Elle's pov:
Many days has passed. All is going fine between Steven and me still something missing. Slight of love. No no, I don't love him but still, my heart sometimes clench thinking that he has a girlfriend and he doesn't love me.
Steven came home after a long day work. He collided against the sofa.
Christmas already went and we enjoyed it and the 7 days is coming. Although I don't like these cheesy things but still. I mean Valentine's Day!
Obviously he will take her irritating girlfriend there and left me in this big house with my office works.
I handed him a black coffe and he took it as he thanked me. He grabbed me by my wrist and made him sit beside me. He put his hands on my thighs, while I clenched them.
"Tell me Elle. Do you like me?", He asked with blank expression. Like him? What should I answer now?
"I.. don't know..but I don't wanna let you go"
"Just say yes and I'll.."
"You'll what?"
"Nothing"
He said as he went to his room. I felt really awkward. I know nothing about love and these all. I just feel something when he touch me but is it love?
I didn't bothered him because he seemed so tired so I went to my bedroom. I wanted him to sleep alone from now. Because, I'm too scared to fall in love. Because, I know he won't like me back. Never.
I couldn't sleep. I can't sleep now with him and it's so bad. I keep turning around here and there on the bed when I saw someone coming towards me. I sneaked out from my blanket and saw Steven standing.
"Why you didn't come?", He asked.
"Um..we should sleep seperately now"
"Is that what you think Elle? I thought.."
"Um what?"
"I can't sleep without you" he said making my heart flutter. I widened my eyes and patted on the bed, saying him to lay beside. He carried a pillow with him too and laid beside me and chuckled shyly.
"Are you blushing, baby?" I asked seeing him blushing.
"Hm but what's baby?"
"Can I call you baby?"
He chuckled and hugged me and placed his chin on my shoulder. I pressed my head against his chest and it was really warm. I cuddled him.
"Do you..", I hesitated.
"What?"
"Um..Do you lo.."
"Lo?"
"Los Angeles!"
"That doesn't make sense"
"Hah! I know. Do you know what's the day after tomorrow?"
"What?"
"It's.. Valentine's day"
"Oh"
"I really wanted someone to propose me in that day! But that never happened though", I laughed softly and he chuckled.
"Elle.." he muttered.
"Yes baby?"
"Sleep" he said as he placed a kiss on my forehead making my cheeks red. I nodded and slept.
"What are you fucking doing?" I said at Steven who hold my wrist not letting me go to office.
"Work from home"
"No baby! It's a important meeting today!"
"Why you have important meeting everyday?"
"I don't know baby. Do you want something?"
"Like..What?"
I kissed him and he smiled while kissing. It took few seconds to respond the kiss but then he grabbed my waist slowly and deepened the kiss. I always want us to be like this. Always! Only can love come between us not any Anna.
He broke the kiss and cupped both of my cheeks.
"Come back soon", he said and I left.
"Oh my gosh!", Kate shouted in excitement.
"Ahh! Stop shouting like this!"
"Babeee! He.. that's so cute"
"I know right!"
"Do you love him?"
"I want to. But..he has a girlfriend right and what's going on between us is Love Without Love"
"What? Elle. If you tell him one time that you love him, he will really leave that fucking Anna and come to you!"
"Huh. You know what, tomorrow's valentine's day!"
"I knowww. And, what's Mr Smith gonna do?"
"Argh! He's not gonna do anything I know"
"Seriously? But why? Don't you guys kissed each other and after that he won't do anything tomorrow?"
I huffed. Will he? Ayyy no way. I patted myself on my own shoulder, to make me accept the reality.
