Chapter 45: "Wrapped in Care"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 28206

The nurse entered the room, pushing a tray trolley. Viyansh, still seated on the stool beside Vaidehi, watched as the nurse approached. Vaidehi was propped up in bed, looking slightly curious. The nurse lifted the lid on the tray, revealing two steaming bowls of soup. Viyansh's eyes darted to the soup and then to Vaidehi. His expression quickly turned stern as he fixed her with a glare.

Viyansh: "See even doctor knows you should eat more but nahi sunti ho meri tum kuch."

(but you never listen to me.)

The nurse smiled, amused by his concern for his wife, while Vaidehi glared back at him, her eyes flashing with playful defiance.

Vaidehi: "Ho Gaya aapka?? Ab main bolu?"

(Are you done? Can I speak now?)

Viyansh: "Boliye."

(Go ahead.)

Vaidehi: "This other bowl is for you. I had asked the nurse to bring two bowls."

Viyansh: "Jaan why me I mean..?"

She looked at the nurse and said.

Vaidehi: "umm nurse you can go, Ansh khila denge mujhe."

(Ansh will feed me.)

She smiled, nodded, and left the room, giving the couple some privacy. Vaidehi cupped Viyansh's face in her hands and said.

Vaidehi: "I know aapne do dino se kuch nahi khaya hoga na, so ab hum sath me khayenge."

(I know you haven’t eaten in two days, right? So now we’ll eat together.)

Vaidehi leaned over and gently kissed Viyansh's forehead, her lips lingering for a moment. When she pulled back, a warm smile spread across her face, radiating love and gratitude.

Viyansh: "You are wrong maine khana kha liya...."

(You’re wrong. I already ate...)

Vaidehi: "Jhuth bolne ki zarurat nahi hai aap bhi jante hai aap mujhse jhuth nahi bol sakte. Aaj Tak mujhe khilaye Bina nahi khaya toh aaj kha liya hoga ye Maan lungi kya main??"

(There’s no need to lie. You know you can’t lie to me. You’ve never eaten without feeding me first, so how could you have eaten now?)

Viyansh couldn't help but smile, his heart swelling with warmth. Vaidehi always had a way of understanding him, of knowing exactly what he needed without him having to say a word.

Viyansh: 'Kaise sab pata jata hai tumhe?"

(How do you know everything?)

Vaidehi: "Vo Raaz ki baat hai aur Raaz batane ke liye I need energy but aap toh mujhe khila hi nahi rahe."

(That’s a secret. And to tell you that secret, I need energy. But you’re not feeding me.)

Vaidehi pouted, her lower lip jutting out in a way that always tugged at Viyansh's heartstrings. He couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable expression.

Vaidehi: "Kha lijiye Ansh, Varna aapke Abs gayab ho jayenge, and I can't tolerate that."

(Eat, Ansh, or your abs will disappear, and I can’t tolerate that.)

Viyansh: "Shut up yaar Biwi"

Vaidehi: "Yaha hospital me??"

(Here in the hospital?)

He shot her a mock glare, but Vaidehi couldn't help but giggle at his  expression.

Viyansh: "Sit properly."

He ensured she was seated comfortably before beginning to feed her. However, when she shot him a menacing glare, he hesitated before joining her in eating, keen to avoid upsetting his wife. In a display of being a devoted husband, he promptly complied with her silent directive. He couldn't help but smile at the thought, realizing how easily she could sway him with just a look or a pout. His greatest weakness lay in his inability to speak up in her presence when she was angry, a testament to the power she held over him. He found himself unable to deny her anything, a trait that both endeared and frustrated him. Mrs. Shorty possessed a unique talent for manipulation, effortlessly leveraging her irresistible puppy-dog expression to sway him, a tactic that seemed to affect not only him but every man in the Singhania family. In the end, they all found themselves succumbing to her desires, unable to resist her charm and influence.

