Chapter 79: "Heartwarming Scenes"

Whispers of RomanceWords: 35992

In the doctor’s cabin, a sense of nervous anticipation filled the air. Vaidehi held Viyana close, gently soothing her with soft whispers, while Viyakshi clung to Viyansh, her tiny arms wrapped around his neck. Vaidaksh, always the protective older brother, stood beside his parents, watching the doctor intently as he prepared the injections. Viyana and Viyakshi, sensing something was about to happen, looked between their parents and the doctor, their eyes wide with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

Viyansh: "Doctor please thoda araam se karna ha"

(Doctor, please be a little gentle.)

Vaidaksh: "Meri sisters bahaut choti hai doctor uncle unko pain hoga."

(My sisters are very small, Doctor Uncle. It will hurt them.)

Viyansh: "Vaise ye vaccination ka alternative nahi hai like any syrup of something???"

(By the way, is there no alternative to this vaccination, like a syrup or something?)

Doctor: "Mr. Singhania, you ask this question every time. And please aap ye apne bete ko mat leke aaya kijiye."

(Mr. Singhania, you ask this question every time. And please, stop bringing your son with you.)

Vaidehi couldn’t help but chuckle softly at the scene. Viyansh and Vaidaksh were both glaring at the doctor, their protective instincts on full display. Viyana and Viyakshi, still in their parents’ arms, were wide-eyed as they observed everything, their little faces filled with curiosity.

Doctor: "Okay who's first??"

Viyansh, feeling protective, instinctively hugged Viyakshi more tightly as if shielding her from the impending vaccination. Vaidehi, noticing his actions, shook her head gently, amused by his overprotectiveness. She then started heading towards the doctor with Viyana in her arms, ready for her turn, but before she could reach the doctor, Viyansh quickly held her hand, stopping her in her tracks.

Viyansh: "Jaana, aaj rehne dete hai kal aa jayenge."

(Jaana, let's leave it for today. We'll come back tomorrow.)

Vaidaksh: "Haa mumma, papa is right."

Vaidehi: "Shut up, both of you."

Viyansh and Vaidaksh fell silent, their concern evident in their eyes as they watched the scene unfold. Vaidehi gently placed Viyana on the examination bed, preparing her for the vaccination. The doctor, experienced in handling such moments, spoke in a soothing tone, trying to comfort Viyana as she administered the injection. Viyana, being a perceptive and observant baby, watched the entire process with wide eyes. The moment the needle pricked her skin, her face crumpled, and she let out a loud, heart-wrenching cry. Her tiny body shook with the intensity of her sobs, the sudden pain overwhelming her. Without missing a beat, Vaidehi quickly scooped Viyana back into her arms, holding her close. She began to rock her gently, rubbing her back in slow, comforting circles.

Vaidehi: "Shhh baby, rote nahi kuch nahi hua, shhh mumma ki fairy strong na."

(Shhh, baby, don’t cry. Nothing happened. Shhh, Mumma's fairy is strong, right?)

Vaidehi tenderly guided Viyana's tear-streaked face into the crook of her neck, continuing to rub her back in slow, soothing motions. Gradually, Viyana's cries began to soften, the comfort of her mother's embrace calming her little heart. As Vaidehi comforted Viyana, she glanced over at Viyansh, who was holding Viyakshi tightly, clearly hesitant to take her towards the doctor for her turn. Seeing his reluctance, Vaidehi shook her head with a knowing smile, understanding his protective instinct but knowing it was necessary.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, ye lijiye viyu ko aap ko, aur akshi ko mujhe dijiye."

(Ansh, here, you take Viyu, and give me Akshi.)

Viyansh: "Bilkul nahi, tum meri princess ko bhi injection lagva dogi."

(Absolutely not. You'll get an injection for my princess too.)

Vaidehi cast a stern glance at Viyansh, who, with a heavy heart, gently transferred the sobbing Viyana into his arms and handed Viyakshi over to her. With a resigned sigh, he watched as Vaidehi took Viyakshi to the bed. The doctor, having seen the family's distress, administered the injection to Viyakshi with as much gentleness as possible. Despite the doctor's best efforts, Viyakshi’s cries erupted in tandem with her sister’s. Vaidehi swiftly scooped her up, enveloping her in a comforting embrace. She began to rock Viyakshi gently, rubbing her back in rhythmic strokes while whispering soothing words, trying to ease her distress.

Doctor: "Ok ab aap sab ja sakte hai, bahar next room me babies ke liye toys hai they'll get pacified."

(Okay, now you can all leave. There are toys in the next room for the babies; they'll get pacified.)

