Chapter 70: "Little Jaan's Arrival"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 60472

Two months had flown by, and Vaidehi was now heavily pregnant at nine months, while Vanshika was seven months along. The Singhania family had recently celebrated Vanshika's "Godhbharai" (Baby shower) with great enthusiasm. As the due dates approached, the Singhania household became a hub of activity and attentiveness. Vanshika, known for her clumsiness and reluctance to follow advice, required constant supervision, and Vaidehi’s delivery date was just days away. With the delivery date approaching fast, the family’s attention has shifted to ensuring everything is ready for the big day. Viyansh, ever the attentive husband, has meticulously packed Vaidehi’s hospital bag, filled with all the essentials, and perhaps a few extras to ensure her comfort. Her hospital bed is reserved at one of the most reputed hospitals, a facility known for its top-notch care, and where the number one gynaecologist, recommended by Naina, is overseeing both Vaidehi and Vanshika's pregnancies. In preparation for the new arrivals, Vihaan and Viyansh had meticulously prepared the nursery for their babies. Instead of hiring designers or carpenters, the Singhania siblings took on the project themselves, infusing it with a personal touch. Vaidehi and Vanshika poured their creativity into the design, envisioning a space that would be both comforting and stimulating for their babies. The execution was left to the capable hands of Viyansh, Vihaan, Viraj, and Virat, who worked tirelessly to bring the vision to life. The result is a nursery that radiates warmth and love, a true testament to the bond the family shares. Now, as they await the arrival of the little ones, the Singhanias are more united than ever, their hearts filled with excitement and nervous anticipation. The next few days will be crucial, but with the love and support surrounding Vaidehi and Vanshika, the family is ready to welcome their new bundles of joy into the world. Their collective efforts and dedication created an atmosphere of love and support, making the waiting period more manageable and filled with warmth.

On a calm weekend, the Singhania household was bustling with the unique cravings of the pregnant ladies. Vanshika was yearning for some sweets, while Vaidehi craved her favorite avocado gravy pasta, specifically made by her husband. To satisfy their wives' cravings, Vihaan and Viyansh set off on their respective missions—Vihaan to find the perfect sweets for Vanshika and Viyansh to gather freshest ingredients for Vaidehi's pasta. The house, momentarily quiet without the two elder brothers, seemed peaceful. But little did anyone know that this calm was merely the prelude to a storm—one that would be stirred up by the mischievous younger brothers, Viraj and Virat. Their actions, whether intentional or a result of youthful exuberance, were about to turn the day on its head, catching everyone, especially Vihaan and Viyansh, completely off guard.

As Viyansh and Vihaan returned home, they coincidentally arrived at the same time, each carrying their respective items to satisfy their wives' cravings. Entering the living room, they were greeted by the sight of Virat and Viraj lounging on the couch, seemingly engrossed in a video playing on the TV. But something felt off. As soon as the younger brothers noticed their arrival, they exchanged a mischievous glance and smirked—a look that immediately set off alarm bells in the minds of Viyansh and Vihaan. The smirk was all too familiar; it was the same one that had preceded countless pranks and unexpected situations in the past. Viyansh and Vihaan exchanged a quick, puzzled look with each other, silently wondering what their younger brothers had done this time.

Viyansh: "What??"

Viraj: "Nothing, Bhai. Bhabhi maa was asking for you. Just go and meet her."

Viyansh, noticing the smirks from his younger brothers, couldn't help but frown. However, he decided not to dwell on it for the moment and headed towards his room, focused on preparing the pasta Vaidehi had been craving. Vihaan, equally puzzled but not wanting to get sidetracked, went towards his room as well, intent on delivering the sweets to Vanshika.

As Viyansh entered the room, the sight of Vaidehi sitting with her legs spread out, arms crossed, and her gaze fixed away from him immediately told him something was wrong. He knew this posture all too well—she was upset, probably sulking, and more than likely pouting. He approached the bed slowly, his heart sinking a little at the thought of her being upset. Sitting down beside her, he tried to offer comfort by wrapping his arms around her shoulders. But to his surprise, Vaidehi slapped his hand away, a gesture that caught him off guard and made his eyes widen in surprise. He hadn't expected such a reaction, and now, he was left wondering what had upset her so much this time.

Viyansh: "Jaaannnn"

Seeing Vaidehi's silent tears, Viyansh's concern deepened. He gently lifted her chin to make her look at him, but she continued to avoid his gaze, her head lowered as tears streamed down her face. Panicking at the sight of her distress, Viyansh quickly adjusted his position to face her directly. He cupped her face in his hands, his touch tender and reassuring. With a gentle motion, he began to wipe away her tears, his heart aching as he tried to comfort her. The sight of her tears was more than he could bear, and he was determined to understand what was causing her so much pain and offer the support she needed.

Viyansh: "Heyyyy, bachcha kya hua??"

(Heyyyy, love, what happened??)

Seeing Vaidehi sobbing and refusing to look at him, Viyansh's worry intensified. Her face was flushed red from crying, and his heart ached seeing her in such distress. Without a second thought, he gently but firmly lifted her face to meet his eyes, and enveloped her in a tight, reassuring hug.

Viyansh: "Shhhh, jaana rote nahi hai, it's not good for health na."

(Shhhh, sweetheart, don’t cry. It’s not good for your health, okay?)

As Viyansh held Vaidehi in his embrace, he began to gently stroke her hair, a soothing gesture meant to calm her. The rhythmic motion of his hand in her hair seemed to have a calming effect, but Vaidehi’s distress was still palpable. In response to his comforting touch, she clutched at his collar tightly, as if holding onto him was her anchor amidst the storm of her emotions.

Viyansh: "Kya ho gaya bachcha??"

(What’s wrong, love?)

After a few moments of being wrapped in Viyansh's comforting embrace, Vaidehi finally pulled back, her tear-streaked face lifting to meet his gaze.

Vaidehi: "An...sh, kya ab main aapko pasand nahi hu?"

(An...sh, do you not like me anymore?)

As Vaidehi hiccuped between her sobs, her question seemed to confuse Viyansh. The mix of her emotional state and the hiccups made it challenging for him to grasp her exact feelings. In response, Viyansh gently cupped her face once more, his thumbs brushing away the remaining tears.

Viyansh: "Ye kisne keh diya tumse??"

(Who told you this?)

Vaidehi, still hiccuping and her eyes filled with a mix of distress and confusion, took hold of Viyansh's hand that was gently cupping her cheek. She looked up at him with teary eyes and asked her question again.

Vaidehi: "Ansh please bataiye na do you still love me?"

(Ansh, please tell me, do you still love me?)

Viyansh leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to her forehead.

Viyansh: "Ofcourse I love you Jaan, ye kaise sawaal puch rhi ho achanak se?? Kaha se aaya tumhare dimaag me ye sab."

(Of course, I love you, Jaan. Why are you suddenly asking such questions? Where is this coming from?)

Vaidehi: "Kyuki ab toh main pehle jaisi nahi hu na"

(Because I’m not the same as before.)

Viyansh: "Matlab?"

(What do you mean?)

Vaidehi: "Matlab Ansh dekhiye na, now I'm so fat, now I don't look pretty na? also main kitna tang karti hu aapko, kitni demands karti hu."

