I woke up and began reading.Present:   “3 years Allson, 3 years. It's been the best of our lives, how could you even think of leaving me for good?"~ Samantha  Love marriage being the commonest thing in cities, was on the peak. After the death of his parents he didn't have much choice left in life. He had to live with his grandparents. His grandparents were not of modern thoughts. They considered finding a partner for their grandson was a part of their department. Being their only grandson and a reputed doctor in the city, they wanted a girl from their clan to marry him. Living in the city and getting back to his roots was exciting for him.  One week back he had sent a photo of him and her to his grandparents, he didn't know how they would react. He was nervous thinking about the the photo he sent them. They spoke to him on call, with great excitement. He had also assured Samantha that he would convince them. She was excited for finally wanting to be with him the whole life, but back in the village they started preparing for his wedding without his knowledge. He finally reached home, and saw that the house was well decorated. Beautiful lights and fresh expensive Orchids with lilies in line, made the house look bliss.   On seeing his arrival the grandparents greeted him. They gave him tasty food to eat. Nervously, he told them about Samantha and himself, living together since 3 years, and his urge to marry her. He spoke to them about why he loved her, but his grandmother disapproved the girl even without seeing her face virtually. She told him that city girls have attitude and they won't leave their job after marriage. The grandmother was thinking about herself only, wanting a free maid in her house. Three days later they forcefully got him engaged to Grace, a semi - educated village girl. He got married against his will, but his main issue was letting Samantha go. He loved her so much that he couldn't leave her.   He didn't want to even look at Grace's face. He hated Grace. She didn't know the reason of his strong resentment for her. She kept herself busy working around the house, while Allson, was busy reading his books. He ignored Samantha's calls, hardly talking to her for an hour. He couldn't confess his biggest mistake to her. He only told her that his grandmother was ill. After almost a month of his not returning to the city, Samantha was worried for him. Somehow he convinced his grandmother that he had to return back, to work. She allowed him, but Grace remained back home.   Grace worked expecting no love in return. She didn't even get the bare minimum, he never called her back. Until a month later after he went back to the city. He sent her some goodies from the city. He called her to enquire if she got them. She thanked him, for his gifts. She applied the cream regularly, and seemed happy for receiving a gift from her man. He continued living with Samantha without letting her know any thing about his marriage. He was a smart man indeed. How long could he hide things?   Samantha was happy with Allson, now she began troubling him to meet his grandparents for finalizing marriage date. He kept delaying this and scolded her upon bringing up this topic. She never asked him again and they continued living together. It had been almost 6 months now, and his grandmother called, Allson decided to make a visit back to the village. This time Samantha wanted to go with him. Their fights kept on increasing until, he told Samantha that he was going to leave her. With tears in his eyes, he broke up with her, he decided to never return and pack up his things. He even have up his heavy paying job without telling her.   Samantha didn't want to leave him so she began fighting with him, thinking that he was joking with her. He didn't want to let her know the reason of his breakup. So he blamed it all on her mood swings. She was heart broken, and yelled at him, “3 years Allson, 3 years. It's been the best of our lives, how could you even think of leaving me for good?"~ Samantha. Everything was a nightmare for that girl who was loyal to him all these years. The girl who wiped his tears and helped him in all his difficult times, had lost him without her fault. She was gritting her teeth in anger, trembling and crying on the floor. Her heart was shattered. She didn't believe what was happening around her. He was still busy packing up and silently crying, he didn't know that he would go through the situation of losing her ever in his life.   She stood up and went to his room, and knocked the door. He didn't respond. He stopped packing and sat silently on his study table to write down a note.   The Note:   “This note is for you, my love. Hope to find you in good spirits when you read this, last note of my life. I can't live without you, hence I decide to end it all. I can't live with a heavy burden of spoiling your life. Last night after we had our best night together, the intimacy we shared will always be cherished by me even after my death, my grandmother called, she told me that if I don't return back home she will end her life.   Another harsh truth I hid from you was that, I am married. I still love you... Sammy."  He ended his note, and she kept knocking. He kept the note on the table and opened the door to see her face for the last time. It was raining outside and very windy, the window was open. She forgot all her anger and began crying by hugging him tightly. She didn't want to leave him. She tried explaining him that she would no longer argue with him. He still didn't bother. She stopped hugging and said with teary eyes, “dear, if you really wish to end it after all these years, I agree. I can't trap you after all. If you never loved me, it's all okay, but I do love you and will love you all my life."  {Please viewers this is my first chapter hope you all find it interesting.}
