THIRD PERSON POV
GROWL...
Xiaoli and Bai both growled at the injured man in black. Bai pressed the man on the ground harder every time he moved and Xiaoli kept her eye on the man if he were to ever make a sneaky attack.
As the man stayed still, knowing his situation well, he looked up at both Emperor and Empress standing before him. He shivered at the Emperor's menacing stare.
"We are going to ask once, so answer Us exactly or your death wouldn't be a peaceful one." Huang Longwei asked patiently even though all he ever wants to do is torment the man beneath him.
Feng Liqin kept his hold on his husband to calm the man. He was worried about his son and wants to be beside him, but he needs answers too. He felt that the person in front of them held something, but he can't put his finger on it. He wonders what it is.
"Tell me. Who was the scum that sent you here and why?" Huang Longwei asks monotonously while excluding a dark aura around him. Feng Liqin tightened his hold.
The man kept quiet, looking around and leveling his pros and cons. Looking back at the Emperor, he knew he won't be able to survive the torment waiting for him. Pursing his lips, he knew he had no other choice.
"If I were to tell you, Emperor Cheng, would you spare me and guarantee my safety?" The man asked.
Huang Longwei frowned. "It depends on the information you are giving."
The man gritted his teeth. "The information you seek is something very sensitive. If I were to tell you everything, you must guarantee my safety as the master I am about to betray will torture and kill me as well as my sister."
Feng Liqin frowned. He let's go of his hold on his husband and moved forward. Kneeling down, he touches both the earth and the man before him. The man flinches at Feng Liqin's touch, thinking that the Empress might hurt him, but he doesn't. Instead, Feng Liqin closes his eyes and breathes deeply. Soon after, he opened his eyes and looked sadly at the young man.
"Xiaoli, may I please ask you to do something for me? Bai, you may follow her if you choose to." Xiaoli nodded, already knowing her master's intention. "Find her and bring her back here safely. Let her be unconscious and make sure none of you or her is seen. I'm afraid that this boy here is not as careful as he thinks." Feng Liqin stood up while Xiaoli and Bai quickly left as told. "Longwei, let's take this boy inside. There is a very long story ahead of us, and it must be kept quiet." Huang Longwei looked at his wife quizzically. "It's rude to speak loudly when speaking with someone." Feng Liqin said as he smiled at his husband.
Without much thought, Huang Longwei picked the boy up and pulled him inside to his office with Feng Liqin on tow. Once the door was closed, screaming was heard. They both looked at each other, then went running towards the noise with the mysterious boy.
Arriving at their room, Shun Rong was screaming as his whole body was moving around the bed as if he was being burned alive. Feng Liqin stepped forward but was pulled back by Huang Longwei. Looking at the shook of his husband's head, he nodded with pain in his eyes.
Soon, Shun Rong's body was glowing a red hue. It started burning brighter and brighter until Huang Longwei finally realized what exactly was happening. Huang Longwei then took Shun Rong out of the room and into the courtyard after placing a force field all around Feng Liqin's house including the the small forest - like garden connected with the courtyard to ensure no one would see what was about to happen. After laying Shun Rong down on the grass, he stepped back and held his wife close to him. The captured boy never ran and followed the royal couple's pace as he was quite curious on what was happening and stayed near the royal couple along with the servants.
Shun Rong's body that was aglow with a burning red hue went up in flames a few minutes after Huang Longwei set him down. Seeing this, Feng Liqin screamed his sons name in horror. He wanted to run towards his burning son, but Huang Longwei kept a firm grip on him. Suddenly, the fire dispersed and Shun Rong's body was left untouched with no burn marks whatsoever. A green hue was a glow afterwards all over Shun Rong's body. Gasps from everyone except the Emperor was heard once they saw the second glow coming from the young prince. Like before, after glowing a bright green, the earth and plants stated to cover Shun Rong's body all over until a big cocoon was left. After a few minutes, all of the plants and earth was dispersed, leaving Shun Rong's body to be afloat on top of the ground as if he was floating underwater.
GROWL...
A low menacing growl resounded around the area. Everyone looked around for the source of the growl.
GROWL!
Again, it was heard but louder and menacing as before. Feng Liqin and Huang Longwei looked forward, past Shun Rong's body and towards the dark parts of the small forest - like garden. Red eyes shown within the dark of the forest. Slowly the creature came out. Fear struck the people who sees this creature, and many died before ever foretelling of the creature strength and powers. None knew of what the creature is capable of, except for the Emperor himself that glared at the creature. Feng Liqin held onto Huang Longwei as he was frightened by the creature that was the last of its kind and was only told within children's stories. Never had he thought the creature that haunted children's nightmare was real and was now right in front of him.
As the creature came closer, it stopped in front of Shun Rong. Casting its eyes on the young prince, it ignored the other people and started circling the him. After three times, a new bluish white hue was glowing from Shun Rong's body. The wind started picking up and a tornado formed all around the young prince and the creature, trapping them within the harsh turbulence. Once the winds dispersed, Shun Rong's body that was now laid on the ground, was seen with a man with dark, long, black hair beside him. Looking closer, they could see the changes. Shun Rong's hair longer and as white as snow, he became taller and the aura around him became mysterious. As Shun Rong opened his eyes, green emeralds stared back at the people in front of him.