(I mean, Ansh, just look at me. Now I’m so fat, I don’t look pretty anymore, right? And I bother you so much, I make so many demands.)

Vaidehi's emotions resurfaced, and she began sobbing once more. Viyansh wrapped his arms around Vaidehi, holding her close and gently stroking her back. He made sure to be mindful of her baby bump as he pulled her into a comforting embrace.

Viyansh: "Ye sab bakwas kaha se aayi tumhare dimaag me sach sach batana."

(Where did you get all this nonsense from? Tell me the truth.)

Vaidehi: "Raj aur Veer kuch books laaye the, usme likha hai ki husband's don't love their wives when they become fat."

(Raj and Veer brought some books, and they said that husbands don’t love their wives when they become fat.)

Viyansh's frustration simmered as he held Vaidehi close, mentally fuming about his younger brothers. He couldn't help but mentally curse his younger brothers for getting what he perceived as foolish books for his wife.

Vaidehi: "Ansh boliye na, I'm not pretty like before??"

(Ansh, tell me, am I not pretty like before?)

Vaidehi gently pulled back from Viyansh’s embrace, her teary eyes still reflecting the emotional turmoil she was experiencing. As she looked at him, her expression was a mix of vulnerability and yearning for understanding. The tears that had been streaming down her face were now replaced with a soft, pleading gaze, as if she was searching for reassurance and answers.

Viyansh: "Nooo"

Viyansh's answer, though intended to reassure Vaidehi, inadvertently intensified her insecurities, causing her to cry even harder. Seeing her distress deepen, Viyansh responded with renewed tenderness. He gently wiped away her tears, his touch soothing and comforting, and then pressed a tender kiss to her forehead.

Viyansh: "Because now you’re even prettier, Jaana."

Vaidehi: "Sachchi?"

(Really?)

With Viyansh’s gentle care and comforting gestures, Vaidehi's sobs gradually subsided.

Viyansh: "Yess meri Jaan, ye pregnancy glow, ye cute sa baby bump, ye chubby cheeks, in sab me kitni cute lagti ho tum."

( Yes, my love. This pregnancy glow, the cute little baby bump, these chubby cheeks—you look so cute in all of this.)

After her sobs had finally stopped, Vaidehi's tears began to fade, and a small, grateful grin appeared on her face.

Viyansh: "Mera toh dil karta hai humesha bas tumhe hi dekhta rahu, and I'll make sure tum humesha aise hi pregnant raho."

(My heart just wants to keep looking at you forever, and I’ll make sure you stay like this—pregnant—all the time.)

Viyansh, seeing Vaidehi's smile, decided to add a playful touch to the moment. He winked at her, his gesture light and affectionate. Vaidehi’s eyes widened in surprise at his playful gesture, and a soft blush crept across her cheeks. The sudden rush of warmth made her lower her gaze, her shyness evident.

Vaidehi: "Annnnnsshhhh, kya bol rahe hai."

(Ansshhh, what are you saying?)

Viyansh: "Kya kuch galat kaha kya?"

(Did I say something wrong?)

Vaidehi: "Kitne besharam hai aap"

(You’re so shameless.)

Viyansh: "Aap hi ne banaya hai."

(You made me this way.)

Vaidehi, caught off guard and blushing, found herself tongue-tied, unable to respond to Viyansh’s playful words. Her cheeks were flushed, and her gaze remained lowered, lost in the moment. Seeing her reaction, Viyansh decided to lighten the mood further. He cupped her face gently and began to pepper her cheeks with a flurry of tender kisses. The affectionate gesture elicited a series of giggles from Vaidehi, her laughter a joyful sound that filled the room.

Vaidehi: "Ansh bas kariye ab."

(Ansh, stop it now.)

Viyansh: "Tum bhi bas karna, khair nahi tumhari agar dobara aisi bakwas apne dimaag me layi toh."

(You stop it too, and if you ever let such nonsense into your mind again, there’ll be no forgiveness.)

Vaidehi: "Sorry."

Vaidehi, still giggling from Viyansh’s affectionate kisses, finally found her voice and apologized. Viyansh, amused by her apology and the sweetness of the moment, chuckled softly.

Viyansh: "Okay, now you rest. I’ll prepare your pasta."

Vaidehi: "Help me lie down; my back is hurting."

Viyansh: "Offo, pehle kyu nahi bataya."

(Oh, why didn’t you say so earlier?)

Vaidehi: "Abhi dard ho hai na."

(It just started hurting now.)

Viyansh: "Okay okay"

Viyansh gently helped her lie down properly. He carefully adjusted her pillows and ensured she was comfortable, being mindful of her baby bump.

Viyansh: "Better?"

Vaidehi: "Yes, now go and get my pasta. I’m hungry."

After ensuring Vaidehi was comfortable, Viyansh pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead and quietly left the room. As he emerged into the hallway, he noticed Vihaan coming out of his own room.

Viyansh: "Vanshi too?"

Vihaan gave Viyansh a nod, and both looked at each with an unknown expression.

In Viraj's room, he was sprawled half on his couch, deeply engaged in a phone call.

Girl: "How’s Bhabhi maa and Bhabhs?"

Viraj: "They’re good. Bhabhi maa’s due date is near, so we need to be extra careful."

Girl: "Ohhh."

Viraj: "Anyways, tumhare toh exams the na, kaise Gaye??"

(Anyway, didn’t you have exams? How did they go?)

Girl: "aapko kya hai itna meri studies ka, can't you just talk about us??"

(Why do you care so much about my studies? Can’t you just talk about us?)

Viraj: "Ek toh tum mujhe aap nahi tum bol sakti ho, ye kya aap bolna shuru kiya tumne, aur ye padhai ke naam pe itni chidh kyu jati ho tum?? Career nahi banana hai kya??"

(First of all, you can just call me ‘tum’ instead of ‘aap.’ Why have you started using ‘aap’? And why do you get so annoyed when studies are mentioned? Don’t you want to build a career?)

Girl: "Maine suna hai bhabhi maa aur bhabhs bhi Bhai aur Vihu Bhai ko 'aap' kehti hai, they are my role model. And I'm not interested in studies main sirf aapke sath Ghar basane ke sapne dekhti hu."

(I heard Bhabhi maa and Bhabhs also call Bhai and Vihu Bhai ‘aap.’ They’re my role models. And I’m not interested in studies. I only dream about building a home with you.)

There was a noticeable excitement in the girl's voice.

Viraj: "Whattt???"

Girl: "Yeah, aapse shadi karungi aur phir humare cute cute bachche honge. And I think you earn enough ki aap, aapna, apni biwi yani ki mera aur apne bachcho ka khayal rakh lenge."

(Yeah, I’ll marry you, and then we’ll have cute little kids. And I think you earn enough to take care of yourself, your wife—that is, me—and our kids.)

Viraj’s face and neck had turned a deep red, something that seemed to be a typical reaction among the Singhania siblings. He was struggling to keep his composure as he listened to the other end of the phone call.  He struggled to find his words after hearing how casually she discussed marriage and kids.

Viraj: "Tu....tum, kuch sochti bhi ho bolne se pehle sidha shadi aur ba...bachche."

