Chapter 74: "The joy of parenting"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 53518

One fine day, Vaidaksh was sleeping peacefully on the bed, surrounded by pillows to prevent his habit of roaming in his sleep. Vaidehi was getting dressed in her closet while Viyansh had just returned from the gym. As Viyansh entered the room, a smile spread across his face at the sight of Vaidaksh sleeping peacefully. The little one had his hands resting on either side of his head, a pacifier in his mouth, and a cozy blanket covering him up to his chest. His breathing was soft and steady. Although Viyansh wanted to kiss his adorable son, he resisted the urge since he was still sweaty from the gym.

He headed into the closet to grab his fresh clothes and saw Vaidehi standing in front of the vanity, dressed in a green dress. Her dupatta was casually lying on the ottoman beside her, and she was in the process of fastening her earrings. The sight of her made Viyansh pause for a moment, his eyes softening as he admired his wife. Without a second thought, he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into a gentle embrace from behind. Vaidehi caught sight of him in the mirror and smiled, her eyes reflecting the love she felt for him. However, when she felt his slightly damp skin against her, she began to squirm playfully in his arms. But Viyansh only tightened his grip, pressing a soft kiss on the side of her neck.

Viyansh: "Kya kar rahi ho Jaan, rehne do na kuch der."

(What are you doing, Jaan? Just stay with me for a little while.)

Vaidehi: "Kuch der nahi bahaut der aise hi mujhe apne pass rakhiyega par pehle naha ke aaiye, Ansh you are all sweaty and I'm freshly bathe, main nahi nahaungi vapas."

(A little while? You’d keep me here forever if you could. But first, go take a shower, Ansh. You’re all sweaty, and I’m freshly bathed. I’m not going to bathe again.)

Viyansh: "Main nahi chodne wala tumhe, jab dekho nahane ka natak karke mera romance kharab karti hu."

(I’m not letting you go. Every time, you use this "bathe" excuse to ruin our romance.)

As Viyansh nuzzled his face into the crook of Vaidehi’s neck, inhaling her familiar and soothing fragrance, a wave of warmth and longing washed over both of them. His lips brushed against her soft skin, leaving a trail of gentle kisses along her neck, and she could feel his breath hot against her pulse. The sensations sent a shiver down her spine, and all thoughts of resisting him evaporated. Vaidehi stopped wiggling and let herself melt into his embrace, leaning fully against him. She closed her eyes, surrendering to the moment, her breathing growing heavier with each of his tender kisses. Viyansh’s touch was as intoxicating as ever, rekindling the spark between them that had always been there but had been temporarily overshadowed by the joyful chaos of new parenthood. It had been a while since they’d had a moment like this, just the two of them. After Vaidaksh’s birth, their world had shifted to revolve around their little one. Every waking moment was filled with feeding, changing, soothing, and playing with their son, leaving little time for themselves. While they cherished every moment with Vaidaksh, they had missed the quiet intimacy that once defined their relationship.

Viyansh was completely lost in the intoxicating moment, the warmth of Vaidehi’s skin against his lips, her scent enveloping him, and the way she responded to his touch—all of it consumed him. As his hands traced along her arms, sending shivers down her spine, he felt a deep, overwhelming desire to hold her closer. He turned her gently, pinning her against the nearest wall with a tenderness that spoke volumes of his love and yearning for her. Vaidehi’s fingers instinctively tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as his lips continued their journey from her neck to her collarbone. Each kiss he planted was soft yet intense, leaving a burning trail of passion that made her heart race. Her breath hitched as his hand slid down her waist, pulling her firmly against him, while his other hand rested possessively on her neck, his thumb brushing her jawline. When he sucked on that sensitive spot just below her ear, a soft gasp escaped her lips, and she felt her knees go weak. His lips moved up to her cheek, pressing a kiss so close to her lips that it sent a wave of anticipation through her. Vaidehi’s face flushed a deep shade of red, her breaths coming in short, ragged intervals. Her eyes were shut tight, her heart pounding in her chest, and a shy smile played on her lips—a clear sign of how deeply he affected her. Viyansh paused for a moment, taking in the sight of her—so beautiful, so vulnerable, and entirely his. The power he held over her, the way her body responded to his every touch, filled him with a mix of love and mischief. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he leaned in, brushing his lips gently against hers in a teasing peck. Just as Vaidehi’s lips parted slightly, craving more of his kiss, Viyansh pulled back, his lips hovering just above hers. With his breath hot against her skin, he murmured, his voice low and teasing.

Viyansh: "Do I still have this effect on my shy wife?"

Vaidehi gently held Vaidaksh's shoulders and pulled him in for a kiss. Just as their lips met again, Vaidehi pulling Viyansh closer with a fervor that matched his own, the world outside their embrace seemed to fade away. Viyansh's smirk deepened as he felt her responding so passionately, a spark of pride and joy lighting up his heart. However, just as the kiss began to intensify, a small, soft voice broke through their intimate moment.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma."

Vaidehi's eyes widened in shock, and she quickly pushed Viyansh away from her. Her heart raced as she stared at the door, where a figure stood framed in the doorway. She placed her hands over her mouth, her eyes filling with tears of happiness.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, Ansh ye dekhiye ye humara dakshu"

( Ansh, Ansh, look at our Dakshu!)

Viyansh: "Yes jaan, humare Little Jaan ne chalna shuru kar diya hai."

(Yes, Jaan, our little one has started walking.)

Vaidaksh's first independent steps were a significant milestone, and Vaidehi and Viyansh were filled with pride and admiration as they watched their little one. At the moment, Vaidaksh was standing at the door of their closet, his face partially obscured by the edge of his blanket, adding an extra layer of cuteness to the scene.Vaidehi's eyes were misty with joy as she looked at Vaidaksh.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma, bl...ab..... Shu .shushuuuu"

Seeing Vaidaksh struggling with his blanket and on the verge of tears, Vaidehi and Viyansh acted swiftly, their concern for their little one evident in their hurried movements. As they reached him, Vaidehi gently scooped Vaidaksh into her arms, her expression one of tender care. Viyansh carefully removed the blanket that was obstructing Vaidaksh’s view, revealing his flushed face and tearful eyes. Vaidehi cradled him close, her voice soothing as she whispered.

Vaidehi: "Nahi Jaana, rote nahi hai, see dekho papa ne blanket hata diya."

(No, sweetheart, don’t cry. Look, Papa took the blanket away.)

Vaidaksh: "Papa...papa"

Vaidaksh, feeling reassured by his mother's embrace, turned his head slightly and gazed at Viyansh. With a determined yet wobbly motion, he reached out and clung to his father, his tiny arms wrapping around Viyansh’s neck in a heartfelt hug. Viyansh’s eyes softened with emotion as he felt Vaidaksh’s little arms around him. He returned the hug warmly, his hands gently cradling Vaidaksh’s small back.

