Chapter 55: "Love in Every Emotion"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 41292

Three days may seem like a fleeting moment in the grand scheme of things, but for Vaidehi and Viyansh, each second dragged on, filled with longing and an aching sense of absence. Both felt the strain of being apart, their emotions a testament to the depth of their connection. Vaidehi's sadness was palpable; it clung to her like a shadow, affecting everyone around her.  Her family noticed her mood and made various attempts to cheer her up, but nothing seemed to lift her spirits. Meanwhile, Viyansh, though miles away, could sense the storm clouding Vaidehi's heart even through the pixelated screen of their video calls. Her eyes, usually so vibrant, were now dull and distant. He wished he could reach through the screen, pull her into his arms, and erase the sadness that had taken root. He redoubled his efforts at work, pushing himself to complete his tasks as quickly as possible. However, each task seemed to stretch longer than the last, and unforeseen complications kept cropping up, delaying his return. Each call was filled with reassurances and promises of being together soon, but the physical separation took its toll on both of them. They talked about their day, shared their thoughts, and tried to maintain a semblance of normalcy, but the undercurrent of longing was always present.

Today started early for Viyansh, with an important morning meeting demanding his attention. Currently, he was on a video call with Vikram, discussing specific clauses of their project. Vikram, comfortably seated in his living room, sipped his tea as they spoke.

Viyansh: "So papa, I was thinking we should negotiate about th..."

Viyansh was mid-sentence when he suddenly paused, his attention captured by the sight of Vaidehi descending the stairs. She was still in her night suit, her eyes half-closed with sleepiness, moving slowly as if drawn by an invisible thread to the living room.

Vikram: "what happened?"

Viyansh: "Ye itni jaldi kaise uth gayi??"

(How did she wake up so early?)

Vikram: "Kon?"

(Who?)

Viyansh, still looking at the space where Vaidehi had stood behind Vikram, felt a pang of longing. He gathered his thoughts and said.

Viyansh: "Papa, ye itni jaldi nahi uthti hai, aap please ek baar check Karo na kuch hua hai kya."

(Dad, she never wakes up this early. Please check if something is wrong.)

Vikram, noticing Viyansh's lingering gaze behind him, turned around and saw Vaidehi coming down the stairs. Vikram walked toward Vaidehi while still on the call.

Vikram: "Ladoo"

Vaidehi: "Good morning Popsy."

Vaidehi looked a little bit dull, her eyes reflecting her sadness and the weight of missing Viyansh. Seeing her like this sent a pang through Viyansh's heart, knowing that she was struggling with the same deep sense of longing that he felt.

Vikram: "Good morning, beta itni jaldi kaise uth gayi everything all right??"

(Good morning, dear. How did you wake up so early? Is everything alright?)

Vaidehi: "Pata nahi Popsy achanak se bahaut zor se bhook lag gayi mujhe aur nind khul gayi."

(I don't know, Popsy. Suddenly, I felt very hungry, and it woke me up.)

Vikram chuckled warmly at Vaidehi's response, while Viyansh smiled softly.

Vikram: "Kya khana hai? Parathe ha poha or anything else??"

(What do you want to eat? Parathas, poha, or anything else?)

Vaidehi: "vo Ansh ke favourite pasta salads hai na, vo khana hai."

(I want Ansh's favorite pasta salads. That's what I'm craving.)

She said excitedly, her voice betraying her enthusiasm for the dish Viyansh loved.

Vikram: "Are you sure?"

Vaidehi: "Yess Popsy."

Vikram: "Main bolta hu banane ke liye tab Tak tu baat kar."

(I'll tell them to make it. Meanwhile, you talk.)

Vaidehi: "Kisse?"

(To whom?)

Vikram handed the phone over to Vaidehi, and as she saw Viyansh on the video call, a wave of emotions washed over her.

Viyansh: "Finally tumhe bhukh toh lagi, aur healthy cheeze bhi kha Rahi ho, good progress biwi."

(Finally, you got hungry, and you're eating healthy things too. Good progress, biwi )

Upon hearing Viyansh's caring words, Vaidehi looked at him through tears that began to stream down her cheeks. Viyansh's smile faded into a concerned frown, instantly worried about her emotional state.

Viyansh: "Shh bachcha kya ho gaya? Rone kyu lagi aap?? "

(Shh, sweetheart, what's wrong? Why are you crying?)

Vaidehi: "Ans...ssh"

She was overcome with emotion, tears streaming down her cheeks as she sat down on the stairs. Viyansh's concern heightened, seeing Vaidehi like this for the first time during one of his business trips. Viyansh's heart sank as he watched her through the screen, feeling helpless at the distance separating them. He had never seen Vaidehi so visibly upset before, and it tugged at him deeply.

Viyansh: "Shhh bachcha chup ho jao, subah subah rone lagi tum."

(Shhh, sweetheart, stop crying. Why are you crying so early in the morning?)

Vaidehi: "Aaj itni shiddat se Dil chah Raha hai ke main subah aakhein kholon aur saamne aap raho."

(Today, I really wish I could open my eyes in the morning and see you in front of me.)

She said between her sobs, her voice filled with longing and sadness. Viyansh's heart ached at her words, his own voice breaking with emotion as he struggled to comfort her from afar. The distance between them felt agonizing in that moment of shared vulnerability.