(Do you even think before you speak? Straight to marriage and ki...kids?)

Girl: "Isme sochna kya hai, shadi ke baad bachche hi toh honge na, aapko pata nahi hai?? It's a natural process cookie."

(What’s there to think about? After marriage, we’ll have kids, right? Don’t you know that? It’s a natural process, Cookie.)

Viraj: "Shut up you shameless women."

Girl: "Areh maine galat kya kaha??"

(What did I say wrong?)

Viraj: "Maine haa ki nahi hai abhi tak???"

(I haven’t even said yes yet!)

Girl: "Aapne naa bhi nahi ki hai cookie."

(But you haven’t said no either, Cookie.)

Viraj was blushing intensely, his cheeks and neck flushed a deep red as he struggled to respond.

Girl: "Aap bas haa kar dijiye phir main toh abhi papa ko bhej du aapke ghar rishta leke."

(Just say yes, and I’ll send my dad over to your house with a proposal right away.)

Viraj: "Dekho tum..."

(Listen, you...)

"virajjjj, Viraattt"

Viraj heard the voices of Viyansh and Vihaan.

Viraj: "Achcha suno, bhai bula rahe hai main baadme baat karta hu."

(Alright, listen, Bhai is calling. I’ll talk to you later.)

Girl: "Main intezaar karungi."

(I’ll be waiting.)

Viraj: "Can you just stop flirting with me?"

Girl: "Kya kaha kuch sunai nahi Diya baadme baat karte hai bye, cookie love you."

(What did you say? I didn’t hear you. We’ll talk later, bye, Cookie. Love you.)

Viraj hung up the call, his cheeks flushed with a deep blush and his mouth slightly agape. He quickly composed himself and headed downstairs, only to be greeted by an unexpected and startling scene. In the living room, Viyansh stood holding a broom, and Vihaan gripped a rolling pin (belan). Both of them were glaring intensely at Virat, who sat on the couch looking like a trapped animal. Virat was cornered between the formidable trio of Viyansh, Vihaan, and the couch, with no apparent escape route.

Viraj: "Ye...ye kya hai bhai??"

(What... what is this, Bhai?)

As Viraj descended the stairs, Viyansh and Vihaan’s attention was drawn to him.

Viyansh: "Vihu tu is Virat ko pakad, main is nalayak Viraj ko pata hu."

(Vihu, you grab Virat, and I’ll bring this idiot Viraj.)

As Viraj reached the bottom of the stairs, Vihaan quickly moved to hold Virat. Meanwhile, Viyansh approached Viraj and grabbed hold of his ears.

Viraj: "Ahhh, Bhai, what are you doing?"

Viyansh, still holding Viraj’s ear, guided him towards the couch with a firm but playful grip. Once they reached the couch, Viyansh gently made Viraj sit down beside Virat.

Viraj: "Kya kar rahe hai aap dono?? Virat tune kuch kiya kya??"

(What are you both doing? Virat, did you do something?)

As Viraj was seated beside him on the couch, Virat shot him a sharp glare.

Virat: "Jaise tu bahaut Shareef hai na"

(As if you’re so innocent.)

Vihaan: "Chup Karo dono."

( Both of you, be quiet.)

Viyansh: "Nalayako, kisne bola tha vo faltu pregnancy books laane ko??"

(You idiots, who told you to bring those useless pregnancy books?)

Viraj: "Ahh, Bhai, well actually..."

Vihaan: "They’ve gotten fat, and we don’t like them anymore? , ye bakwas kisne Dali Dahi aur shika ke dimag me??"

(Who put this nonsense into Dahi and Shika’s heads?)

Virat: "Bhai yaar vo toh book me likha tha humne nahi bola kuch."

(Bhai, it was written in the book. We didn’t say anything.)

Viyansh: "You idiots, Jaan aur Vanshi ro rahe the us bakwaas book ki vajah se."

(You idiots, Jaan and Vanshi were crying because of that stupid book.)

Vihaan: "Aaj toh khair nahi hai dono ki, bakwaas kaam karne me jo PhD ki hai na dono ne, aaj sab nikalte hai."

(Today, you both are in for it. You’ve got a PhD in doing stupid things. Today, we’re going to take it all out on you.)

In a burst of energy and mischief, Viraj and Virat quickly pushed Viyansh and Vihaan aside and bolted, running to save themselves from their elder brothers. The sudden movement created a chaotic yet humorous scene as they dashed away, their laughter echoing through the house. Viyansh and Vihaan, caught off guard but quickly recovering, grabbed a broom and a rolling pin respectively and gave chase.

Viraj: "Bhai sorry Bhai please."

Virat: "Vihu Bhai, aap toh samjho yaar."

(Vihu Bhai, you understand, right?)

As Viyansh and Vihaan continued their pursuit with the broom and rolling pin, they were clearly intent on catching their mischievous younger brothers. Despite Viraj and Virat's attempts to evade them, the elder brothers showed no sign of letting up. Just then, Vikram emerged from his room, his eyes widening in surprise at the chaotic scene unfolding before him. The sight of Viyansh and Vihaan chasing Viraj and Virat, all with such fervor and household tools in hand, was a stark contrast to the usual calm of the household.

Vikram: "Ye kya ho raha hai??"

(What’s going on here?)

Viyansh: "Papa, in dono ki vajah se aapki ladliyan ro rahi thi aaj."

(Dad, because of these two, your daughters were crying today.)

Vikram: "Kyaa??"

(What?)

Vihaan: "Haa papa, pata nahi kaha se bekaar books leke aate hai dono."

(Yes, Dad. I don’t know where they found those useless books.)

Vikram: "Tab toh peeto in dono ko."

(Then beat them up.)

Viraj: "Yaar papa aap bhi"

(Bro, Dad, you too?)

Vikram: "I'm not your yaar."

Virat: "Yaar papa, aap aise disown nahi kar sakte hume, remember hum aapke pyaar bachche hai bachao hume."

(Buddy, Dad, you can’t just disown us like that. Remember, we’re your beloved children. Save us!)

Vikram: "aise me bhi nautanki sukh Rahi hai isko, Vihaan, Viyansh chodna mat dono ko aaj."

(Even in this situation, he’s still acting. Vihaan, Viyansh, don’t spare them today.)

Viraj: "Virat, chup nahi reh sakta tha tere chakkar me main bhi pitunga."

(Virat, you couldn’t keep quiet? Now I’m going to get beaten because of you.)

In the lively living room, Viraj and Virat were darting around with gleeful energy, their movements a blur as they tried to avoid being caught. Viyansh and Vihaan, determined and relentless, were chasing them with the broom and rolling pin in hand, adding an element of playful chaos to the scene. Vikram, observing the spirited chase, was visibly trying to hold back his laughter.

Hearing the commotion, Vaidehi and Vanshika emerged from their rooms, curious about the source of the noise. When they saw the scene of Viraj and Virat racing around while Viyansh and Vihaan pursued them with a broom and rolling pin, they couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The sight was both chaotic and hilarious, a delightful display of sibling antics. Viyansh and Vihaan, noticing their laughter, quickly approached them. They gently helped Vaidehi and Vanshika walk towards the couch and made them sit comfortably.

