When Zero inhales, his lungs are filled with the sweetest fragrance he has the pleasure of smelling, something soft tickles his nose yet it doesn't bother him when it smells more than pleasant for him. The perfect figure befitting his arms pressed against his front, warm, delightful. He releases a soft sigh, nuzzling Yukashi's hair and tightens his hold around his torso, fingers locked together.
He opens his eyes slowly, a smile etching on his face to see the platinum blonde hair tousled down to the soft pale neck. He presses his lips onto the small visible skin untouched by the mane then proceeds to kiss where Yukashi's shoulder and neck meet causing his lips to tingle at the contact as does his entire body from the close proximity of their bare bodies.
Pressing his lips onto the shoulder next, lavender eyes spot a small mark on his neck. This one is a pink birthmark something he could have easily missed by Yukashi's hair length. Yukashi shifts lightly with a shiver; Zero then nuzzles his neck taking in the scent of the Pureblood. "Good morning." The platinum blonde hair vampire murmurs in the midst of his slumber; Zero lifts his head dipping his chin on Yukashi's shoulder relishing in the solace between them. "Good morning," He responds brushing his nose against Yukashi's ear.
Zero feels Yukashi shifting around and he raises his arm waiting until he is face to face with Yukashi's breathtaking eyes accompanied by the bright smile on the very lips Zero wants to consume. "Is your back okay?" He asks softly, his hand finding its way to the side of Yukashi's face and tucking blonde strands behind his ear while toying with his bangs. "It's fine, I'm sorry about last night." Yukashi says leaning his face closer to Zero.
The silver hair vampire recalls the discussion; the anger sparked like a flame inside of him thinking he was going to lose someone important to him to Kaname again. It feels different somehow; with Yuuki he wanted her to choose him but he could never fight for her knowing it was futile. With Yukashi he felt he'd tear the Pureblood Lord to pieces if he so much as laid a finger on Yukashi.
Zero would bring hell lose on Kaname if he has to because to Zero, Yukashi is his. "Not your fault. I just lost it." His lips twitch with a slight curve forming into a ghost smile, closing the remaining distance between them and presses his lips softly against Yukashi. Yukashi responds along Zero, melting into Zero's embrace.
A rap against the door reaches Zero's ears forcing him to pull back frown wondering who it is at his door; it doesn't take long to guess who it is and he curses under his breath jumping off the bed and grabbing his undergarments. "Give me a moment!" Zero shouts in frustration, hurriedly pull his pants and does the zipper; he grabs his button-up white shirt slipping it on without bothering with the buttons.
He reaches the door, opening enough for her to see him standing in front of her indecently dressed. Lilac eyes fall on a brunette, her coffee bean brown eyes gaze up at him quizzically and when her eyes flash with recognition-Zero knew Yuuki is aware of who's in his bedroom. "Sorry to bother you but you said you'd come with Yori-chan and me to town."
Zero gazes at her blankly then it hits him he did agree with her absentmindedly to go to town-although, he can't remember what it was Sayori needed to buy into town. "Give me twenty minutes. I'll meet you at the gate." He replies.
Yuuki smiles, "I'll let Yori know, say hello to him for me." A soft giggle leaves her lips, eyes glinting as if she knows something Zero doesn't; he gives her a look before peering over his shoulder to see Yukashi moving to Zero's side of the bed. "I will." Turning back to Yuuki she waves at him slightly and he closes the door swirling to face Yukashi.
He cocks an eyebrow, the white sheets barely covering Yukashi's lower waist-exposing the lean muscles and narrow hips aside from the soft pale skin appearing so flawless as they felt under Zero's fingers. When Yukashi moves his head with his face buried in Zero's pillow, it strikes something inside of Zero seeing the blonde looking at him with a smile on his face...in his bed.
"What?" The beautiful Pureblood asks, turning his body to the side while keeping his head on the pillow and the movement captivates Zero; the lines of Yukashi's abdomen and hip dries his mouth wishing the sheets wasn't hiding the lower portion of his body. "I...uh...I have to go to town, I told Yuuki I would go with her for Sayori." He blurts absentmindedly.