Vaidehi nodded in understanding, and the family left the doctor's cabin. They made their way to the room adjacent to the clinic, where they could settle down and comfort their little ones in a more relaxed setting.

Vaidehi: "Areh akshii bachcha rote nahi see viyu bhi chup ho gayi na."

(Oh, Akshi, baby, don’t cry. See, Viyu has already stopped crying.)

Viyana: "Mummmaaa"

Viyana reached out her tiny hands towards Vaidehi, who gently took her into her arms alongside Viyakshi. Vaidehi began to walk around the room, soothing her babies as they nestled against her neck, their cries gradually subsiding as both were sucking her neck. Although the growing teeth of the babies made her neck tender, she bore the discomfort silently, continuing to comfort them with soft whispers and gentle rocking. Eventually, both Viyana and Viyakshi drifted off to sleep, and Vaidehi felt a wave of relief wash over her. Just as she allowed herself a sigh of relief, content to see her babies finally at peace, she was startled by the sound of more sobbing. She turned to find Viyansh and Vaidaksh, who were embracing each other tightly and weeping quietly. Vaidehi shook her head with a soft smile, touched by the emotional display of her family.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, daksh, fairies so gayi hai, nahi ro rahi hai, ab aap dono bhi Rona band karo."

(Ansh, Daksh, the fairies have fallen asleep. They’re not crying anymore, so you two stop crying as well.)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma main us doctor ko chodunga nahi."

(Mumma, I won't spare that doctor.)

Viyansh: "Aaj hi Vihaan ko bol ke case karta hu uspe main, meri bachchio ko rula diya."

(Today itself, I’ll ask Vihaan to file a case against him. He made my daughters cry.)

Vaidaksh: "Papa I guess unhe aata hi nahi hai injection lagana, Varna angel aur princess itna nahi roti."

(Papa, I guess he doesn't even know how to give injections. Otherwise, Angel and Princess wouldn’t have cried this much.)

Viyansh: "Correct, Little Jaan, this doctor is so finished."

Vaidehi: "Shut up both of you. Chalo chup chap ghar."

(Let's quietly go home.)

Vaidehi shot a disapproving glance at both Viyansh and Vaidaksh, causing them to lower their heads in apology. She then made her way toward the door, with Viyansh and Vaidaksh trailing behind her. Upon arriving home, Vaidehi entered their bedroom, cradling the sleeping Viyana and Viyakshi in her arms. Despite Viyansh’s attempts to hold them, the twins clung to their mother, even in their sleep. Gently, Vaidehi placed them on the bed, arranging their little bodies carefully. Viyansh swiftly took to arranging pillows around them and pulling the duvet snugly over them. Meanwhile, Vaidaksh was downstairs, spending time with Vihaan and Vansh. Viyana and Viyakshi shifted in their sleep, embraced each other, and began to suck on each other's fingers.

Vaidehi gazed lovingly at her twin daughters, her eyes reflecting a deep affection. Viyansh, too, admired the sight of their daughters with a sense of wonder and pride. Turning to Viyansh, Vaidehi gathered her hair and expertly fashioned it into a neat bun.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, main fresh hoke aati hu."

(Ansh, I'll go freshen up.)

Viyansh watched her with widening eyes.

Viyansh: "Bachchaaaaa"

Vaidehi: "Kya hua??"

(What happened?)

Viyansh moved closer to Vaidehi, his gaze softening as he gently cupped her cheeks with both hands. His touch was tender as he let his fingers glide down to her neck, rubbing it soothingly.

Viyansh: "Jaana ye kya hua??"

(Jaana, what happened here?)

Vaidehi lightly touched her neck where Viyansh's hand had been.

Vaidehi: "Ohh ye, ye in dono ka kiya dhara hai, jante toh hai aap dono meri neck suck karti rehti hai."

(Oh, this? This is all thanks to those two. You know how they keep sucking on my neck.)

Viyansh pouted playfully, making his disappointment evident, and Vaidehi couldn’t help but chuckle at his adorable expression.

Viyansh: "Hadd hai, ek dakshu hai jo tumhe kiss kar karke tumhari lipstick kharab karta tha, aur ab ye meri angel aur princess tumhe hickey de rhi hai. Toh in teeno ke papa kya kare??"

(This is unbelievable! First, Dakshu would kiss you so much that your lipstick would get ruined, and now my Angel and Princess are giving you hickeys. So, what should their father do?)

Vaidehi chuckled softly as she wrapped her arms around Viyansh’s neck, her eyes sparkling with affection. In response, Viyansh wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her effortlessly, pulling her close.