Viraj and Virat, knelt down in front of Vaidehi and Vanshika and they held out their hands.

Viraj: "Bhabhi maa, bacha lo yaar apne pati se."

(Bhabhi maa, save me from your husband, please.)

Virat: "Bhabhs, ye vakeel sahab khud crime karne pe utar aaye hai."

(Bhabhs, this lawyer has turned to committing crimes himself.)

Vaidehi: "Tum dono harkat hi aisi karte ho."

(You both always behave like this.)

Viyansh rotated his hands around Vaidehi and then dramatically cracked his hands on his forehead.

Viyansh: "Jaana pehle baar tumne inke against bola aur sahi bola. Bhagwan kare tumhara dimaag aise hi chale."

( Sweetheart, this is the first time you’ve spoken against them, and you’re right. May your mind keep working like this.)

Vanshika: "Bhai aap keh rahe hai ki bhabhi ka dimaag nahi chalta??"

(Bhai, are you saying that Bhabhi doesn’t have a working mind?)

Viyansh widened his eyes in surprise, while Vaidehi looked at him with a frown.

Virat: "Too bad bhai, aap aise kaise humari bhabhi ko bol sakte hai."

(Too bad, Bhai. How could you say that about our Bhabhi?)

Viraj: "Bhabhi maa main toh nahi sehta."

(Bhabhi maa, I can’t tolerate this.)

Viyansh smacked them on the heads, likely in a playful manner.

Vihaan: "Ye aag me ghee dalne ka kaam mat Karo dono."

( Don’t pour fuel on the fire, both of you.)

As the siblings continued their playful banter, the room was filled with laughter and joy. Vikram, Vaidehi, and Vanshika watched the lively scene unfold, their enjoyment evident in their smiles and laughter. The playful interactions among the siblings created a heartwarming atmosphere, a perfect display of family togetherness. Suddenly, Vaidehi experienced a light pain in her stomach, causing her to stop laughing. Viyansh, ever attentive, immediately noticed her sudden change in demeanor. Concerned, he looked at her, but Vaidehi reassured him with a smile and a shake of her head, indicating that it was nothing to worry about. Despite the brief interruption, the family continued to enjoy their time together, appreciating the warmth and closeness that moments like these brought.

As the light pain returned, Vaidehi instinctively reached out and grasped Viyansh's hand, seeking comfort. Viyansh, feeling her grip, immediately turned his attention to her. He gently squeezed her hand in reassurance, his concern evident.

Viyansh: "Jaana?? Kya hua"

(Love? What happened?)

Vaidehi: "nothing vo bas...aahhhhh"

Vaidehi clutched Viyansh's hand tightly, and a wave of concern washed over the room as everyone noticed her discomfort. The laughter and banter ceased instantly, replaced by worried expressions. Vikram, Vanshika, Viraj, and Virat quickly gathered around her, their faces etched with concern.

Viyansh: "Jaan is it paining?"

Vaidehi: "Ansh, I gue..... ahhhh."

As the pain intensified, Vaidehi began to cry, placing her hand protectively over her stomach. Her distress was evident, and her tears added to the gravity of the situation. Viyansh's concern turned to urgent worry as he watched her struggle with the pain.  Viyansh's face was etched with worry as he tried to comfort her, his heart aching at seeing her in such distress. The family’s reaction was immediate and panicked. Viyansh held Vaidehi close, trying to offer as much comfort as possible while the others looked on, their faces etched with anxiety.

Vanshika: "Bhai, I think it's time, jaldi bhabhi ko hospital leke jaana hoga."

(Bhai, I think it's time. We need to take Bhabhi to the hospital quickly.)

Seeing Vaidehi in such distress, Viyansh's panic escalated. His face was a mixture of fear and helplessness as he watched her cry and scream in pain. Her continuous cries and the intensity of her suffering only heightened his anxiety. The entire family was deeply concerned, their previous amusement replaced by a palpable sense of worry. Vikram, Vanshika, Viraj, and Virat stood around, their expressions reflecting their concern.

Vihaan: "But dates on next week thi na."

(But the due date was next week, right?)

Vanshika: "Toh kya abhi aane nahi denge baby ko kya. "

(So what? Are we going to stop the baby from coming?)

Vanshika shouted at Vihaan for asking a stupid question, clearly irritated by his remark.

Vanshika: "Bhabhi please take deep breaths."

Viyansh: "Yes jaan, abhi hospital chal rahe hai hum. Tum jao hospital bag leke aao aur car nikalo main delivery ke liye ready hota hu."

(Yes, love, we’re heading to the hospital right now. You go get the hospital bag and get the car ready while I get prepared for the delivery.)

Vaidehi: "Whattttt???????"

Viyansh, deeply overwhelmed by the situation, began taking deep breaths in an attempt to steady himself. Despite his efforts to remain calm, his panic was palpable, evident in his erratic breathing and frantic movements.

Vikram: "Saare pagal yahi hai, Viraj ja car nikal, Virat go and get her hospital bag."

(Is everyone here crazy? Viraj, go start the car. Virat, get her hospital bag.)

Viraj and Virat both rushed off to get their work done.

Vihaan: "Bhaiii"

In the midst of his panic and deep breaths, Viyansh, focused on trying to stay calm, didn’t immediately respond to Vaidehi's distress as she needed. In a moment of frustration and urgency, Vaidehi, despite her own pain, managed to slap him on his back.

Vaidehi: "Annnnshhn,.... ahhhhhhh."

Hearing Vaidehi's agonizing scream pierced through Viyansh's panic, pulling him back to the immediate crisis at hand. The raw sound of her pain snapped him out of his frantic state, focusing his entire attention on her suffering.

Vikram: "Viyansh chal, ladoo ko hospital leke jaana hai."

(Viyansh, come on, we need to take Ladoo to the hospital.)

Viyansh, now fully focused, carefully helped Vaidehi to her feet despite her difficulty in standing. With great effort, she managed to get into the car, and Viyansh quickly settled her comfortably, his concern evident in his every move. Vihaan and Vanshika, eager to support and accompany them, prepared to follow. However, Vikram intervened, expressing concern for Vanshika's well-being due to her own pregnancy. He insisted that it would be safer for her to stay behind, given the potential strain of the situation on her health. Reluctantly, Vihaan and Vanshika agreed, understanding the necessity of the precaution.

As Viyansh prepared to leave, Virat quickly placed the hospital bag in the trunk of the car, ensuring that everything needed for the hospital was ready. Vikram assisted Viyansh in helping Vaidehi into the backseat, making sure she was as comfortable as possible given her condition. Viyansh sat beside her, his concern palpable as he tried to offer support and comfort. Vikram took the passenger seat up front, while Viraj took the wheel, driving them swiftly to the hospital. Virat, understanding the urgency, took another car and followed closely behind. He also called ahead to the hospital to ensure that everything was prepared and that the medical team was ready to provide immediate care upon their arrival.

In the car, Viyansh was deeply focused on Vaidehi, his actions a blend of anxiety and care. He kept wiping the sweat from her face, his hands gentle but steady. His soothing words, meant to comfort her, also seemed to be directed at himself, a way to reassure both Vaidehi and himself.

Vaidehi: "Aahhh..hhh Ansh bah..haut dard ho raha hai."