No one attempted to confront her about her impulsive decision to take the bullet meant for someone else, nor did they scold her for it. There were two primary reasons for this approach. Firstly, the doctor had advised against causing her any stress or pressure, emphasizing the importance of keeping her happy for a healthy and swift recovery. Secondly, whenever they looked at her face, their hearts melted, and they couldn't bring themselves to ask her anything that might cause her pain. However, they collectively vowed to ensure the safety and well-being of the sole lady of their household, determined to protect her at all costs.

Viyansh carefully spooned the last of the soup into Vaidehi's mouth, only for her to start coughing suddenly.  Alarmed, she placed her hand on her neck, while Viyansh grew concerned and helped her drink some water aiding her as she took gulps to soothe her throat. His hand moved to her back, rubbing gently in an attempt to ease her discomfort, yet he couldn't shake the sight of tension evident on her face. Eventually, her cough subsided, but the tension lingered, prompting her to inquire, her hand instinctively moving to her neck as she sought an explanation from Viyansh.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, mera mangalsutra kaha hai???"

(Ansh, where’s my Nuptial Chain?)

She became worried because she hadn't taken it off since their marriage.

Viyansh: "Calm down Jaan, doctors ne nikal Diya tha during the treatment."

(The doctors took it off during the treatment.)

Vaidehi: "What??? Pagal hai kya vo doctors??"

(What? Are those doctors crazy?)

Viyansh: "Jaan, calm down you know it’s necessary."

Vaidehi: "No I don't know anything, aap please bataiye kaha hai mera mangalsutra?"

(Please tell me where my Nuptial Chain is.)

Viyansh: "Mere pass hi hai"

(I have it.)

Vaidehi: "Toh ab tak aap kya kar rahe the?? Pehnaya kyu nahi mujhe??"

(Then what were you doing until now? Why didn’t you put it back on me?)

Viyansh: "Bachcha, you were unconscious. How..."

Vaidehi: "Kuch bhi haa Ansh, and wait a min."

(Whatever)

As Vaidehi touched her hairline and inspected her fingers, a furrow appeared on her brow as she noticed the absence of any red marks.

Vaidehi: "Don't tell me meri mang me sindhoor nahi hai."

(Don't tell me my hairline is void of vermillion)

Viyansh: "Just relax Biwi, you are in hospital all these things are not important righ..."

Vaidehi: "Ansh please."

She gazed at him with disappointment evident in her eyes.

Viyansh: "I’m sorry. I know it really matters a lot to you, but bachcha, see, we are in the hospital right now."

Vaidehi: "Hospital me mandir hoga na Ansh?"

(Is there a temple in the hospital, Ansh?)

Viyansh: "Yeah there's one."

Vaidehi: "Abhi ke abhi jaake vaha se Sindhoor laiye aur meri mang me bhariye aur Mangalsutra bhi pehnaiye."

(Go there immediately, get sindoor, and fill my parting with it. Also, put my mangalsutra back on.)

Viyansh: "But Jaana.."

Vaidehi: "Ansh now, varna main khud jaungi lene."

(now, or I’ll go get it myself.)

Viyansh: "No, no, you wait. I’ll get it."

He rose from his seat with purpose, determined to fetch the vermillion. Understanding the profound significance these rituals held for his beloved wife, he cherished each moment of adorning her with them. Viyansh found immense pride in her unwavering commitment to these symbols of their union. Her mangalsutra, a sacred thread encircling her neck, served as a constant reminder of their bond, while the vibrant vermillion adorning her hairline bore his name, a testament to their enduring love and devotion. For Viyansh and Vaidehi both, these traditions weren't just rituals; they were cherished expressions of their marital bliss, encapsulating the essence of their relationship in tangible form. Despite being in the hospital and experiencing pain, Vaidehi's unwavering dedication to their traditions and the symbols of their marriage never wavered. As Viyansh lovingly adorned her with the nuptial chain and filled her hairline with vermillion, her smile radiated with a brightness that surpassed any discomfort she may have felt. Despite the familiarity of this daily ritual, each moment felt fresh and meaningful, as if they were experiencing it for the first time. Such was the magic of their love - it transcended the mundane and infused even the simplest gestures with profound significance.

