Ayinah
Just as he entered the bathroom, she surveyed the place; she was looking for the other bed, but she found none. Nothing.
She prepares her clothes too, so after he finishes, she will get in the shower too; she feels sticky already.
"I'm done; you can take a shower now. Then we will find something to eat in some of the restaurants in here," she heard him say.
This man has no manners, she thought; he only wrapped a towel. What if it suddenly falls? So egotistical, really a jerk.
"I surveyed the place, and there's only one bed available in this suite, where I am going to sleep," she asked him.
"The bed is too big for us, so you can sleep with me. Don't worry; I'm harmless." He replied, winking.
She grabs her clothes and storms inside the bathroom stomping. He is back to Mr. Arrogant again. She heard him laughing. He's justâarghâcontrol, Ayinah, she commanded herself.
The bathroom was nice. She takes off her clothes that were on her body for almost twenty-four hours. She searches for a toothbrush; she forgot her toothbrush in her suitcase. When she found a toothbrush and a toothpaste, she brushed her teeth. When she is done, she opens the shower glass door. The smell of his shampoo made her stomach churn. She covered her mouth. But the smell of it really stirred up her stomach.
She rushed to the toilet bowl. Throwing out.
"Ayinah! Ayinah!" She heard him knocking on the door. She couldn't answer him. Suddenly he is on her side. Rubbing her back. How did he come in? But that's not her concern now.
"Ayinah? What happened?" he asked, rubbing her back continuously.
Oh my, she's naked. She panicked. But she couldn't stand up. Her stomach is still upset.
"The smell of your shampoo is very strong; I can't stand it." She replied, stuttering.
"The ventilation fan is on. Oh, never mind," he just said.
He quickly stands up to take a towel. He wraps her with it, then he lifts her up, then he presses the flush. She carried her out of the bathroom and put her down on the bed in a sitting position. He put the pillows at her back, inclined the headboard, and took a glass of water and gave it to her.
"You're too light. Stay in the bed first until the smell is gone before you take a shower. Or maybe you want to go swimming. There is a huge swimming pool here," he said.
"I didn't bring any swimsuit with me," she said.
She didn't bring her swimming suit because she can't use it when her tummy becomes big. Besides, she is not on a vacation.
"I'm sure they have a shop for swimming things here," he replied.
"No, maybe not now; I don't want to throw up in the pool," she replied.
"I will open all the windows so the smell goes out easily," he said, walking to the windows to open them.
He is back being Mr. Nice Guy again. She smiled to herself.
"I think we will have room service for dinner. I will check what's on their menu. Hope they are good." He said, picking up the menu on the bedside table and sitting on the couch.
She observes her stomach if it's settled yet. She got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. Not a very strong smell now. She steps inside.
"Are you sure you're okay now?" It startled her.
He suddenly speaks behind her. She didn't hear his footsteps.
"I think I'll be fine," she said, looking at him standing at the doorframe.
"Better not close the door so the smell will not stay inside. I don't want you to run to the toilet bowl; it's dangerous. You might fall down because you're wet," he said.
He is right, she thought. But he can see her while she's bathing.
"Don't worry, sweetheart, I've seen that already, remember?" he said with a wink.
"Yes, I know, because you're a busybody, taking the job that is not yours," she replied.
"It's my job to get you pregnant with my baby, so I have the right to do it myself. And it works." He said, staring at her still flat womb.
"Whatever. I will take a shower now, so go away," she said and stepped inside the shower. She throws outside the towel that landed on the floor instead of the sink. Well, she doesn't want to get it and put it in the sink. After closing the glass shower cubicle, she noticed that it's the smoky type of glass. Good. At least it's only her silhouette that can be seen outside.
She doesn't know how long she stayed under the shower. She was closing her eyes and letting the water hit her face; she liked it very much. She suddenly opens her eyes when there's no more water pouring into her face.
In front of her is his dark face.
"Are you nuts? You've been soaking here for so long. What are you doing? You want to get sick? See your fingers? It's all white." He scolded her.
What?
He's like a grumpy father. She giggles.
"Ayinah. What did I tell you? I told you to take care of yourself for the sake of the baby. Don't you remember that?" He said while wrapping her with a towel. He carried her out of the bathroom.
"I'm not that long. The water is so good, and it's really nice on my face," she said calmly.
"Wow! I could see that. Until your fingers are white, it's really very nice." He replied angrily.
He is Mr. Grumpy now, she thought.
He put her down on the bed and wiped her hair with the other towel. Then he takes off the towel he has wrapped her.
"Hey, what are you doing?" She asked, snatching the towel from him and covering her naked body.
"I'm changing you because you are too slow, and I don't want you to get sick." He said, picking up her clothes she prepared.
She brought them in the bathroom so she could change there, but this man might have brought it out.
She's like a little girl now.
He holds her underwear down so she could step in. She did it to avoid an argument. He lifted it to her waist. Then he picks up her bra and wears it to her.
"Beautiful!" he commented.
"I thought you didn't want me to get sick, so be quick," she said. Demanding
He turns her around and hooks her bra at the back.
"I wish the hook was in front," he said, his breath fanning her neck, but she ignores it.
Then he takes her shorts and wears them to her. And next is her cotton shirt. Wow! She dressed up that quick. She wanted to laugh, but she controlled herself. She could see that he is not in a good mood.
He could be a good father; he knows how to look after a child. She wants to voice what she wants to comment, but she doesn't want to. She may burst out in laughter if she will.