(Aahhh..hhh, Ansh, it’s hurting so much.)

Viyansh: "Bas jaana bas hum bas pohch gaye hai, take deep breaths, see just like me."

(Just hold on, love, we’re almost there. Take deep breaths, just like me.)

Despite Viyansh's attempts to stay calm and offer reassuring words to Vaidehi, his own hands betrayed his inner turmoil, visibly trembling as he wiped the sweat from her face. His voice, though steady, carried a hint of the fear and anxiety he was feeling.

Vikram: "Viyansh, tu pehle khud shant hoja, ladoo toh phir bhi thik hai. "

(Viyansh, you need to calm down first. Ladoo is doing better than you.)

Viyansh nodded, trying to stay composed, but inside, he was struggling to keep himself together as he witnessed Vaidehi's pain. The emotional weight of the situation was immense, and he fought to stay strong for her sake. When they arrived at the hospital, Viyansh and the rest of the family quickly helped Vaidehi out of the car and into the emergency room. The medical team was ready and waiting, having been informed in advance. They swiftly took Vaidehi into the labor room.

As Viyansh paced anxiously in front of the labor room, his agitation was palpable. The constant sound of Vaidehi's screams from within the room only heightened his distress. Despite the efforts of Vikram, Viraj, and Virat to calm him down, nothing seemed to ease his mounting anxiety. Their attempts to provide comfort were overshadowed by the harsh reality of the situation. Viraj and Virat, deeply attached to Vaidehi, were also visibly shaken, their concern adding to the tense atmosphere. Despite their own fears, they understood the importance of being strong and supportive for Viyansh during this critical time. Their maturity shone through as they tried to offer their presence and encouragement. Meanwhile, Vikram took a moment to call Abhinav, informing him of Vaidehi’s situation.

After nearly an hour of agonizing wait, during which Vaidehi's screams continued unabated, a nurse finally emerged from the labor room.

Nurse: "Who’s Ansh here?"

Viyansh: "Yes, that's me."

Nurse: "The patient is calling for you inside."

As Viyansh followed the nurse into the labor room, he was given a green cloth to wear, ensuring he adhered to the hospital’s protocols. The sight before him was overwhelming. Vaidehi, in the throes of labor, was clutching the bedsheet tightly, her face drenched in sweat. Her eyes were shut tightly, and her breathing was labored and heavy. She was moving her head from side to side, clearly struggling with the intense pain. The doctors were urging her to push, and despite her efforts, the intensity of the situation was palpable. The sight of Vaidehi in such distress, combined with the frenetic activity around her, left Viyansh feeling dizzy and disoriented. His mind went blank as he struggled to process the gravity of the situation. The nurse, noticing his distress, quickly intervened, offering physical support to prevent him from fainting. She steadied him, her calm presence a small anchor amidst the chaos. Viyansh took a few deep breaths, trying to regain his composure as he focused on being there for Vaidehi during this crucial moment.

Nurse: "Sir, please hold yourself together. Your wife needs you."

Realizing his tears had begun to flow, Viyansh quickly wiped them away, focusing all his attention on Vaidehi. With a determined effort, he moved closer to her, his presence a crucial source of support in this intense moment.

Viyansh: "Jaana??"

As Vaidehi opened her eyes, the pain she was experiencing was evident on her face. Her expression was a mixture of agony and determination, reflecting the immense effort she was putting into bringing their baby into the world.

Vaidehi: "Ansh.. bahaut dard ho raha hai."

(Ansh... it hurts so much.)

As Viyansh gently wiped the sweat from Vaidehi’s face, he continued to caress her head soothingly with the other hand. His touch was tender and reassuring, meant to offer comfort amidst the intense pain she was enduring. Vaidehi, her grip on his hand firm, held onto him tightly, drawing strength from his presence.

Doctor: "Mr. Singhania, ask her to push. We can see the baby's head."

Viyansh nodded, his expression filled with deep empathy and love. He leaned in and gently kissed Vaidehi's forehead, his touch both tender and reassuring.

Viyansh: "Biwi, we’re almost there. Just push a little more. Try, Jaan you can do it."

Vaidehi clutched Viyansh's hand even more tightly, her nails digging into his skin as she gripped him for support. Despite the sharp pain from her nails piercing his skin, Viyansh remained unfazed, fully immersed in providing comfort and strength for her. His focus was solely on helping Vaidehi through the intense labor, and he absorbed the pain with stoic resolve, his love and dedication evident in his unwavering presence.

Vaidehi: "I can’t... d...ahhh... do it, An...Ansh, ask them to go...go for a C-section."

Viyansh: "No, Jaan, I know you can do it."

The doctor, observing Vaidehi’s condition, noticed she was on the verge of losing consciousness. With urgency, the medical team began to intensify their efforts to assist her through the labor.

Doctor: "Mr. Singhania, please keep her awake, or else it will become difficult."

In a desperate attempt to keep Vaidehi alert and grounded, Viyansh gently patted her cheek. His touch was tender but insistent, meant to bring her back from the brink of unconsciousness

Viyansh: "Jaan, jaan please dekho humari little jaan aa rahi hai, please please push Karo. "

(Jaan, please, our little one is almost here. Please, please push.)

Vaidehi opened her eyes, tears streaming down her face, and her effort to push through the pain was evident. The emotional weight of the moment was heavy, and Viyansh, his own tears flowing freely, mirrored her distress. Despite the intense pain and exhaustion, Vaidehi continued to push with all her strength, her determination clear. Viyansh remained by her side, his heart breaking for her but also filled with immense pride and love. His tears were a testament to his emotional involvement and support, as he continued to encourage her.

Doctor: "Yes, Mrs. Singhania, just push one last time with all your strength."

As Vaidehi summoned all her strength and pushed with incredible force, the room was filled with the echoes of her final, intense scream. The sound of the baby's first cries followed, signaling the arrival of their little one. The overwhelming mix of emotions in the room was palpable. Vaidehi and Viyansh locked eyes, their tears now a mixture of exhaustion, relief, and joy. The sight of their baby’s arrival brought an immense wave of happiness. Viyansh leaned in and kissed Vaidehi’s forehead tenderly, his kiss a silent celebration of their shared triumph and love. Their tearful smiles and the new life they had brought into the world marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with hope and promise.

Viyansh: "Congratulations little Jaan ki mumma."

Vaidehi: "Congratulations little Jaan ke papa."

Vaidehi said in a faint voice.

Doctor: "Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Singhania it's a boy."

As Vaidehi looked at Viyansh and giggled, her joyful reaction surprised everyone in the room, including the doctor. Despite the exhaustion and pain, her giggle was a testament to the immense relief and happiness she felt at that moment.

Vaidehi: "Better luck next time, Ansh."

As Vaidehi’s faint giggle faded into a whisper, she lost consciousness, causing a wave of panic to wash over Viyansh. His eyes widened in alarm, and he immediately turned to the doctors, his heart racing.

Viyansh: "Doctor, my wife..."

Doctor: "Don’t worry, she’s alright. She just fainted from exhaustion. Please wait outside. We’ll clean the baby and shift both of them to the VIP ward."