Vaidehi: "Kaisi lag rahi hu??"

(How do I look?)

With a cute smile on her lips, Vaidehi looked up at Viyansh and posed her question. Viyansh leaned down and placed a tender kiss on her forehead before answering her with a soft smile.

Viyansh: "Bilkul meri."

(Absolutely mine.)

Viyansh couldn't help but chuckle as he observed Vaidehi's cheeks flush with a rosy hue at his simple compliment. Despite their deep connection and intimacy, her endearing shyness never failed to charm him. In that moment, he was reminded once again of the beauty and innocence that made her so uniquely captivating to him.

As the two days passed, Vaidehi found herself surrounded by the loving presence of the Singhania family, with Viyansh steadfastly by her side throughout. Each member took turns entertaining her, ensuring she was never left alone. Even Abhinav and Sangeeta made an appearance, though Vaidehi maintained her distance from them, her focus remaining on the unwavering support of her husband and the rest of the family. For Harshvardhan, seeing Vaidehi well and in good spirits brought a profound sense of relief. Knowing that she was being taken care of and surrounded by love eased his worries, allowing him to focus on her recovery with a sense of reassurance.

Today was the day of Vaidehi's discharge from the hospital. As Vaidehi eagerly anticipated her discharge from the hospital and the prospect of returning home, her heart swelled with happiness at the thought of being in her own familiar surroundings once again. Finally given the green light to consume solid food after two days of medical care, she savored the idea of indulging in a home-cooked meal.

Meanwhile, outside her ward, Abhinav, Sangeeta, and Vikram engaged in conversation. Their presence served as a reminder of the complex dynamics within the family.

Sangeeta: "Vikram Ji, kya hum Vaidehi ko apne sath Oberoi Mansion le ja sakte hai???"

(can we take Vaidehi with us to Oberoi Mansion?)

Abhinav: "Hume pata hai aap ko Darr hai ki use kahi kuch... Par humara bharosa kijiye hum apni beti se manfi mangna chahte hai. Aur papa ko bhi achcha lagega."

(We understand you’re afraid she might feel... But trust us, we want to ask our daughter for her forgiveness. And even Papa will like it.)

Sangeeta: "Aap chinta mat kijiye main Puri tarah se uska khayal rakhungi, bas kuch dino ke liye aane dijiye use."

(Don’t worry, I’ll take complete care of her. Just let her come with us for a few days.)

Vikram's expression betrayed his inner conflict. While he understood the importance of Vaidehi's parents in her life, he couldn't shake off his apprehension about sending her back to the Oberoi mansion. However, he recognized the significance of considering Vaidehi's wishes in the decision-making process.

Vikram: "Main aap logo ki baat samajhta hu, par mujhe maaf kijiye main ladoo ko aapke sath nahi bhej sakta."

(I understand your feelings, Mrs. Oberoi, but forgive me, I can’t send Ladoo with you.)

Sangeeta: "Are par ek baar.."

(But just once...)

Vikram interjected, breaking her flow of the conversation.

Vikram: "I understand your feelings, Mrs. Oberoi, but the thing is she needs to be happy to recover fast, and you know she won't be happy there. And secondly, dekhiye zara un dono ko."

(just look at those two.)

As Abhinav, Sangeeta, and Vikram observed Vaidehi and Viyansh through the peek hole of the ward door, a scene of pure happiness unfolded before them. The couple, engrossed in conversation and laughter, exchanged playful gestures that spoke volumes about their deep connection and affection for each other. Viyansh's gentle actions, braiding Vaidehi's hair, and her playful antics, making faces, painted a picture of sheer joy and contentment.

Vikram: "Viyansh ek second ke liye bhi ladoo ko khud se dur nahi Jane dega."

(Viyansh won’t let Ladoo go away from him even for a second.)

