381-The Wicked Revenge
Authorâs POV:
Years Ago:
It took Hazel about two hours to finish the spell. She kept crying for her
daughterâs future, as she knew her daughter would face a lot of challenges now.
âSee! It wasnât that hard, was it?â Shaun grabbed the book out of her hands and
gave her a smile.
âNow! You are free,â he said, watching her get on her feet to approach him.

âPlease promise me my daughter will remain safe.â She met her palms before
him and begged for Enyaâs safety.
âLook! She will be fine. My son will make sure she doesnât die. I mean, she will
be the source of power for him. He will be an idiot to get rid of herâ so soon!â
He said with a wide grin on his lips. Hazelâs heart sank in her chest upon
hearing those words.
âBut that is so far away. Your daughter will grow up, get marked by him, and live
some happy days. As for now, letâs talk about us-,â he whispered huskily, putting
his finger under her chin and raising her face.
âWhat do you mean?â Hazel shook her head to get away from his touch and
looked at him disgustingly.
âOh, come on! You really thought I would let you live after you just told me you
were planning to run away from me?â Saying those words, he instantly brought
a knife out and stabbed her. She was so confused that she couldnât even
respond to him properly.
She lowered her face, her gaze traveling to the blood pouring out of her body.
âWhaâ,â she exclaimed as he stabbed her once more.
âI know if I leave you alive, you will take your daughter and run away. You will
cast a protection spell and hide your daughter from my sonâs claws. I wouldnât
risk that, would I?â Shaun stabbed her one more time before he stepped back
from her. She dropped to the floor in pain, not able to do magic in such pain.
âOh, and by the wayâ I did meet your family outside but didnât abduct them. I
would have if I had known they were planning to flee. However, there is no need
to do any of that anymore. Your daughter will take all the magic once you die,
and then she will accept my son and unintentionally help him in every sort of
mess,â he claimed as he walked out of her office and left her house.
Hazel whimpered and screeched in agony until Alaric and Enya came home.
Alaric could smell his mateâs scent mixed with the scent of horror the moment
he stepped inside.
âOh Goddess! What the heck happened to you?â He sat beside her and started
crying instantly.
âMommy!â Enya got on her little knees and whimpered, not understanding why
her mother was bleeding so much.
âWe need to take you to the hospital,â Alaric said, trying to carry Hazel in his
arms.
âNo! th-ey will not care. Sâ-haun did this. He-heâ made me do the spellâ,â
Hazel cried. âHe will make sure I die, and then he will take away our daughter,â
Hazel stuttered with difficulty, her body losing blood.
âThen we must leave this pack. I will take you to Alpha Thiagoâs pack and get
you help, and in exchange, I will hand them the papers that will reveal the ugly
truth of Shaun,â Alaric decided as he carried her. âEnya! follow me,â he ordered
when resting
Hazel in the car. They all got inside the car, and Alaric hit the road. He was
panicking at Hazelâs condition. Enya, being a child, fell asleep in the carâs
backseat after a few hours.
âShit! I forgot the papers, but it is okay. I can ask Makenzie to fetch them. I will
let him know where I have hidden them,â Alaric cursed when realizing he forgot
the papers because of being worried about Hazel losing blood.
Hazel had been using magic to slow the process of losing blood, but even her
magic was fading away now. âWe need to get you help quick,â Alaric mumbled,
watching a car rear-end them. âHey!â he yelled, losing attention and almost
running into a tree.
âWhat the fuck!â he cursed, rushing out of the car and angrily watching the car
that had caused the accident.
The car stopped after racing away and then turned around to reach them again.
Alaric was trying to start his car after getting inside once again, but then the
owner of the other car stopped near them. A girl walked out of the car and
knocked on his window.
âI am so sorry. I just donât know how that happened,â she apologized, peeking
inside the car and watching Hazel, who was slowly dozing off.
âIs she alright?â she asked Alaric, who gulped before shaking his head.
âA wild rogue attacked her. I am trying to take her to the hospital,â Alaric lied,
focusing on his car.
âOh! Rogues are bad, arenât they?â The girl commented. âIs that a little child in
the backseat?â she continued to ask, pressing him.
âLook! I am kind of in a hurry. Do you mind giving us a ride?â Alaric inquired,
having given up hope in his own car. âSure, but then I ask myself why?â The
girlâs smile faded away when looking through the eyes of Alaric, who frowned at
her.
Enya woke up and watched the lady through sleepy eyes. âExcuse me?â Alaric
questioned.
âWhy would I help a witch who has ruined so many lives?â The girl smiled again,
but at this moment, Alaric knew the girl was not there to help them.
âGet away from my car,â he threatened, rolling the window up and miserably
looking around to find a way to survive. The girl did walk away, but only to sit in
her car and then drive at them. âWhat the fuck is she up to?â Alaric yelled when
she stopped, right when she was about to hit them. She then backed down and
raced towards them again. Alaric was shouting in terror, not understanding what
was wrong with this girl. the door for her.
âEnya!â He then turned to his daughter and said, âGet out of the car,â unlocking
Enya rushed out while Alaric was in the process of grabbing
Hazel when the girl finally hit them and their car rolled down the hill.
âMOMMMMMMY! Daddyyyyy!â Enya screamed at the horrifying sight before she
passed out.
Before she left, the girl called the cops and told them she witnessed an
accident.