Viyansh emerged from the delivery room, his eyes glistening with tears of joy. The sight that greeted him was a heartwarming one—Vikram, Viraj, Virat, and the Oberoi family were dancing with unrestrained happiness, their faces lit up with immense joy and excitement. The sound of the baby’s first cries had clearly touched everyone deeply. Viyansh, with tears of joy in his eyes and a proud smile on his face, finally allowed himself to fully embrace the overwhelming emotions of becoming a father. The reality of this life-changing moment hit him deeply. Without a word, he walked straight to his father and hugged him tightly, seeking the comfort and support that only a father could provide. Vikram, understanding the profound significance of the moment, wrapped his arms around Viyansh, both of them silently sharing the joy and relief of the new addition to their family.

Viyansh: "Papa, I became a father."

Vikram: "Congratulations, son."

Seeing Viyansh and Vikram embracing, Viraj and Virat, unable to contain their emotions, quickly joined the hug. The four men, united in their shared joy and relief, held each other tightly. The brothers, overwhelmed by the significance of becoming uncles and the happiness radiating from their elder brother, felt a deep connection to the newborn and each other.

Viraj, Virat: "Congratulations Bhai."

Viraj: "Finally humare ghar Lakshmi aayi hai."

(Finally, Lakshmi has arrived in our home.)

Viyansh, still overwhelmed by the whirlwind of emotions, pulled back from the hug and, to everyone’s surprise, let out a lighthearted giggle.

Viyansh: "Lakshmi nahi meri jaan ke kanha ji aaye hai, it's a boy. "

(Not Lakshmi—my love's Kanha ji has arrived. It’s a boy.)

Vikram, catching the infectious joy in Viyansh’s giggle, couldn’t help but join in. He chuckled softly and gave Viyansh a firm, affectionate pat on the back.

Viraj: "We’re still happy, Bhai."

Virat: "Ha humari team me ek aur Shaitan aa gaya."

(Yes, another little mischevious has joined our team.)

As the Oberois and Rathores gathered around, they joined in the congratulations, offering warm wishes and heartfelt hugs to Viyansh and the entire family. The atmosphere was brimming with joy, as everyone shared in the happiness of the new arrival. Virat, always quick to act, had already called Eklavya to share the good news. Amidst the celebrations, the door to the labor room opened, and the doctor stepped out. The group immediately turned their attention to her, their excitement mingled with a touch of anxiety. Viyansh, still processing the emotions of the moment, felt his heart skip a beat as he awaited the doctor’s words.

Viyansh: "Doctor mera bachcha aur mera beta kaisa hai??"

(Doctor, how is my baby, my son?)

Doctor: "Hain??"

(Huh?)

Eklavya: "Ab toh use bachcha bolna chod de."

(You should stop calling her "baby" now.)

Everyone burst into laughter at his expense.

Viyansh: "I mean, how are my wife and son?"

Doctor: "Both are fine and have been shifted to the VIP ward. Mrs. Singhania will regain consciousness soon, and the nurse will bring your baby shortly."

Viyansh: "Thank you, Doctor."

Doctor: "By the way, Mr. Singhania, your wife is the only patient in my entire career who laughed immediately after giving birth."

Viyansh's sudden chuckle caught everyone off guard, leaving the group momentarily confused. The doctor, too, paused, unsure of what had prompted his laughter. Noticing the puzzled expressions around him, Viyansh couldn’t help but smile wider.

Doctor: "Why did she laugh?"

Viyansh: "Because I wanted a girl, and we had a boy."

As everyone shared a laugh at the memory of Vaidehi's antics, the doctor joined in, adding to the lightheartedness of the moment.

As Vikram called Vihaan and Vanshika to share the news of the baby boy, their excitement was palpable. Overwhelmed with joy, they quickly left home to join the rest of the family at the hospital, eager to meet the newest member of their family. Meanwhile, the nurse emerged from the labor room, gently cradling the baby boy in her arms.

Viyansh’s heart raced with a mix of anticipation and pure joy as the nurse walked in with their baby boy. The tiny bundle, swaddled in a soft blanket, was cradled carefully in her arms. Viyansh's eyes were fixed on the baby, his heart swelling with an overwhelming surge of love and emotion. As the nurse gently handed the baby over to Viyansh, he took the little one in his arms with the utmost tenderness. The moment their eyes met, tears began to well up in his eyes. The reality of holding this tiny life—so fragile, so perfect—was a profound and transformative experience for him. The tears that had been brimming now flowed freely down his cheeks. Viyansh's emotions were a swirling mixture of joy, pride, love, and awe. Each tear seemed to be a testament to the depth of his feelings: the culmination of months of anticipation, the joy of seeing the result of his and Vaidehi’s love, and the dreams of a beautiful future together. He gazed at his son with a profound sense of wonder and gratitude. The baby’s tiny fingers curled around his hand, and Viyansh felt an indescribable bond—a connection that went beyond words. It was as if, in that moment, he was seeing the future of their family unfold before his eyes. The baby stirred slightly, making a soft, contented sound, and Viyansh’s heart melted even further. He gently adjusted the blanket, ensuring the baby was comfortable and secure in his arms. After nine months of anticipation and preparation, the moment Viyansh had been waiting for was finally here. Holding his little Jaan in his arms, the overwhelming joy he felt was nearly indescribable. The baby, who had been a constant presence in his conversations and dreams, was now here, in his arms. Viyansh had spent countless nights talking to the baby, sharing his hopes, dreams, and love even when Vaidehi was asleep. He had imagined this moment so many times: the soft, tiny hands, the peaceful little face, the gentle breaths of his newborn. Now, it was all real. The baby who had been the subject of his whispered conversations and tender promises was finally tangible. Viyansh could hardly believe that the little one he had envisioned so vividly was now a part of his world. The overwhelming happiness was almost too much to contain. Every feature of his son—the tiny nose, the delicate fingers, the soft whimper—was a marvel to Viyansh. He gently stroked the baby’s cheek, his heart swelling with a mix of love and pride.

He found himself lost in the moment, feeling a profound connection with the tiny life he held. The baby’s presence in his arms was the culmination of all the love he and Vaidehi had poured into this journey. The tiny form that he had lovingly talked to and dreamed about was now a reality, and the depth of his joy was immeasurable. In that instant, as Viyansh held his son close, he felt a deep sense of fulfillment and wonder. The journey that had begun with dreams and anticipation had now led to this beautiful reality. The sight of his son, so small and perfect, filled him with a joy that words could scarcely capture.

In the tranquil hospital room, everyone respectfully gave Viyansh the space he needed to fully savor the moment with his newborn son. It was a sacred time, and they all understood the depth of his emotions. Viyansh leaned in and placed a tender kiss on the baby’s tiny forehead. As Viyansh gently kissed the baby's forehead, a profound connection was established. The sensation of his father’s lips against his skin seemed to stir the baby, and as he opened his eyes, Viyansh felt a surge of pure, unadulterated joy. The tiny eyes, though still adjusting to the light, seemed to lock onto Viyansh's face, and in that gaze, Viyansh found an overwhelming sense of completeness. Time felt like it had stopped. The happiness and contentment he felt in that moment were so profound that he wished he could hold onto it forever. He wanted to freeze this exact instance—this perfect, fleeting moment where he was holding his son for the first time, his heart brimming with an indescribable love. The baby’s eyes, though not fully open, seemed to acknowledge Viyansh's presence with a serene and innocent gaze. The bond between father and child was palpable, a silent exchange of trust and love that transcended words. For Viyansh, nothing else mattered at that moment. The responsibilities, the waiting, and even the worries of the past months seemed to dissolve into the pure joy of holding his baby. His heart was full, and he felt as if he could gaze at his son for an eternity, finding in that tiny face all the happiness he had ever dreamed of. He whispered softly to his son, as if trying to convey all the love and hopes he had for him through his words.