Abhinav: "Aap baat kijiye na Viyansh se ek baar."

(Please talk to Viyansh once.)

Vikram: "Main toh baat kar lu par kya Ladoo aapke sath Jana chahegi??"

(I can talk to him, but will Ladoo want to go with you?)

Neither Abhinav nor Sangeeta said anything, realizing that Vaidehi would never agree to leave with them. Disheartened, they dropped the topic.

A nurse entered her ward to assist her in changing clothes. Sangeeta also stepped inside, and Vaidehi ignored her presence.

Nurse: "I’m here to help you change your clothes."

Vaidehi widened her eyes and glanced at the nurse, clearly surprised by her sudden arrival. Sangeeta, understanding her daughter's discomfort, interjected quickly and said.

Sangeeta: "Actually, Nurse, I’ll help my daughter."

The nurse nodded and left the room. Sangeeta turned her gaze back to Vaidehi, who was watching her intently. Sangeeta offered a gentle smile before speaking.

Sangeeta: "I know you don’t like when someone touches you or helps you with clothing."

As Vaidehi lowered her gaze, a mixture of emotions welled up inside her. Despite the lingering tension between them, she couldn't help but feel a flicker of happiness knowing that her mother understood her well enough to offer such genuine support.

Sangeeta: "You were just five, jab tumne mujhe bhi mana Kiya tha tumhe taiyar karne se, my little shy baby."

(You were just five when you refused to let me help you get ready, my little shy baby.)

She felt a sense of warmth knowing that her mother still held those memories close to her heart. However, she couldn't bring herself to meet Sangeeta's gaze, perhaps reluctant to reveal the depth of her emotions and vulnerability at that moment.

Viyansh: "Jaan, I'll wait outside."

As Viyansh turned to leave, Vaidehi's hand caught his, causing him to pause and glance back at her with a mixture of confusion and concern. Sensing her intention, he waited patiently, giving her the space to express herself. With a deep breath, Vaidehi composed herself and turned her attention to Sangeeta, her gaze steady and determined.

Vaidehi: "Thank you so much, Mrs. Oberoi, but my husband will help me."

Viyansh exchanged a glance with Vaidehi, then turned his attention to Sangeeta. Sangeeta didn't betray any hint of sadness, choosing instead to maintain a composed demeanor. Deep down, though, she harbored a sense of contentment knowing that her daughter found comfort and happiness with her husband. With a gentle smile, she left the room, quietly closing the door behind her.

Vaidehi: "Ansh kya aap please meri help kar denge."

(can you please help me?)

With a tender touch, Viyansh gently cupped Vaidehi's cheeks.

Viyansh: "Jaan main kaise I mean Are you sure?"

(how can I)

Vaidehi: "Hain?? Puch toh aise rahe hai jaise pehle kabhi Kiya nahi hai ya mujhe kabhi dekha hi nahi hai."

(What? You’re asking as if you’ve never done it before or never seen me.)

He gazed at her in astonishment, momentarily taken aback by her unexpected boldness. It seemed to him that perhaps the accident had left a deeper impact on her psyche, leading to this newfound assertiveness that was unfamiliar yet intriguing.

Vaidehi: "Chaliye ab jaldi kijiye, mujhe ghar jaana hai."

(Let’s do quickly now. I want to go home.)

After some time, Vaidehi was reclining halfway on the hospital bed she exuded an air of calm despite her injuries. Dressed in a comfortable light cotton Kurti and Palazzo pants, she appeared at ease, her outfit allowing for freedom of movement and comfort. A crepe bandage encircled her ankle, providing support and stability as she recovered from her injury, while her foot rested comfortably on a soft pillow. The absence of the white bandage on her forehead signaled progress in her healing journey, replaced now by a smaller, more discreet bandage. Her hands showed no marks of ropes, indicating that she had been freed from her restraints. However, she still required proper dressing for the wound on her stomach. As the doctor carefully examined Vaidehi's reports, a sense of anticipation filled the room, with the Singhania men and Eklavya gathered around her, anxiously awaiting the verdict. The atmosphere was tense yet hopeful as everyone waited for the doctor's assessment.

