Chapter 1099
As if Zavier had got some kind of telepathic connection with him, right after Zavier hung up the phone, Marcus, who had just finished showering, sneezed.
Even though Cornelia was still angry with him, she was concerned that he might catch a cold. So she quickly grabbed a dry towel and said, âSit down, let me dry
your hairâ
Marcus had a habit of not drying his hair after showering, and every time he came out of the bathroom, his hair would still be dripping with water. But Cornelia had to admit that Marcus looked really appealing when he came out of the bathroom.
Every time she saw him, she couldnât help but sneak a few more glances. She even wanted to look at him forever.
Marcus asked, âArenât you mad at me anymore?â
Comelia glared at him in anger and said, âTll be mad at you after I dry your hairâ
Marcus was amused by her adorable appearance. He lifted her up and leaned her against the wall. âYou wanted to have a baby before, right? Shall we have a
child?â
Comelia was startled by his sudden action and instinctively held him tightly, looking like a koala clinging to him.
Marcus lowered his head and rubbed his forehead against hers, âCornelia, tell me, do you still want to have a baby?â
Every time he called her name, she found it incredibly pleasing. His voice was both sexy and husky, making her cheeks flush.
She did want to have a baby, she had always wanted to have several children, but the timing wasnât right now. âInt on my period. Letâs have a baby after itâs over.â Comelia said.
Marcus called her, âCornelia.â
Cornelia answered, âWhat?â
Marcus made a move and gently kissed her.
After a while, the slightly dazed Comelia heard him say, âBesides you, how could I possibly like any other woman?â
Cornelia wasnât sure if she misheard, so she wanted him to say it again. But suddenly, the phone rang, interrupting her thoughts.
Marcus seemed completely unaffected by the phone ringing and continued kissing her.
Comelia pushed him gently, âItâs the phoneâ
Marcus said, âIâm not answeringâ
The phone rang and stopped, stopped and rang again. It rang many times, before Marcus, satisfied, let go of her. He walked to the side and picked up the continuously ringing phone, answering, âIf I didnât answer your call, it means Iâm busy. Canât you see that?â
Steven said, âDid I interrupt the two of you?â
Marcus replied. âWhat do you think?â
Steven said, âZavier refused to see us, so you come and meet us.â
Marcus said, âWait there, Iâll be right over.â
Steven said, âOkayâ
Marcus hung up the phone and told Cornelia, âSteven and Lucas have arrived. Iâm going out to meet them.â
Cornelia asked, âDid Hannah and Rosie come too? If theyâre there, Iâll go with you.â
Marcus said, âSteven doesnât like it when you and Hannah are too close. You didnât sleep last night, you should rest at home and not make him unhappy.
Cornelia replied, âIf he doesnât want me to be close to Hannah, should I avoid her? Hannah is an independent individual too, sheâs not his accessory. Does she not even have the freedom to make friends?â
If Skylerâs incident hadnât happened, Cornelia might have avoided seeing Hannah for this reason, but now she wouldnât. Even if everyone scolded her for meddling. she still wanted to see Hannah
Marcus looked at her and said, âYour lips are swollen.â
Comelia was speechless
