Yukashi Shoto has no idea what to do.

After that night of intense pleasure, he was forced to leave again without being able to talk about it. The next day, exams approached as well as Kaname's inevitable concern when he returned with wrinkled clothes, blood and grime staining his jacket, and messy hair. The scent of the vampire hunter thickly lingering on Yukashi's body which only added to Kaname's apprehensions.

"Yukashi, there's something you need to know." Kaname announces, helping the platinum blonde Progenitor into the bed after he had washed himself; blue eyes flicker to the brunette furrowing his eyebrows as he tries to lay on his bed without his back hurting too much. Once he is settled, Kaname stares deeply into his eyes.

An action Kaname does when he is sympathetic, "What is it?" Yukashi inquires when his soul bound brother says nothing. Kaname flickers his eyes elsewhere sitting on the edge of Yukashi's bed, "Zero is in love with Yuki."

Yukashi says nothing at all, his flawless features slipping into a state of stoicism and Kaname knows full well what it means.

Since then, Yukashi has been observing Yuki and Zero interact with each other, ignore his presence when it was time for his night class, and tries his best to fight himself to not go to the Sun Dorm to see him. Yukashi has no idea what to do, he has no idea how to get Zero to listen to him.

"Yukashi!" The Pureblood hears Aido call out his name gaining his attention; he raises an eyebrow at the golden blonde vampire who is grinning, "Aido." Yukashi addresses him.

The vampire flings his arms around the shorter male, "Want to head out? I heard there's a small event being held in the main building, there will be a lot of girls." He winks suggestively; Yukashi gives a drawl stare trying to remind himself no one knows he is mated to Zero. The notion of the vampire hunter brings him unimaginable suffering, "I rather stay in here. I have an exam very soon-"

Aido rolls his eyes interrupting the smaller blonde, "We both know you can pass it with flying colors."

"Unfortunately, you won't have colors to flaunt about if you continue the way you are." Yukashi retorts earning a pout from Aido. Yukashi has become gradually closer to the vampire who follows Kaname so closely and loyally which at some point, Kaname has told him Aido had confessed his romantic feelings for him some time ago.

Regrettably, Kaname's eyes are completely on Yuki and much to Yukashi's misfortune, so is Zero's eyes. "Do you have to be so mean?"

"Aido," Aido's cousin—Akatsuki Kain capture both blonde's attention. Kain is a fairly muscular Aristocrat in addition to being the tallest of the Night class. His skin noticeably tanner than other vampires, his spiky hair a brownish-orange with burnt-orange eyes. He gives an impression of a gangster especially when he is wearing a silver earring and his black shirt unbuttoned.

"What are you bothering Yukashi for? I already said I'm going with you." Kain says in a toneless voice. Aido grins again, "You always go with me. Are you sure you don't have a crush on one of the Day class girls?"

"Who has a crush on who now?" Ruka appears behind Kain causing Yukashi to blind at her subtle appearance. Similarly, to Kain, she is taller than the female Night class students. Her frame slim and feminine, long and wavy toffee hair with messy bangs framing her forehead; she is pale except noticeably darker than most and her wide eyes a coffee bean brown color.

Kain's full attention is now on Ruka, "Aido on all Day class girls." He responds boldly. "Hey! You're making me sound like a terrible guy."

"You are a terrible guy." Yukashi, Kain, and Ruka reply simultaneously.

"Would it kill you to be nice?" Aido whines leaning his weight on Yukashi; Yukashi sighs shaking off the arm from his shoulders preparing to retreat to his suit. "I have work to do. Have fun." Yukashi declares dismissively walking to the opposite direction of where they are heading.

"No, you don't you're coming with us." The golden blonde states outstretching for the platinum blonde's wrist who—faster than Aido—removes his hand before Aido can touch him. Yukashi peers over his shoulder, "I am busy, Aido." Blue eyes flicker to a sparkling red taking the vampire by surprise at the sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach—giving an impression of dominance much like Kaname.

"S-Sorry." Is the first, instinctual word leaving Aido's lips. Yukashi realizing what he has done sighs, eyes returning to its soft blue, "You're right, I need to go out more often. What's the event about?" He gives in facing the Aristocrat.

Aido brightens, smiling so wide acting as if nothing at all has happened but it lingers, sparking his inquisitiveness more. "Well..."

Yukashi blinks, observing the liveliness of the Day class students who put up stands for food, games, and other things. Yukashi flashes a smile to his admirers, "It's him. It's Shoto." The girls whisper among themselves in excitement.

"Already a 'Prince' to their eyes in a short time." Aido chuckles winking and blowing kisses to the other ladies whose eyes are on him; Yukashi peers over at Aido not at all feeling it as much as Aido is to be looked up by humans. "Is that jealousy I hear?" Yukashi teases keeping the smile in place.

Aido snaps his head to him feigning shock, "Me? Jealous? Never. These lovely flowers love me." He gestures the entire Day class students.

Yukashi narrows his eyes making them appear cold, "Aido, we both know you only see them as a source of food. The first one to give themselves to you, you'd take it." His statement causes Aido to pull a veil of density, tilting his head, "Of course I don't see them in such a way. Oh! They have chocolates!" The golden blonde vampire directs the subject elsewhere.

Yukashi is left on his own, gazing at the small event spotting Kain and Ruka hovering one stand full of pastries. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to come here which is quickly confirmed when a lovely fragrance of sweet flowers teases his senses; the mark on his neck burning at his presence. He definitely shouldn't have come.

He turns around returning to the same direction he had come from ignoring Zero's existence altogether. It is painful. Having to pretend he isn't there when he can smell him, feel him, and he hates the way his body reacts as if his hands are everywhere. It takes all of Yukashi's willpower to brush it aside and walk past the pair.

A shiver rakes down his spine when he feels eyes on his back; he has to ignore it. He doesn't know what else to do. Zero is in love with someone who will become Kaname's wife. In love with someone he knows is a Pureblood and of course, Yukashi would know.

Unlike Kaname when he was awakened by Rido Kuran, Yukashi retained this very form having been in a church and consumed the blood of the humans. He's been keeping a low profile as soon as he found out his remaining Shoto descendant is in slumber. His mind wrapped entirely in his own views, he realizes too late how the mark hidden underneath his bandage is blistering his pale skin and the sweet flowery fragrance surrounding him entirely.

He stops in his tracks whirling around to face Zero, cold lavender eyes glaring down at him and Yukashi can't help the chills rushing through his body. "Come with me." His voice low and monotonous. Yukashi blinks, raising his hand to his bandaged neck, "I rather not. You make it pretty clear you want nothing to do with me. Go back to your precious Yuuki." His heart is pounding in his chest, mustering a cold glare of his own demonstrating he will not allow himself to be ordered around whenever Zero feels like it.

Zero expresses mild annoyance, "I just want to talk about the other night. Leave Yuuki out of this, she has nothing to do with this." He replies, intensifying his glare doing no effect whatsoever to scare Yukashi. The blonde Pureblood scoffs, "She has everything to do with this. Will you excuse me, I have exams to take later on after sundown. Like every vampire." He yanks his wrist away from Zero; pain lacerates his heart except he is determined not to show anything as he whirls around facing away from the vampire hunter.

Zero grits his jaw trying to fight back the temptation to go after him.

Yukashi continues walking, silently hoping Zero would stop him and at least try to reach out to him but in the end, it's exactly as he had thought. He shouldn't expect him to come after him when his Princess is in need of his knight and while Zero is playing the knight, Yukashi is playing the role of a grieving lover.

Yukashi has never dislike someone so strongly before.