Doctor: "Lagta hai aap jaldi jaldi thik hona chahti hai Mrs. Singhania."

(Looks like you’re eager to get better soon, Mrs. Singhania.)

Vaidehi: "Haa doctor uncle Varna aapko pata nahi hai Ansh mujhe kitni daat lagayenge mujhe."

(Yes, doctor uncle. Otherwise, you don’t know how much scolding Ansh will give me.)

She giggled mischievously, earning a glare from Viyansh.

Virat: "Is baat pe hum bhi aapko datenge bhabhi maa"

(We’ll also scold you on this, bhabhi maa.)

Vaidehi: "Huhh tum dono ne mujhe kuch kaha na toh Ansh mast pitayi lagayenge tumhari."

(Huh, if you guys say anything, then Ansh will beat you up.)

Viyansh: "Bilkul nahi, infact main toh Papa ko bhi bolunga tumhe daatne ko."

(Absolutely not. In fact, I’ll even tell Papa to scold you.)

Vaidehi: "Ahaan bhai dekhiye na apne Bhai ko"

(see how your brother...)

Vihaan: "Sahi toh keh rahe hai bhai, aayi badi Super women banne."

(Rightly said, bro. She’s turning into a big Superwoman.)

Vaidehi: "Popsyyy"

She let out a playful whine.

Vikram pulled her into a side hug, showing his affection and support.

Vikram: "Sab ke sab pitoge kisi ne meri ladoo ko kuch kaha toh."

(You’ll all be in trouble if someone says anything to my ladoo.)

Vihaan: "Papa aap phir iski side le rahe hai?? Not fair ha"

(Papa, are you taking her side again? Not fair, huh?)

Vikram: "I don't know anything, meri ladoo ko koi kuch nahi bol sakta."

(No one can say anything to my ladoo.)

Everyone wore genuine smiles as they observed Vaidehi's happiness and recovery. Abhinav and Sangeeta were silently present, their main concern being Vaidehi's well-being. They refrained from asking her to come with them, understanding her preference to stay with her husband and his family. They respected her decision when she refused Sangeeta's offer of help earlier, understanding that she needed her space and autonomy. As the door opened and a wardboy baught a wheelchair, Vaidehi's expression shifted to one of confusion. Surrounded by her family, who were filled with genuine smiles and happiness at seeing her well, she couldn't help but wonder about the purpose of the wheelchair.

Doctor: "Ok, now Vaidehi, it’s time for you to go home. And since you can’t walk for a few more days, we have this wheelchair for you."

Hearing the doctor's words, her smile faded, replaced by a sad expression. Sangeeta and Abhinav immediately understood her reaction. Fourteen years ago, after the accident, the doctors had prescribed a wheelchair for her to use for two weeks, and she had disliked it intensely. She now looked at Viyansh with a sorrowful face, but he responded with a reassuring smile and a comforting blink of his eyes.

Viyansh: "We don’t need this, doctor."

Doctor: "But she can’t walk, Viyansh."

Vihaan: "She has four brothers and one husband who are fully capable of carrying her. Isn’t that right, dahi?"

She nodded and managed a smile.

Vikram: "And one father as well. Even I can carry my daughter."

She giggled.

Vaidehi: "Popsy you'll Carry me?? Aap buddhe ho gaye ho"

(Popsy, you’ll carry me? You’ve grown old.)

Vikram: "Waah beta, ab Popsy buddhe ho gaye, ja tujhe Tera pati hi uthayega ab tujhe."

(now Popsy has grown old. Go, now your husband will lift you.)

He gave her a mock glare, but then both started giggling.

Doctor: "Are you guys sure you don’t want the wheelchair? You’ll have to carry her all the time."

Viyansh: "Main kar lunga doctor."

(I can manage, doctor.)

Doctor: "For these many days??"