Vaidaksh: "Papa bl...bla... Bas, bad. Oiiiee huiiii"

Vaidehi and Viyansh chuckled softly at Vaidaksh’s adorable frustration, their hearts swelling with affection for their little one. Viyansh gently rubbed Vaidaksh’s back to soothe him, feeling the tiny tremors of his first attempt at walking. With a tender smile, Viyansh carefully pulled Vaidaksh back a bit, allowing him to regain his balance.

Viyansh: "Yes, little Jaan the blanket is bad."

Vaidehi: "But, jaana aap yaha tak chal ke aaye."

(But, baby, you walked all the way here.)

Vaidaksh nodded and grinned, his excitement palpable. Vaidehi moved back slightly and extended her hands towards him, ready to take him into her embrace.

Vaidehi: "Dakshu, come to Mumma, baby, come."

Viyansh slowly released Vaidaksh but kept his arms around him, ready to catch him if he lost his balance. Viyansh watched with a heart full of joy as Vaidaksh, taking cautious but determined steps, made his way toward Vaidehi. His little face lit up with a radiant smile as he reached her and wrapped his tiny arms around her neck, giggling with pure delight. Vaidehi, beaming with happiness, carefully lifted Vaidaksh into her arms and stood up. She twirled around with him, her laughter mixing with his as he clapped his hands in sheer excitement. The sight of their little one’s joy was infectious, and Viyansh couldn’t help but join in the celebration. With a loving smile, Viyansh enveloped both Vaidehi and Vaidaksh in a warm embrace. He pulled them close, savoring the closeness and the precious moment they were sharing as a family. Vaidaksh continued clapping, his giggles filling the room as he basked in the love and support of his parents. The simple act of their little boy taking his first steps had turned into a beautiful family celebration, with each of them savoring the happiness and connection they shared.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma phiiio she"

(Phir se -again)

Viyansh, with a playful grin, lifted Vaidaksh high into the air, tossing him gently and catching him securely in his arms.

Viyansh: "Ye chalega little jaan ko??"

(Will this be ok little jaan?)

Vaidaksh’s delighted giggles filled the room as he was thrown up and safely caught. His tiny hands clapped together in sheer joy, his face glowing with excitement and happiness.

Vaidaksh: "Papa, phiiio she"

Viyansh and Vaidehi couldn’t help but chuckle at Vaidaksh’s adorable antics. Their hearts were full as they watched their little one revel in the joy of the moment. Viyansh continued to toss Vaidaksh gently into the air, each time eliciting more delighted giggles and claps from him.

Vaidehi: "Koi phir se nahi, Ansh jaiye naha lijiye aur ready ho jaiye office nahi jana hai?"

(Not right now. Ansh, go take a shower and get ready. Don’t you have to go to the office?)

Vaidaksh: "Papa naii naiii dakchu nai nai."

Vaidehi: "Ha din bhar bas nahana rehta hai inhe. Ansh kitni bekaar aadat lagayi hai aapne Daksh ko."

(All you care about is taking showers all day. Ansh, you’ve given Daksh such a bad habit.)

Viyansh: "Kaash tumhe bhi lagva sakta, itne nakhre hai na tumhare biwi, shukr hai humara beta aisa nahi."

(I wish I could get you into the same habit. But you, my dear wife, have so many tantrums. Luckily, our son isn’t like that.)

Vaidehi, with her hands placed firmly on her waist, shot a playful glare at Viyansh. Her expression was a mix of mock sternness and affection as she observed Viyansh's enthusiastic play with their son. Viyansh, holding Vaidaksh comfortably in his arms, caught her look and grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Vaidaksh, feeling the shift in the atmosphere, oscillated his eyes between his parents, sensing their interaction. He snuggled closer to Viyansh, seemingly content and trusting, while occasionally peeking at Vaidehi with his curious little eyes.

Vaidehi: "Haa toh aap nahi uthayenge mere nakhre??"

(Oh, so you won’t pamper me?)

Viyansh: "Arehh jaana Maine kab kaha aisa?? Aapke nakhre nahi uthaunga toh aur kiske uthaunga bachcha."

(When did I ever say that? If I don’t pamper you, then who will I pamper, sweetheart?)

Vaidehi’s cheeks flushed a soft pink as Viyansh leaned in and planted a tender kiss on her cheek, followed by a playful wink. The unexpected gesture left her momentarily wide-eyed, a mixture of surprise and warmth evident in her expression. Her heart fluttered, and she couldn't help but smile, her blush deepening.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, Daksh yahi hai."

(Ansh, Daksh is right here.)

Viyansh: "Little Jaan, can I kiss your Mumma??"

Vaidaksh: "Mumma papa muahh"

Viyansh: "See"

As Viyansh kissed Vaidehi’s cheeks again, Vaidaksh’s eyes lit up with joy. The little one clapped his hands enthusiastically, his giggles filling the room.

Viyansh: "Should we continue what we were doing before this cute little Shaitan showed up?"

Vaidehi blushed and playfully tapped Viyansh's biceps, while he chuckled at her reaction. Vaidaksh watched with curious eyes as his parents shared their playful moment. His innocent gaze shifted from Vaidehi's blushing face to Viyansh's amused chuckle. The little one, still in Viyansh’s arms, occasionally clapped his hands and giggled, enjoying the happy atmosphere but not quite understanding the cause of his parents' affection.

Vaidehi: "Sharam kijiye, ek bachche ke papa hai aap ab."

(Have some shame; you’re a father now.)

Viyansh: "Sharam nahi kiya, isiliye toh ek bachche ka papa hu."

(I didn’t feel any shame, and that’s how I became a father.)

Vaidehi blushed even harder.

Viyansh: "Oh god Jaana, you are so cute Daksh se bhi zyada. Gulab se phool ke takkar dedo aisa blush karti ho."

(Oh God, Jaan, you’re even cuter than Daksh. You blush so beautifully, like a rose blooming.)

Viyansh leaned in again and playfully nibbled and sucked on her cheeks. Viyansh's playful nibbles and gentle sucks on Vaidehi's cheeks made her blush even deeper. She couldn’t help but smile shyly, her cheeks flushed with a mix of affection and embarrassment. Feeling the warmth of Viyansh’s embrace, she buried her face in his chest, savoring the intimacy and the comforting presence of her husband. Vaidaksh, still nestled in Viyansh's arms, watched the interaction with a mixture of curiosity and delight, occasionally clapping his hands in response to the affectionate display.

Vaidehi: "Ewww, Ansh, you’re stinking."