Vaidehi: "Mere teeno bachcho ke papa, aap sirf apne bachcho ki mumma se pyaar kariye."

(My three kids' father, all you need to do is love the mother of your children.)

Viyansh pulled Vaidehi even closer, their faces almost touching. He gently rubbed his nose against hers, their breaths mingling in the intimate gesture.

Viyansh: "Main bhi toh yahi chahta hu, par ye teeno aisa hone kaha dete hai??"

(That’s exactly what I want, but these three never let it happen.)

Vaidehi chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with affection. She leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on Viyansh’s cheek. Viyansh's face lit up with a smile as he felt the tender, loving gesture.

Vaidehi: "No problem main bachcho ki taraf se compensate kar deti hu."

(No problem, I’ll compensate on behalf of the kids.)

Viyansh leaned closer, his breath warm against Vaidehi's ear. He playfully licked the edge of her ear before whispering.

Viyansh: "Tumhe nahi lagta biwi tum galat jagah compensate kar rhi ho??"

(Don’t you think, wifey, you're compensating in the wrong place?)

Vaidehi's cheeks flushed a delicate pink as she nodded.

Viyansh: "Toh chalo sahi location pe Karo."

(So, let’s do it in the right place.)

Vaidehi's shy smile grew as Viyansh's face inched closer, their lips almost touching. The moment was charged with anticipation, their breaths mingling as they drew near, lost in the intimacy of their closeness. Just as their lips were about to meet.

"mummmmmmaaaa"

Vaidaksh entered the room with wide, curious eyes. Viyansh and Vaidehi, caught in the moment, quickly pulled away from each other, their faces flushed with surprise. Viyansh's heart raced as he and Vaidehi exchanged a brief, startled glance.

Vaidaksh: "Kya hua??"

(What happened?)

Viyansh: "Aap ho gaye aur kya."

(What happened is that you’re here, that’s what.)

Vaidaksh looked between his parents, puzzled by their sudden shift in demeanor. Vaidehi, still blushing, playfully slapped Viyansh’s arm, her expression a mix of embarrassment and amusement. Viyansh winced slightly at the light tap but quickly regained his composure, flashing a sheepish smile at Vaidehi.

Vaidehi: "Kuch nahi jaana, aap batao kya hua??"

(Nothing, Jaana. Tell me, what happened?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma bhookh lagi, khana khila do na."

(Mumma, I'm hungry. Can you feed me?)

Viyansh: "Aap apne hath se kyu nahi khate little Jaan??"

(Why don't you eat by yourself, Little Jaan?)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma aapko bhi apne hath se khilati hai maine dekha hai, aap toh bade ho na papa."

(Mumma feeds you with her hands too; I’ve seen it. And you’re a grown-up, Papa.)

Viyansh: "She's my wife."

Vaidaksh: "And my mumma"

Viyansh: "Vo aapki mumma hai, kyuki pehle vo meri biwi hai."

(She’s your Mumma because she’s my wife first.)

Vaidehi: "Basssss Karo aap dono."

(Enough, both of you!)

Viyansh and Vaidaksh both turned their attention to Vaidehi. She gently pulled Vaidaksh closer, and he instinctively wrapped his little arms around her waist, clinging to her for comfort.

Vaidehi: "Kya hai Ansh, aap kyu dakshu se ladte hai bewajah."

(What is it, Ansh? Why do you unnecessarily fight with Dakshu?)

Viyansh: "Par jaana ye .."

Vaidehi: "Chup kariye, chalo beta mumma aapko khana khila deti hai."

(Be quiet. Come on, Son, Mumma will feed you.)

Vaidehi walked out of the room with Vaidaksh in tow. As they reached the door, Vaidaksh turned his head back and playfully stuck out his tongue at Viyansh, teasing him. Viyansh responded in kind with a grin, sticking out his tongue at Vaidaksh. Vaidehi shook her head, smiling at their antics, and continued down the hallway with her son. Once they were out of sight, Viyansh chuckled to himself, finding the playful exchange both amusing and endearing.

Another day,

The family was relaxing in the living room, enjoying their evening tea while the kids played happily in the lawn outside. The peaceful scene was abruptly interrupted as Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh burst into the room, running excitedly. Behind them, Vaidaksh and Vihaansh dashed in pursuit, their faces flushed with excitement. Viyana and Viyakshi’s laughter filled the room as they raced through, their tiny feet pattering on the floor. Vansh, equally energetic, followed closely, his enthusiasm evident in his wide grin. Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, equally eager to keep up, were right behind, their playful shouts adding to the commotion.

Vihaansh: "Areh yaar ruk jao teeno aise nahi karte."

(Oh man, stop it, you three. You don’t do that.)