"Does that mean you're not staying?" Yukashi questions, Zero notices the disappointment in his tone and his heart squeezes painfully in response. "No, sorry. You can stay here if you want, it shouldn't take more than an hour." Zero attempts to make the situation a little better-mostly for Yukashi's sake as it would plague Zero for the rest of the day knowing Yukashi left because he made him feel sad again.
"I would but Kaname is expecting me back. Will I see you later today?" He musters a smile, a part of Zero is relieved and another part is curious about his reaction. It doesn't Yukashi bother him he is going out with Yuuki? "Yeah, sure." The bemusement is barely noticeable in his tone.
Zero's lavender eyes are glued to Yukashi's movements; the silk slides down dropping onto the bed as Yukashi reaches out for him-standing on his knees and Zero steps forward snaking his arms around his waist and he feels Yukashi's fingers curl onto the back of his head. His eyes flicker a faint shade of crimson, averting his attention to the blooming lavender mark glowing a blueish, lilac color.
So beautiful. "Have fun," Yukashi's soft voice is music to Zero's ears. His body is tingling all over the place, increasing the lustful sensation-the need to keep Yukashi with him at all times. The need to feel him in his arms and never let go, to be surrounded by the pungent and intoxicating fragrance for eternity. The notion is-although pleasing-it seemingly scares Zero simultaneously. "We still have to talk about some things." Yukashi adds.
Zero nods, eyes lifting steadily landing on Yukashi's lips; before Zero can stop himself from giving in to the urges, his lips hover over Yukashi's taking his time to feel him, smell him, and dive into the kiss. It's very slow, taking his time in capturing Yukashi's lips and moving in perfect sync. His arms tighten around his lithe frame, mind hazy, heart pounding in his chest. The kiss is filled with desire, a sense of reluctance in ever releasing the Pureblood in his arms-or letting him go at all, to begin with.
Zero has can't seem to remember how Yuuki managed to get him to agree in coming out to town for Sayori and he can think of many reasons why he can't remember. He wouldn't be surprised if Yuuki caught him in one of his moments-distracted by thinking of Yukashi and responding in an appealing manner to whatever Yuuki says. It wouldn't be the first time it has happened to him but it is surely the first time knowing why he did.
Sayori and Yuuki giggles, laughs, eats, and expresses their opinions. Apparently, Sayori's reason for going out shopping today is because Aido's birthday is coming up. He can't help being a little annoyed of this knowledge which will make his work that much difficult to do when the fangirls start throwing gifts to the very vampire who tried to hurt Yuuki in the past. It appalls him how easily those vampires have these humans wrapped around their fingers yet not care.
Of course, it's a different case between Yukashi and Zero...because they are soulmates? Zero doesn't necessarily know what to feel about the whole 'soulmate' situation aside from the fact it makes him feel things he never allowed himself to feel before. This leads him to think about what Yukashi had said last night-being the Progenitor of the Shoto family. It explains why Yukashi feels different from the normal Pureblood, why he lets out a presence matching Kaname's.
Which means Yukashi is thousands of years old as Kaname including the fact they see each other as 'brothers'. A shiver runs down his spine, ignoring glances thrown his way by hunters who don't seem very keen on having a vampire-hunter or not-roaming around the town. The shiver is also because of the notion finally wrapping around his head of Yukashi being so much older than Zero previously thought.
Zero flicks silver strands getting in the way of his eyes then faintly brushes against his silver earrings on his right ear and goes over to his left ear to feel the silver cartilage at the top of his ear. An idea comes to mind unsure why he subtly thinks it would be a good notion to consider it but he can't help feeling a little excited about it. "Yuuki, can we stop by somewhere?" Zero asks out of the blue unintentionally interrupting the conversation between the blonde and the brunette.
Yuuki gazes up at the tall silver hair hunter and smiles, "Sure!"
