Chapter 52: "Festive Cheer - Bhang"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 35421

The Holi party was now in full swing as more guests arrived, filling the atmosphere with vibrant energy and festive spirit. Among the newcomers were the Oberoi family, adding to the diverse and joyful gathering. Despite the celebratory mood, Vaidehi's relationship with her parents remained strained, a lingering reminder of the past. The shadow of Ritesh's crimes loomed large over their interactions. Ritesh had been sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in Ahaan's murder, Vaidehi's kidnapping, and several other crimes uncovered during the investigation. Vihaan, with his legal acumen, had won the case decisively in just two hearings, ensuring justice was served swiftly.

Viyansh and Vaidehi respectfully approached Harshvardhan, bowing down to touch his feet and receive his blessings. Harshvardhan's warm smile and affectionate words filled them with a sense of reverence and gratitude. Next, they turned to Abhinav and Sangeeta, joining their hands in a traditional gesture of greeting.

Viyansh: "Happy Holi! Welcome to the celebration"

Viyansh said warmly, while Vaidehi echoed his sentiment, her smile bright and welcoming. The festive spirit was infectious as everyone immersed themselves in the colorful revelry. Bright powders filled the air, and laughter resonated as friends and family applied colors to each other's faces. The lawn, adorned with decorations and filled with joyous activity, became a vibrant hub of merriment. The sounds of traditional Holi songs and playful banter blended seamlessly, creating a tapestry of shared joy and celebration.

Viraj and Virat, armed with water colors and mischievous grins, chased after Vaidehi across the lawn. Her laughter rang out as she darted away, trying to evade the playful onslaught from her spirited brothers-in-law. Vaidehi's white lehenga fluttered as she ran, the vibrant colors of the water balloons splashing around her, creating a kaleidoscope of hues.

Vaidehi: "Nahi kar paoge tum dono bekaar koshish hai."

(You both can't do it, it's a useless attempt.)

Viraj: "Areh aise kaise bhabhi maa, aap bas dekhiye."

(Oh really, Bhabhi maa? Just wait and see.)

Vaidehi stood at one corner of the lawn, watching as Viraj and Virat positioned themselves at the opposite corner. Between them lay a large, pond-like water feature, specially set up for the Holi celebration. The twins mischievously filled their buckets with water, aiming for Vaidehi with playful intent. In a split second, they hurled the water towards her. However, Vaidehi quickly bent down, dodging the splash. The water sailed over her, drenching Vikram, who was standing just behind her. The sudden turn of events left Vaidehi, Viraj, and Virat momentarily shocked. But the silence was soon broken by Vaidehi's laughter. Her infectious giggles filled the air as she saw Vikram standing there, soaked and bewildered. Viraj and Virat, realizing the gravity of their unintended target, immediately began pleading with their father.

Viraj: "Bhabhi maa aaj bacha lo please."

(Sister in law, save us today, please.)

Virat: Papa, sorry papa, galti se hua.

(Dad, sorry Dad, it was a mistake.)

Vikram: "Koi baat nahi beta, aao main bhi galti karta hu."

(It's okay, come here, let me make a mistake too.)

Viraj: "Kya matlab papa??"

(What do you mean, Dad?)

With a determined stride, Vikram walked towards Viraj and Virat, who were still pleading with Vikram. Before they could react, Vikram gave both of them a playful push, sending them tumbling into the pond-like water feature. The splash was enormous, and the sight of the twins floundering in the water drew peals of laughter from Vaidehi and Vikram. Viraj and Virat, now thoroughly soaked, emerged from the water with sheepish grins.

Virat: "Bhabhi maa, humara ho gaya ab aapki baari."

(Sister in law, we're done, now it's your turn.)

Vaidehi: "No never, I don't like water."

Viraj: "Then we definitely have to play with water today."

Vaidehi: "Nooo."

As Vaidehi sprinted away, playfully chased by Viraj and Virat, she glanced over her shoulder to keep an eye on her mischievous pursuers. In her distracted state, she accidentally collided with Viyansh, but his quick reflexes allowed him to catch her just in time.

Viyansh: "Biwi yaar, tum kab sudhrogi??"

(Wife, when will you learn?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh, dekhiye na ye dono mujhpe Pani fekna chahte hai."

(Ansh, look at them! They want to throw water on me.)

Viyansh: "Ha toh Holi hai aur kya karenge??"

(Well, it’s Holi. What else would they do?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh aap bhi??"