Viyansh: "Welcome to the world Little Jaan."

He gently rocked his baby, cherishing the warmth and softness of the little one against his chest. As Viyansh held his baby close to his chest, he enveloped him in a tender embrace. The warmth of his body and the gentle rhythm of his heartbeat provided a soothing cocoon for the newborn. This close contact was more than just physical; it was an expression of deep, unconditional love and a promise of protection and care. The baby nestled against his father's chest, feeling the steady heartbeat and the comforting warmth. Viyansh’s embrace was filled with an overwhelming sense of contentment and pride.

Viyansh: "Papa, ye.. ye toh bilkul meri Jaan ke jaisa dikhta hai. "

(Dad, he... he looks just like my love.)

Feeling Vikram's reassuring touch on his shoulder, Viyansh looked up. Vikram's presence was a steady anchor in this whirlwind of emotions. He offered a warm, supportive smile, silently acknowledging the profound moment between father and son.

Viraj: "Bhai ab hume bhi toh dikhao."

(Bhai, now show him to us too.)

Sangeeta: "Mujhe bhi toh do mera nati."

(Let me hold my grandchild too.)

Harshvardhan: "Areh main sabse bada hu, mujhe do pehle."

(Hey, I’m the oldest, so I get to hold him first.)

Virat: "Dadu yaar main sabse chota hu toh mujhe milna chahiye na"

(Grandpa, I’m the youngest, so I should get to hold him first.)

Vikram: "Veer, beta ab tu sabse chote nahi hai."

(Veer, my boy, you’re not the youngest anymore.)

As the room filled with joyous giggles and smiles, Viyansh gently placed the baby into Harshvardhan's arms. Harshvardhan, with a beaming smile and a look of immense pride, cradled the newborn carefully. The family gathered around, their faces lit up with happiness and awe as they admired the newest member of their clan. Viyansh, standing close by, watched the scene unfold with a heart full of joy. The sight of his baby surrounded by loving family members, each one captivated by the tiny, delicate life, was a testament to the deep bonds of love and support that defined their family.

Viraj: "Yaar bhai, bhabhi maa ki harkaton se lagta tha baby aapke jaisa hoga."

(Bhai, from Bhabhi maa’s antics, I thought the baby would look like you.)

Virat: "Par ye toh bhabhi maa ki hi carbon copy hai. "

( But he’s a carbon copy of Bhabhi maa.)

Viraj: "Yaar, he’s so pink. Aww, my pinky."

Virat: "Shut up, Viraj."

As everyone admired the baby, their hearts swelling with joy and affection, the nurse approached Viyansh with an important update that Vaidehi had been moved to the VIP ward and was now conscious. A wave of relief and excitement washed over Viyansh. He looked down at his son once more, his eyes filled with pride and love, before carefully handing the baby to a trusted family member. With a mixture of anticipation and tenderness, Viyansh made his way to the VIP ward where Vaidehi was resting.

Viyansh gently entered the VIP ward, his heart full of both relief and tenderness. He saw Vaidehi lying on the bed with her eyes closed. He approached Vaidehi's bedside, his eyes filled with love and concern. As he caressed her head and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, Vaidehi's eyes fluttered open. The exhaustion from labor was evident on her face, but her smile was warm and reassuring. Seeing Viyansh by her side brought a sense of peace to her. Despite her fatigue, the joy of their new arrival and the presence of her loving husband made her feel comforted and supported. Viyansh, holding her hand and looking deeply into her eyes, conveyed his gratitude and overwhelming love without needing words.

Viyansh: "How are you biwi?"

Vaidehi: "Ansh aisa lag raha hai kisi ne road roller chala Diya ho mujhpe."

(Ansh, it feels like someone has run a road roller over me.)

Vaidehi, with a faint but heartfelt voice, managed to express herself. He leaned in and placed another gentle kiss on her forehead, conveying his boundless love and appreciation.

Viyansh: "I'm so proud of you bachcha."

Vaidehi: "Baby kaha hai Ansh?"

(Where is the baby, Ansh?)

Viyansh: "Bahar sabke sath."

(He's outside with everyone.)

Seeing Vaidehi’s attempt to sit up, Viyansh gently but firmly stopped her.

Viyansh: "Kya kar rahi ho jaana?"

(What are you doing?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh mujhe baithne me help kijiye na, aur baby ko le aaiye mujhe dekhna hai."

(Ansh, help me sit up, and bring the baby here. I want to see him.)

Viyansh, with a tender smile, carefully helped Vaidehi into a more comfortable sitting position, ensuring she was well-supported. He then stepped out briefly and returned with their newborn baby cradled gently in his arms. As he approached the bed, his eyes were filled with an emotion that spoke of pure, unfiltered joy.

Viyansh: "Bilkul meri jaan ki carbon copy hai mera little Jaan."

(He’s a complete copy of my little darling.)

As Viyansh carefully placed their baby in Vaidehi’s arms, her eyes filled with tears of joy and disbelief. She gazed at the tiny, perfect face of their son, his doe-like eyes meeting hers with a sense of innocence and wonder. The sight was so overwhelming that it felt as though time itself had slowed down, giving her a chance to savor every precious moment. Vaidehi’s heart swelled with a profound sense of love and protection. The nine months of anticipation and hope had culminated in this beautiful, intimate moment, and the reality of holding her child brought a deep, comforting sense of fulfillment. She gently stroked the baby’s cheek, her tears falling softly onto his delicate skin. The baby’s tiny fingers grasped at her hand, and Vaidehi's breath caught in her throat and the simple, pure connection between mother and child was overwhelming. Vaidehi marveled at how this little person, who had been growing inside her for so long, was now in her arms, looking up at her with such trust and affection.  She marveled at how delicate and perfect he was, from the soft curve of his tiny nose to the fluttering lashes of his closed eyes. Her chest tightened with an intense, profound love that she had never known before. The nine months of anticipation, the sleepless nights, and the moments of discomfort were all worth it for this singular, precious instant.

