Chapter 15: Chapter 15~ Neanderthal Michael

Alexis’ POV~

I went to the fifteen warriors and healed their wounds. None of them had silver…which tells me the Alpha was their target. Blake found me, just as I finished the last warrior.. and we walked back to the Alpha’s room. He was sitting up, but looked tired. Which I expected… I went over to him, checking his vitals and smiled “Close call, yeah? You need a new doctor! One that respects you and your Luna!” He asked “How about you?” And Blake laughed “No fucking way in hell do you keep my Luna!”

Ian grinned and said “No shit!? Congratulations, bro! I don’t know what happened. Those rogues breached our borders and killed my patrol… within seconds.. and were inside the pack house before I could blink. I heard we lost 25.” Blake shook his head “You lost 10… Alexis saved 15. They will be duty ready tomorrow. Ian… You were the target! It was an assassination attempt.. Like my father! You were stabbed with silver knives “

Ian looked confused “I don’t understand. I have heard nothing of rogue attacks anywhere… we haven’t been hit here in over ten years. And a group that large? There’s only one reason that many rogues fight together.. someone is paying them! We have to chase the money trail. Damon still hacking?” And we laughed…. Blake says “Nooooooo.. that’s illegal” with an evil grin. And I realize these two are very close friends!

The door opens.. and a heavily pregnant Caroline walked in. She throws herself into her mate’s arms and asked “How? How are you okay?” He points to me and says “Blake’s Luna…Alexis” and she hurled herself into my arms. I look at Blake and link what do I do? I’m not good with strangers touching me… Help! And he laughs! He laughed!

Blake takes her back to Ian and I ask her “I’d like to check the baby, if you don’t mind? You have experienced a lot of stress in the past several hours” She nods and I lead her to a sofa. I lay my hands on her stomach and let Arielle reach out to the baby… she tells me They are fine… minor distress but they are good. Two boys! I smile and tell Caroline “They are fine! Healthy!” She whispers “They? As in more than one?” I grin and nod.. “Do you want to know what you’re having? They will arrive in 28 - 30 days” She smiles and looks at Ian.. who nods at her. I tell them.. “They are identical twin boys” She starts crying and Ian holds his arms out to her…but his eyes are a glistening, too.

Ian asks “Who are you? You smell wolf.. but I’m confused.” I look at Blake and he says “My mate is a hybrid she-wolf… Witch. Her mother was a powerful white witch!” Ian grins “That’s fucking awesome!!”

Then he says “Let’s get to my war room… find out what your guys have figured out.. I was just linked Alpha Michael has arrived with ten warriors.” Blake rolled his eyes… muttered “asshole!” I slipped my hand into his and kissed the back of it.. Ian asked “Dude! You’re huge! I know we haven’t seen each other in a year.. but Fuck! You look like a mountain!” And Blake just laughed “Good lovin’ brother! Just good lovin’” It was Ian’s turn to laugh and he says “Caroline…best get to getting it! I want to be a mountain too!” And we all laughed.

Once inside, I said I was going to the kitchen to arrange some food and copious amounts of coffee.. when Caroline told me she could do that, I refused…telling her I want her off her feet and relaxing. I would bring her some chamomile tea. I turned left and nearly bumped into this fat…smarmy looking guy who grabbed me…” Hello sweet thing! Meet me after I speak to your Alpha… I’m in the mood for some fun” and I punched him.. in the face!

After arranging food, I brought tea to the war room for Caroline.. I took it over to her and that fat fuck winked at me.. saying “How about I tell your Alpha about our little altercation earlier?” I smiled and sauntered my happy ass over to my mate and climbed into his lap and told him “Please…by All means! Tell MY Alpha all about it!” Blake was watching me..then eyeing Michael.. “Well? Share with us about this altercation!” Michael stutters “It… it w-was nothing.. a mis-misunderstanding.. a simple mistake.” I grinned “Ask him how he got that black eye! He wanted to have a little fun…right, sweet Thing?”

Damon broke first.. “Oh shit! You did not!? Tell me you did not try with my Luna? You did! You absolutely did, didn’t you!? Dumbass! Blake, don’t break him inside… take him to the yard!” And everyone laughed.. Well.. not Michael..he failed to see the humor.

Blake glared at him “You touched my mate? Your filthy hands were on MY LUNA? And all she did was blacken your eye? You are lucky she didn’t break you in two! She is a black belt in three separate disciplines…not to mention a witch! Baby!! Do that freeze thing! I bet he’d get a kick out of that!” And everyone laughed again. Ian said “Michael, you never learn! The Goddess sure cursed your mate when she stuck her with you! Our alliance is on the line right now! You didn’t respond! You refused our call for help!” Blake sneers “And in doing so, you put Our alliance in jeopardy! You may have lost two very influential allies…..all because you are a fat, lazy piece of shit!”

Damon chuckles “Suck on that a minute, fatboy!” And I laughed that time! I asked “Where are we on this attack? Any luck in locating a camp? Any trace of where they may have run to?” And Michael sticks his other foot in his mouth “ All due respect …Luuunnnaaa! This is man talk! We will figure this out!” And I blinked. Twice…before I broke. Damon laughs “Damn dude! You are comedic relief… never mind what I said earlier, Alpha… Luna.. don’t break him in here… take him outside!” And Ian almost fell out of his chair, laughing!

Blake said “Keep it up, Neanderthal!! You’re batting a thousand!” I kissed my mate and smiled “He’s going to be a useless problem.. Maybe we can send a message to the rogues to hit him next!”
