100 Chapter 100 : Soulmate
âSorry I forgot youâre warm blooded,â Vivian whispered, her breath sending chills down Zanderâs spine. âAllow me to warm it up for you.â
She moved slowly to his front, her small gentle fingers trailing his muscular body as she circled him akin to the exotic belly dancers from the south. Zander looked down at her blue eyes and gulped, âVivian I..â
The beautiful nosferatu placed a finger on his lips and the man snapped his mouth shut. He had to hold back the urge to nibble her finger, pull her into his embrace and kiss her long and desperately.
âDonât worry Zander I donât bite... much,â she said with an amorous chuckle that made the man almost drool.
âHow exactly are you planning to warm the water up?â Zanderâs mind was already in the gutter, a dirty, dark, incredibly filthy gutter. He was getting excited the more he thought of all the possibilities the two of them could explore in order to warm the water up. Gods, was this even him? Was he really shamelessly getting excited about ravishing a nosferatu in the middle of a cold lake? But how could he not? Fuck the rules, there was no woman on this earth that Zander wanted more than Vivian, especially in this moment.
The dark haired woman inched closer and placed her delicate hand on Zanderâs firm chest. This was it, this was the green light he was waiting for, he was going to go for it, he was going to kiss Vivian. The elf closed his eyes and started leaning in for her luscious red lips, any moment now he would fulfill his little fantasy.
âAlright there you go,â Vivian spoke making Zander peel one of eyes open and look at her.
âExcuse me...?â
âThe water,â Vivian added on, âI warmed it up for you.â
.....
Zanderâs eyes fell on Vivianâs hand that was hovering slightly above the water. The water around him had indeed become much warmer than before, was that magic? The elf pursed his lips and blushed, of course she was going to use magic, why did he think sheâd ever want to be with a guy like him, an elf. An uptight, by the book, boring elf.
âYou okay?â Vivian asked the man whose mood seemed to have plummeted.
âUmm yeah Iâm great..â Zander responded flatly, âthank you for the water.â
Vivian nodded and walked back to her original position and proceeded to cleaning herself while Zander half bathed half wallowed in self pity.
âYou should get out of there before you wrinkle up like a prune,â Vivian spoke to the man as she walked out of the water and covered herself with her robe.
âyeah okay..â Zander finished up and turned to exit the water when he noticed Vivian staring at him wide eyed with a faint blush on her cheeks. âWhat?â He questioned the woman.
The beautiful nosferatu turned away from him and began walking towards the camp, ânothing!â She responded curtly and rushed off. When she was far from the manâs line of sight, she leaned against a large tree trunk and drew in a long breath. When she first noticed that the blonde uptight elf liked her, she had planned to mess with him for a bit. But after gazing at his beautifully curved body as he emerged from the water her heart flattered and knots formed in her stomach. Had Zander always been that... hot?
âFuck..â Vivian muttered to herself before tightening her robe and walking back to he camp.

Queen Tauriel pursed her lips lightly as she listened to her son explaining how heâd met Melissa. From his expressions as he spoke about her, his gestures, and how he held her hands and stroked them, the queen could tell that Gareth was completely smitten by the woman. The whole thing was making the queenâs head hurt, how could this have happened again? Why couldnât he fall in love with anyone else.. anybody at all.. it had to be a nosferatu.
â... so now here we are.â Gareth concluded.
The queen forced a smile and nodded at her handsome son, âit seems you two have quite the connection..â
âItâs more than that,â Gareth responded as he stroked Melissaâs hand lovingly, âsheâs my soulmate, I canât imagine my life without Melissa in it.â
Melissaâs breath hitched at the words Gareth had spoken. Did he just call her his soulmate?
âBut brother, the elves and nosferatu can not-â
Queen Tauriel abruptly stoop up and cut Finwe short. She cleared her throat and gave a signal to one of the guards who rushed to her side and bowed. âPlease have the maids prepare some rooms for my son and his guest, and some food as well,â she told the guard, âthey must be tired and hungry.â
âOf course my queen.â The guard bowed again and left to do as he was told.
Gareth stood up and cleared his throat to get his motherâs attention, âI donât mean to be rude queen Tau.. err mother.. but one room is alright for Mel and I. Iâd feel better if I had her close to me.â
âOh nonsense you two canât share a room,â the queen responded with a smile that Melissa could see was one word away from turning into a frown.
âBut-â
The redhead reached for Adamâs hand and smiled up at him, âitâs alright,â she spoke with a sweet smile, âI wouldnât mind finally having a big bed all to myself.â She could see that queen was trying to keep Gareth and her apart, going against her wishes right now would not be wise.
Moments later Gareth watched as Melissa was led away to the opposite side of the castle by two maids, while he was led to his room by his brother Finwe.
âYou worry like sheâs in some sort of danger brother,â Finwe commented having noticed Garethâs uneasiness. âOr maybe she is the danger?â
âWhy do I get the feeling sheâs not welcome here,â the dark haired elf spoke with knitted brows, âyou may claim to be family but I really donât trust any of you, especially with Melissa.â
âThatâs understandable,â Finwe responded, âbut you have to understand brother, her kind doesnât venture these parts of the continent anymore.â
âAnd why is that?â Gareth asked. He felt like there was something everyone wasnât telling him. He first noticed it with Zander, and now his brother and mother, what exactly had happened between the nosferatu and elves?
Finwe stopped in front of a large white door and turned to face his brother, âletâs not dwell on that for now,â he spoke with a smile, âyouâre home now, itâs time to celebrate not dwell on century old rivalries.â Finwe pat Gareth on the shoulder and started waking back, âget some rest, mother has been looking for an excuse to throw a party and youâve just given it to her. Youâll need all the energy you can get for the festivities ahead.â
Gareth watched Finwe walk away until he disappeared at the far end of the hallway. The dark haired prince sighed and walked through the large white door and into a massive room. Was this really meant for just one person?
He closed the door and walked slowly past a large grey sofa placed in front of a flickering fireplace and white polar bear rug. Adjacent to it was a large white bookshelf with a vast assemblage of books and parchments. There was a table with a single chair next to the shelf, and next to it a glass door that led to a well decorated balcony fitted with a low table and chairs. On the other side of the room was a large feathery soft bed with about a dozen pillows and thick white blankets and sheets.
The prince sat down on the bed and practically sunk into it. The room was absolutely breath taking. âMelissa would love this,â he mumbled to himself before sighing and falling back on the bed. She was literally under the same roof as him but he missed her.. so so much. After such a long journey he wanted nothing more than to take a warm bath with her and hold her all night till he fell asleep.
He brought his hand to the bite mark she had left on his neck and scoffed. Would they really stop him from going to see her? I mean he was just going to see how she was settling in right? Itâs not like he was planning on sneaking her into his room against his motherâs will.
Gareth sat up and grinned to himself. He was just going to check on her thatâs all, no harm in checking in on his guest right? And maybe staying with her till she fell asleep, just in case she felt a little homesick. It was common curtesy, his mother would understand.
The eleven prince hopped off his bed and made his way to the door, a big smile painting his face. He couldnât believe he was about to sneak around his motherâs house for a woman, the feeling was exciting him for some reason and it only made him long for Melissa even more. When he threw the door open, he bumped into someone who was equally about to enter his room.
He looked down at the woman whose eyes were as wide as an owl, âp- prince Gareth!â The woman squealed and awkwardly curtsied before him. âForgive me I didnât know youâd be in yet.â