Viyansh: "Mujhe bhi tumhare pass aana hai jaan but kya karu kaam hai."

(I want to be with you too, but I have work.)

Vaidehi: "Aap kyu mujhe chod ke gaye Ansh, mujhse nahi raha ja raha aapse dur, please aa jaiye na please."

(Why did you leave me, Ansh? I can't bear being away from you. Please come back, please.)

Viyansh: "Kya hua hai bachcha? Pehle toh kabhi nahi roti itna?"

(What's wrong, sweetheart? You never used to cry like this before.)

Vaidehi: "Pata nahi Ansh, I'm feeling too emotional mujhe bas aap chahiye."

(I don't know, Ansh. I'm feeling too emotional. I just need you.)

Viyansh: "Just 2 days more, jaan, phir toh aa hi jaunga."

(Just 2 more days, sweetheart, then I’ll be back.)

Vaidehi: "Phir aap nahi jaoge na mujhe chod ke??"

(Then you won't leave me again, right?)

Viyansh: "Never mera bachcha, jaunga bhi toh tumhe sath leke."

(Never, my sweetheart. Even if I go, I’ll take you with me.)

Vaidehi: "Haa ab main humesha aapke sath jaungi."

(Yes, from now on, I’ll always go with you.)

Viyansh: "Chalo ab aasu pocho."

(Come on, now wipe your tears.)

She wiped her tears, taking a deep breath to compose herself. Each wipe seemed to steady her emotions, though the ache of missing Viyansh still lingered in her heart.

Vaidehi: "I'm sorry maine aapko pareshan kar diya na."

(I'm sorry. Did I trouble you?)

Viyansh: "Hmm kiya toh, ab compensate karna padega."

(Hmm, you did, so now you have to compensate.)

Vaidehi: "Kaise karu?? Bataiye."

(How? Tell me.)

Viyansh: "Ab jab tak main aa nahi jaata tum rona nahi, aur apna achche se dhyaan rakhna okay??"

(Don't cry until I come back, and take good care of yourself, okay?)

Vaidehi: "Okay."

Finally, after wiping away her tears and collecting herself, Vaidehi managed a smile.

Viyansh: "Achcha biwi I need to go now aaj early meeting hai."

(Alright, sweetheart, I need to go now. I have an early meeting today.)

Vaidehi: "ok. All the best Ansh."

Viyansh: "Thank you Jaan, chalo tum kha lo kuch main chalta hu."

(Thank you, sweetheart. Go eat something. I’m leaving now.)

Vaidehi: "Jii bye bye."

Viyansh: "Bye."

After they hung up the call, Vikram brought Vaidehi her pasta salad. She engaged in conversation with Vikram for a while, discussing various things before they both got engrossed in their respective tasks for the day. The routine of work helped to distract her momentarily from the longing she felt for Viyansh, allowing her to focus on the present moment and the support of those around her.

As another day slipped by, the ache of missing Viyansh gnawed at Vaidehi’s heart. Their conversation over the call had only intensified her longing for him, leaving her restless and unable to find solace in sleep. Tossing and turning in bed, thoughts raced through her mind until a tentative idea began to form. The dilemma kept her awake, her heart conflicted as she debated the consequences of her next move.

Vaidehi: "Agar main aisa karungi toh kya unhe achcha lagega?? "

(If I do this, will they like it?)

She deliberated for some time, contemplating her decision, before finally picking up her phone and dialing a number. The phone rang six or seven times, and just as she was about to hang up, the other person answered the call.

Vaidehi: "Hello."

Sangeeta: "Hello beta."

Vaidehi had made the decision to call her mother, Sangeeta, even though it was late at night. On the other end, Sangeeta and Abhinav were peacefully asleep when Vaidehi's name flashed on Sangeeta's phone screen. A wave of happiness washed over her at the sight of her daughter's name, quickly followed by a pang of worry. Why would Vaidehi be calling so late? Was something wrong?

She gently nudged Abhinav awake, whispering urgently.

Sangeeta: "Abhinav, it's Vaidehi calling."

Abhinav rubbed his eyes, instantly alert. He knew this late-night call must be important for Vaidehi to reach out at such an hour. With a nod from Sangeeta, he reached over to answer the call, putting it on speakerphone so they could both hear.

Vaidehi: "Umm, did I disturb you?"

As the call connected, they could hear the slight hesitation in Vaidehi's voice, which only heightened their concern. They reassured her with gentle words.

Sangeeta: "Not at all, Beta. In fact, you called so late. Is there any problem?"

Vaidehi: "N...nahi actually aise ma...man Kiya toh call kar liya. "

(N...no, actually I just...felt like calling.)

Both Abhinav and Sangeeta were overwhelmed with happiness upon receiving Vaidehi's call. Despite the late hour and their initial concern, their hearts swelled with joy at hearing their daughter's voice. They fought back tears of relief and love, wanting to stay strong for Vaidehi's sake and not overwhelm her with their emotions.

Sangeeta: "Haa bolo na kya baat hai."

(Yes, tell me, what’s the matter?)

Vaidehi: "Umm baat nahi hai aise hi call Kiya Maine."

(Umm, it’s nothing. I just called for no reason.)