It feels strange to him-he doesn't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing. Feels strange to him how things change so much and so quickly for him, although at times it feels as if the days drag slowly and tortuously while others are swift, disappointing. Aside from it, he finds his feet directing him to the Moon Dormitory.
The last place Zero Kiryu would ever be seen going in unless it was with Yuuki. He isn't sure how he is planning to give Yukashi what is in his hand; he isn't sure if they would allow him inside in the first place. He gazes up the lofty gate, the bright sun glinted the silver entrance and before they appear he smells them.
A vampire with ash blonde hair framing his round, delicate face in an unkempt demeanor and forest green eyes; Takuma Ichijo possess a lean and thin figure, his skin rather fair but a bit tan and one of the taller Night Class students aside from being the Vice President of the Night Class. Zero vaguely remembers him to be rather close to Kaname-perhaps the only vampire who refers to Kaname without any honorifics.
Takuma smiles as if he knew Zero would come which seemingly unnerved the silver hair hunter from the other side of the gate, "Zero, I thought you'd come. You must be here to say your farewells to Yukashi." Takuma greets hauling the gate ajar granting Zero permission to enter. Zero's heart drops to his stomach, breathing hitches at the knowledge of Yukashi's departure.
"He's leaving?" His question has Takuma immediately realize the situation, "I thought you knew." He closes the gate, eyebrows furrowing in bemusement without the smile on his lips faltering.
Zero doesn't think twice, rushing to the large dormitory resembling that of a mansion; when he enters-the entry hall is spacious and stunning. Zero can't bring himself to focus when Yukashi's fragrance is pungent in the air unable to pinpoint where exactly the platinum blonde Pureblood is residing. He takes a deep whiff of the air ascending the grand staircase leading to the upper floor and disregards other Night Class students glancing his way tensely.
His steps nearly falter when the scent dizzying his mind is stronger on the left; he proceeds to that exact direction. Hurrying past rows and rows of doors hoping he can reach there in time and ask what the hell Takuma was talking about Yukashi's departure. Yukashi never mentioned any of it to him this morning, he clearly remembers him saying there were still things he needed to talk with him of.
But leaving? It doesn't make sense to Zero.
His grips the plastic bag once he halts in front of a door where the fragrance of Yukashi comes out the strongest; biting his lower lip anxiously he knocks with his unoccupied hand. The broad door standing between him and the person he wants to see is opened, revealing a wavy, platinum blonde hair vampire gazing up at him with his breathtaking soft blue eyes. Yukashi blinks in surprise, "Zero? What are you doing here?" His question angers Zero, lavender eyes glaring down at the Pureblood.
"When were you going to tell me you were leaving?" Zero responds. Yukashi's eyes widen slightly, reaching out to Zero's shirt and pull him inside of the room closing it behind him. The room itself is large, meant for one person yet somehow it gives an antique vibe. "I was going to inform you once I was done packing." Yukashi answered softly walking to his medium-sized mattress where a suitcase and a pile of clothes reside.
Zero's heart clenches in his chest-agony tearing into him at the notion that perhaps it all meant nothing. He can't jump to such conclusions unless he hears it from Yukashi himself, "Why?" Is all he can bring himself to ask at the moment.
Lavender eyes gazing at his lean back, Yukashi reluctant in facing him as he continues to put one material after another in his suitcase, "I must return to the Shoto Mansion, family matters."
"Family matters? It's not an excuse to leave is it." The last part isn't a question, it's more of an unconfirmed statement-Zero hopes it remains exactly as an unconfirmed statement. Yukashi snaps his head to look at Zero shaking his head, "No! No, it isn't...it's just...I really have to go. I need to get there as soon as possible." Zero senses Yukashi holding something back from him.
"There's something you're not telling me." He advocates drawing closer to the shorter Pureblood with a stern expression on his face; Yukashi stiffens and Zero takes notice instantaneously, "Zero, it's not that easy. Can we talk after I return in a few days? They're expecting me." Yukashi does it again.