Vaidaksh: "Anshu, inko toh ab mumma hi sambhalegi."

(Anshu, only Mumma can handle them now.)

The room was filled with the cheerful sounds of laughter as two-year-olds Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh toddled towards their parents. The trio moved with adorable clumsiness, their little hands reaching out as they approached their parents.

Vaidehi: "Heyy bhagwan kya hai ye, kya kar rahe ho teeno."

(Oh my God, what is this? What are you three doing?)

Vanshika: "Hadd karte ho teeno, kaisi shararatein sujhti hai teeno ko."

(You three have crossed the line. What kind of mischief do you come up with?)

Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh beamed with joy, their faces lighting up with wide grins that spoke of their delight. Their eyes sparkled with a mix of pride and excitement, as if they were basking in the praise and attention they were receiving.

Vanshika: "Chodo ise."

(Let them go.)

Vanshika reached out to take the kittens from Vansh’s hands, but he playfully shrugged her hand away, keeping a firm grip on the little furballs. Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh were all beaming with joy, each holding a tiny kitten securely by its head. The kittens, cozy in their small hands, looked both curious and content as the children showed off their new furry friends with pride and excitement.

Vaidehi: "Dakshu, Anshu, ye kaha se le aaye hai teeno."

(Dakshu, Anshu, where did these three get these from?)

Suddenly, a man burst into the room, his voice loud and commanding. The commotion startled the children; Viyana and Viyakshi quickly hid behind Viyansh, clutching his legs tightly for reassurance. Vansh, equally frightened, scrambled behind Vihaan, peeking out cautiously.

Man: "Mr. Singhania."

Viyansh: "Yes, Mr. Sharma, what happened?"

Vihaan: "Why are you shouting?"

Mr. Sharma: "Mr. Singhania, kaise bachche hai aapke, meri kittens galti se aapke lawn me kya aa gayi ye teeno unhe pakad ke andar le aaye aur vapas nahi de rahe hai."

(Mr. Singhania, what kind of kids do you have? My kittens accidentally ended up in your lawn, and these three caught them and brought them inside and now refuse to return them.)

Vaidehi and Vanshika shot disapproving glares at Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh. The children, sensing the disapproval, responded with their signature puppy dog eyes, their faces scrunched into innocent, pleading expressions.

Vaidehi: "We are really sorry, Mr. Sharma."

Vanshika: "Hum abhi aapki kittens vapas karte hai."

(We’ll return your kittens right away.)

Vaidehi and Vanshika bent down to the level of Vansh, Viyana, and Viyakshi, their expressions softening as they tried to gently persuade the children to release the kittens. With a mix of concern and patience, they reached out to carefully untangle the kittens from the kids’ small hands. Despite their efforts, the children clung tightly to the kittens, their determined little faces revealing just how much they wanted to hold on to their newfound friends.

Viyana: "Mumma noo"

Viyakshi: "Mumma pweety thoyyyy"

(Pretty toy)

Vansh: "Mumma, my thoyy, I pwayyyy."

(My toy, I play)

Mr. Sharma: "kaise bachche hai aapke, ziddi hai kitne."

(What kind of kids are yours? They are so stubborn.)

Vihaan: "Excuse me Mr. Sharma, maana humare bachche aapki kittens le aaye par iska matlab ye nahi ki aap kuch bhi bolenge."

(Excuse me, Mr. Sharma. Yes, our kids brought your kittens inside, but that doesn’t give you the right to say whatever you want.)

Viyansh: "Humare bachche ziddi hai ya nahi, uski tension aap mat lijiye. Bachche hai shaitani toh karenge hi."

(Whether our kids are stubborn or not is none of your concern. They’re children; of course, they’ll be mischievous.)

Vihaan: "Vahi toh bas kittens ko toy samajh kar le aaye, usme aap itna kya hyper ho rahe hai."

(Exactly. They just brought the kittens inside thinking they were toys. Why are you getting so worked up about it?)

Sharma: "Mr. Singhania, my kittens are like my kids."

Viyansh: "vo jo bhi, aap humare bachcho ko kuch nahi keh sakte samjhe."

(Whatever, you can’t say anything to our kids. Understand?)

Vaidehi: "Bas kariye aap sab."

(Enough, all of you.)

Vanshika: "Mr. Sharma ye lijiye aapki kittens."

(Mr. Sharma, here are your kittens.)