Vaidehi: "Haa, Ansh toh vaise bhi humesha mujhe aise...."

(Yes, Ansh always carries me like this...)

She widened her eyes at her own words and rest of the family burst into laughter, while Viyansh felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him. His face turned red, clearly flustered. He couldn't help but think that the accident might have affected her mind, making her more unpredictable than ever.

Eklavya: "Vaise bhi humesha kya little bunny??"

(Always what, little bunny?)

Eklavya teased her, prompting Viyansh to glare at him.

Eklavya: "Ok ok sorry."

Vikram and Vihaan then went to complete the payment and finalize the remaining discharge formalities. Abhinav and Sangeeta stepped out, not wanting to disturb her. Eklavya also went outside to ensure their safety. Although Ritesh had been arrested and there seemed to be no immediate threat, Eklavya preferred to err on the side of caution. He had arranged for guards to be present around the hospital for the past two to three days, and now these guards would accompany them to the Singhania house as well.

Only Virat, Viraj, and Viyansh remained with Vaidehi, along with the doctor.

Doctor: "Ok, so now, you just need to take this last injection, ok?"

Vaidehi looked at Viyansh again, her expression tinged with sadness, and she gently caught his hand.

Viyansh: "Doctor Uncle, is it necessary to give an injection? Medicine se kaam nahi chalega??"

(Can’t she just take medicine?)

Doctor: "No, this is to prevent any infection, so the injection is necessary."

Viyansh nodded understandingly, then tenderly caressed Vaidehi's head, offering her silent reassurance and comfort.

Viyansh: "Just one, ok Biwi? Just the last one."

She nodded sadly, her recent experiences with injections having left her hand slightly swollen and tender from the repeated doses over the past few days. Viyansh stood by Vaidehi's side, offering his support, while Viraj and Virat remained nearby. As the doctor prepared the injection, Viyansh instinctively shielded Vaidehi's face with his stomach and gently placed his hand on her head. Closing her eyes, she winced as the doctor administered the medicine. But amidst her own discomfort, she heard another scream, causing her to tense with concern.

"Ahhhhhhh"

Both Viyansh and Vaidehi turned to see that it was Virat and Viraj who had screamed, reacting as if they felt Vaidehi's pain themselves. Surprised by their reaction, the doctor was taken aback. However, Vaidehi found the situation amusing, and seeing the doctor's shocked expression and Virat and Viraj's reactions, she couldn't help but burst into laughter. Viyansh smiled warmly at her, glad to see her laughing despite the circumstances.

Vaidehi: "Aww my cute monkeys, tum dono kyu chillaye???"

(why are you shouting?)

Both of them exchanged sheepish smiles, sharing a moment of lightheartedness amidst the tension of the situation.

Viraj: "Vo aapko bhabhi maa.."

(Because you, bhabhi maa...)

Virat: "Dard hua toh" (

If it hurts...)

She smiled, her eyes reflecting adoration as she looked at her family members. In that moment, she felt overwhelmed by gratitude, realizing just how fortunate she was to have such a loving and supportive family. She couldn't help but feel a deep sense of happiness and contentment, knowing that she was surrounded by people who cared for her deeply.

Doctor: "God, Vikram thik hi kehta hai uski puri family Nautanki hai, specially tum teeno."

(Vikram was right, his entire family is a drama, especially you three.)

Addressing Vaidehi, Viraj, and Virat, the doctor found himself met with stern glares from all three of them. Sensing their displeasure, he quickly decided it was best to make a swift exit from the room, hoping to avoid any further confrontation.

Viyansh: "Well sahi kaha aapne doctor."

(Well said)

Then the three of them glared at him. Now it was his turn to run from there.

Doctor: "Ahh, Viyansh, come, I’ll explain to you about the precautions and her medications."

Viyansh: "Yes, Doctor."

With a sense of relief, the doctor quickly exited the room, leaving the family to their own devices.

Viyansh: "Be with her, I’ll be back."