(Ansh, you too?)

She said, her voice tinged with disappointment.

Viraj: "Ab toh aap dono gaye bhai aur bhabhi maa."

(Now both of you are done for, Bhai and Bhabhi maa.)

Viyansh: "Oye mujhpe nahi."

(Hey, not on me!)

Vaidehi: "Kyu kyu kyu nahi?? Raj, Veer inpe Pani daalo phir main kuch nahi kahungi aur tumhare sath Pani se hi khelungi."

(Why not? Raj, Veer, throw water on him and I won't say anything. I'll even play with you guys.)

Virat: "As you say bhabhs."

As Viraj and Virat smirked mischievously, Vaidehi stood a little distance away from Viyansh, watching the playful antics unfold. Without warning, the twins aimed their buckets at Viyansh, ready to splash him with water. However, at that precise moment, Eklavya happened to pass by. Reacting quickly, Viyansh pulled Eklavya in front of him, using him as an unwitting shield. The water intended for Viyansh instead drenched Eklavya, who initially took a moment to process what had just happened. Confusion registered on Eklavya's face as he realized he had inadvertently become the target of the twins' mischief. Amidst the laughter and amusement of the onlookers, including Viyansh and Vaidehi, Eklavya joined in the lighthearted moment.

Eklavya: "What the hell, Viraj, Virat?"

Viraj: "Eklavya Bhai, it’s Bhai’s fault. He dragged you into this."

Viraj managed to squeeze out between laughs, as he and Virat quickly made their getaway. Eklavya, caught off guard by the sudden drenching and now dripping wet, wasted no time in chasing after them. The scene unfolded with Eklavya in hot pursuit of the mischievous twins, their laughter echoing across the festive gathering.

Eklavya: "Aaj toh gaye tum dono."

(You two are going to get it today.)

Vaidehi found herself laughing heartily, when Viyansh suddenly intercepted her, swiftly pulling her aside. Viyansh's sudden move to pull Vaidehi aside and cage her between his arms caught her off guard, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. As she placed her hands on his chest, she looked up at him with a mixture of curiosity and affection, her laughter fading into a soft smile. His closeness sent a rush of warmth through her, their proximity intensifying the connection between them. Vaidehi could feel the steady beat of Viyansh's heart beneath her palms, a comforting rhythm that mirrored the depth of their bond.

Vaidehi: "Kya kar rahe hai Ansh?? Sab hai yaha."

(What are you doing, Ansh? Everyone is here.)

Viyansh: "Kaha mujhe toh koi nahi dikh raha."

(I don't see anyone around.)

With a playful glance around to ensure they were alone, Viyansh confirmed with a grin.

Vaidehi: "Ansh."

She cast her eyes downward, feeling shy.

Viyansh: "Now don’t disturb me. mujhe apne tarike se apni biwi ke sath Holi manane do."

(Let me celebrate Holi with my wife my way.)

Viyansh's eyes twinkled with mischief as he reached for the plate of vibrant pink colors sitting nearby. He scooped up a generous amount of the soft powder in his hands, the color standing out vividly against his fingers. Slowly, he brought his hands towards Vaidehi, who was standing before him, her white outfit a stark contrast to the vibrant hue he was holding. With deliberate slowness, he rubbed the color onto her bare waist. Vaidehi gasped at the sensation, her eyes fluttering closed as her breath hitched. The unexpected contact sent shivers down her spine, and her breathing grew heavier. Viyansh leaned in closer, his warm breath fanning her neck, sending more tingles across her skin. He pressed his lips gently against the curve of her neck, a soft, lingering kiss that made her clutch his shoulders tightly. Her fingers dug into his shirt, trying to steady herself against the overwhelming sensations coursing through her. Viyansh's other hand, still coated with pink powder, moved to her neck, tracing a path along her skin and then to her cheeks, leaving trails of color in its wake. Vaidehi felt herself being pulled closer, his strong arm encircling her waist, drawing her flush against his body. Her heartbeat quickened, the world around them fading into a blur. The only thing that mattered was the closeness, the intimacy they were sharing in that moment. His hand cupped her cheek, the color smudging slightly, and he looked into her eyes for a heartbeat before their lips met in a passionate kiss. It was a kiss filled with emotion, the kind that speaks volumes more than words ever could. They got lost in each other, the world around them ceasing to exist as they embraced the love and connection they felt for one another. The kiss deepened, becoming more fervent, more desperate. Their hands roamed, seeking to hold on to every inch of the other, trying to memorize the feel, the texture, the warmth. The pink color smeared across their faces, their clothes, becoming a symbol of the moment they shared.