With a great deal of effort, Vanshika and Vaidehi managed to gently pry the kittens from the children's tight grips, finally handing them back to their rightful owner. Mr. Sharma, the kittens' owner, gave a grateful nod before leaving the room. As the door closed behind him, Viyansh, Vihaan, Vanshika, and Vaidehi turned to see Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh huddled together on the couch. Their small arms were crossed defiantly, their faces puffed up in a mix of frustration and sadness, and their lips formed a pronounced pout. The sight was a blend of adorable and exasperating, capturing the essence of their youthful rebellion.

Viyansh: "Dekha, khamakha bachcho ko udaas karke gaya pagal aadmi."

(See? That crazy man made the kids sad for no reason.)

Vihaan: "Chodunga nahi main use. "

(I won’t spare him.)

Vaidehi and Vanshika exchanged stern glances with Viyansh and Vihaan, who immediately fell silent under their gaze. Meanwhile, Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, observing the amusing dynamics between the adults, couldn't contain their laughter. They exchanged a high five, clearly enjoying the sight of their fathers in a state of mild disarray.

Vaidehi: "Vanshii, vo main na soch rahi thi kyu na Dakshu aur Anshu ko aaj park le chalte hai."

(Vanshi, I was thinking, why don’t we take Dakshu and Anshu to the park today?)

Vanshika: "Haa bhabhi, baaki aur koi toh aayega nahi humare sath. Sab naraz ho hai humse."

(Yes, Bhabhi, no one else is going to come with us anyway. Everyone’s upset with us.)

Vaidehi: "Vahi toh."

(Exactly.)

Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh clambered down from the couch, but in their excitement, they tumbled onto their bottoms. They looked at one another, their faces lighting up with giggles. The whole family couldn't help but laugh at the adorable sight. Viyana and Viyakshi waddled over to Vaidehi, hugging her legs tightly. Vaidehi scooped them up with a warm smile. Meanwhile, Vansh, reaching out with his little arms, made grabby motions towards Vanshika. She laughed softly and lifted him into her arms.

Vansh: "Mumma paakkk"

(Park)

Viyana: "Mumma, pweazzz"

(Please)

Viyakshi: "Mumma luww yiueeu."

(Love you)

Vaidehi chuckled softly as Viyana and Viyakshi nestled their faces into her neck, their giggles muffled by the embrace.

Vaidaksh, Vihaansh: "Hume bhi pyaar karo."

(Love us too!)

Viyansh and Vihaan chuckled, their faces lighting up with amusement. They extended their hands towards Vaidaksh and Vihaansh.

Viyansh, Vihaan: "Aa jaooo"

(Come here!)

Vaidaksh and Vihaansh both dashed towards their fathers, laughing as they leaped into their arms. Viyansh and Vihaan caught them effortlessly, lifting them up and spinning them around.

Vaidehi: "Pehle chalo, in teeno ko nehlana hoga, Kitty's pakad ke ghum rahe the badmaash."

(First, let’s go. These three need a bath; they were running around with kittens.)

Viyana, Viyakshi: "Naaiii naiiii"

Viyana and Viyakshi, with gleeful faces, jumped into Vaidehi's arms and clapped their tiny hands in excitement.

Vansh: "No naii naii"

Vanshika: "Nahana toh padega bachchu."

(You have to take a bath, little ones.)

Vaidehi: "Hayy mera Vansh, ek aap hi samajh daar beta, nahi naii is not good. Par abhi nahana padega okay??"

(Oh my Vansh, you’re the only sensible one, aren’t you, Beta? 'No, no' is not good, but you still have to take a bath, okay?)

Vansh pouted but eventually agreed. Vanshika took him to give him a bath, while Vaidehi gathered Viyana and Viyakshi. The bath time turned into a playful splash fest. Viyana and Viyakshi giggled and splashed water everywhere, soaking Vaidehi through and through. Despite the water chaos, Vaidehi managed to wrap them in towels. As she turned to hang up her dupatta, the mischievous twins seized the moment, tossing their towels aside and gleefully diving back into the bathtub. The room echoed with their laughter and splashes, creating a joyful mess.

Vaidehi: "Fairiesssss."

Viyana and Viyakshi continued to giggle as they splashed and played with the water, their laughter filling the bathroom. Vaidehi, drenched from head to toe, managed to lift them out of the tub for the third time. The task was getting more challenging with each attempt, but she knew she had to get them out before they could make another splash. With towels wrapped around their tiny bodies, she carefully dried them off, applying moisturizer and powder to keep their skin soft and fresh. She then dressed them in their diapers and clothes. Finally, she laid them on the bed, where they wiggled happily on their stomachs. Vaidehi playfully slapped their little bumps, and they responded with peals of giggles. As Vaidehi was tending to them, Viyansh entered the room.

Viyansh: "Arehh jaana ye kya haal banaya hai??? Bimaar ho jaogi, go and change."

