*A week later*

" Alright kids listen, we are going to new place ,so I want you three to stay with only one of us. I want you three to be real good. No talking to strangers unless I say otherwise. You three should always be together. If you guys anything to say come to Mama immediately. Alright? " Mia asked the kids who are sitting behind us. Right now we are driving to the Airport with Connor and Ryan driving in front and john behind us. We are following by at least five cars in front and back filled with pack warriors and Connor's Royal guards.
Jaxon said he would meet us at the Airport. We are taking his flight. But our flight would follow us soon after with pack warriors. We are taking Royal guards with us. Ryan's Beta is going to take care of the pack while he's away. My mom want me to leave the kids behind but they can't be separated from Mia. And Mia doesn't trust us with this project. So, here we are on our way to airport.
As soon as we reached Airport, Brick led us into private lounge where Jaxon is waiting for us.
As we reached, I saw Jaxon went rigid and he looked at Mia who is busy messing with Ethan's hair while walking. Connor beside me went Rigid as soon as he saw Jaxon. He slightly turned his nose upwards and started sniffing the air. I couldn't help but think Now what?
He looked at Jaxon and turned pale. I looked at Jaxon is smirking but masked his face as soon as we reached him. Okay, now I'm confused. What the heck is going on?
"Hello Mr. Bryant" I said shaking his hand with a pole smile.
"Hello Mr. Robinson. " He wished back looking at the kids Which made me push kids behind me gently.
"Awe come on. I want to meet them" he said smiling at them. I looked at Mia who nodded to let me know it's Okay. I brought kids in front of me but still keeping them close.
"Hello my name is Jaxon" He introduced himself giving them his hand to shook. Eva and Ethan looked at me for permission to talk which I answered with a slight nod.
"Hello your highness, My name is Ethan and this is my sister Eva" Mia told them in the car earlier they should call "your Highness" in order to not to offend him anyway.
"oh please, call me Jaxon. You guys are really cute. And you must be?" he asked Kevin who is hiding slightly behind Mia. He really got close to Mia in last few days. Of course he would, it's Mia for you.
"That's Kevin, Connor's little brother. And that's Connor. And you must have already Met Ryan" Mia answered for Kevin and Introduced Connor too who is busy at looking anywhere but Jaxon.
"Hello Connor. You must be the Prince I'm hearing a lot about. It's nice to finally meet you" He greeted while smirking at him. Wait, Did I miss something?
" If only I could say the same" Connor muttered under his breath.
" What's that? " I wonder why Jaxon has this smug look on his face.
"nothing. Nice to meet you too" Connor answered with a forced smile man ng us frown. What's gotten into him all of sudden.
"Hello Ryan. I guess we have met last year at the meeting. How are you doing? " He finally turned to Ryan. They both started discussing some security measures after shaking hands.
"Plane is ready on runway" Brick informed us.
"Great. Shall we" Jaxon and Brick led us to the plane in cars.
"Mama, why aren't we going in our flight? " Eva asked as we getting into the plane.
"Jaxon asked us to be his friends.So, we are going on his Plane to get to know him more" Mia answered grinning at her. Who in return started giggling.
" I would love to know more about you" Jaxon told Eva but he's staring at Mia. Connor cleared his throat and walked next to Mia. What the hell is going on?
We walked in. Interior of this plane looks amazing. It's boeing with three decks. One is for staff and cargo, middle one is Jaxon's personal deck and top deck is for guests.
Brick led us middle deck where there is also business class seating. As we all settle down, pilot asked us to wear our seat belts as we are about to take off. Mia checked Eva, Ethan and Kevin one last time and sat next to me. I put on her seatbelt. With in ten minutes we took off. After pilot told us it's Okay to take off our seat belts, Mia went to check on kids. I was about to take my laptop out, I heard some one clearing their throat standing next to me.
"yes" I looked up only to see Ryan.
"Hi. May I sit here?" he asked for permission to sit next to me.
"It's Mia's" he looked like he want to talk about something. so, I nodded yes.
"So, everything is good? " I asked while opening my laptop. I have important files to check.
"yeah, it's just I want to ask you something. " he looks nervous. I wonder why?
"Sure. Shoot it" I said checking new mails.
"Do I even have a chance? " I immediately knew where this conversation is headed to.
"Ryan" I started but he cut me off.
"I know. I know I hurt you. I know it's too late. I know I was jerk to you. I know I don't deserve you or kids. But I want you guys. I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable." he trailed off. Is he nuts? Is this the right place to talk about all these things? I closed my laptop giving him my full attention.
"Ryan. I know you're sorry. I know you are. And yes you are a jerk. But I can't forgive you yet. But I don't mind you being in kids lives. I sure don't mind spending time with their dad. So, don't worry about it. As for us. I don't think there is 'Us'. Never was. But if you're asking me for a chance? I will answer with 'I will think about it' . If I were you, I won't get my hopes high. " I honestly answered before getting back to my laptop. I heard him sigh and walk away.
I don't want to get hurt again.
I need to be strong.
"what did you do? "Mia asked sitting back.
"Nothing"
"It doesn't look like nothing" she asked getting comfortable with legs folded in Indian style.
" I don't want to talk about it " I answered as I typed away some replies to the mails.
"Fine. I need to send some mails too"
She took her laptop out too.
I looked at kids who are busy with Ryan and Connor.
I hope I made the right decision.