On the other side of the scene, Vihaan had been on his way out of the house, his mind preoccupied with the urgency of an important phone call he needed to attend. Just as he reached the door, preparing to step outside, someone unexpectedly yanked him back, pulling him into an embrace against the door. It was Vanshika, and her sudden action caught him completely off guard. Vihaan blinked in surprise, his initial shock quickly giving way to a mix of confusion and curiosity. There stood Vanshika, with a mischievous glint in her eyes as she winked at him, her closeness pressing him against the door.

Vihaan: "Wh...what are you up to, Shika?"

As Vanshika wrapped her arms around Vihaan's neck and guided his hands to rest on her waist, a tingling sensation of closeness enveloped them both. She stood on her toes, bringing her face close to his, and gently rubbed her cheeks against his. Vihaan's breath caught in his throat at the intimacy of the gesture. The warmth of her touch and the closeness of their bodies stirred a whirlwind of emotions within him. His heart raced with a mixture of surprise, desire, and a growing sense of connection.

Vanshika: "I’m just playing Holi with you, love."

Vanshika said in a husky voice and continued rubbing Vihaan's other cheek with hers, the softness of her skin brushing against his in a playful yet intimate manner. Her hands, coated in vibrant colors, roamed across his neck and chest, leaving streaks of hues that contrasted beautifully against his skin. Vihaan, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks, gently pulled her away, his hands resting on her shoulders. He leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper, tinged with shyness.

Vihaan: "Sh...Shika, everybody is outside."

Vanshika: "Exactly, Vih, everyone is out, so no one will disturb us."

Vanshika wrapped her arms around Vihaan's neck once more, pulling him closer. She leaned in, her lips brushing softly against his forehead, then his eyes, nose, and cheeks, each kiss leaving a trail of warmth and color. As she moved towards his lips, Vihaan's heart pounded in anticipation. Just as their lips were about to meet, Vihaan found his voice, though it was laced with shyness and affection.

Vihaan: "Shika, vo....vo bah..ar sab."

(Shika, they’re...they’re all outside.)

Vanshika: "Don’t be nervous, Vih, it’s not like this is our first kiss."

Vihaan blushed at Vanshika's playful advances and shyly averted his gaze from her, his smile betraying both embarrassment and affection.

Vanshika: "Besides, it’s not like you don’t want it."

Vihaan looked at her with wide eyes, caught off guard by the intensity of her gaze. Before he could utter a word, Vanshika slammed her lips onto his, silencing any protest. His initial surprise melted away as he felt the warmth and passion in her kiss. His grip on her waist tightened, and he began responding to her kiss, their lips moving in perfect synchrony. It was a slow and gentle kiss, filled with tenderness and affection. After a while, they reluctantly pulled back, their breaths mingling in the small space between them. Vihaan's face turned a deep shade of red, and he instinctively buried his face in her neck, hugging her tightly. Vanshika chuckled softly at his shy yet endearing reaction, running her fingers through his hair.

Vanshika: "Even after 5 years of being together, you’re still so shy, Vih. This isn’t our first time."

Vihaan: "You know how I am, so don’t tease me."

He pulled back from the hug and gently kissed her forehead. She smiled, feeling the warmth of his affection wash over her. Vihaan's shyness was endearing, but what she loved most was how he always made her feel so comfortable and cherished. He had a way of ensuring that she never regretted a moment with him, always filling her heart with love and reassurance.

Vanshika: "I love you Vih."

Vihaan: "I too love you Shika."

Vanshika: "I still can't believe humari shadi hai kuch dino me."

( I still can’t believe we’re getting married in a few days.)

Vihaan gently cupped Vanshika's face in his hands, his touch tender and affectionate. His fingers brushed against her cheeks, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath his fingertips.

Vihaan: "Finally humari shadi ho Rahi hai, Shika humara sapna pura ho raha hai."

(Finally, we are getting married, our dream is coming true, Shika.)

Vanshika smiled warmly and nodded in response to Vihaan's affectionate gesture. His kiss on her forehead was a tender expression of his love and care for her.

Vanshika: "Vih, that’s my forehead, not my lips."

Vihaan: "Shut up, you insatiable woman."