(Oh Jaana, what have you done to yourself? You’ll get sick; go and change.)

Vaidehi let out a playful whine and wrapped her arms around Viyansh, leaning into him for support. She buried her face in his chest, her drenched clothes leaving a small damp spot on his shirt. Viyansh, smiling, gently rested his chin on top of her head, his arms enveloping her in a comforting embrace.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, dekhiye na in dono ko kitna tang karti hai mujhe pura geela kar diya hai. Ye humare teeno bachche nahane ke mamle me aap par kyu Gaye hai??"

(Ansh, just look at these two! They trouble me so much; they’ve soaked me completely. Why are all three of our kids like you when it comes to bathing?)

Viyansh chuckled softly,  he gently caressed Vaidehi's head. He leaned down and planted a tender kiss on her forehead, his touch soothing and warm.

Viyansh: "Main inke baal bana dunga, tum jao change karlo phir tumhare Baal bhi bana deta hu, okay??"

(I’ll do their hair. You go change, and then I’ll do your hair too, okay?)

Vaidehi nodded and she headed towards the closet to change into something dry and comfortable.

Viyansh: "Come mumma ki Badmaash fairies, papa aapke hairs bana denge."

(Come on, Mumma’s naughty fairies, Papa will do your hair.)

Viyana and Viyakshi’s giggles filled the room as they crawled towards Viyansh. He welcomed them with open arms, lifting them both effortlessly and cradling them against his chest. The girls' tiny hands reached up to touch his face, their laughter echoing with pure joy.

Viyansh: "Kyu tang karti hai aap dono mumma ko??? Aapki mumma bhi papa ka bachcha hai, unhe nahi pasand naii naii."

(Why do you trouble Mumma so much? Mumma is Papa’s baby too; she doesn’t like to bathe)

Viyakshi: "Pokchy, mumma no naii naii??"

Viyana: "No Naii naaii, kuuu??"

(Kyu - why)

Viyansh chuckled, his heart full as he kissed Viyana and Viyakshi's cheeks. With gentle hands, he gathered their soft hair and tied it into cute little ponytails, making them look even more adorable. The girls squealed in delight, reaching up to touch their new hairstyles. It was another day marked by joy and togetherness, a testament to their happy and fulfilling life.

A year later, Viyana, Viyakshi, and Vansh, now three years old, were about to embark on a new adventure: their very first day of school. The excitement in the house was palpable as the family prepared for this milestone moment. In the living room, Viyansh and Vihaan sat on the couch, their faces beaming with pride and a hint of nervousness. They were both dressed in casual, yet smart outfits, ready to drop off their little ones at school.  Meanwhile, Vaidaksh and Vihaansh, still younger but full of curiosity, stood in front of their fathers like obedient children.

Viyansh: "Dekho, aap dono ko hi school me apni princess and Angel ka khayal rakhna hoga."

(Look, both of you need to take care of your Princess and Angel at school.)

Vihaan: "Kuch bhi ho toh jaldi se papa ko call karna okay??"

(If anything happens, call Papa immediately, okay?)

The boys nodded their heads. Vanshika entered the room with little Vansh in her arms, who was dressed in his school uniform, looking absolutely adorable. His tiny thumb was snugly nestled in his mouth, a habit he still clung to. Despite Vanshika's gentle attempt to pull it out, he promptly put it back in his mouth with a contented sigh.

(Author's note: I gave them a baby boy first just for this scene.😜)

Vihaan: "Vansh, bachcha yaha aana."

(Vansh, come here, child.)

Vanshika gently placed Vansh on the floor, and the little boy wasted no time running towards his father. Vihaan eagerly scooped him up into his arms, holding him close with a smile. Vansh looked up at his father with wide eyes, his thumb still securely in his mouth, as Vihaan playfully nuzzled him.

Vihaan: "Beta Vansh, aap ko bhi apni sisters ka khayal rakhna hai okay??"

(Beta Vansh, you also need to take care of your sisters, okay?)

Viyansh: "Haa vanshuu, aap same class me ho na toh dhyaan rakhna aap angel aur princess ka okay??"

(Yes, Vanshuu, since you’re in the same class, you need to keep an eye on Angel and Princess, okay?)

Vansh nodded being confused and then looked at Vaidaksh and Vihaansh. Just then, Vaidehi entered the room carrying Viyana and Viyakshi. The girls were dressed in their adorable school frocks, each sporting two neat ponytails, and they looked absolutely charming. Vaidehi gently set them down on the floor, and the moment their tiny feet touched the ground, they sprinted toward their father. Viyansh, smiling warmly, scooped them up effortlessly and settled them onto his lap. The girls snuggled into their father's embrace, their faces lighting up with joy and contentment.