Vaidehi, with a playful yet determined look, gently pushed Viyansh towards the washroom.

Vaidehi: J"aake nahaiye dono bhi."

( Go take a shower, both of you!)

Viyansh chuckled softly as he gave Vaidehi a quick, affectionate peck on the lips, his hands playfully covering Vaidaksh's eyes momentarily. Vaidaksh, with his curious little eyes peeking out from behind Viyansh's hands, looked up at his father with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. Viyansh, finding his son's reaction endearing, chuckled again and gently pulled Vaidaksh's cheeks, making him giggle.

Viyansh: "Nothing that concerns you, little Jaan. Come on, let's give you a bath."

As Viyansh stepped into the washroom with Vaidaksh in his arms, the room was filled with the cheerful sounds of Vaidaksh’s giggles and Viyansh’s soft laughter. Vaidaksh’s curiosity and excitement about his father’s new surroundings made the moment even more delightful. Vaidehi watched them with a warm smile, her heart swelling with love for her family. She appreciated these small, precious moments of togetherness and joy, feeling grateful for the happiness they brought into their lives. After a few moments, Vaidehi could hear the playful splashes and happy exclamations from the washroom, which only deepened her sense of contentment.

........................

As Vaidaksh and Vihaansh reached the adventurous age of two, their boundless energy and curiosity became a full-time job for their parents. The once manageable task of keeping an eye on their crawling babies had transformed into a thrilling challenge of chasing two active toddlers who had mastered the art of running and hiding. On this particular day, the house was a whirlwind of activity. The toddlers, now experts at evading their parents, had found new ways to keep everyone on their toes. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh were infamous for their playful antics, often disappearing to unknown corners of the house, much to the exasperation and amusement of their family. Earlier in the day, as soon as Vaidaksh and Vihaansh had discovered the joy of exploring on their own two feet, they had taken full advantage of their newfound mobility. The house was filled with the sounds of their laughter and the thud of tiny feet running across the floor. Vaidehi and Vanshika, both in high spirits and determined not to let their little explorers out of their sight, had embarked on an intense search mission. The day had started with a minor kitchen mishap: a curious Vaidaksh and Vihaansh had somehow managed to upend a number of spice containers, creating a colorful mess of spices all over the kitchen floor. The trail of chaos led Vaidehi and Vanshika to believe the children were somewhere in the kitchen. As they made their way through the kitchen, the scattered spice containers were a clear sign that their little ones had been there. However, the exact location of their hiding spot remained a mystery.  The search continued with growing frustration and worry. They checked every conceivable hiding place: under the furniture, behind curtains, and even inside the closets. Their calls grew more frantic, but the silence that greeted them only intensified their concern. Eventually, their efforts led them to the kitchen cabinets. When they opened the cabinet doors, they were greeted with the sight of their two little troublemakers huddled inside, surrounded by a sea of discarded spices and peels from the bananas they had been munching on.

The sight was both hilarious and heartwarming. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, with their faces smeared with traces of banana and spice, looked up with the most innocent and adorable smiles. The moment was so endearing that Vaidehi and Vanshika couldn't help but laugh, despite the mess. The sheer cuteness of their little ones, combined with their unapologetic joy, made it impossible to stay upset. The mothers' hearts melted, and their frustration gave way to affectionate amusement. As they picked up the two giggling toddlers, who were now trying to offer them pieces of their stolen bananas as if to apologize, Vaidehi and Vanshika couldn’t help but marvel at their children’s boundless energy and creativity. Despite the challenges, these moments of pure, innocent joy were what made every chaotic day worthwhile.

In the heart of the bustling Singhania home, the living room was transformed into a playground of laughter and mischief. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, now two years old, were in the midst of their favorite game: hide-and-seek. They had decided that the best hiding spot was behind the living room couch, and their tiny feet poking out from beneath the edge betrayed their position. Despite their obvious hiding place, Viraj and Virat, who had a playful routine of spending time with their younger nephews before heading off to work, were fully aware of where the kids were. Their faces wore exaggerated frowns and looks of deep concentration as they searched the room. Viraj peeked behind the curtains with a look of exaggerated surprise, while Virat checked under the coffee table, giving the kids' hiding spot a comically long and scrutinizing look. The scene was filled with the infectious giggles of Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, their small hands clutching the couch as they struggled to contain their laughter. Each time Viraj or Virat came close, their giggles would escalate, and their little feet would wriggle in excitement. Viraj, trying to maintain a serious demeanor, pretended to scratch his head and look around the room with exaggerated confusion.  Virat, playing along, theatrically inspected a houseplant, giving it a suspicious glance as though it might be hiding the children.

Viraj: "Yaar Virat, ye akshu aur Anshu kaha chale gaye?"

(Hey Virat, where have Akshu and Anshu gone?)

Virat: "Ha yaar dikh hi nahi rahe hai na."

(Yeah, I can’t see them anywhere either.)

Viraj: "Akshuuuu"

Virat: "Anshuuuu"

Viraj: "Chachu ke bandar's bahar bhi aa jao."

(Hey, come out, Uncle's monkeys)

Virat: "Bachcho hum thak gaye hai."

(Kids, we’re getting tired.)

Vaidaksh and Vihaansh continued their giggling spree behind the couch, their little voices bubbling with excitement as they tried to stay hidden. Viraj and Virat, sitting on the couch, exchanged amused glances. The brothers, who were quite familiar with their nephews’ antics, decided to play along with the game. With a knowing smile, Viraj and Virat sat back on the couch and closed their eyes.

Viraj: "Main toh thak gaya."

( I’m already tired.)

Virat: "Akshu aur Anshu bahaut smart hai, mil hi nahi rahe."

(Akshu and Anshu are too smart; we can’t find them.)

Viraj: "Chod Virat, aaj aise hi office jaana padega."

(Forget it, Virat. We’ll have to go to the office without finding them.)

Virat: "Haa aaj Akshu aur Anshu ko pyaar nahi karenge."

(Yeah, no love for Akshu and Anshu today.)

Vaidaksh and Vihaansh heard the exchange and both pouted. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, determined to maintain their playful game, slowly emerged from their hiding spot behind the couch. They exchanged knowing glances, their little faces brimming with mischief. They carefully climbed onto the couch from either side, their tiny feet making soft thuds as they moved. Viraj and Virat, still pretending to be oblivious, kept their heads back and eyes closed, though their hearts were melting at the sight of their nephews' determination. The brothers could barely contain their smiles, but they kept up their pretense, making sure the little ones felt victorious in their playful pursuit. As Vaidaksh and Vihaansh reached the top of the couch, they paused for a moment, taking in the sight of their unsuspecting chachus. They looked at each other, their eyes twinkling with a mix of excitement and determination. With a synchronized grin, the brothers prepared for their surprise attack. In a burst of giggles, both Vaidaksh and Vihaansh leaped onto Viraj and Virat, hugging them tightly.