Vanshika couldn't help but chuckle as she noticed the pink blush on Vihaan's cheeks. His embarrassment and shy demeanor added to the charm of the moment, making her smile with fondness at his reaction.

Vanshika: "Abhi ye haal hai toh First night pe toh sharam se pagal hi ho jayenge aap."

( If you’re like this now, you’ll go crazy with shyness on our first night.)

As Vihaan widened his eyes in shy surprise, he quickly retreated from the unexpected intimacy, feeling a rush of emotions swirling within him. Vanshika couldn't help but burst into laughter at his sudden departure, amused by his reaction yet understanding of his shy nature. However, as she watched him retreat, a fond smile spread across Vanshika's face. She reflected on their five years together, realizing how fortunate she felt to have Vihaan in her life. He had always respected her boundaries, never crossing lines of appropriateness even in moments of closeness like this one. Her heart swelled with affection for him, appreciating his gentle nature and the deep respect he showed for their relationship. In that moment of reflection, Vanshika cherished the bond they shared, grateful for Vihaan's presence and the love they had nurtured together over the years.

Vaidehi and Viyansh stood embraced in a tender hug, their bodies close and their hearts still racing from the intensity of their passionate kiss moments ago. Viyansh gently rubbed Vaidehi's back, his touch conveying comfort and affection as they lingered in the aftermath of their shared moment.

Viyansh: "Why are you so irresistible?"

Vaidehi blushed deeply, her cheeks tinted with a rosy hue as she hugged Viyansh more tightly.

Viyansh: "Aur kya keh rahi thi aap mohtarma ki humne aapki tareef nahi ki??? And I'm a kid?"

(And what were you saying, madam, that I didn't praise you??? And I'm a kid?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh, main toh mazaak kar Rahi thi na."

(Ansh, I was just joking.)

Viyansh: "But Maine toh seriously le liya na Jaan."

(But I took it seriously, Jaan.)

Viyansh met Vaidehi's puppy-dog eyes with a tender smile, captivated by the innocence and affection shining in her gaze.

Vaidehi: "Sorry."

Viyansh: "Vo main apne tarike se le lunga."

(Well, I'll take my apology my way.)

Vaidehi: "Shameless, hatiye ab., pata nahi Mera bhola bhala sharmila pati kaha gaya, jaiye leke aaiye unhe phir baat karenge."

(Shameless, move away now. I don't know where my innocent, shy husband has gone, go bring him back and then we'll talk.)

As Vaidehi pushed Viyansh away, a mixture of emotions swirling within her, he instinctively caught her hand and swiftly pulled her back towards him. She found herself enclosed between his arms once again, her back pressed against his chest, feeling the warmth and solidity of his presence. Viyansh leaned in close, his breath brushing against her ear as he spoke in a husky whisper. His voice carried a depth of emotion that resonated through her, causing a shiver of anticipation to run down her spine. The intimacy of the moment intensified as he shared his words with her, his proximity igniting a rush of feelings that she couldn't ignore.

Viyansh: "Ab jo bhi hu jaisa bhi hu tumhara hi hu Jaana, aur tumhi ne aisa banaya hai, apne pyaar se."

(Whatever I am, however I am, I am yours, Jaana, and you've made me this way, with your love.)

Blushing deeply, Vaidehi quickly freed herself from Viyansh's embrace and hastily ran away from the scene. Her heart raced with a mixture of emotions — excitement, and a hint of nervousness after the intimate exchange.

As both Vaidehi and Vihaan hurriedly fled from their separate encounters, their paths unexpectedly collided. In the rush of their movements, they bumped into each other, causing Vaidehi to stumble slightly. Instinctively, Vihaan reached out and grasped her shoulder firmly to steady her.

Vihaan: "Dahi, kabhi toh thik se reh liya kar."

(Dahi, sometimes just be steady)

Vaidehi:" Bhai aap bhi toh takraye."

(Bhai, you also bumped with me)

Vaidehi stood upright after Vihaan steadied her, and as she looked up to face him, she couldn't help but notice his flushed face. His cheeks tinged with a shade of red, betraying his emotions in that spontaneous moment. With a mischievous smirk playing on her lips, Vaidehi decided to tease him gently, keeping her hands casually tucked behind her back.

Vihaan: "What??"

Vaidehi: "Is that lipstick on your face??"

Vihaan's eyes widened in surprise. Vaidehi couldn't help but giggle.

Vaidehi: "Oh my God, bhai, what did you and Vanshika do, huh?"