Abhinav: "Kya hua pareshan lag Rahi ho beta."

(What’s wrong? You seem troubled.)

Vaidehi: "Nahi aisa nahi hai, it's okay agar aap log busy hai toh."

(No, it’s nothing like that. It’s okay if you both are busy.)

Abhinav: "Areh nahi nahi bolo na."

(No, no, it’s fine. Tell us.)

Vaidehi: "Vo actually Ansh business trip pe gaye hai, aur mujhe ajeeb feel ho raha tha nind nahi aa rahi thi toh socha baat kar lu."

(Actually, Ansh is on a business trip, and I’m feeling strange. I can’t sleep, so I thought I’d talk.)

Sangeeta: "Achcha Shadi ki taiyari kaisi chal Rahi hai."

(How are the wedding preparations going?)

Sangeeta, sensing Vaidehi's hesitation and longing for Viyansh, tried to divert her attention during the call. Aware of the deep love between Viyansh and Vaidehi, she gently steered the conversation towards lighter topics.

Vaidehi: "Achchi chal Rahi hai, aapko pata hai sabke dresses maine hi select Kiye hai. Aur Ahaan bhai toh itne khush hai ki kya batau."

(They’re going well. Did you know I selected everyone's dresses? And Ahaan is so happy, I can’t tell you.)

As Vaidehi started detailing everything, sharing her thoughts and feelings, Abhinav and Sangeeta listened attentively, their eyes welling up with happy tears. They hung on to her every word, soaking in the sound of her voice and the connection they felt in that moment despite the miles between them. As Vaidehi continued, pouring out her heart to them, she suddenly yawned, perhaps a sign of the emotional release and exhaustion she was feeling. Her parents chuckled softly, understanding that the late hour was catching up with her.

Abhinav: "Nind aa rahi hai?"

(Are you sleepy?)

Vaidehi: "Haa par so nahi pa Rahi hu."

(Yes, but I'm unable to sleep.)

Sangeeta: "Lori suna du? Bachpan me Lori sun ke so jati thi tu."

(Should I sing you a lullaby? You used to fall asleep listening to lullabies when you were a child.)

Vaidehi: "Aap sunaoge?"

(Will you sing for me?)

Sangeeta: "Haa kyu?"

(Yes, why?)

Vaidehi: "Umm thik hai."

(okay.)

Sangeeta: "Video call kar lu?"

(Shall we do a video call?)

Vaidehi: "Okay."

Sangeeta initiated a video call with Vaidehi, and Vaidehi promptly accepted it.

Sangeeta: "Ok ab let ja araam se."

(Okay, now lie down and relax.)

Vaidehi placed her phone on the side table where she could see Abhinav and Sangeeta. With Viyansh's pillow in her arms, she lay down and hugged it tightly. Abhinav and Sangeeta smiled warmly at her, feeling a mixture of love and longing for their daughter. Sangeeta, with a tender smile, began to sing a lullaby for Vaidehi. Her soothing voice filled the video call, carrying the familiar melody that had comforted Vaidehi since childhood. As the lullaby washed over her, Vaidehi closed her eyes, feeling a sense of peace and warmth despite the physical distance between them.

Chandaniya Chhup Jaana Re

Chhan Bhar Ko Luk Jaana Re

Nindiya Aankhon Mein Aaye

Bitiya Meri So Jaaye

Hmm Mm...

Nindiya Aankhon Mein Aaye

Bitiya Meri So Jaaye

Leke God Mein Sulaao

Gaao Raat Bhar Sunaao

Main Lori Lori

Ho Main Lori Lori

Vaidehi's eyes glistened with happy tears as she listened to Sangeeta's lullaby, feeling a surge of emotions as she embraced the moment of connection with her parents. Determined to cherish the happiness of the moment, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to relax. Before long, the comforting melody and the warmth of Viyansh's pillow lulled her into a peaceful sleep. Abhinav and Sangeeta watched their daughter with tender admiration through the video call. Their hearts swelled with love and pride as they observed Vaidehi resting peacefully, her face serene in sleep. Despite the physical distance, the love and care they shared transcended through the screen, enveloping Vaidehi in a cocoon of familial warmth and support. For a while longer, they stayed on the call, simply watching over their sleeping daughter, grateful for the technology that allowed them to share these precious moments together, no matter the miles between them.

Abhinav: "Lagta hai so gayi."

(Looks like she's asleep now.)

Sangeeta: "Hmm aaj bhi bilkul bachchi lagti hai sote waqt."

(Yes, she still looks like a little child when she sleeps.)

Abhinav: "Chalo ab sone do use, rakh do phone."

(Alright, let her sleep now. Put the phone aside.)

Sangeeta: "Bilkul nahi, aap so jaiye main toh raat bhar apni bachchi ko dekhungi. Dekho kaise sukoon se so Rahi hai."

(No way, you go to sleep. I'll watch over our daughter all night. Look how peacefully she's sleeping.)

Abhinav: "Areh bhai, mujhe bhi toh dekhne do meri beti ko, aisa lag raha hai saalon baad dekh Raha hu."

(Oh come on, let me also see my daughter. Feels like I'm seeing her after ages.)

Sangeeta: "Aaj bhi vahi 2 saal ki pyari si Vaidehi lag Rahi hai."

