful reminder of the void left by her absence. The once vibrant atmosphere of the house now suffocated under a blanket of silence, amplifying the weight of their concern. Viyansh's continued absence only added to the tension, his unwavering determination to find Vaidehi driving him to search every corner of the city. With each passing moment, the sense of unease grew, fueling their resolve to bring Vaidehi home safely, where her laughter could once again fill the halls with joy.
As Vikram sat lost in thought, memories of his daughter flooded his mind, each one a sweet reminder of her presence in his life. He remembered how she would scold him for forgetting his medicines, her attempts at intimidation quickly melting into adorable gestures. The way she would playfully tease and trouble him upon returning from the office, her mischievous spirit bringing joy to their home. Even now, he could hear her gentle demands for little things, a testament to her enduring affection. A faint smile graced his lips as he reflected on these cherished moments, finding solace in the love they shared.
As Vihaan sat lost in his thoughts, memories of Vaidehi flooded his mind, each one a poignant reminder of her playful and endearing nature. He remembered how she would tease him relentlessly about his marriage, her lighthearted banter bringing a smile to his face. The image of her stealing his chocolates, her mischievous antics leaving him exasperated yet amused, lingered in his mind. Despite her teasing and playful behavior, he recalled how she would always make amends by preparing his favorite food as a gesture of apology, her thoughtfulness and kindness never failing to touch his heart. A sad smile tugged at his lips as he reminisced about these moments, longing for her presence and the joy she brought into his life.
As Viraj reflected on the memories of his moments with Vaidehi flooded his mind, each one a testament to their close bond and shared mischief. He remembered their coffee dates, where they would conspire to tease Viyansh, finding joy in their playful antics. The image of them teaming up against Vihaan and Vikram to pull pranks and jokes on others brought a nostalgic smile to his face. Often, their time together would be spent brainstorming new ways to playfully annoy everyone around them, their laughter filling the air as they reveled in their mischievous camaraderie. Yet, beneath the fond memories, a tinge of sadness lingered, knowing that those moments of mischief and laughter were now tinged with the absence of Vaidehi.
Meanwhile, Virat's thoughts lingered on the sweeter moments he shared with Vaidehi, memories filled with warmth and affection. He recalled how they would often team up against Viraj, their playful banter and lighthearted antics bringing joy to their shared moments. Virat cherished the times when he could let his guard down in front of Vaidehi, embracing his inner child as she nurtured him with her maternal care and affection. As a lone tear escaped his eye, Virat was overcome with a sense of longing for the sister he held dear, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void in his heart.
Suddenly, he burst into tears, capturing everyone's attention. Viraj immediately enveloped him in a comforting hug, gently rubbing his back to offer comfort.
Virat: "bha....bhabhi maa kabbb..."
(When)
Tears welled up in everyone's eyes, but knowing Virat's emotional nature, they made an effort to compose themselves and offer support.
Feeling the weight of responsibility for his family's well-being, especially for Viyansh, Vikram knew he needed to remain strong in the face of adversity. He understood the depth of Viyansh's love for Vaidehi, recognizing that she was not just his wife but the very essence of his existence. The absence of any ransom demand or communication regarding her kidnapping only added to his apprehension. Despite his own worries, Vikram composed himself and offered support to Virat, knowing that they needed to lean on each other in this trying time.
Vikram: "Don't cry, Virat. Ladoo wouldn't want her monkey to cry beta. She's strong, I'm sure she must be fine. We'll find her soon."
Even Vikram found himself unsure of whether he was trying to console Virat or himself in that moment of emotional turmoil.
As Viyansh hurriedly entered the house, the rest of the family rose to their feet, their attention fixed on him. However, he seemed oblivious to their presence, his sole focus on reaching his room. Ignoring everyone, he dashed towards his room and swiftly locked himself inside.
Eklavya, arriving shortly after Viyansh, entered the house with a sense of urgency, his expression reflecting concern and determination.
Vikram: "Eklavya, what happened? Did you find anything?"
Eklavya: "Uncle, my team is trying to track their location, but Ritesh has switched off his phone."
Viraj: "Bhai, isn't there any other way? It's been more than 15 hours, and we still don't know where bhabhi maa is."
Eklavya: "I know, Viraj, and my team is working on it. We've implemented blockades, and every car is being checked. I'm sure they didn't take her out of the city."
