After taking care of most of the matters related to the will, Zhong Yuhuan finally felt extreme exhaustiveness, and her mind still started to slip.

Catching her look, Assistant Zhao thought she was sad about Zhong Chi’s passing. He felt sad for her as well; now Miss Zhong was truly an orphan…

She was half way there when an arm reached out from the side and caught the upper half of her body, half pulling her into his arms.

“How come you look so pale?” Huo Chengming’s voice rang next to her ears with a hint of almost undetectable anxiousness.

“I have been up all night,” said Zhong Yuhuan as she yawned. Her head now felt even heavier than before. “Let’s go home first. To the Zhong’s. Good timing, you guys haven’t been back there for a while now…”

Before she was even done talking, Huo Chengming picked her entire body up and said, “We’ll talk in the car. Now close your eyes and get some rest.”

Zhong Yuhuan couldn’t help but let out a deep and long yawn. “Let me down. It’s not good if others from the Zhong’s see it.”

“Why not?” asked Huo Chengming in a muffled voice.

“It looks like we are happy to be going home…”

That’s when Huo Chengming finally reluctantly let her down. He didn’t, however, let go of her wrist. Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming each have one of her wrists in their arms, almost carrying her out. It might not look the most appealing, but it did make it easy for Zhong Yuhuan to walk.

After they had walked out of the elevator and to the front entrance of the hospital, they saw a man who was sitting on a bench outside of the hospital sit up and turn toward Zhong Yuhuan.

“Huanhuan,” came Lang Jinzhi’s soft voice.

Then his look paused, obviously he had noticed Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming.

Zhong Yuhuan was a bit surprised as well. “How come you left your hotel, Cousin?”

“I am waiting for you,” said Lang Jinzhi as he walked in front of her. “How come you look so pale.”

“Oh, it’s not a big deal. I didn’t get any sleep last night was all,” said Zhong Yuhuan as she yawned again uncontrollably.

“Go take a nap at a hotel nearby first,” said Lang Jinzhi immediately.

Zhong Yuhuan squinted and studied Lang Jinzhi for a little while before she said, “Umm, Cousin… you have dark circles under your eyes.”

Lang Jinzhi was surprised. “Really?”

He had always paid a lot of attention to his appearance. He had always eaten and slept following a set schedule. As much as a workaholic that he was, he rarely ever sacrificed his sleep for work. This was the first time that Zhong Yuhuan had seen dark circles on him.

“You go back to the hotel first. You still have to work tomorrow. I will return to the Zhong’s with them. I have a little bit more to take care of.”

Upon hearing that, Lang Jinzhi looked over at Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming and asked, “How come you two are back?”

“We’re worried about Huanhuan.”

Lang Jinzhi nodded and quietly examined the boys in front of him. Or should he say young men? They had grown so tall already and made it difficult for one to look at them like children.

Lang Jinzhi had an odd sensation of being unhappy, as though his role as a brother had been replaced.

“Hurry and go get some rest, Cousin,” said Zhong Yuhuan as she nudged him forward gently.

Lang Jinzhi gave Li Jinyuan and Huo Chengming another look.

They would accompany Zhong Yuhuan back to the Zhong’s.

Lang Jinzhi felt a bit of regret and disappointment. He was just her cousin. He couldn’t be by her side all the time like the other two could.

Zhong Yuhuan, somehow, was able to sense the little bit of disappointment on Lang Jinzhi.