Viyansh turned to Viraj and Virat, who were still fixed in their stern glares. Sensing their unyielding disapproval, he nervously glanced at his wife, who mirrored the same expressions as her brothers. Feeling the weight of their collective disapproval, he gulped nervously before swiftly making his exit from the room. As soon as he left, the tension broke, and the mischievous trio burst into laughter, their earlier seriousness giving way to shared amusement.

Virat: "Bhabhi maa, come lie down properly."

Virat approached Vaidehi with gentle concern, offering his assistance as she settled back onto the bed. With a supportive hand, he helped her find a comfortable position, his actions reflecting the caring bond they shared.

Vaidehi: "But we’re going home, right? So why should I lie down now?"

Viraj: "Correct, bhabhi maa, but till Papa completes the formalities and bhai comes back, you can rest, right?"

Vaidehi: "But I’m fi..."

Now both Virat and Viraj fixed Vaidehi with stern, almost intimidating glares until she relented. Reluctantly, she agreed, allowing Virat to assist her as she reclined on the bed. Meanwhile, Viraj began to tenderly pat her head, his gestures filled with affection and care, akin to soothing a child. As the effects of the medication took hold, Vaidehi gradually drifted off to sleep, comforted by the presence of her loving brothers.

After some time, Vikram, Vihaan, and Viyansh entered her ward. Viyansh's face lit up with a warm smile as he gazed at her peaceful, sleeping form.

Viraj: "Bhai, cupcake toh so gayi"

(Cupcake is already asleep.)

Viyansh: "Let her rest."

Vihaan: "Bhai, let’s go. I don’t want my sister to stay in the hospital for even a second now."

Viyansh smiled softly and nodded, silently acknowledging the tranquility that enveloped Vaidehi as she slept.

Vikram: "Viraj, Virat, beta, go get the cars ready."

Viraj: "Yes, Papa."

As Viraj and Virat departed, Viyansh's protective instincts kicked in. Concerned about Vaidehi's sensitive skin and wary of any potential infections, he gently draped a shawl around her. Despite the doctor's assurances, Viyansh remained vigilant, wanting to ensure her safety above all else. With great care, he lifted her upper body, delicately adjusting her position until her face rested comfortably against his chest. Cradling her in his arms, Viyansh held her close, his protective embrace shielding her from any harm. At that moment, the doctor approached them, curious about their actions.

Doctor: "Are you sure you don’t want a wheelchair?"

Vikram: "Dekh doctor, tujhe apna dost hi Mila hai kya Teri wheel chair bechne ke liye??"

(Look, doctor, did you only get your friend to sell your wheelchair?)

Vikram couldn't resist teasing his friend about his overly protective nature, and Doctor laughed.

Doctor: "I didn’t mean that, but she should not walk for at least 5-6 days, so I was just concerned."

Vihaan: "Don't worry doctor, bhai 24 hours dahi ko aise leke ghum sakte hai, aur hum toh hai hi. We are enough for our princess."

(Don’t worry, doctor, my brother can carry her 24 hours, and we’re here too. We are enough for our princess.)

The doctor smiled and nodded in understanding, recognizing the depth of Viyansh's concern for Vaidehi's well-being.

Vihaan: "Bhai chaliye."

(Brother, let’s go.)

Viyansh moved towards the door, and Vihaan kindly opened it for him. As they emerged from the ward, Abhinav and Sangeeta greeted them with warm smiles. Sangeeta tenderly caressed Vaidehi's head, her expression filled with love and concern for her daughter.

Sangeeta: "Take care."

Viyansh nodded in acknowledgment, not wanting to appear rude, before making his way downstairs where Viraj awaited them in the car. Vihaan courteously opened the door, allowing Viyansh to guide Vaidehi inside the vehicle. Viyansh settled beside her, enveloping her in a protective embrace as they prepared to depart. Vihaan took the passenger seat, while Virat and Vikram occupied another car alongside Eklavya and his officers, ensuring their safety with the added protection.