Vihaan: "And what about the CCTV footage?"
Eklavya: "Because of the gas they used to make the bodyguards unconscious, the footage is not clear. But we found out it was a white car with a strange eagle-like symbol on it, so we're searching for that car."
Virat: "Bhai, please do it fast, please. Bhabhi maa is already injured."
Eklavya:" I know the situation is out of our control, but Uncle, Viyansh is not in his senses. Please look after him. He might end up doing something stupid."
Vikram: "I know, but we can't do anything right now. Only one person can give him peace, and she's not with him right now."
In Viyansh's room,
In the dimly lit room, Viyansh sat on the floor, his back leaning against the bed as he clutched Vaidehi's photo frame in his trembling hands. The room was heavy with silence, broken only by the soft sound of his stifled sobs. His eyes, red and swollen from relentless tears, betrayed the anguish that consumed him, reflecting the depths of his sorrow and despair. Each glance at Vaidehi's smiling face in the photo frame served as a painful reminder of her absence, amplifying the ache in his heart and the emptiness of her absence.
Viyansh: "Kaha ho tum bachcha?? Thik toh ho na??"
(Where are you, little one? Are you okay?)
With tender care, Viyansh caressed the photo frame, his touch gentle and reverent as he traced the contours of Vaidehi's image. Pulling the frame close to his heart, he enveloped it in a tight embrace.
Viyansh: "Janti ho na nahi reh sakta tumhare bina, tumhe dekhe Bina chain nahi aata hai mujhe Jaan please mil jao."
(You know I can't stay without you. I can't find peace without seeing you, Jaan. Please come back to me.)
Viyansh's POV,
Lost in a state of profound despair, I found myself gazing aimlessly in a single direction, tears silently tracing their paths down my cheeks. The weight of helplessness pressed heavily upon me, suffocating any semblance of hope. As time passed, the boundary between wakefulness and slumber blurred, until sleep eventually enveloped me, its merciful embrace offering a temporary respite from the turmoil within.
Abruptly, a sensation danced across my nose, as if someone were gently poking it. A smile tugged at the corners of my lips, a familiar warmth flooding my heart as I recognized the playful touch of my beloved wife, my Jaan. Despite the temptation to open my eyes and indulge in the sweet moment, I resisted, fully aware of the mischievous joy it would bring her to find me feigning slumber. I could almost hear her playful huff and the soft thud of her hand on the pillow, a silent protest to my stubbornness. Without fail, she resorts to this playful tactic whenever she seeks my attention and I playfully withhold it. Sensing her closeness, I felt her presence hovering over me, showering my face with gentle, open-mouthed kisses. Unconsciously, a smile spread across my face, betraying my attempts at feigned indifference. As I finally relented and opened my eyes, I was met with her adoring gaze, those endearing doe eyes already fixed upon me. With a playful scrunch of her nose, she spoke softly, her voice laced with affection.
Vaidehi: "Aap jage the, pareshan kar rahe the mujhe??"
(Were you awake? Were you irritating me?)
As I embraced her, my arms enveloping her petite waist, I marveled at how effortlessly she nestled into the crook of my embrace. Despite her small frame, she seemed to fit perfectly within the circle of my arms, as if she were made to be held by me.
Viyansh: "Haa mazaa aata hai mujhe tumhe pareshan karne me."
(Yes, it's fun to tease you.)
Vaidehi: "Haww Ansh kitne bure hai na aap." (Ohh, Ansh, you're so mean.)
Viyansh: "Haa par tum toh sabse achchi ho meri jaan."
(Yes, but you're the best, my love.)
With playful affection, I peppered her cheeks with tender kisses, savoring the softness of her slightly chubby cheeks that never failed to delight me. Unable to resist, I indulged in gentle nibbles, my teeth lightly grazing her skin, eliciting a soft giggle from her lips.
Vaidehi: "Ahhh Ansh kitni baar mana kiya hai na."
(how many times have I told you not to do that.)
Viyansh: "waah ji aap Puri ki puri mere uper aake let sakti hai aur main aapko kiss bhi nahi kar sakta??"
(Wow, so you can lie on top of me and I can't even kiss you?)
Vaidehi: "Aapne kiss nahi kiya you actually bit my cheeks. Now move aside."