Vaidehi asked, raising her eyebrows playfully as she looked up at Vihaan. Her teasing tone added to his embarassment.

Vihaan: "Shut up."

As Vihaan turned Vaidehi by her shoulders, gently guiding her towards the opposite direction, she found herself caught off guard by his sudden assertiveness.

Vihaan: "Dekh vaha snacks hai, chal tujhe kuch achcha khilata hu."

(Look, there are snacks there, come I will feed you something good.)

Vaidehi: "Areh par.."

(But...)

Vihaan: "Chal na Dahi, humne vaise bhi kitne dino se sath me baatein nahi ki na, chal ab."

(Come on, Dahi, we haven't spent time together in so many days, let's go now.)

Vaidehi: "Okay."

Vihaan and Vaidehi made their way towards the snacks counter, their steps light and filled with anticipation amidst the festive atmosphere of Holi. The counter was adorned with an array of colorful snacks, tempting treats that added to the festive spirit of the celebration.

On the other side of the gathering, most of the guests had already departed, leaving behind only the Verma and Oberoi families. Viraj and his friends were engaged in some form of activity or mischief, their laughter and banter filling the air with a lively energy. Meanwhile, Virat took on the role of a vigilant guardian, intervening and trying to rein in his friends' antics.

Virat: "Viraj Bhai aur papa ko pata chalega toh daat padegi yaar."

(Viraj, Bro and Dad will find out, we'll get scolded.)

Viraj: "Kisi ko pata nahi chalega we are not drinking anything bad Virat, bhang hi toh hai bas try kar rahe hai."

(No one will find out, Virat, we're just trying some bhang.)

Viraj and his friends had mischievously spiked 7-8 glasses of thandai with bhang, a traditional intoxicating ingredient often enjoyed during Holi festivities. He knew that their elder brother and father would be furious if they found out about this prank. Acting swiftly to prevent any further trouble, Virat decisively grabbed the tray of spiked thandai and hurried away, distancing himself from Viraj and his protesting friends. Viraj and his companions attempted to intercept Virat, perhaps with playful protests or attempts to retrieve the tray, but Virat remained resolute in his mission to avoid a potential family backlash.

Akshat (one of their friend): "Kya kar Raha h Virat gir jayegi Puri thandai."

(What are you doing, Virat? The entire thandai will be ruined.)

Karan (another friend): "Virat vapas kar chal."

(Virat, come on, give it back.)

Virat: "Noo"

Virat began to move swiftly to the other side, determined to distance himself from the potential trouble caused by his brother Viraj and their friends. As they tried to convince him to stay or reconsider, Virat remained resolute, his steps purposeful amidst the lively chaos of the Holi celebration.

Vihaan and Vaidehi were happily indulging in their snacks, chatting about various topics amidst the lively Holi celebration. As they savored the assortment of treats, they unexpectedly encountered something spicy, causing both of them to react with surprise. Vaidehi's eyes widened as she tasted the spiciness, while Vihaan's expression shifted to one of mild discomfort. They exchanged a quick glance, sharing a moment of amusement mixed with discomfort at their shared dislike for spicy food.

Vaidehi: "Ahhhh"

Vaidehi and Vihaan both began to huff and fan their mouths, clearly feeling the intense burning sensation caused by the spicy snack they had tasted. Their eyes watered slightly as they struggled with the unexpected heat.

Vihaan: "Ahhh, kya h ye it...itna teekha."

(what is this, it’s... so spicy.)

Vaidehi: "Bhai, kuch karo."

(Bro, do something.)

Vihaan, still trying to soothe the burning sensation in his mouth from the spicy snack, scanned the surroundings for water without success. His eyes then caught sight of Virat approaching, holding a tray of thandai in his hands.

Vihaan: "Chal mere sath."

(Come with me.)

Vihaan swiftly took charge of the situation, holding Vaidehi's hand as they approached Virat, who stood frozen in shock. Before Virat could react or say anything, Vihaan swiftly took a glass of thandai from Virat's tray and handed it to Vaidehi, while he grabbed another for himself. Vihaan and Vaidehi each drank their thandai in one go, seeking immediate relief from the lingering spiciness.  Virat blinked in disbelief, unable to process what had just happened. Viraj and his friends, who had been prepared for a different reaction, stood motionless, their plans thwarted by Vihaan and Vaidehi's unexpected move.

Viraj: "Aaj toh meri khair nahi hai, bhabhi maa ye pi liya ab bhai toh mujhe maar maar ke mera bharta bana denge."

