I decide to run! I need to think. Stepping through the patio doors, I shift into Athos and let him have his head. Athos eats his fill⦠and begins dragging the remainder back to the pack houseâ¦when something alerts him to his left. He spins, just in time to see a flash of white fur and it was gone. What the fuck was that? Torn between chasing after the flash of white and getting the fresh meat backâ¦he asks Athos what he thought it was âI want you to know I will consider your feelings and thoughts from now on. Now, I must admit to being curious! Throwing clothes on, I link Cody and Damon to meet me at the truck! Heading into town, Cody asks where weâre heading and I ask him âTell me about your sister. Walking into the apothecary, that scent hits me again⦠and I falter in my step. Crazy! I step to the counter and Alexis comes up from the back with a box of jars in her handsâ¦I step to the side..and she never looks up.. running straight into me.. I try to catch her but she slams down on her ass, dropping the box and jars explode into the airâ¦green and blue smoke rises into the air and I go into a sneezing fit. She looks up at me and yells âHelenaâ¦hurry!! Iâm so sorry, Alpha! So sorry! We will fix it!â And I hear Cody and Damon explode into laughter.
Helena comes from the back and loses it herselfâ¦.Alexis telling her to get the antidote! Antidote? Whatâs happening? I sneeze again and cover my noseâ¦with a bright pink bunny paw! What the fuck? I ask â Whatâs happening?â Only my voice is high pitched and squeaky.. and now Alexis is gigglingâ¦while the guys are holding their sides and trying to breathe! Again I yell âWhat the fuck is happening??â And they laugh even harder. I rush to the mirror on the wallâ¦and standing there is a 6â7 inch bunnyâ¦with my faceâ¦except I now have bunny ears and noseâ¦with whiskers!
Helena takes me to the back and hands me an elixirâ¦âHereâ¦you need to drink this! The jars that broke and the powder you breathed in are used for childrenâs partiesâ¦.usually around Easter time. Iâm sorry.. drink! I wonât be able to take you seriously until we get your inner bunny under control!â I hear Alexis telling the guys what happened but none of them stop laughing long enough to make complete sentences!
Fifteen minutes later, I no longer feel the need to sneeze and feeling my face, itâs back to normal! I storm out to the front of the store and yell âYou are a menace! What were you thinking?