(You didn't just kiss)
As she attempted to wriggle free from my embrace, I seized the opportunity to playfully assert my hold, gently pushing her back onto the bed with a mischievous grin. With a swift movement, I began to tickle her, eliciting a symphony of laughter and giggles that filled the room, echoing the joyous melody of our shared moments. In that precious instance, surrounded by her infectious laughter, I was reminded of the sheer delight her happiness brought me, willing to go to any lengths to prolong the chorus of her giggles, a testament to the boundless affection that bound us together.
Vaidehi: "Ahh.. An..Ansh bas my tummy is hurting."
(Bas- Enough)
With the laughter fading into a gentle symphony of contentment, I relented, ceasing the tickling and allowing a sense of tranquility to settle between us. Nestling against her, I rested my head upon her chest, listening to the rhythmic beat of her heart, a comforting melody that resonated through the quiet intimacy of our shared space. Wrapping my arms around her delicate frame, I found solace in the warmth of her presence, drawing her close as if to anchor myself in the reassuring embrace of her love.
Viyansh: "I love you Mera bachcha."
As she trailed her fingers through my hair, a gentle caress that sent tingles down my spine, I couldn't help but smile at the endearing quirk that seemed to delight her so. Perhaps it was the sensation of the strands slipping between her fingertips, or maybe it was the simple pleasure of tangling her touch with mine.
Vaidehi: "I love you Ansh."
With a soft smile gracing my lips, I leaned in to press a gentle kiss against her upper chest, a tender gesture infused with the depth of my affection. In return, she bestowed upon me a smile so radiant that I could gaze upon it for a lifetime without blinking.
Vaidehi: "Okay, now move, I need to change."
I moved away from her, and she stood up.
Vaidehi: "Ahhhh"
The moment she stood up, a hiss escaped her mouth, prompting me to swiftly get off the bed and reach out to hold her.
Viyansh: "What happened, Biwi?"
Vaidehi: "I don't know, Ansh, it hurts."
Sensing her body growing limp, I gathered her into my arms, holding her securely.
Viyansh: "Jaan?"
Vaidehi: "A...n..sh."
Suddenly, she fainted in my arms, her body going limp as I held her close.
Viyansh: "Jaannnnn."
I woke up with a start, realizing it was just a dream. However, the pain of knowing my Jaan is suffering and my own helplessness weighed heavily on my mind. I couldn't sit idle; I needed to find her.
Vaidehi 's POV,
Vaidehi: "A...n..sh."
I called out to him as I slowly opened my eyes, but my head throbbed so intensely that I could barely keep them open. The pain was excruciating, and even the attempt to open my eyes fully was a struggle. On top of that, a sharp pain in my ankle reminded me of my sprained leg. Every ounce of energy seemed to have drained from my body, leaving me utterly exhausted. All I wanted in that moment was to hide in my husband's arms, seeking the comfort and solace only he could provide. As I gradually became more aware of my surroundings, I managed to open my eyes completely, only to be met with darkness. It was then that the memory of the accident came flooding back. Then where am I now? I examined the place, realizing it was completely dark except for a sliver of moonlight filtering through a window. But wait a minuteâwhen I had the accident, it was around noon. Why is there moonlight now? Does this mean it's night? Panic began to set in as I struggled to piece everything together. Where's Ansh? And where am I now?
As the throbbing pain in my head intensified, I instinctively reached up to cradle it in my hands, only to realize with a sinking feeling that my hands were bound tightly to the chair. Panic surged within me, my heart quickening its pace as fear clawed its way into my chest. Casting my gaze downward, I discovered that my legs too were secured, exacerbating the agony of my injured ankle. A cold wave of dread washed over me as the reality of my situation crystallized in my mind. Kidnapped. The word echoed ominously in the confines of my thoughts, its implications sending shivers down my spine. Drawing upon my training as a lawyer, I couldn't ignore the chilling realization that this abduction was no random act of violence; it was a meticulously planned scheme, executed with precision and intent. This dark room was terrifying me to my core. I'm scared of dark and closed spaces because of my past experiences with my parents. Panic surged through me, and my breathing became rapid and shallow. I tried to control it, but my efforts were in vain. Closing my eyes, I focused on calming my racing heart.