Holding her son close, Vaidehi felt an undeniable connection that went beyond words. It was as if she could feel every heartbeat of her child echoing against her own. The weight of him in her arms, though small, felt like the most significant and precious thing she had ever held. Every tiny breath he took, every little sigh, seemed to resonate with a deep sense of completion and fulfillment. The sight of him, so new and innocent, evoked a powerful surge of maternal instinct. It was a love so deep that it felt as if her entire being was wrapped around him, protecting and cherishing him. She couldn’t help but imagine all the moments they would share together—the laughter, the milestones, and the simple joys of watching him grow. Vaidehi's heart ached with the beauty of it all. The journey to this point had been long and filled with anticipation, but now that their baby was finally here, it was as if time had slowed down just for them. The world outside faded away, and all that mattered was this small bundle of life cradled in her arms. She wished she could freeze this moment forever, holding him close and savoring the warmth and love that enveloped them. The baby, with his soft, velvety skin and the gentle rise and fall of his chest, seemed to anchor her to the present, making everything else feel distant and unimportant. Vaidehi’s tears continued to fall, not out of sadness, but from the sheer overwhelming happiness and gratitude she felt. She had given birth to this tiny person who was a part of both her and Viyansh, a living testament to their love and dreams. As she looked at her baby, her heart overflowed with a love so pure and profound that it left her breathless. Every touch, every glance at her newborn filled her with a sense of accomplishment and wonder. It was a reminder of how extraordinary life could be, how deeply one could love, and how precious these first moments with her child truly were. Vaidehi cherished the peaceful serenity of holding her baby, allowing herself to bask in the pure joy and love that surrounded them, knowing that this was the beginning of a new and beautiful chapter in their lives.

Vaidehi: "Ye kitna chota sa hai Ansh."

(He’s so tiny, Ansh.)

Vaidehi tenderly kissed the baby's forehead, her lips brushing against his soft skin. The baby, feeling the warmth and comfort of his mother’s touch, let out a soft, cooing sound that seemed to resonate with an innocent, heartfelt expression. It was as if he was trying to communicate his own feelings of contentment and recognition, a tiny murmur of connection to the person who had carried him for nine months and was now cradling him in her arms. Viyansh leaned closer, his heart swelling with emotion as he listened to the baby’s first sounds.

Baby: "Aee ooii"

As Viyansh and Vaidehi chuckled softly, the room was filled with a warm and joyous atmosphere. The sound of their laughter blended with the baby's gentle coos, creating a perfect symphony of happiness.

Vaidehi: "Mumma loves you beta."

Viyansh: "And papa loves both of his Jaan."

Viyansh kissed the baby's hand gently and then leaned over to kiss Vaidehi's cheeks tenderly. Viyansh, overwhelmed with joy and love, leaned in to kiss Vaidehi's cheeks, his emotions pouring out in the tender gesture. As he did, their newborn son, with a surprising burst of energy, lifted his tiny hand and gave Viyansh a gentle but unmistakable slap on the cheek. Both Viyansh and Vaidehi's eyes widened in shock. The baby, with a serious little frown on his face, seemed to express his own discontent or perhaps confusion at the sudden intrusion of his father's affection. Viyansh, momentarily stunned, looked at his son with wide eyes, his heart racing with a mix of surprise and amusement. Vaidehi, unable to hold back, started giggling uncontrollably. Her laughter filled the room, her joy amplified by the unexpected and humorous gesture from their baby. It was a moment of pure, lighthearted bliss amidst the profound emotions of their new life together.

Vaidehi: "Lagta hai aapka competition aa gaya Ansh."

(Looks like you have some competition now, Ansh.)

Viyansh: "Ek ghanta hua nahi Paida huye aur mujhe meri biwi ke pass aane nahi de rahe hai aap."

(It hasn't even been an hour since you are born, and you're not letting me come near my wife.)

Baby: "Auiiii eooiie"

Vaidehi's laughter bubbled up uncontrollably, her eyes sparkling with joy as she took in the playful slap from their newborn. Viyansh, initially stunned, soon found himself swept up in the infectious humor of the moment. His laughter joined hers, a deep, hearty sound that resonated with pure happiness.

Vaidehi: "Koi baat nahi Ansh, next time humari beti aayegi na tab vo mujhe competition degi."

(It's okay, Ansh. Next time, when our daughter arrives, she'll give me some competition.)

Viyansh’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Vaidehi, who was still giggling at the baby’s reaction.

Viyansh: "Jaan, are you serious? You just gave birth to this little Shaitaan, and now you're talking about another child. You know, even the doctor was shocked and said you're the only patient in her entire career who laughed immediately after giving birth."

Vaidehi: "That's because your wife is unique, right baby?"

Baby: "Eee oiii"

Viyansh chuckled, a warm, heartfelt sound that reflected his joy and love for both Vaidehi and their newborn son. Watching the playful interaction between them, his heart swelled with happiness.

Vaidehi: "and aap bhul gaye kya, humari deal huyi thi 3 babies ki, aap CEO hoke aise deal cancel nahi kar sakte hai Ansh."

(And did you forget? We had a deal for three babies. You can’t cancel the deal just because you're the CEO, Ansh.)

Vaidehi, still giggling, looked at Viyansh and playfully teased. But Viyansh, instead of joining in the teasing, maintained a serious expression. He gently took Vaidehi's hand, his eyes filled with emotion.

Viyansh: "Main tumhe vapas itne dard me nahi dekh sakta jaan, mere liye humari ye choti si family kafi hai."

(I can’t stand to see you in so much pain again, Jaan. For me, this little family of ours is enough.)

Vaidehi smiled warmly, her eyes filled with adoration as she gently patted the baby’s tiny chest.

Vaidehi: "Vo kuch der ka dard tha Ansh, aur ye humari zindagi bhar ki khushi hai, ab bataiye iske samne vo dard toh kuch bhi nahi hai na."

(That pain was just for a little while, Ansh, but this is our lifelong happiness. Now tell me, compared to this joy, that pain is nothing, right?)

Viyansh: "Tumhare liye nahi hoga, par mere liye hai, tumhe dard me dekh ke takleef hoti hai biwi."

( It might not be for you, but it is for me. It hurts me to see you in pain, my love.)

Vaidehi smiled warmly and reached out to caress Viyansh’s cheeks. Her touch was gentle, and her eyes were filled with gratitude and love. Viyansh’s eyes softened as he looked at her.

Vaidehi: "Abhi vo sab chodiye, abhi inhe importance dijiye, see kaise dekh rahe hai ye apne papa ko, inhe attention chahiye."

(Let's leave that aside for now. Focus on him. Look how he's staring at his papa—he wants attention.)

Baby: "Aauuuiiu iiiiiuoo"

Viyansh and Vaidehi chuckled at the baby's antics and got busy with him, marveling at every little movement and sound he made. Their joy was palpable, filling the room with a warmth that was contagious. Soon, the rest of the family members arrived, their faces alight with excitement and love. They congratulated the new parents with hugs and kind words, sharing in the happiness of the moment. Viraj and Virat, always ready to capture special memories, took out their phones and snapped a few pictures.  Viyansh and Vaidehi beamed as they held their baby close, the picture capturing their first moments as a family of three. The baby's wide-eyed curiosity and tiny, delicate features made the photo even more special. Surrounded by their family, Viyansh and Vaidehi felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Their hearts were full, knowing that their journey as parents was just beginning, and they had a wonderful support system to share it with. The family photo became an instant treasure, a symbol of the love and unity that would guide them through the joys and challenges of parenthood. And as they looked around at the smiling faces of their loved ones, Viyansh and Vaidehi knew that their little Jaan was already surrounded by so much love and care.

Sorry for the delay.

Finally, their little Jaan is here. Apologies to those who were expecting a girl. 😜😜 But I hope I met your expectations.