(I’m in trouble today. Bhabhi maa, she drank this, now Bhai will beat me up badly.)

As Vihaan and Vaidehi found immediate relief in the thandai and enjoyed the refreshing taste, they exchanged satisfied glances, pleased with their decision to cool down with Virat's offering. Feeling refreshed, they decided to indulge in another glass each, appreciating the soothing effect it had on their palates. As they savored their second round, Viraj dashed over to Virat, vigorously shaking him to snap him out of his stunned state. Virat blinked rapidly, trying to process what had just transpired.

Viraj: "Tu kya ye serve karne khada hai yaha?? Le ja yaar ye thandai yaha se Varna hum dono pitenge aaj."

(What are you standing here for? Take this thandai away from here, otherwise we both will be beaten up today.)

Virat: "Haa..haa, and hum dono nahi sirf tu."

(Yes, yes, okay, but only you will be beaten not me)

Viraj: "Haa thik hai par ye le ja abhi."

(Yes, okay, but take it away now.)

Viraj's sudden intervention caught Vaidehi by surprise as she reached for another glass of thandai.

Viraj: "No cupcake, this is not good, don’t drink this."

Vaidehi: "No Viraj this is very very mast, I ko ye drink karna hai"

(No, Viraj, this is really good, I want to drink it.)

As Vaidehi, caught up in the effects of the bhang, started speaking a mix of Hindi and English, her words tumbling out in a playful and uninhibited manner. Viraj, recognizing the signs of the bhang taking effect, closed his eyes momentarily, inwardly preparing for the unpredictable moments that often followed.  Despite Viraj's attempt to intervene and caution her, Vaidehi's mischievous streak took over. Ignoring Viraj's warning, she pushed past him and defiantly took a half-filled glass of thandai, her playful determination evident. Meanwhile, Virat, sensing the situation unfolding, swiftly removed all remaining glasses of thandai, preventing any further indulgence in the spiked drink. Vihaan, left with a disappointed expression, stood nearby, his disappointment evident as he observed the turn of events.

Vaidehi: "Awww, koi baat no Bhai aap ye drink kar lo."

(Awww, it’s okay bhai, you drink this.)

She gave the leftover Thandai to vihaan and he drank that happily. Virat returned to find Viraj looking at Vaidehi and Vihaan with a mixture of concern and apprehension, his expression betraying a hint of fear.

Virat: "Kya hua?"

(What happened?)

Viraj: "Vahi Jo nahi hona chahiye tha."

(Exactly what shouldn’t have happened.)

Both of them got scared and looked back, but they didn't find Vihaan and Vaidehi there. They started searching for the. Meanwhile, Viyansh was also caught up in his own search for Vaidehi.

Viyansh: "Kaha chali gayi ho jaana."

(Where did you go, Jaana?)

Viyansh spotted Viraj and Virat amidst the bustling Holi celebration and hurried over to them. He caught up to them and gently placed a hand on each of their shoulders to get their attention.

Viyansh: "Heyyy, Raj, Veer tum dono ne Biwi ko dekha kya?? Kaha hai vo??"

(Heyyy, Raj, Veer, have you seen Biwi? Where is she??)

Viraj, Virat: "Hum bhi toh unhe hi dundh rahe hai."

(We are also looking for her.)

They muttered under their breath, expressing their concern or confusion quietly.

Viyansh: "Kya???"

(What)

Viraj: "Ahh, nothing, Bhai."

Virat: "Humne nahi dekha sweetiepie ko."

(We haven’t seen Sweetiepie.)

Viyansh: "It’s Bhabhi maa."

Viyansh glared at them, but this time they didn't tease him back. Then Viyansh spotted Vaidehi with Vihaan at the ice cream counter.

Viyansh: "Ahh, there she is."

Virat and Viraj's shock was palpable as they turned to where Viyansh was looking and saw Vihaan and Vaidehi enjoying ice cream. They exchanged wide-eyed glances, realizing the implication that sweet foods could potentially enhance the effects of bhang.

Viyansh approached Vaidehi with a smile, his earlier concern now replaced by a sense of relief and affection. He couldn't help but smile back as she greeted him warmly, her smile reflecting her own happiness at seeing him. Meanwhile, Vihaan and Vaidehi, having indulged in ice cream, found themselves slightly drenched—likely from the melting treat or perhaps from a playful exchange that had ensued.

Vaidehi: "Hi Ansh."