"It's okay," I told myself. "Ansh must be on his way to get me out of here." The thought of my Ansh, filled me with a glimmer of hope. He must be so worried about me. No, I couldn't lose hope now. I needed to be strong for Ansh. I trusted him completely; I knew he would come and rescue me. I took a deep breath and steadied myself. I just needed to be patient. For Ansh, I could fight my fears. I had to stay strong and keep my faith in him. He would surely come for me, and I would endure this for as long as it took. For my Ansh, I would conquer my fears and survive this ordeal.
I started taking deep breaths, just the way Ansh had taught me, to cope with such situations when he wasn't with me. Gradually, this technique helped, and my breathing returned to normal. However, my headache continued to worsen with each passing second. Black dots started to appear before my eyes, and soon, darkness engulfed me completely.
Author,
Viyansh glanced at the clock, his heart skipping a beat as he registered the time: 5 in the morning. Shock coursed through him like an electric current, realizing he had slept for a mere two hours, still seated on the floor. With a sense of urgency, he scrambled to his feet, his mind racing with worry for Vaidehi. Hurriedly, he made his way downstairs, the weight of exhaustion clinging to him like a heavy cloak. Every step felt like a battle against time, each second ticking by like an eternity. But before he could reach the door, Vikram intercepted him, his presence a stark reminder of the turmoil that gripped their household.
Vikram: "Viyansh, where are you going, Beta??"
(son?)
Viyansh: "Jaan ko dundhne papa, it's been more than 18 hours, and I don't know what Eklavya is doing."
(I'm going to find Jaan)
As Vikram, Vihaan, Viraj, and Virat rose from their seats in the living area, they approached Viyansh with concern etched on their faces. Sensing his distress, they closed in around him, ready to offer support and guidance in whatever way he needed.
Vihaan: "Bhai, Eklavya bhai is on the way. He's coming. Please wait a little longer."
Viyansh: "I can't wait vihaan, Jaan takleef me hai main mehsus kar sakta hu use zarurat hai meri."
(I can't wait, Vihaan. Jaan is in pain, I can feel it, she needs me.)
Viraj: "Bhai, please eat something. You look so drained out."
Viyansh: "Are you out of your mind Viraj??? Vaha meri jaan kaha hai kis haal me hai, kuch khaya hoga bhi ya nahi kuch pata nahi, and you are asking me to have something seriously."
(My Jaan is missing, and you're asking me to eat something?)
A heavy silence fell over the room as the realization sunk in that attempting to reason with Viyansh would be futile in his current state of mind. They understood that he was singularly focused on finding Vaidehi, and no amount of persuasion would sway him from that path. They resigned themselves to waiting for news, knowing that only one person held the key to Viyansh's peace of mind. Undeterred by their silent acquiescence, Viyansh moved determinedly towards the door once more, his resolve unshaken. However, just as he reached for the handle, Eklavya strode into the room accompanied by his officers, a glimmer of hope flickering in their eyes as they brought news that could potentially lead to Vaidehi's whereabouts.
Viyansh: "What the hell are you doing, Eklavya? It's been more than 18 hours, and you guys haven't found a single clue."
He raised his voice at Eklavya for the first time, but even Eklavya understood his distress and refrained from reacting aggressively.
Despite the facade of calm professionalism that Eklavya maintained in front of everyone, beneath the surface, he was grappling with his own fear and concern for Vaidehi. He held a deep affection for her, genuinely considering her as a sister, and the thought of her in danger weighed heavily on his mind. However, recognizing the urgency of the situation and Viyansh's state of mind, he knew that he needed to maintain composure and handle the investigation with utmost care and diligence, even in the face of his own fears and uncertainties.
Eklavya: "Viyansh, we found the car through the blurred number plate in the CCTV footage. Somehow, we managed to retrieve it."
Viyansh looked at him with a glimmer of hope, reaching out to hold his hands tightly.
Viyansh: "Please take me to my Jaan, kaha hai vo??"
(Where is she?)
Eklavya: "It could be very risky to go there, Viyansh. I suggest..."
Viyansh: "Just take me there, Eklavya. I'm ready to face any risk, but nothing should happen to her."
Eklavya: "I knew you wouldn't listen. Anyway, we've tracked Ritesh's phone as well. Some of my officers are following him, and we're all heading towards Vaidehi's location."
They all settled into their respective cars and began heading towards the desired location. Vikram also took the initiative to inform the Oberois about the situation before they departed.