Vaidehi: "Seriously pagal ho gaye hai aap dono??"

(Seriously, have you both gone mad?)

Vanshika: "over protective ho rahe hai bhabhi aur kya??"

(They’re just being overprotective, Bhabhi, what else?)

Vihaan: "Chup Karo yaar aap log."

(You all be quiet, okay?)

Viyansh: "Meri angel aur princess pehli baar school ja rahi hai khayal toh rakhna hoga na."

(My Angel and Princess are going to school for the first time; of course, we have to be careful)

Vaidehi: "Haa lekin Vansh ko khayal rakhne keh rahe hai aap dono seriously??"

(Yes, but seriously, you’re asking Vansh to take care of them?)

Vihaan: "Dahi tu mere bete ko kum mat samajh, vo rakh lega apni beheno ka khayal. Hai na Vanshu???"

(Hey, don’t underestimate my son. He will take care of his sisters, right Vanshu?)

As Vansh grinned and nodded, Viraj, Virat, Vyomika, and Vruddi entered the room, each carrying their respective five-month-old twins. Vyomika, who had given birth to twin boys five months ago, held "Vrishank Viraj Singhania" and "Vedarth Viraj Singhania" in her arms. Vruddi, who had also welcomed twin boys around the same time, carried "Vyanav Virat Singhania" and "Vaidik Virat Singhania". The four of them made their way to the couch, settling comfortably with their babies nestled in their arms. The room was filled with the soft coos and gurgles of the little ones, adding to the lively and joyful atmosphere as the entire family gathered together. The four of them made their way to the couch, settling comfortably with their babies nestled in their arms. Viraj: "Bhabhi maa, bhabhs aap bas Vrishi, Vedu, Vyanu, aur Vaidu ko bade ho jane dijiye."

(Bhabhi maa, Bhabhs, just wait until Vrishi, Vedu, Vyanu, and Vaidu grow up.)

Virat: "Ha hum inhe bhi angel aur princess ki rakhwali me lagayenge."

(Yeah, we’ll have them guard Angel and Princess too.)

Vaidehi and Vanshika exchanged amused glances and face-palmed themselves, while Vyomika and Vruddi couldn’t help but chuckle at the light-hearted moment. Just then, Eklavya and Naina walked in, accompanied by their 8-year-old son, Ekansh, and their 4-year-old, Naksh.

Eklavya: "Kya hai Viyansh, itni subah kyu bulaya??"

(What is it, Viyansh? Why did you call us so early?)

Naina: "Bhai aapne kaha emergency hai, kya hua??"

(Bhai, you said it was an emergency. What happened?)

Vaidehi: "Oh god, Ansh don't tell me aapne mere Ekansh aur Naksh ko apki angel aur princess ki care karne aur school me unka dhyan rakhe ye bolne ke liye bulaya hai."

(Oh God, Ansh, don’t tell me you called Ekansh and Naksh just to ask them to take care of your Angel and Princess at school.)

Viyansh and Vihaan exchanged sheepish smiles with Vaidehi, who simply shook her head in amused resignation.  Vaidehi shook her head, a playful smile on her lips. The entire family erupted in laughter.

After dropping the kids off at school, Vihaan and Vanshika headed to their respective workplaces, while Viyansh and Vaidehi decided to visit a nearby café. Vaidehi sat comfortably at a table, savoring her coffee and occasionally glancing around the café with a relaxed smile. Meanwhile, Viyansh was on his feet, pacing around the café with a thoughtful expression.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, ab baith bhi jaiye 1 ghante se ghum rahe hai, aapko dekh kar mujhe chakkar aa rahe hai."

(Ansh, please sit down. You’ve been pacing for an hour, and just watching you is making me dizzy.)

Viyansh walked over and settled down beside Vaidehi. He wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in the curve of her neck. The warmth of his embrace and the soft, reassuring scent of her made him relax, momentarily escaping from the stress that had been occupying his mind.

Viyansh: "Jaana bachche thik honge na, teachers ne unhe khilaya toh hoga na, bhook bardasht nhi hoti hai dono se. Ek toh ye itne chote bachcho ka 4 ghanta school koi rakhta hai kya??? bachcha, home schooling bhi kar sakte hai na?? Kaisa idea hai?? I g...."

(Jaana, the kids will be okay, right? The teachers must have fed them, right? They can’t bear hunger. And why on earth do they keep such little kids in school for four hours? We can do homeschooling too, right? How’s that idea? I’m just saying...)