She said, still eating her ice cream.

Viyansh: "Kya socha hai jaana?"

(What are ykur thoughts, Jaana?)

Vaidehi: "Kis bare me Ansh?"

(About what, Ansh?)

Viyansh: "Bade hone ke baare me?"

(About growing up?)

Vaidehi: "Matlab??"

(What do you mean?)

Viyansh: "Ye bachcho jaise ice cream kon khata hai bachcha??"

(Who eats ice cream like children??)

Viyansh asked as he gently wiped her face with his kerchief. As he turned to Vihaan, Viyansh noticed the remnants of ice cream around his brother's lips.

Vihaan: "Bhai mujhe bhi please."

(Bhai, me too, please.)

Viyansh sensed something amiss but brushed it off as he wiped the remnants of ice cream from Vihaan's face.

Viyansh: "Tu kab se itna clumsy ho gaya Vihu??"

(Since when did you become so clumsy, Vihu??)

Vaidehi, seizing the moment with playful spontaneity, pulled Viyansh back and positioned herself in front of Vihaan, her hands firmly planted on her hips.

Vaidehi: "Bhaiii, you ne Ansh ko why bola aapka face wipe karne?? You Vanshika ko tell na. Ansh sirf me ko pyaar karte hai. "

(Bhaiii, why did you call Ansh to wipe your face?? You tell Vanshika. Ansh loves only me.)

Viyansh: "Jaan kya bol Rahi ho?"

(Jaan, what are you saying?)

Vihaan: "Bhai mujhse pyaar karte hai."

(Bro loves me.)

Vaidehi: "No, no no, Ansh sirf mujhse pyaar karte hai."

(No, no, no, Ansh loves only me.)

Vihaan: "Oye dheth foot ki ladki, bhai sirf mujhse pyaar karte hai."

(Hey stubborn girl, Bhai loves only me.)

As Vaidehi sat down on the floor and started fake crying, a wave of confusion and concern swept over Viraj, Virat, and Viyansh. Viraj and Virat exchanged a glance, their hands instinctively moving to their heads in exasperation at the unexpected turn of events. They were taken aback by Vaidehi's unusual behavior, knowing her to be spirited and playful but not prone to dramatic displays like this. Viyansh, witnessing Vaidehi's fake tears and feeling both shocked and confused, approached her cautiously. Vaidehi sniffled dramatically, her eyes darting between Viraj, Virat, and Viyansh.

Viyansh: "Jaan, kya hai ye sab??"

(Jaan, what is all this?)

Suddenly, Vihaan kissed Viyansh on the cheeks, causing Viyansh to widen his eyes in surprise.

Viyansh: "What the.."

Vaidehi's attempt to stand up with an air of anger was met with a practical difficulty, causing Vihaan to burst into laughter.

Vihaan: "See you can't do anything."

As Vihaan kissed Viyansh's cheeks once more, the playful gesture caught the attention of those around them, including Vanshika. Her confusion was evident as she observed the unexpected display of affection between the brothers. Meanwhile, the rest of the guests, including the Verma, Oberoi, and Rathore families along with Vikram, were in the process of bidding farewell. Their arrival coincided with the scene unfolding between Vihaan and Viyansh, drawing a mix of curious glances and amused smiles.

Vaidehi's emotional moment took Viyansh by surprise as she reached out to him, tears brimming in her eyes. Without hesitation, he gently grasped her hand, supporting her as she regained her footing. As soon as she stood upright, overwhelmed with gratitude and affection, Vaidehi impulsively showered Viyansh with kisses all over his face. The sudden display of affection left Viyansh blushing furiously, his face turning crimson with embarrassment. Their intimate moment unfolded in front of others, making Viyansh's cheeks burn hotter as he realized they had an audience.

Vaidehi: "Ansh sirf I ke hai, aur I ko pyaar karte hai."

(Ansh loves only me, and he loves me.)

After the initial surprise and the warmth of the moment settled in, Viyansh found himself embraced by both Vaidehi and Vihaan. Vaidehi nestled her face against his chest, seeking comfort, while Vihaan mirrored her actions by hugging Viyansh from the other side, resting his head on Viyansh's shoulder. Something clicked in Viyansh's mind as he processed the emotions of the moment. He gently placed a hand on Vaidehi's cheek, his expression softened with a mix of affection and concern.

Viyansh: "Bachcha suno."

(Listen, baby.)

She smiled innocently and gazed at him affectionately.