(Even today, she looks like the sweet 2-year-old Vaidehi.)

As Abhinav and Sangeeta continued to watch Vaidehi sleep peacefully on the video call, their smiles softened into expressions of quiet contentment and love. The sight of their daughter finding solace in her sleep brought them immense joy and reassurance, soothing the ache of separation they often felt. Lost in the tranquility of the moment, the fatigue of the day eventually caught up with them. Unnoticed by either of them, their eyelids grew heavy, and before they knew it, they had also succumbed to sleep while the video call remained connected.

Midnight,

It was around 3 in the morning when Viyansh quietly opened the door to Vaidehi's room. He had noticed that the lights were on, assuming she might be awake. However, upon entering, he found her peacefully asleep. His heart swelled with love and longing as he gazed at her sleeping form. Earlier that morning, he had seen her crying during their video call, and it had deeply affected him. Unable to concentrate on his work, he resolved to wrap up his tasks as quickly as possible and return to Vaidehi. The distance between them had become unbearable, and he missed her more than ever.

As Viyansh quietly set his luggage aside, his focus shifted to Vaidehi, who was sleeping peacefully, clutching his pillow close to her. A tender smile crept onto his face as he observed her serene expression, a smile that deepened when he bent down and gently kissed her forehead. Almost immediately, a soft smile spread across Vaidehi's face, a subconscious response to his touch that warmed his heart. His gaze then fell upon her, noticing that she was wearing his hoodie as she slept. He couldn't help but chuckle softly, shaking his head in fond amusement at her endearing gesture. Despite the distance, she found comfort in wearing something that reminded her of him. Turning his attention to the side table, Viyansh noticed the phone displaying a video call. Curious, he picked it up and saw Abhinav and Sangeeta sleeping. He saw it was a video call and he understood the scenario. After disconnecting the call and feeling relieved that things were improving between Vaidehi and her parents, Viyansh set the phone aside and made his way to the washroom. The weariness from his travels weighed on him, but the anticipation of being with Vaidehi again filled him with renewed energy. Within five minutes, Viyansh returned, having changed into something comfortable. He quietly slipped into bed, sliding under the warm duvet beside Vaidehi. As he settled in, he couldn't help but smile at the sight of her sleeping form. She seemed to sense his presence even in her sleep, immediately responding as he wrapped his arms around her. Vaidehi, as if waiting for him, instinctively snuggled closer to Viyansh, pressing herself against him. He chuckled softly at her response, feeling her warmth and closeness soothing his tiredness. Without hesitation, Viyansh embraced her tightly, his heart swelling with love and contentment. In that embrace, surrounded by the quiet of their shared space, Viyansh found peace. He closed his eyes, feeling the rhythm of Vaidehi's breathing and the gentle beating of her heart against his chest. The world outside faded away as they held each other, finding solace in their reunion. Wrapped in each other's arms, they drifted off to sleep, their dreams intertwined and their hearts filled with the promise of a new day together.

As the morning light gently filtered into the room, Vaidehi slowly stirred from her sleep. As she opened her eyes, she realized she was lying directly over Viyansh, her head resting on his chest. A rush of emotions overwhelmed her as she took in the sight of him, peacefully asleep beside her. Viyansh, sensing her movement but pretending to be asleep, kept his eyes closed, a small smile tugging at his lips. He felt Vaidehi's touch as she cupped his face, her tender gesture seeking reassurance that he was really there, that this moment wasn't just a dream. Seeing his smile, Vaidehi was overwhelmed with joy. Without hesitation, she started peppering his face with kisses, planting them all over his cheeks, nose, eyes and forehead. Viyansh couldn't help but giggle at her playful affection, tightening his grip around her waist in response.

Viyansh: "Bas jaana bas, bas bhi karo."

(Alright, that's enough now.)

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close as she buried her face in his neck, tears dampening his skin. Viyansh gently stroked her head, his touch a comforting anchor amidst her tears.

Viyansh: "Kya ho gaya bachcha??"

(What happened, sweetheart?)

Vaidehi: "Pata nahi, bas Rona aa raha hai."

(I don't know, I just feel like crying.)

With a tender smile, Viyansh continued to stroke Vaidehi's hair gently, his touch conveying reassurance and love. The soft caress was a soothing balm to Vaidehi's emotions, calming her gradually as she leaned into his comforting presence.

Vaidehi: "I missed you bahaut bahaut bahaut saara Ansh."

(I missed you so, so much, Ansh.)

Viyansh: "I too missed you meri Jaan."

After some time, Vaidehi gradually stopped crying and lifted her head from Viyansh's neck. She gazed at him with eyes that held a mix of relief and adoration, grateful to be in his arms once again. Their eyes met, speaking volumes in silence about the depth of their connection and the emotions they had experienced in their separation. Viyansh returned her gaze with affection, his own eyes reflecting understanding and love.

Vaidehi: "Aap kab aaye?? Aur aap toh kal aane Wale the na??"

(When did you arrive? Weren't you supposed to come tomorrow?)

Viyansh: "Hmm main toh kal hi aane wala tha, but ab agar Mera bachcha mere liye itna royega toh main kaise vaha reh sakta tha??"

(I was supposed to come tomorrow, but if my baby is crying so much for me, how could I stay there?)

