âYouâre going to be okay,â I murmured softly.
I was so exhausted from the whole ordeal that I fell asleep on the edge of the bed.

Despite his teasing, he gently wiped my tears with his thumbs.

Stunned, I forgot how to breathe for a moment.
Then, I closed my eyes and ki*sed him back.
When I parted my mouth slightly, his deft tongue slipped in to dance with mine.
Our breathing became heavy and more possessive.

The next second, he scooped me up and laid me on the bed.