Vaidaksh: "Chachuuuu"

Vihaansh: "Chachuuuu"

Viraj and Virat, unable to hold back any longer, broke into wide smiles. They gently opened their eyes, their faces lighting up. with genuine delight as they looked at their adorable nephews. They wrapped their arms around the boys, returning their hugs with equal fervor. Viraj and Virat, enjoying the sight of their playful nephews, scooped them up into their arms with hearty chuckles. They began a gentle tickling assault, their fingers dancing across the kids’ bellies and sides. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh erupted into fits of giggles, their laughter echoing through the living room. Their tiny bodies wiggled and squirmed, each tickle making them laugh even harder. After a few moments of playful tickling, Viraj and Virat paused, their faces beaming with affection. With tender smiles, Vaidaksh and Vihaansh placed their tiny hands on Viraj and Virat’s cheeks.

Vaidaksh: "Chachu, Akshu aur Anchu ko pyaal kaloo"

(Uncle, love Akshu and Anshu.)

Vihaansh: "Aise hi offiss nahi jao."

(Don’t go to the office like this.)

Viraj and Virat's smiles widened as they playfully pinched the kids' cheeks, their affection evident in every touch. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, now able to speak, eagerly tried to express their joy, though their words were still a bit jumbled.

Viraj: "Hum ja bhi nahi payenge Chachu's ke bandar's."

(We won’t even be able to go)

Virat: "Vahi toh hume yaad aayegi na bandar's ki."

(Exactly, we’ll miss you both too much.)

Vihaansh and Vaidaksh grinned from ear to ear as Viraj and Virat began planting kisses all over their faces. The kids' laughter filled the room, a delightful soundtrack to their playful interaction. Vaidaksh's giggles erupted as Viraj showered him with affectionate kisses, while Vihaansh, equally delighted, basked in the attention from Virat. The kids, now accustomed to the constant flow of kisses from their family, had developed a charming habit. Whenever they found themselves in trouble or had done something mischievous, their first instinct was to shower the other person with kisses. This endearing tactic never failed to melt the hearts of their family members and defuse any lingering frustration or anger.

Vaidaksh's face lit up with excitement as he saw his parents descending the stairs. He quickly scrambled off the couch, his tiny feet barely touching the ground as he sprinted toward them. His little arms were outstretched, ready for the warm embrace he always received from his parents. Vaidehi and Viyansh noticed their son's enthusiastic approach and exchanged a fond smile.

Vaidaksh: "Jaaannnnn, Jaaannnn"

As Vaidaksh reached out to hug Vaidehi, Viyansh swooped in and lifted him up into his arms. Vaidaksh's face fell into a pout as he glared at his father, clearly annoyed by the unexpected interruption.

Vaidaksh: "Dakshu ko Jaan pass Jana."

(Dakshu wants to go to Jaan.)

Viyansh: "Kitni baar kaha hai na mumma hai vo aapki, Jaan vo meri hai."

(How many times have I told you? She’s your mumma, but she’s my Jaan.)

Vaidaksh: "Noo, mumma Dakshu ki jaan hai."

(Nooo, Mumma is Dakshu’s Jaan.)

Viyansh: "Papa ki Jaan hai"

(Papa’s Jaan.)

Vaidaksh: "Dakshu ki Jaan hai."

(Dakshu’s Jaan.)

As Viyansh and Vaidaksh began their playful tug-of-war for Vaidehi’s attention, the room filled with laughter. Viyansh pretended to struggle as Vaidaksh used all his tiny might to wriggle out of his father's arms and reach his mother. Vaidaksh's little hands reached out for Vaidehi, his eyes twinkling with determination. Vaidehi, amused by the lighthearted competition, finally intervened with a gentle smile. She took Vaidaksh into her arms, and as she cradled him close, Viyansh pretended to pout dramatically, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Vaidehi: "Stop now. Mumma dono ki Jaan hai okay?"

(Enough, you two. Mumma is Jaan for both of you, okay?)

Viyansh: "Nooo only mine"

Vaidaksh: "Nooo sirf meli"

(Nooo, only mine.)

Viyansh flicked Vaidaksh's nose gently.

Viyansh: "Aadhe se zyada shabd aap bol nahi pate hai abhi aur Jaan bolna barabar Sikh liya. "

(You can barely pronounce half your words, but you’ve learned how to say "Jaan" perfectly.)

Vaidaksh turned his face towards Vaidehi, wrapping his tiny arms around her neck in a secure embrace. He buried his face into her neck, his little body relaxed as he nestled closer, finding solace in her familiar scent and gentle heartbeat.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma Dakshu ki Jaan."

Viyansh watched with a playful grin as Vaidaksh stuck out his tongue, teasing him in his adorable way. Embracing the moment, Viyansh decided to turn the tables and tease Vaidaksh back.

Viyansh: "Jaana batao ise ki aap meri Jaan hai."

(Jaan, tell him you’re my Jaan.)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma papa ko bolo, mumma Dakshu ki jaan."

(Mumma, tell Papa that Mumma is Dakshu’s Jaan.)

Vaidehi: "Mumma aap dono ki Jaan aur aap dono mumma ki jaan ab khush??"

(Mumma is Jaan for both of you, and you both are Mumma’s Jaan. Now, happy?)

Vaidehi kissed Vaidaksh’s cheeks, making him grin widely. Then, she looked at Viyansh, who turned his face and showed her his cheek, inviting a kiss.

Vaidehi: "What?"

Viyansh: "Where's my kiss?"

Vaidaksh, observing the playful exchange between his parents, placed his tiny hand on his lips and giggled softly.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma papa kissey."

Vaidehi's eyes widened in mock surprise at Viyansh's cheeky grin. Viyansh chuckled, clearly enjoying the playful moment. Vaidehi, in response, gave him a light, affectionate slap on the chest.

Vaidehi: "Has kya rahe hai, kya sikhate hai ise?"

(Why are you laughing? What are you teaching him?)

Viyansh: "Kya galat kya hai?? Ab hum jisse pyaar karte hai use hi kiss karte hai na, chalo bachcha jaldi se meri kissey do, hai na little Jaan?"

(What’s wrong with that? We kiss the ones we love, right? Come on, little one, quickly give Papa a kiss, right, little Jaan?)

Vaidaksh nodded enthusiasticall. Vaidehi looked at him, and a blush crept up her cheeks.

Vaidehi: "Ansh"

Viyansh: "Dakshu, beta aakhein band karo."

(Dakshu, close your eyes, son.)