Zero glares at the back of Yukashi's head refusing the response Yukashi is giving him and so retraces his steps to stand in front of the door-locking it behind him which draws Yukashi's attention. Soft blues glinting in bemusement, "What are you doing?" Yukashi enquires.
"I'm not letting you out of this room until you tell me what it is you're not telling me. I'm sure they can wait." Zero replies calmly.
"No, they can't wait. I have to return as soon as possible now move from the door or-" Zero interrupts Yukashi with a snap, "Or what? What are you going to do?" His tone expressing his deep anger; Zero had gone through enough situations with Yukashi, having to figure out what he wanted, what he needs, what he feels and the last thing he wants is for Yukashi to be reserved while Zero opens up to him.
Yukashi has no right to keep himself closed off from Zero after all the effort he had put in making Zero become more open towards him and it annoys Zero how he is trying yet Yukashi is not offering anything in return. How does he expect this to work when Yukashi isn't telling him anything?
Yukashi's silence tells Zero he can't do anything even if he wants to and that is enough to keep Yukashi here until he hears what Yukashi is keeping from him. It is already adequate knowing his soul is bound to the one Pureblood he wants to put a bullet through-aside from the fact Yukashi is the Progenitor of the Shoto family, something Zero can bring himself to accept more than Kaname. "Zero, please. I have to go. I'll be back in a few days hopefully." The Pureblood pleads the hunter.
For a split second Zero feels himself falter gazing at Yukashi's soft blue eyes expressing deep concern, sincerity, and a hint of fear. What is Yukashi so afraid of? Zero shakes his head, "No. Not until you tell me."
Yukashi throws the remaining clothes into his suitcase and zips it close, "You want to know? Fine," He hauls it off his bed and onto the floor beside his feet; swirling to face Zero, "I have to return to my son who has been unwell the past few days."
Zero's lavender eyes wide in shock, frozen in front of the door as his brain echoes the fact Yukashi has a son which he is now knowing exists. He isn't sure why he is so shocked, Zero knew Yukashi is thousands of years old-something he can look past-but a son is something else entirely. "A son? You have a son?" He repeats resulting in Yukashi biting his lower lip averting his eyes to the floor appearing seemingly ashamed.
"Yes." He replies almost inaudibly. Zero blinks a few times, "How old is he?" He finds himself asking.
"Six."
"What's his name?"
"Taji."
"Taji..." Zero says the name of a six-year-old child-a six-year-old child belonging to none other than the vampire he has been developing a unique bond with. Yukashi is a father? This entire time Yukashi has kept silent over having a child makes no sense why he would leave his own son to attend Cross Academy. "When were you going to tell me?" Zero's voice is harsh and vexed.
Tightening his hold on the plastic bag he steps closer to Yukashi, disbelief brewing in his vein twisting painfully in his chest at the fact Yukashi kept something so important from him. Zero has no idea what to think anymore, he doesn't know what is occurring and tries to understand the situation he is in. Yukashi doesn't look at him angering the silver hair hunter further and he stalks to the shorter vampire grabbing his arm firmly forcing him to look at Zero.
"I asked when-" He stops his yells when he notices the soft blues shimmering with unshed tears as the trepidation becomes clearer to Zero. Awareness hitting Zero over the head now comprehending why Yukashi did not say anything about his son; he was afraid it would make Zero push him away. Reject him.
If Yukashi had not made him face his feelings and be open about them in front of Yukashi then Zero was certain he would most likely reject Yukashi. Not because Yukashi is a father to a six-year-old child but because he would consider a child needing his father more than Zero would need Yukashi. He would consider the child's parent unlike Zero who had lost them almost five years ago-a memory that will forever haunt him as he lives and breathes as the creature he became to be that night.
Zero embraces Yukashi in his arms, burying his nose onto his wavy blonde hair feeling so soft to his snowy white skin; his heart warms when Yukashi returns his gesture dipping his face into his chest. "Let me go with you, I want to meet him." Zero announces.
He most definitely is not accepting a 'no' for an answer.