Vaidehi: "I'm sorry Ansh meri vajah se aapka kaam..."

(I'm sorry, Ansh. Your work because of me...)

Viyansh: "Sab kaam ho gaya hai, jaldi khatam karke aaya hu don't worry. "

(It's all done. I finished early and came back. Don't worry.)

She grinned brightly and pulled Viyansh into another hug, relishing the warmth of their embrace. They stayed intertwined for a while, basking in the comfort of each other's presence. However, amidst the peaceful moment, Vaidehi's stomach growled unexpectedly, breaking the silence. Embarrassed, Vaidehi hid her face in Viyansh's neck while he chuckled softly at the unexpected interruption. His laughter was gentle and affectionate, reassuring her that it was nothing to be embarrassed about.

Viyansh: "Come, let's fill your little tummy."

Vaidehi: "No aap late aaye the na aap rest kijiye main jaake kha lungi. "

(No, you came late. You should rest. I'll go and eat.)

Viyansh: "No tumhe abhi bhook lagi hai that means tum dinner thik se nahi karti ho, chalo ab main hi khilau tumhe."

(No, you're hungry now, which means you didn't eat dinner properly. Come, let me feed you.)

Vaidehi: "Areh par aap..."

(But you...)

Viyansh: "Chalo."

(Come on.)

After gently shifting Vaidehi back onto the bed where she had been lying all over him, Viyansh stood up and extended his hand to her. Vaidehi happily accepted, their fingers intertwining as they made their way to freshen up for the morning. As they headed downstairs, Viyansh noticed his father reading the newspaper in the living area. Viyansh informed Vaidehi that he would be back in a couple of minutes. He walked over to his father, likely to exchange greetings or catch up briefly, while Vaidehi headed towards the kitchen to get something to eat.

Vaidehi walked into the kitchen, her mind focused on getting something from the fridge. Unaware of a small puddle of water on the floor, she moved swiftly, intent on her task. At that moment, Virat entered the kitchen, intending to grab a glass of water. As he spotted the water on the floor, he immediately shouted out to warn Vaidehi.

Virat: "Bhabhii maaaaa"

As Virat's shout echoed through the kitchen, warning Vaidehi of the slippery floor, it was already too late. In a split second, her foot lost traction on the wet surface, causing her to lose her balance. Instinctively, her hand flew to her stomach as she braced herself for the fall, a reflex born from a protective instinct she didn't fully understand in that moment as if shielding something precious. However, before she could hit the ground, Virat reacted swiftly. He dashed forward and caught Vaidehi just in time, preventing her from falling. Viyansh and Vikram, alerted by Virat's shout, hurried into the kitchen to find Virat steadying Vaidehi. Viyansh quickly approached them, his hands instinctively finding their place on Vaidehi's shoulders.

Viyansh: "Kya hua Virat, chillaya kyu?"

(What happened, Virat? Why are you shouting?)

Virat: "Bhai, there's water on the floor, bhabhi ma abhi gir jati thi main nahi aata toh."

(Brother, there's water on the floor. Sister in law almost slipped just now. If I hadn't come...)

Vikram: "Ladoo, dhyaan kaha tha beta, dekh ke chalna chahiye na. "

(Sweetie, you should be more careful. You need to watch where you're going.)

Viyansh, Vikram, and Virat all turned their attention to Vaidehi, their concern evident as they observed her rapid heartbeat and the fear in her eyes. Vaidehi's hand remained protectively placed on her stomach, a gesture that spoke volumes despite the immediate danger having passed. Viyansh gently squeezed her shoulders, offering reassurance through his touch.

Viyansh: "Biwi???"

Viyansh, sensing Vaidehi's shock and silence, gently cupped her face in his hands. His touch was tender, his eyes searching hers for any sign of distress or discomfort.

Viyansh: "Jaan kahi lagi hai kya tumhe???"

(Jaan, are you hurt?)

Viyansh placed his hand gently over Vaidehi's hand, which was still protectively resting on her stomach. Concern etched on his face, he waited for her to respond, but she remained unresponsive, lost in her thoughts or emotions.

Vikram: "Shayad Darr gayi hogi, Viyansh ise bitha aur Pani de."

(She must have gotten scared. Viyansh, make her sit and give her some water.)

Viyansh nodded in agreement with Vikram and gently guided Vaidehi to the dining table, where he helped her settle into a chair. Virat quickly fetched a glass of water, which Vaidehi accepted gratefully, drinking it in one go to calm her nerves. As she finished the water, Vaidehi felt a sense of relief washing over her, gradually helping her regain some composure. She took a deep breath, her hands still trembling slightly, but the initial shock began to subside. Viyansh remained by her side, his presence a steady anchor of support.

Vikram: "Kya ho gaya ladoo??"

(What happened, dear?)

Vaidehi glanced at Viyansh, Virat, and Vikram, seeing the concern and curiosity etched on their faces. It was clear they were waiting for an explanation or some insight into why she reacted the way she did.

Vaidehi: "Pata nahi Popsy, bas laga jaise kuch bura hote hote reh gaya. "

(I don't know, Popsy. It just felt like something bad was about to happen.)

Viyansh: "Kuch nahi hua hai, sab tumhari carelessness hai, kaha dhyaan rehta hai yaar gir jati na abhi."