Vaidaksh, his eyes squeezed shut with his tiny hands covering them, giggled at the playful interaction between his parents. Viyansh, with a broad grin, turned his cheek towards Vaidehi. She shook her head, smiling, and gave Viyansh a quick peck on the cheek, which only made him grin even wider. Both Vaidaksh and Vaidehi chuckled, their laughter filling the room with warmth. The trio then headed towards the dining table for breakfast.

Vihaan and Vanshika, along with their little bundle of joy, Vihaansh, joined them at the table. Virat and Vikram also arrived, and Vikram inquired about Viraj. Virat explained that Viraj had received a call and would be joining them soon. The family settled in, their chatter and laughter creating a lively and joyful breakfast atmosphere.

In Viraj's room, he stood on the balcony, phone pressed to his ear.

Viraj: "Yaar tum samajh kyu nahi rahi ho??"

(Why don’t you understand?)

Girl: "Kya samjhu main, aap batao na main kab bheju papa ko rishta leke?"

(What should I understand? Just tell me when I should send Papa with the proposal.)

Viraj: "God, Miku tumne kal hi mujhe propose kiya aur Aaj tumhe shadi karni hai? Ek hi din me girlfriend wale nakhre shuru"

(God, Miku, you proposed to me just yesterday, and today you want to get married? You’re already starting the girlfriend demands on the first day?)

Girl: "Girlfriend nahi fiance boliye samjhe na. Aur yaar jawani me shadi ka nahi sochungi toh kya budhape me?"

( Not girlfriend, say fiancée. And listen, if I don’t think about marriage in my youth, should I think about it in old age?)

Viraj: "Exams khatam ho gaye hai, job kyu nahi dundhti tum??"

(Your exams are over. Why don’t you look for a job?)

Girl: "Aap mera housewife banne ka sapna pura nahi hone denge na?? Zara se mere aur humare bachcho ke kharche nahi utha sakte aap, kya fayda aapka COO banne ka??"

(You won’t let me fulfill my dream of becoming a housewife, will you? Can’t you even support a few expenses for me and our future kids? What’s the point of you becoming a COO then?)

Viraj's expression shifted from calm to shock and embarrassment as he listened to the voice on the other end of the line. His cheeks flushed a deep red, and he found himself momentarily at a loss for words. The topic of the conversation, which revolved around the idea of having children, clearly took him by surprise. As he processed the unexpected suggestion, he couldn't help but think to himself, "Why can't she think of something else other than having kids?"

Viraj: "Maine Aisa nahi kaha ki main tumhare kharche nahi utha sakta Miku, main Khushi Khushi ye karne ko taiyaar hu par Main bas keh raha tha, you should be independent na just like your sister."

(I never said I couldn’t support you, Miku. I’m more than happy to do so. I’m just saying you should be independent, just like your sister.)

Girl: "Di?? Di ki toh baat hi mat karo aap, di khud Virat Bhai ke khayalo me pagal hai."

(My sister? Don’t even talk about her. She’s crazy about Virat Bhai.)

Viraj: "Whatt??"

Girl: "Haa jab se Virat Bhai se mili hai, bas din bhar unke bare me hi kehti hai, aur aap jante hai kuch dino se dono ki baatein bhi shuru huyi hai."

(Yeah, ever since she met Virat Bhai, she’s been talking about him all day long. And you know, they’ve even started chatting recently.)

Viraj's expression shifted to seriousness, his playful demeanor replaced by a more focused look.

Viraj: "Miku, don’t get me wrong, but is your sister serious about Virat?"

Girl: "I don’t know, but it seems like that."

Viraj: "See, if there’s nothing in her heart, then please ask her to stop. Virat is very sensitive and emotional, aur main apne bhai ke sath kuch bhi galat bardaash nahi karunga."

(and I won’t tolerate anything wrong happening to my brother.)

Girl: "Cookie, aap tension mat lijiye, meri di bahaut achchi hai unhe life me pehle baar koi pasand aaya, so please ye matter un dono ko hi sambhalne dijiye."

(Cookie, don’t worry. My sister is a really good person, and this is the first time she’s liked someone. So, please let them handle this matter themselves.)

Viraj: "Fine, but ask her to be careful."

(Fine, but ask her to be careful.)

Girl: "Jii, aap vo sab chodiye aap humare bare me sochiye na, kab batayenge sabko??"

(Okay, but forget all that. Let’s focus on us. When will you tell everyone?)

Viraj: "Main pehle bhabhi maa aur bhabhs se baat karunga phir sabse."

(I’ll talk to Bhabhi Maa and Bhabhs first, then everyone else.)

Girl: "Thik hai aaj kar lijiye, main papa ko kal bhejti hu."

(Fine, do it today. I’ll send Papa tomorrow.)

Viraj chuckled at her enthusiasm, finding her energy and excitement amusing.

Viraj: "Yaar, miku bachcha thoda waqt toh do. And vaise bhi maine abhi abhi COO ki post Li hai, I want to be a little stable in my career and then main khud aake uncle se baat karunga. Sambhi girlfriend?"

(Miku, sweetheart, give me a little time. Besides, I’ve just taken up the COO position. I want to be a bit more stable in my career first, then I’ll talk to your uncle myself. Okay, girlfriend?)

Her mood shifted to sadness.

Girl: "Girlfriend bolke mujhe bhagane ka toh nahi socha hai na?? Dekhiye main chipak gayi hu aapse maine 3 saal mehnat ki hai tab jaake aap hath aaye ho main aise Jane nahi dungi aapko."

(You’re not thinking of running away by calling me your girlfriend, are you? Look, I’ve stuck to you. It took me three years of hard work to win you over; I’m not letting you go that easily.)

Viraj smiled warmly and shook his head.

Viraj: "Tum kahogi bhi tab bhi tumhe nahi chodne wala main meri Jaan, par bas kuch waqt aur ruk jao Meri Miku please."

(Even if you ask me to leave, I won’t, my love. But just give me a little more time, my Miku, please.)

Miku: "Aur kitna waqt cookie, mujhe aapse shadi karni hai, ghar basana hai, bachche karne hai."

( How much more time, Cookie? I want to marry you, start a home, have kids.)

Viraj shut his eyes and blushed, clearly flustered by the situation.

Viraj: "Tumhari sui har baar bachcho pe kaise aa jati hai."

(Why do you always end up talking about kids?)

Miku: " Ab shadi ke baad havan toh karenge nahi, bachche hi karenge na every year ek bachcha."

(Well, after marriage, we’re not going to perform any rituals; we’ll have kids every year, one after another.)

Viraj widened his eyes, thinking to himself how he would handle her shamelessness, clearly taken aback by her boldness.

