Ashley's Pov.
"Ashley, for the love of God wake up!!" Aaron screams ruining my beauty sleep.
"I am going to kill you! Let me sleep for fucks sake."
"No. We have school in an hour and you haven't even gone home yet." My eyes widen.
Shit. Shit. And shit!
What the fuck am I gonna do now?
"You idiot! Why didn't you wake me up at night?!" I ask.
"You looked like you didn't wanna get disturbed so I let you sleep?" He says nervously.
"You should have still woken me up," I say.
"Well... I didn't. Now shoo get out. Go home and get ready. We have to leave soon," He says pushing me to his bedroom door.
Wait I'm in his bedroom
Ofcourse you will be, its his house. I mentally slap myself on the head.
Out of nowhere, this memory of me pulling Aaron's hand and I think telling him to stay..? appears.
Please let it be a dream, please.
"Um okay well I'll see you in a bit," I say and rush out.
I run downstairs and find Ella making pancakes.
"Hey honey, want some pancakes?" She asks.
"Hi Ella, I would love to but we are already late for school," I say.
"Ah I'm sure the teacher won't mind a few minutes, come on sit here and I'm bringing the pancakes just now," She says pointing to the counter stool.
I deserve a real breakfast so fuck it.
I run to the seat and place my fine ass on it.
After 2 minutes she serves the pancakes and to say they smell amazing would be an understatement.
After a few minutes, Aaron comes jogging down, drying his wet hair wearing a t shirt which is tight around his muscles and a pair of jeans.
The water dripping from his hair makes his shirt wet causing him to look even hotter.
His hair everything looks amazing.
What no. You like his best friend remember?
Yep, definitely his best friend..
"Like the view?" He teases with a smirk.
It is at this point that I realise I've been looking at him for the past 2 minutes like a complete and literal creep.
"Pff nooo," I flip him off.
Both him and Ella laugh at my reaction.
"Ashley hurry up, you have only half an hour to get ready," Aaron says.
"It's okay, I'm done. Thank you so much Ella for accommodating me for the night and for the amazing food too," I thank.
"It's no problem, you can come over any time you want," She smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"I'm starting to think you love her more then me," Aaron teases.
"Boy, shut up," Ella says.
"Well it has been a great time but I must get going now. Thank you once again."
"What about me? Don't I get a goodbye kiss?" Aaron says.
"No," I smile sarcastically to which Aaron acts offended.
I head out the front door and think of a way to get into my room.
I'll have to go through the window.
I struggle climbing up the tree which basically connects my house with Aaron's.
Funny how I never noticed it before.
Just before I get inside my room I hear someone, "Lee? What are you doing?" Aaron laughs.
"Well you see, I don't wanna wake my parents up sooo..." I say.
"Mhm well goodluck and hurry the fuck up!" He says before disappearing.. into the unknown..
Uh how rude!
I climb into my room and straight up dash to my bathroom.
I take a quick cold shower and almost freeze to death because I forgot to turn on the heater.
I put on the warmest most comfiest clothes I have in my closet.
Lie.
I actually just put on a hoodie and a pair of sweats.
I decide not doing make up and leave my hair down in my natural wavy state.
I take my keys, my phone and some lunch money and rush downstairs.
There's no one in the house, or atleast I think.
Mom and dad are probably passed out in their bedroom.
I leave the house and sure enough Aaron was waiting for me, leaning on his car.
Sometimes he is just so attractive.
Stop.
I knew Aaron was already waiting for me as I heard his car honk at me.
"You take forever to get ready," He remarks.
"I do not!" I protest.
"Yeah yeah."
We get in the car and drive off to school while listening to the aux.

It's lunch time right now and I'm putting away my books in my locker.
Aaron said he is already at the cafeteria so I should head there.
As soon as I close my locker, I'm pulled away into the janitors room. I look up and see Tyler with pleading eyes.
I feel slightly annoyed.
"Ashley I'm sorry I didn't mean it. I'm just going through.. a really hard time right now," Tyler begs with tears forming in his eyes. "Please just hear me out," His voice cracks.
I feel really bad now.
"Please don't cry," I say looking at him.
"Please Ashley," He begs.
"Okay," I say with a weak smile.
"My father.. h- he left.. again," He manages to say.
Oh.
Tyler and his dad have never really had a good relationship, his dad got his mom pregnant and left because he didn't want a child but came back again. Everything was going smooth and now he left again.
I feel so bad for him.
"I- I'm so sorry Ty," I say and pull him into a hug.
"No, I should be apologising for treating you like shit. I'm sorry," He says stroking my hair.
"It's okay, I forgive you," I smile.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Thank you so much."
"I'm so sorry for not trying to understand you before," I say.
"No no it's not your fault at all," He says.
We leave the janitors room and head to the cafeteria.
Aaron sees me and Tyler walking together and raises an eyebrow in confusion.
I walk up to the table and sit down beside Aaron.
"Reunited huh?" He whispers.
"Oh um yeah.." I say still not fully processing everything.
"Well I'm going to go buy my lunch, do you want me to get you something too?" He asks.
"Yes, thank god for once in your life you are being useful, now go." I say.
"Thats not what you were telling me last night, in fact.. I remember you telling me the exact opposite," He says and my face turns red in embarrassment.
It wasn't a dream.
He laughs before saying, "Well.. I'm not a mastermind, what do you want?"
"A sandwich and a coke please."
He nods and walks away.
I look over to Tyler and see him talking to Melissa like she is the only girl in the world, like as if whatever he told me, the tears, never happened.
Not a single hint of sadness, nothing.
He really is good at pretending.
