That's all came to my mind.Serves you right my mind screamed back at me.
"you look distressed " Connor said who is sitting in passenger seat beside me. We are on our way to Alpha residency.The earlier encounter with Alec is hurting me so badly and also pissing me off.
"Nah. I'm good."I said focusing back on driving.
"Your pal Alec has cute kids. "Henry said from back seat.
"Yeah. They are cute"connor said looking out of window and looks like he is in deep thought.Then I remembered something.
"Connor? Looks like something troubling you. "i stated looking at him through eye corner.
"What would you do if your mate is older than you? "I raised my eyebrow in confusion. Then it hit me. The looks he was giving earlier.
"oh shit"i exclaimed hitting on the breaks.
"Dude. You're going to kill all of us. "Henry said shaking his head..
"Mia? " I asked him but more like a statement.
He nodded his head 'yes'
Is this sick game or something. And if Mia is his mate then she would be queen if she ever accepted Connor. This is really messed up.
"you know what sucks more? "He asked chuckling.
"What?" Henry asked in concern.
"I kind of like her already. "He said looking out of window. I know he would.Mia is really beautiful and a strong woman.I think she would be perfect queen for us.
"So,what now? "Tom asked joining the conversation.
"The truth is... She didn't even noticed him properly and I don't think you stand a chance against her boyfriend Alec. They seem to be totally in love"Henry stated the definite truth but it made me tighten my grip on the steering.
"But he's soon to be Alpha king"Tom said trying to cheer up Connor.
"So Alec huh? "Connor asked grinning.
"yeah"i answered without any hesitation.
"wait... what? when did this happened? " Tom asked looking confused as hell. We have already reached pack house but no one got out.
"God... He can be so dumb sometimes. You were there earlier when they were talking about... Stuff? "Henry said glaring at him.
"There isn't much. Seven years back when I found out he was my mate I rejected him because I know I have to carry on Alpha line or it would throw the safety of pack into jeopardy.But I was wrong. Because I have realized that I only love him. And it was too late before I realized the truth"i answered with sad smile.There is more to the story but he doesn't have to know that.
"What are you gonna do now? "Henry asked me a question to which I don't have any answer. So, I just shrugged.
"We are staying whole summer here. So, how about we help you to get him back? "Tom asked with excitement in his voice.
"I know I have messed up but if only i could get a second chance.But I don't want to disturb his family. "I confessed. Finally someone know I have a mate.
"Let's get inside"Henry said giving me a sad smile. We four walked in to see my dad and mom watching TV.
"Hey"i said sitting beside my mom. Connor and his friends sat on other couch.
"You look tired son. "My mom said rubbing my back.
"It's been a long day. "I said enjoying the motherly touch.
"I heard Alec's family was on pack grounds today"My dad asked without looking at me. My dad looks pretty young for his age, so does my mom.Werewolf and all.
"Yeah... "I said sighing.
"Come on... You guys look hungry.lets go and have dinner. " Connor and his friends joined us.
After dinner I wished them good night and got to my room and drifted to sleep.

Why did my heart pounds fast whenever I look at him? I have no answer for that question. Since I have turned sixteen, I have always felt some kind of strange bond between us. And that blue eyes of his, I really like his eyes.
Today is blood moon.I would get my mate today along with Alec.
After talking to Alec, I have rejoined my friends.
"you good? "one of my best friends Max asked in concern.
"yeah"i said nonchalantly.
"It's time"My dad announced through pack link. I looked up and there it is. Then suddenly a strange scent hit me. It's almost faded but it's still there. I sniffed and I think where it's coming from. Every girl is looking at me with hopeful eyes.
"I will be back" I told Max and headed into woods.
I followed the scent all the way to a lake.That scent is so strong here. I got a glimpse of a figure sitting on a huge rock by the lake.
"Alec? "I called to him.
"I'm so sorry"He said with a whimper. I know why he's saying sorry.
"You don't have to be"I said approaching him. He flinched when I sat beside him.
"I'm not gonna hurt you"i said taking his hand into mine. He looked straight into my eyes. Yep, it's official that we are mates.
"what are you doing here alone?"I asked in concern.
"I kind of wanted to be here"He said pouting. I chuckled at him and pecked his pout making him blush. I have no idea why did I do that.
"So, Are you alright?" he asked biting his lower lip making me growl with lust. I immediately took his face into my hands and started kissing him. From there one led to another and i ended up making love to him. That's his first time and my first time with a man.
"So,When are we going to tell our families? " Alec asked with his head on my chest.
"I don't know we will ever be able to "I said Running my fingers through his hair.
"What? "He asked getting up.
"Could you tell to your parents? "I asked him.
"Of course I can" He said with so much confidence.
"But I'm future Alpha. How would I have kids and carry on the family line if I choose you."i said groaning but then I realized what I have said.
"I didn't mean it"I tried to touch him but he moved away from me.
"So, I'm just a fling to you."He asked dressing up.
"Of course not.. You're my... " I couldn't finish the sentence.
"Wow... You can't even say that out loud"He said backing off. Now he's just being ridiculous.
"of course not"I tried to answer but nothing came out.
"Any girl would accept you with in seconds. right? You don't need me"He yelled.
"Fine. Yes,you're right. I don't need you "I said leaving him alone and walked back home after dressing up. But I regretted as soon as I reached my room. But I decided to meet him in the morning to apologize.But never thought it would be too late.
Next Morning
I woke up with an empty feeling. I don't know why but I couldn't feel my wolf and something felt off.
Then I panicked. I ran out of my room to downstairs only to see Alec parents in my living room. Alec's mom is crying hugging my mom and his dad is sitting beside my dad with head in his dad. My dad looked at me with Noah on his lap.
"Dad "he seems to notice my confusion.
"He left" That's all he said and walked up to me and gave me a piece of paper.
My heart started beating hands and my sight become little blurry. But I did read the letter.
Sorry Mom and Dad,
I never thought this day would come.I'm leaving mom. But just remember one thing it's not your fault that I'm leaving.you guys are the best parents I would ever asked for. And please take care of my baby brother.I know you guys would. Please request Alpha for me that not to search for me. Because I wouldn't be able to live my life happily here. Trust me I would be really happy wherever I am.I promise I would come back one day to you and Noah.Until then take care.

I gasped and opened eyes in panic.
I woke up in my own pool of sweat ever since that morning when I learned that he left that morning I have never able to sleep in peace. Every night I would have same nightmare.
Even though he asked us not to search for him we did search for him for all these years. I wanted to tell him that how much I regret everything but it's too late.