Viraj: "Tum pagal ho gayi ho. Main ja raha hu office ke liye late ho raha hai."

( You’ve gone crazy. I’m going to the office; I’m getting late.)

Miku: "Thik hai ji, jaldi aaiyega aapki biwi intezar karegi. Bye bye cookie love you. "

(Fine, come back soon. Your wife will be waiting for you. Bye-bye, Cookie, love you.)

Viraj: "Bye love you too Miku."

Viraj disconnected the call, blushing at Miku's words and smiling as he reminisced about how she had proposed to him the previous night. He went downstairs and joined everyone for breakfast, where Vaidehi noticed his flushed cheeks and curious expression.

Vaidehi: "Raj, kya hua?""

(Raj, what happened?)

Viraj knew he couldn’t hide anything from her.

Viraj: "Aapko kuch batana tha, shaam ko coffee date?"

( I need to tell you something. How about a coffee date this evening?)

Vaidehi smiled and nodded, while the other family members paid little attention to his words, as it was just part of their usual interactions.

Viyansh: "Mere samne meri biwi ko date ke liye puchte sharam nahi aati?"

(You have no shame asking my wife out on a date right in front of me?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma no date. Hai na papa?"

Viyansh: "Yes Mumma's little bodyguard."

Vaidehi and Viraj chuckled at the playful antics of Viyansh and Vaidaksh.

Vihaansh: "Mumma palatha."

Vihaan: "Anshu, aap aur nahi kha paoge beta."

(Anshu, you can't eat any more, son.)

Vihaansh: "Papa, palatha do na."

(Papa, give me paratha, please.)

Vanshika: "Kya hai Vihh, kyu mana kar rahe hai use??"

(What is it, Vihh? Why are you refusing him?)

Vanshika shot Vihaan a stern look, causing him to quickly silence himself. Meanwhile, Vihaansh giggled, and Vanshika continued to feed him another piece of paratha. But as Vihaan said he didn't ate any other bite.

Vihaansh: "Mumma, tummy full"

Vihaan: "Dekha kaha tha na."

(See, I told you so.)

Vihaan's stern glare was met with a quick, mischievous glance from both Vanshika and Vihaansh. Instantly, they held their ears in a playful gesture of mock apology.

Vanshika: "Vihh sorry"

Vihaansh: "Papa Sholly."

Vihaan chuckled and shook his head, finding their antics both amusing and endearing.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma blocolli"

Virat: "Yaar bhai ye aapne Akshu ko apne jaisa kyu banaya hai, jab dekho healthy cheeze hi khata hai."

Viyansh: "Kyuki Mera beta samajhdaar hai."

( Because my son is smart.)

Vaidaksh’s face lit up with a proud grin as he heard Viyansh’s praise, and he responded with a tender kiss on his father’s cheek. Viyansh’s smile grew wider, touched by his son's affection. Vaidehi gently fed Vaidaksh some boiled broccoli, encouraging him to enjoy his healthy breakfast. Vikram, watching the family interact with warmth and love, couldn’t help but smile at the joyful scene unfolding before him.

Virat received a call and, after briefly excusing himself, headed to his room to take it.

Virat: "Hiii"

Girl: "Hello."

Virat picked up the call, and from the tone, it was clear that both parties on the line were sounding a little hesitant.

Girl: "Hmm, are you free today?"

Virat: "Ahh, yeah, in the evening."

Girl: "Can we meet?"

Virat: "Why?"

Girl: "Bas yunhi, aap ne kaha tha hum dost hai, toh Kya do dost mil nahi sakte??"

(Just like that, you said we’re friends, so can’t two friends meet?)

Virat scratched his neck with a shy smile.

Virat: "Ok I'll come. Kaha aana hai??"

(Where should I go?)

Girl: "umm mere office aa jayenge mujhe pick karne, vo main aaj car leke nahi aayi hu phir sath me decide kar lenge."

(Umm, can you come to my office to pick me up? I didn't bring my car today, and we can decide where to go together.)

Virat: "Okay I'll be there."

Girl: "Ohhkayy"

Virat: "Main rakhu phone??"

(Should I hang up?)

Girl: "Kyu??"

(Why?)

The girl on the other end of the call asked absent-mindedly.

Virat: "Jii??"

(Sorry, what?)

Girl: "Ahh yeah I mean bye shaam ko milte hai."

(Ahh, yeah, I mean, bye, see you in the evening.)

She quickly disconnected the call, and Virat, with a smile still lingering on his face, returned to his tasks. As the day progressed, everyone went about their respective activities, each immersed in their own routines.

Vaidehi and Vanshika were enjoying a relaxed afternoon in the nursery, having just wrapped up their alphabet lesson with Vaidaksh and Vihaansh. While Vihaansh played with Vanshika's braids, moving them around with curiosity, the two mothers chatted casually, discussing their plans and sharing updates.

Vaidaksh, however, was sulking, his little face scrunched up in frustration. His pout was noticeable, and he seemed to be unhappy.

Vaidaksh: "Mummmaaa"

Vaidaksh’s shout caught everyone’s attention in the room. Vaidehi and Vanshika immediately turned their heads toward him, their expressions shifting to concern and curiosity. Vihaansh, momentarily distracted from playing with Vanshika’s braids, looked up, intrigued by the sudden noise.

Vihaansh: "Bhai tya hua??"

(Bhai, what happened?)

Vaidehi: "Kya hua jaana??"

(What happened, sweetheart?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma papa ko phone kalo"

(Mumma, call Papa on the phone.)

Vaidehi: "Aapko papa ki yaad aa rahi hai??"

(Are you missing Papa?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma phone kalo na vileo call"

(Mumma, call him on video call.)

Vaidehi, puzzled by Vaidaksh’s sudden outburst, was momentarily taken aback. Noticing the tears welling up in Vaidaksh’s eyes, she quickly grabbed her phone and initiated a video call to Viyansh, her concern growing. As she comforted Vaidaksh by gently patting his head, she hoped the presence of his father would help calm him down. Viyansh answered the call within a few rings. His face appeared on the screen.

Viyansh: "Heyy, bachcha kya kar rahi ho Jaan?"

(Hey, baby, what are you doing, Jaan?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh, daksh ko pata nahi kya hua keh raha hai papa ko call Karo."

(Ansh, Daksh is acting strange; he’s saying to call Papa.)

Viyansh: "Achcha, kya hua?"

(Oh really, what's the matter?)

Vaidaksh reached for the phone from Vaidehi’s hand, his tiny fingers wrapping around it with determination. He held it up to his face, his eyes brimming with hope and his lips forming a small pout as he gazed at Viyansh.