Vaidehi: "Sunaiye Ansh."

(Yes, Ansh.)

Viyansh: "Tumne kuch Piya hai kya??"

(Did you drink something?)

Vaidehi: "Haa mujhe chilly chilly lag raha tha toh Ahaan bhai ne mujhe thandai pilayi. It was so so yummy."

(Yes, I was feeling chilly so Ahaan Bhai gave me thandai. It was so yummy.)

Viyansh: "Teekha kyu?"

(Why spicy?)

Vaidehi: "Vo humne kuch teekha snacks kha liya tha."

(Well, we had some spicy snacks earlier.)

Viyansh: "Is it burning in your stomach?"

Viyansh's gesture of placing his hand on Vaidehi's stomach indicated a deeper concern.

Vaidehi: "Noo."

As Vaidehi stumbled, Viyansh swiftly caught her by the shoulder, steadying her with a supportive grip. Sensing her need for comfort, Vaidehi instinctively hugged him again, burying her face in his chest. Viyansh, understanding her unspoken need for support, enveloped her in his arms. Meanwhile, Vihaan, still holding onto Viyansh from the other side, remained a silent yet supportive presence. Viyansh reached out and affectionately patted Vihaan's cheek.

Viyansh: "Vihu, kya Piya hai tum dono ne??"

(Vihu, what did you both drink??)

Vihaan, looking up at Viyansh with innocence shining in his eyes, responded with a gentle smile.

Vihaan: "Virat ke hath me thandai thi bhai vahi Piya."

(Bhai, there was thandai in Virat's hand, we drank that.)

Vihaan's playful grin hinted at mischief or perhaps a light-hearted comment as he teetered, almost losing his balance. Just in time, Vanshika rushed over and caught him, preventing a fall with her quick reflexes and concern for his well-being.

Vihaan: "Shikaaaa.."

Vihaan's excited call of Vanshika's name was followed by a warm hug, illustrating his joy and affection in that spontaneous moment. Nearby, Virat and Viraj, upon hearing Vihaan's exclamation and seeing the embrace, rushed over to Viyansh, their concern piqued by the sudden commotion.

Viyansh: "Virat, kya hai ye sab??"

(Virat, what's all this??)

Virat: "Bhai ye sab Viraj ka kiya dhara hai."

(Bhai, all this is Viraj's doing.)

Viraj: "Sorry Bhai, vo hum sirf bhang try karna chahte the, Virat ne roka par tab tak cupcake aur Vihu Bhai ne..."

(Sorry Bhai, we just wanted to try bhang, Virat tried to stop us but by then Cupcake and Vihu Bhai...)

Vikram: "What nonsense, Dimaag kharab hai tum dono ka?? Bhang leke aaye tum Ghar me."

(What nonsense is this? Are you both out of your minds? Bringing bhang into the house.)

Viraj: "Sorry papa."

He lowered his head.

Vaidehi: "Popsyyyy"

As Vaidehi hurried towards Vikram, her steps quickened by a mixture of excitement and urgency, she inadvertently stumbled. Just in time, Vikram reacted with swift reflexes, reaching out to grasp her shoulders firmly but gently. His touch steadied her, preventing her from falling and ensuring she regained her balance without any mishap.

Vaidehi: "Popsy, aap mere monkeys ko kyu daat rahe ho??"

(Popsy, why are you scolding my monkeys?)

Vikram: "Harkatein hi aisi karte hai ye ladoo."

(because of their actions)

Vikram glared at Viraj and Virat sternly.

Ashwin (Eklavya's father): "Forget it Vikram, bachche hai."

(they are kids.)

Abhay (Vanshika's Father): "ha Bhaisaab Jane dijiye."

(Yes, brother, let it go.)

Viraj, Virat: "Sorry papa."

Vikram: "Last time hai ye."

(This is the last time.)

Vihaan's sudden rush towards Vaidehi led to an unexpected collision between them, causing them both to momentarily lose their balance. Fortunately, Viraj and Virat, always quick on their feet, swiftly caught Vihaan, preventing any further mishap. At the same time, Vikram's steady grip on Vaidehi ensured she remained stable and unharmed. Viyansh, arriving swiftly, moved to support Vaidehi, taking her gently into his arms or holding her by the shoulders.

Vihaan: "Dahi, ye log bahaut boring hai chal dance karte hai."

(Dahi, these guys are so boring, let's dance.)

Vaidehi: "Okay Bhai."