(Nothing happened. It's just your carelessness. Where were you paying attention? You almost fell just now.)

Viyansh expressed his displeasure sternly towards Vaidehi, which left her feeling deeply saddened and hurt. His scolding caused her to retreat into a state of sadness, feeling emotionally affected by his words and the tone in which they were delivered.

Vaidehi: "Sorry."

Vaidehi quietly apologized and then retreated to her room without further explanation or words. Her actions spoke volumes, indicating a mix of emotions she couldn't quite articulate at that moment.

Viyansh: "Biwi suno.."

(Wifey, listen)

Ignoring any attempts to stop her, Vaidehi left for her room. Vikram lightly tapped Viyansh on the back.

Vikram: "Kya hai, kar diya na udaas use subah subah."

(What's wrong? You've made her upset so early in the morning.)

Viyansh: "Par papa vo..."

(But dad, she...)

Vikram: "Par var kuch nahi, ja Jake mana use abhi."

(Enough now, go and console her.)

Viyansh: "Haa."

(Okay.)

As Viyansh entered the room, he smiled at the sight of Vaidehi sitting on the bed, hugging her knees tightly and staring out of the window. He closed the door softly behind him, not wanting to startle her further. Moving beside her, he sat down and gently poked her hand, trying to catch her attention. Vaidehi remained lost in her thoughts, her gaze fixed on the scenery outside. She didn't respond to Viyansh's touch, her silence speaking volumes about the turmoil within her.

Viyansh: "Jaana I'm sorry na."

Vaidehi: "Mujhe baat nahi karni"

( I don't want to talk.)

Viyansh smiled warmly and drew Vaidehi into his arms, enveloping her in a comforting embrace.

Viyansh: "I'm sorry na bachcha."

Vaidehi: "Kyu daata mujhe?? Mujhe kaha pata tha ki farsh pe Pani hai."

(Why did you scold me? How was I supposed to know there was water on the floor?)

Viyansh: "Haa, meri galti hai, mujhe maaf kardo."

(Yes, it's my fault. Please forgive me.)

Vaidehi: "Nahi meri galti hai, main kitna tang karti hu sabko, main aisi kyu hu Ansh."

(No, it's my fault. I bother everyone so much. Why am I like this, Ansh?)

Feeling Vaidehi's arms around him and sensing her begin to sob, Viyansh's confusion deepened. He held her gently, concern etched on his face as he searched for understanding in her sudden shift of emotions. As Vaidehi sobbed against his chest, Viyansh felt a pang of concern and he stroked her hair softly.

Viyansh: "Who said you bother anyone? My Jaan is the best, just the way she is."

Vaidehi: "Sachchi??"

(Really?)

Viyansh: "Muchchi jaana."

(Absolutely, my love.)

Feeling Vaidehi's sorrow, Viyansh gently kissed her forehead, offering solace and affection. She nestled closer to him, seeking comfort and warmth in his embrace.

Vaidehi: "Ansh"

Viyansh: "Hmmm"

Vaidehi: "I don't know why, but since this morning, I feel complete, like something was missing but now everything is in its place. Par jab mera pair phisla, mujhe laga kuch bura hoga, kuch kho jayega."

(But when I slipped, I felt like something bad was going to happen, like I was going to lose something.)

Viyansh: "Hota hai biwi aise kabhi kabhi, tum zyada socha mat karo. Vihu ki shadi ka na zyada stress le liya hai tumne thoda rest karlo."

(It happens sometimes, my dear. Don't overthink. You've been stressed about Vihu's wedding. Take some rest.)

Vaidehi: "Sab thik hoga na Ansh?"

(Everything will be alright, right, Ansh?)

Viyansh: "Yess meri jaan everything will be perfect."

Vaidehi: "Ansh, one more thing."

Viyansh: "Ab kya hua?"

(What now?)

Vaidehi: "Last night, I couldn't sleep. toh main unhe call Kiya tha."

(so I called them.)

Viyansh was aware of whom Vaidehi was referring to, having seen the individuals during their video call earlier. Despite this knowledge, he desired for Vaidehi to confide in him completely, to share all that was on her mind and in her heart.

Viyansh: "Unhe kise jaana??"

(Called who?)

Vaidehi: "Ummm vo.. mum...Mr and Mrs. Ob...Oberoi."

Now, she hesitated to address them as "Mr. and Mrs. Oberoi" but felt unsure about calling them "mumma papa."

Viyansh: "Ohh, so kya baat huyi?"

(Oh, so what did you talk about?)

Vaidehi: "Just normal things, phir unhone mujhe Lori gaa ke sulaya."

(Just normal things, and then they sang me a lullaby.)

Viyansh: "Ohh is it?"

Vaidehi: "Hmm, kya mera unse baat karna thik hai??"

(is it okay for me to talk to them?)

Viyansh: "Kya tumhe unse baat karke achcha laga??"

(Did you feel good talking to them?)

She nodded silently, resting her head against his chest.

Viyansh: "Then you know the answer."

Both continued to hold each other close in silence for a while longer, finding solace and comfort in their embrace. After some time, Viyansh finally spoke.

Viyansh: "Achcha bhookh lagi thi na tumhe, chalo breakfast ka bhi time ho raha hai."