Vaidaksh: "Papaaa"

Viyansh: "Kya hua papa ki little Jaan ko? Kyu aise rone jaisa chahra kiya hua hai??"

(What's wrong, Papa's little Jaan? Why do you have a sad face?)

Vaidaksh: "Papa yee"

Vaidaksh displayed his Spider-Man toy to Viyansh through the phone screen, his face full of anticipation. Viyansh looked puzzled, trying to understand the significance. Seeing this, Vaidaksh turned the phone back towards himself, still holding the toy.

Vaidaksh: "Papa, spidel man parayi nahi kal laha hai, iske liye books lao."

(Papa, Spider-Man isn’t studying. Bring books for him.)

Vanshika and Vaidehi struggled to hold back their laughter. Viyansh, amused by his son's endearing request, chuckled softly, enjoying the adorable moment.

Vaidaksh: "Papa haso nahi. Book laooo"

(Papa, don't laugh. Bring the books.)

Viyansh: "Ok Beta, papa shaam ko books le aayenge daksh ke spider man ke liye. Happy??"

(Okay, son. Papa will bring books for Daksh’s Spider-Man this evening. Happy now?)

Vaidaksh grinned.

Vaidaksh: "Papa luww you"

Viyansh: "papa also loves you Chutku."

Vaidehi took the call and Chuckled.

Vaidehi: "Ok Ansh, book laake spider man ko aap hi padhaiyega. Hai na Daksh?"

(Okay, Ansh, once the books are here, you’ll teach Spider-Man, right, Daksh?)

Vaidaksh: "Yes mumma."

They all giggled and ended the call. Vihaansh then came over, placed the Spider-Man toy on Vihaansh’s book of pictures, and hugged him, gently patting his back to comfort him.

Vihaansh: "Spidel man meli book se parayi kal lega Bhai, aap lona hai."

(Spider-Man will study from my book, Bhai. You don't cry)

Vaidaksh: "Ok Anshu."

Both brothers grinned and fell back onto the bed, still wrapped in each other's embrace, and soon drifted off to sleep. Vaidehi and Vanshika watched them with warm smiles, touched by their adorable bond and peaceful slumber.

Their days flowed peacefully, filled with the laughter and antics of their little ones. The house was a lively, joyful place, with Vaidaksh and Vihaansh's playful energy brightening every moment. Each day brought its own set of happy routines and cherished memories, creating a warm and loving atmosphere for the entire family.

Vaidaksh, now three years old, and his brother Vihaansh had begun attending school a week ago. The first day was particularly emotional for Vaidehi and Vanshika. Both mothers were overwhelmed with tears at the thought of their little ones being away from home and navigating a new environment on their own. The experience was profoundly heart-wrenching for them, and they struggled with the separation. Viyansh and Vihaan found themselves in the challenging position of consoling their partners, offering comfort and reassurance. Through their support and encouragement, they managed to help Vaidehi and Vanshika come to terms with this new chapter in their children’s lives.

On this sunny Sunday morning, Viyansh awoke to a heartwarming sight—Vaidehi and Vaidaksh peacefully sleeping, wrapped in a cozy embrace. With a gentle smile, Viyansh carefully lifted Vaidaksh and placed him on the bed. The little boy, instinctively, snuggled closer to his mother, seeking the warmth and comfort of her presence.

As Viyansh kissed both Vaidehi and Vaidaksh’s foreheads tenderly, he made his way to the closet to prepare for his gym session. However, Vaidaksh, who was much like his father in both looks and behavior, stirred awake. Noticing Viyansh emerging from the closet, Vaidaksh’s mischievous grin widened.

With a playful glint in his eyes, Vaidaksh shuffled closer to Vaidehi and planted a sweet kiss on her cheek. Viyansh, catching the little act of affection, gave Vaidaksh a mock glare and approached him with a grin, ready to engage in their usual playful banter.

Viyansh: "Stay away from my wife, you little Jaan."

Vaidaksh, still reveling in his playful mood, continued to tease Viyansh by snuggling deeper into Vaidehi's chest. With a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, he made sure to enjoy the moment as much as possible. Viyansh, not one to back down from a challenge, joined in the fun by settling himself on the bed and cuddling up to Vaidehi's other side.

The two of them began a lighthearted competition, showering Vaidehi with affectionate kisses on her cheeks. The playful contest caused her to stir slightly in her sleep, which made them pause their antics. After exchanging a few amused glances, Viyansh carefully moved away, respecting Vaidehi's need for rest.

Vaidaksh reached out with his tiny arms, signaling for Viyansh to pick him up. With a gentle smile, Viyansh lifted his son and settled him beside Vaidehi on the bed.

Viyansh: "Little Jaan, mumma kal thak gayi thi toh unko pareshan nahi karna aap okay??"

(Little Jaan, Mumma was tired yesterday, so don’t bother her, okay?)

Viyansh whispered softly, and Vaidaksh nodded in response.

Viyansh: "Papa, gym ja rahe hai, aap yahi pe khelna okay?"

(Papa is going to the gym. You stay here and play, okay?)

Vaidaksh: "Papa, Dakshu bhi gym. "

(Papa, Dakshu also wants to go to the gym.)

Viyansh chuckled lightly.

Viyansh: "Jaana aap kya karenge vaha?"

(What will you do there, sweetheart?)

Vaidaksh: "Papa pleazzzzzz"

Viyansh: "Achcha ji chaliye. "

(Okay, fine.)

Viyansh gently covered Vaidehi with the duvet, ensuring she was warm and comfortable. He leaned down to kiss her forehead tenderly. Watching his father's affectionate gesture, Vaidaksh mimicked the action, bending over to plant a kiss on Vaidehi’s forehead himself. Afterward, he flashed a proud grin at Viyansh.

Viyansh couldn't help but chuckle at his son's endearing imitation and possessiveness. He scooped Vaidaksh into his arms and carried him to the gym. Once there, Viyansh set Vaidaksh down on a chair and handed him his favorite toy to keep him entertained.

Viyansh: "Ab aap yaha kheliye, papa workout karenge, okay??"

(Now you play here, Papa will work out, okay?)

Vaidaksh nodded and started playing with his toy and Viyansh started doing his workout. Sometime later Vaidaksh watched his father intently as he did push-ups, clearly intrigued by the activity. After a while, boredom set in, and Vaidaksh decided to investigate further. He climbed down from his chair and toddled over to where Viyansh was working out. His tiny steps were determined, his curiosity piqued by the physical exertion he saw his father performing.

Vaidaksh: "Papa, Dakshu bhi puu up"

Viyansh noticed Vaidaksh approaching with an amused grin. He paused his push-ups, giggled and extended his arm, pulling his little boy closer.

Viyansh: "Beta aapko karne ki zarurat nahi hai."