Vaidehi: "Annnssshhhh, bas ab."

(Annnsshhh, enough now.)

Viyansh pulled back slightly, looking into Vaidehi’s eyes. She reached out, gently cupping his face with her hands, and pressed a tender kiss to his forehead. The simple, loving gesture seemed to ease the tension in his shoulders, and he relaxed a bit.

Vaidehi: "Sab thik hai, aapki betiya bhi thik hai, itni fikr mat kijiye, kuch der me aapke pass hi hongi dono. Thik hai??"

(Everything is fine, your daughters are fine, don’t worry so much. They’ll be with you in just a little while, okay?)

Viyansh nodded, feeling a wave of comfort wash over him. He rested his head on Vaidehi’s shoulder, allowing himself to be enveloped by her warmth. She responded by gently caressing his cheeks.

Viyansh, Vihaan, Vaidehi, and Vanshika gathered at the school to pick up their little ones. As the school bell rang, the kids came rushing out, their faces lighting up with excitement. They ran straight into the arms of their parents, hugging them tightly and chattering animatedly about their day.

Viyansh: "Angel, princess aap dono thik hai na?? Kisi ne tang toh nahi kiya na??"

(Angel, Princess, are you both okay? No one bothered you, right?)

Viyana: "No popsyy"

Viyakshi: "Popsy, humne flients bhi balaye."

(Popsy, we made flients too!)

Vaidehi: J"aana, vo friends hota hai."

(Jaana, it’s 'friends.)

Viyansh: "Bachcha, don't interrupt sahi bol rahe hai dono."

(Sweetheart, don’t interrupt; they’re saying it right.)

Vaidehi chuckled and shook her head, her amusement shared by Vaidaksh, who giggled along with her as he hugged her waist. She lovingly caressed his head, enjoying the affectionate moment. Meanwhile, Viyana and Viyakshi excitedly chattered about their day to Viyansh, their voices bubbling with enthusiasm. Suddenly, a little boy appeared beside them, drawing their attention.

Boy: "Bye bye gilssh"

(Girls)

Viyana, Viyakshi: "Byyee"

The boy approached Viyana and Viyakshi and planted gentle kisses on their cheeks. The sudden gesture caused Viyansh, Vihaan, Vaidaksh, Vihaansh, and Vansh to widen their eyes in surprise. The unexpected display of affection had everyone momentarily stunned.

Vansh: "Sshhhhh, hathooo my sistell."

Vaidaksh: "Aunty aap please apne bete ko le jaiye."

(Aunty, please take your son away.)

Vihaansh: "Aur humari angel aur princess se dur rakhiye."

(And keep him away from our Angel and Princess.)

Vihaan: "Aur sikhaiye apne bete ko ma'am, ye koi tarika hai ladkiyo se behave karne ka??"

(And teach your son some manners, ma'am. Is this how he behaves with girls?)

Lady: "Ye toh bachche hai, Sir, kaisi baatein kar rahe hai."

(They’re just kids, Sir. What are you saying?)

Vihaan: "Hadd karti hai aap, bhai inko dekho..."

(You’re unbelievable. Bhai, look at her..)

Everyone turned to look at Viyansh, but he was focused on carefully wiping Viyana and Viyakshi’s faces with his handkerchief.

Viyansh: "Bachcha wet vibes dena toh."

(Sweetheart, give me wet wipes, please.)

Vaidehi looked at Viyansh with a puzzled expression.

Viyansh: "Jaana jaldi do na."

(Jaana, quickly, please.)

Vaidehi noticed Viyansh’s frantic attempts to clean Viyana and Viyakshi’s faces and, sensing his urgency, reached into her purse for some wet wipes. Handing them to Viyansh, she watched as he diligently wiped away the remnants of the little boy’s kiss from their cheeks. With a tender smile, Viyansh then showered Viyana and Viyakshi with affectionate kisses, causing the girls to giggle with delight at their father's loving attention. Meanwhile, Vaidehi and Vanshika struggled to contain their laughter, finding the sight of Viyansh’s doting behavior both endearing and amusing.

Vihaan bent down in front of Viyana and Viyakshi, gently taking their tiny hands in his.

Vihaan: "Bachcho, dekho aise kisi ko bhi aapko kissi dene nahi dena okay??"

(Kids, listen, don’t let anyone kiss you, okay?)

Viyansh: "Only family, okay babies??"

Viyana and Viyakshi nodded in agreement, their eyes twinkling with curiosity as they held onto Vihaan’s hands. Vaidehi, observing Viyansh’s protective and affectionate nature towards their daughters, couldn’t help but shake her head with a fond smile. The family soon arrived back home.