(Alright, you were hungry, right? It's time for breakfast now.)

Vaidehi: "Ohh yeah, aap bhi na kaha mujhe baaton me laga dete hai."

(Oh yeah, you always distract me with your talks.)

Vaidehi abruptly rose from Viyansh's embrace and hurried to the bathroom, leaving Viyansh puzzled by her sudden departure.

Viyansh: "Ye hua kya hai Jaan ko aaj kal, kabhi bhi gussa karti hai kabhi bhi rone lagti hai."

(What's going on with my Jaan these days? Sometimes she gets angry for no reason, sometimes she starts crying.)

Viyansh considered that Vaidehi might be overwhelmed by the preparations for the wedding along with her responsibilities at the academy, leading to stress. Deciding to leave the topic there, he chose to give her space and time to manage her concerns and feelings.

As the day unfolded, Vaidehi's emotions continued to fluctuate unpredictably, leaving everyone around her unsure of how to respond. One moment she was grumpy and scolding, the next she showered Viyansh with kisses, and then she would become emotional over seemingly insignificant things, often ending in tears. Her behavior was a rollercoaster, challenging those around her to adapt to her shifting moods and follow her directives like obedient children. The atmosphere was tense yet busy with last-minute preparations for Vihaan and Vanshika's upcoming Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies. With the events scheduled for the next evening and the wedding following shortly after, there was little time to spare. Despite the urgency of the preparations, Vaidehi's unpredictable mood cast a shadow over the otherwise joyous occasion.

As the evening settled in, Vaidehi sat on the edge of their bed, her phone in hand, while Viyansh was occupied with work on his laptop on the nearby couch. The atmosphere in the room was calm, with a soft glow from the lamp casting gentle shadows. Just as Viyansh glanced at the time and decided to step into the closet, Vaidehi's phone rang. Seeing Vanshika's name on the caller ID, she quickly answered the call with a warm smile spreading across her face.

Vaidehi: "Hey Vanshika."

Vanshika: "Bhabhi, when are you coming?"

Vaidehi: "Coming? When and where, Vanshika?"

Vanshika: "Bhabhi, did you forget?"

Vaidehi: "Forget what?"

Vanshika: "It's my Hen's party today, bhabhi."

Vaidehi: "Oh no, I'm so sorry, Vanshika. I completely forgot amidst all the preparations."

Vanshika: "How could you, bhabhi?"

Vaidehi: "Relax, chill. I'll get ready quickly and be there in an hour."

Vanshika: "Okay, should I come to pick you up?"

Vaidehi: "Yes, that would be great. We can go together then."

Vanshika: "Alright, you get ready. I'll be on my way."

Vaidehi: "Okay, and the theme is still black, right?"

Vanshika: "Yes."

Vaidehi: "Alright, bye. See you soon."

Vanshika: "Bye."

As Vaidehi hung up the call with Vanshika, her thoughts gradually shifted back to the present moment. With a soft sigh, she decided to retrieve something from the closet. As she stepped inside, her eyes fell upon Viyansh, who was standing before the mirror, carefully adjusting his hair. His reflection portrayed a man dressed sharply in a white V-neck t-shirt complemented by blue denim jeans and a sleek black blazer—a combination that accentuated his handsome features. Leaning against the closet door, Vaidehi found herself admiring her husband, captivated by his effortless charm and the way the attire complemented his stature. Viyansh, catching her gaze in the mirror, couldn't help but smirk in response to her unspoken admiration. He smoothly fastened his watch around his wrist, the movement deliberate yet casual. Vaidehi remained in the doorway, a fond smile playing on her lips as she observed Viyansh preparing himself for the evening ahead.

Viyansh: "Stop ogling at me Biwi, tumhara hi hu. "

(I'm all yours.)

Vaidehi: "Janti hu mere hi hai aap, aur bahaut hot bhi hai."

(I know you're mine, and you're very hot too.)

Vaidehi's playful wink caused Viyansh to blush, a slight warmth spreading across his cheeks as he grinned bashfully in response. He shifted his attention back to his task, picking up his bottle of perfume and giving it a quick spray.

Viyansh: "Baaton me main tumse kabhi nahi jeet sakta."

(In arguments, I can never win against you.)

Vaidehi: "Toh koshish hi kyu karte hai??"

(Then why do you even try?)

As Viyansh shook his head with a fond smile, satisfied with his appearance for the evening, he turned around. At that moment, Vaidehi approached him with a soft smile, her hands moving to gently wrap around his neck. Feeling her warmth and affectionate touch, Viyansh instinctively placed his hands on her waist, drawing her closer into his embrace.

Vaidehi: "Kaha ja rahe hai itne hot and sexy ban ke??"

(Where are you going all hot and sexy?)

Viyansh: "Bataya toh tha Jaana, aaj Vihu ki bachelors party hai na."

(I told you, Jaana, it's Vihu's bachelor's party today.)

Vaidehi: "Ohh yeah."

Viyansh: "hadd hai, tumhara pati itna hot and handsome ban ke bachelor's party me ja raha hai toh tumhe jalan nahi ho rahi???"

(Seriously, your husband is going to a bachelor's party looking so hot and handsome, and you're not jealous?)

Vaidehi affectionately rubbed her nose against Viyansh's, a playful and intimate gesture between them.

