Chapter 1504
Who doesnât love sports cars, right? Upon hearing this, Farley hollered excitedly, âYou are my only bro-in-lawâ¦â
The way he was acting, if you asked him to call Jarvis dad, heâd probably do it too.
âJarvis, donât make wild promises. How would he know what a sports car is?â Hannah came downstairs in her pajamas and tugged Farleyâs ear. âIf you want a sports car, earn it yourself. Donât expect handouts.â
Farley ducked his head. âIt was hw who offered, not me asking for it.â
Jarvis, âWell, he did call me bro-in-law so nicely, so I decided to give it to him.â
Hannah, âJarvis, donât make promises you canât keep.â
Jarvis, âOnly promises that canât be fulfilled are unfulfillable. When he turns eighteen, Iâll gift him an Aston Martin, thatâs a promise kept.âe2
Aston Martin! That car was too pricey, most folks wouldnât even dare dream about it. But in Farleyâs heart, no car, no matter how fancy, could compare to Hannah. âHannah, the carâs not important, seeing you is.â
He spread his arms. âI want a hug.â
Hannah found his behavior somewhat annoying, but she opened her arms and embraced him anyways. âYouâre all grown up now but still acting like a kid, always demanding hugs.â
Farley grinned. âYou said no matter how old I get, Iâll always be your little brother.â
Hannah, âYou better go ask Dad for two hundred dollars. Itâs for Dales. Dalesâ kid might need help with math homework, youâre going to help him.â
Farley, âI donât want to leave you.â
Hannah, âUp to you, I wonât force you. Go ask Dad for the money, and give it to Dales. Make sure he accepts it. Once youâre done, hurry back for the grilled fish
Farley, âWhereâs Dad? Iâve been back for a while and havenât seen him yet.â
Jeo in the yard rolled his eyes.
This kid! He just ran past Jeo, and now he was saying he didnât see him. Clearly, his sister was more important to him.
Hannah, âDadâs in the yard cleaning fish.â
Farley, âAlright, Iâll go now. Iâll be back after I deliver the money to hang with you and my bro-in-law.â He was really natural at calling someone bro-in-law.

Jeo, who was cleaning fish in the yard, felt extremely awkward. Thankfully, aside from looking a bit sour, Steven didnât react.
However, Farley quickly realized he shouldnât be so casual about calling someone bro-in-law. He walked into the yard, and only then did he realize not only his dad but also his ex-brother-in-law were there.
Jeo couldnât help him.
Farley opened his mouth. âBro-in-lawâ¦â
Steven tossed the fish he was cleaning and slowly stood up. âSay it louder.â
Farley swallowed hard, intimidated by Stevenâs aura. âBro-in-law!â
Steven, âWhen you turn eighteen, Iâll give you a private jet.â
Farley started to doubt his ears. âAre you for real?â
Jeo quickly handed Farley two hundred dollars, not wanting to witness any more embarrassment, âGo deliver this to Dales.â
Farley, âDad!â
Jeo asked, âWhat is it?â
Farley said, âIf both of my bro-in-lawsâ promises are real, can I stop going to school? Can I do nothing and just live like this?â