(Yon, you don’t need to do it.)

Vaidaksh: "No papa, Dakshu stong phir main bhi mumma ko uthaunga."

(No, Papa. Dakshu will be strong, then I'll lift Mumma too.)

Viyansh: "Heyyyy, meri biwi hai vo only I can lift her."

(Heyyyy, she’s my wife. Only I can lift her.)

Vaidaksh: "My mumma, now teach me."

Viyansh: "Noo"

Vaidaksh: "Yess"

Seeing Vaidaksh’s pout, Viyansh’s heart melted instantly.

Viyansh: "Achcha ok ok, now copy me ok?"

Vaidaksh nodded, and Viyansh assumed the plank position, with Vaidaksh mirroring him.

Viyansh noticed Vaidaksh trying his best to mimic him with the push-ups, and when Vaidaksh eventually sat down with a pout, Viyansh joined him on the floor. He wrapped an arm around his little boy.

Viyansh: "what happened baby."

Vaidaksh: "Hands paining."

Viyansh chuckled warmly and playfully pulled Vaidaksh's cheeks.

Viyansh: "Ok, aapko mumma ke style se push ups karne hai??"

(Okay, do you want to do push-ups Mumma's style?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma puu ups?"

Viyansh: "Yess, aapko karna hai?"

(Yes, do you want to do it?)

Vaidaksh nodded. Viyansh lay down on his stomach, setting up for his next set of exercises.

Viyansh: "Okay, now come and sit on Papa's back."

Viyansh chuckled as Vaidaksh, grinning widely, plopped down on his back. As Viyansh continued with his push-ups, Vaidaksh giggled with delight, thoroughly enjoying the new twist to their workout routine. Each push-up caused Vaidaksh to bounce slightly, making him laugh even more. Viyansh glanced back, his smile broadening at the sight of his son's infectious joy.

Viyansh: "Papa stong, hehe."

Viyansh chuckled, enjoying the playful moments with Vaidaksh as he continued his workout. Vaidaksh gleefully shifted between sitting on Viyansh’s back and shoulders, his laughter filling the room with joy.

Once they returned to the bedroom, they found Vaidehi already awake and getting ready for the day. Vaidaksh, full of excitement, dashed over to his mom and started enthusiastically recounting his gym adventure. Vaidehi smiled warmly at his animated chatter, her heart swelling with love.

Just then, Viyansh received a call from Viraj. He stepped out of the room to take the call, leaving Vaidehi and Vaidaksh to their morning routine. Vaidehi then guided Vaidaksh towards the bathroom, preparing to give him a refreshing bath and continue their day.

Viyansh returned to the room and couldn’t help but smile at the sight before him. Vaidehi was in hot pursuit of Vaidaksh, who was dashing around the room with nothing but a towel wrapped around his small body. His giggles filled the room as he clapped his hands, clearly enjoying the playful chase.

Vaidaksh: "mumma no catch dakshu."

Vaidehi: "Daksh, jaldi se nahane chaliye nahi toh mumma gussa."

Vaidaksh, now standing on the bed, started giggling.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma never gusshha"

Viyansh chuckled as he entered the room, wrapping his arms around Vaidehi from behind. Vaidaksh turned his head to glare at his father, clearly unimpressed by the intrusion into his fun. Viyansh, undeterred, leaned in and playfully kissed Vaidehi's cheeks, his actions only serving to tease Vaidaksh further.

Seeing his father’s antics, Vaidaksh placed his tiny hands on his waist, a gesture of mock indignation. His little pout and stern expression were in stark contrast to the joyful giggles that filled the room, making the moment all the more endearing.

Viyansh: "Kyu khud ko pareshan kar rahi hu bachcha??"

(Why are you troubling yourself, sweetheart?)

Vaidehi: "Ansh, pakadiye na is badmaash ko. Dekhiye towel me ghum raha hai, kitna sata raha hai mujhe."

(Ansh, please catch this naughty boy. Look at him, roaming around with a towel, troubling me so much.)

Viyansh: "Little Jaan kyu sata rahe hai aap apni mumma ko??"

(Little Jaan, why are you troubling Mumma?)

Vaidaksh: My mumma my Jaan, meri mumma choro

(leave my Mumma.)

Viyansh hugged Vaidehi more tightly, enjoying the closeness. Vaidaksh, feeling a mix of jealousy and determination, waddled over to them and tried to push his father away from his mumma. He put all his little strength into the effort, his tiny hands pressing against Viyansh’s legs. Despite Vaidaksh's attempts, Viyansh continued to tease, leaning in to plant playful kisses on Vaidehi's cheeks and spinning her around gently.

Vaidehi: "Ahhh"

Viyansh: "Kya hua Bachcha?"

(What happened, sweetheart?)

Vaidehi held her head in her hands as Viyansh sat down on the bed. Vaidaksh joined him, coming to sit beside her.

Vaidehi: "Kya laga rakha hai dono ne subah subah pagal kar rakha hai mujhe."

(What have both of you been up to since morning? You're driving me crazy.)

Vaidaksh and Viyansh exchanged puzzled glances, unsure why Vaidehi was scolding them when this playful routine was part of their daily life. Despite their confusion, they both dutifully held their ears, lowered their heads in a gesture of apology.

Viyansh: "Sorry Jaan"

Vaidaksh: "Sholly mumma."

Vaidehi: "Thik hai, main niche ja rahi hu. Ansh aap Dakshu nehla dijiye"

(Fine, I’m going downstairs. Ansh, you bathe Dakshu.)

Vaidehi stood up, but a wave of dizziness made her sway slightly. Viyansh quickly moved to her side, his hands steadying her and ensuring she didn’t lose her balance.

Viyansh: "Jaan??"

Vaidehi: "Nothing bas vo aapne ghumaya toh chakkar aa gaye."

(Nothing, just feeling dizzy from all the spinning.)

Viyansh: "Sure??"

Vaidehi: "Haa baba, itne sawal kya karte hai. Jaake nahaiye dono bhi."

(Yes. Why do you ask so many questions? Go and take a bath, both of you.)

Vaidehi went downstairs, leaving the father and son duo exchanging glances. They looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders, bemused by her departure.  Viyansh and Vaidaksh were in their own little world, making the most of their time together. Viyansh lifted Vaidaksh into his arms and carried him into the washroom.

Inside, the atmosphere was filled with laughter as water splashed everywhere. Vaidaksh giggled uncontrollably, his tiny hands reaching out to splash Viyansh, who responded with equal enthusiasm. The room was a mess of water droplets and playful splashes, but the joy and bonding between father and son made it all worthwhile. They were lost in their fun, their playful banter filling the space with warmth and happiness.