Vaidehi: "Ji nahi, kyuki mere usi hot and handsome pati ne abhi abhi kaha ki vo sirf mera hai toh jalan kaisi??"

(No, because my hot and handsome husband just said he's only mine. So why would I be jealous?)

With a smile that reflected both tenderness and gratitude, Viyansh gazed into Vaidehi's eyes, touched by her unwavering trust and affection. He gently leaned forward and pressed a loving kiss on her forehead, a gesture filled with reassurance and love.

Viyansh: "I love you."

Vaidehi: "I know."

Vaidehi spoke gently and playfully pushed Viyansh away, heading towards her wardrobe.

Viyansh: "Heyy, jawab kon dega??"

(Heyy, who will answer that?)

Vaidehi: "Kiska jawab Ansh ji?"

(Whose answer, Mr. Ansh?)

As Vaidehi busied herself searching through her wardrobe, Viyansh approached her quietly from behind. With a gentle smile on his face, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close into a warm embrace.

Viyansh: "Mere I love you ka jawab biwi jii."

(The answer to my "I love you," Biwi ji.)

Vaidehi: "Aapko pata nahi hai kya??"

(Don't you know?)

Viyansh: "Biwiiii"

Vaidehi giggled softly, feeling playful and happy in Viyansh's embrace.

Vaidehi: "I love you Ansh."

He tenderly kissed the side of her head, showing his affection in a gentle and caring manner.

Viyansh: "Okay main chalta hu, 10-11 baje tak vapas aa jaunga."

(Okay, I'm going now. I'll be back by 10-11.)

Vaidehi: "Main bhi."

(Me too.)

Viyansh: "Tum bhi?? Tum kaha ja Rahi ho??"

(You too? Where are you going?)

Viyansh asked gently, turning Vaidehi to face him fully within the embrace of his arms.

Vaidehi: "Vanshika ki hen's party hai aaj usme, bhul gayi thi main Vanshi ne abhi call karke yaad dilaya."

(It's Vanshika's hen party today. I forgot and she just reminded me.)

Viyansh: "Want me to drop you?"

Vaidehi: "No, Vanshi is coming to pick me up."

Viyansh: "Shall I come to pick up my wife after the party?"

Her giggle echoed softly in the room.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, jaiye aur Enjoy kijiye main chali bhi jaungi aur aa bhi jaungi. Jaiye ab"

(Ansh, go and enjoy. I'll go and come back. Go now.)

Viyansh: "Okay, but khayal rakhna aur kuch spicy mat khana."

(Okay, but take care and don't eat anything too spicy.)

Vaidehi: "Aye aye pati parmeshwar."

Viyansh: "Bye bye Patni jii."

Both of them chuckled softly, sharing a moment of light-heartedness. Viyansh continued to hold her close, savoring the warmth and closeness between them.

Vaidehi: "Kya hua, jaiye bhi."

(What happened? Go.)

Viyansh: "Tumhe chod ke Jane ka man nahi hai, subah hi toh aaya hu."

(I don't feel like leaving you. I just came back this morning.)

Vaidehi: "Actually jitne hot aap lag rahe hai, man toh mera bhi kuch aur hai."

(Actually, seeing you looking so hot, I feel like doing something else.)

Viyansh's eyes sparkled with happiness as Vaidehi playfully winked at him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Viyansh: "So let's cancel our plans."

She giggled.

Vaidehi: "Vanshi, ko promise nahi kiya hota toh for sure, but..."

(If I hadn't promised Vanshi, for sure. But...)

Viyansh: "Biwi please na yaaarrr"

He made a playful baby face and pouted, eliciting a sweet response from Vaidehi who pecked his pout affectionately.

Vaidehi: "Raat tak aajayenge na hum vapas, uske baad aapke sath hi rahungi par abhi please jaane dijiye."

(We'll be back by tonight, and then I'll be with you. But for now, please let me go.)

Viyansh: "Okay."

She smiled warmly as Viyansh kissed her forehead lovingly.

Viyansh: "Chalo bye bye."

Vaidehi: "Bye."

As Viyansh bid Vaidehi goodbye and left, Vaidehi proceeded to get ready for the evening's event. She chose a stunning black saree with a sleeveless blouse, complementing it with carefully selected accessories. Once dressed, she admired her reflection and decided to capture the moment to share with Viyansh. With a smile on her face, Vaidehi took a picture of herself and sent it to Viyansh. Meanwhile, Viyansh was on his way, perhaps still lost in thoughts of their earlier moments together. When his phone signaled the arrival of Vaidehi's message, he eagerly opened it. As the image of Vaidehi in her black saree appeared on his screen, Viyansh couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration and desire. His breath caught in his throat, and he found himself momentarily stunned by her beauty. The sight of his wife, elegant and captivating in the black saree, stirred emotions within him, leaving him breathless. His throat felt dry as he tried to compose himself, realizing anew the depth of his love and attraction for Vaidehi.

With Vanshika's arrival, Vaidehi and she departed together, heading towards their destination for the evening's event. As they journeyed, they shared laughter and conversation, enjoying each other's company and the anticipation of the celebrations ahead.

In the car, Vaidehi and Vanshika discussed the upcoming Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies, exchanging ideas and plans while catching up on family news and updates.
