ððððð I had no mobile DATA ooo! The experience was sooo bad!

"I am serious!" I insisted.
"But Freddy said that it was for me. He didn't mention your name!" Anita hissed. She smiled at the shopping bag filled with the tantalizing pastries.
"How can only you finish it?"
"I can jor!"
"See, Anita! Half of those things are mine. I just decided to put it in that bag" I lied.
"Naomi! Naomi! Naomi! How many times did I call your name?"
I rolled my eyes.
"If I find out that it all belongs to me, you will be in big trouble!" Naomi placed her hands on her hip and narrowed her eyes at me.
"Ask Freddy! He will tell you himself!" I added to make my lie sound convincing.
"Oya na! Let me ask him!"
My eyes widened. I shook my head. "Longathroat! Just for doughnuts and egg rolls you will go and call a boy. You can't even share!" I sneered.
"Fine!" she sighed. "Maybe I will give you small!"
"Small?"
"Yes na! I am sure you enjoyed yourself eating there. This is the little I can enjoy. Lemme eat in peace!" she threw herself on the couch, pulled a doughnut and started munching on it.
"Okay! Fine! I will give you some of my fish rolls. Don't finish it for me. I want to go and have my shower" I exclaimed.
I just got back from my date. Freddy had decided to tell Anita himself that he bought the snacks for her.As soon as he left, I started my lie to manipulate her. I just want to taste some of them. She can't finish it alone. Like they say, there is love in sharing.
"Wait first!" she roared. "Where do you think you are going?"
"To the bathroom! Isn't that obvious?"
"You need to give me full details of the date! Come and gist me" she gushed.
"I will tell you later!" I slouched my shoulder. "I'm tired".
"If I slap you eh! Come here jare!"
"See! We took pictures. Maybe you can be looking at it while I bathe!" I pulled my phone from my jeans pocket.
"Okay!"
"Oh, wait! We took the picture in Freddy's phone!" I sighed.
"Ask him to send it through whatsapp!" Anita spoke with an impatient tone.
"Okay!" I scrolled through my apps, selected whatsapp and sent 'Hi!' to Freddy. He was quick to answer.
Me: Hi!
Freddy: Sup, babylicious!ð
Me: ð¤¦ð¤¦When will you have sense?
Freddy: ð I already have sense.
Me: Could you pls send all our pictures. Not all oo! My phone doesn't have enough storage sha. Just send the ones you can. Be quick or Anita will kill me soon.
Freddy: ð I will be slow. Muahaha.
Me: ðð
My phone was roughly snatched from my hand. I sent a icy glare at Anita as she scrolled through my phone.
She smirked and burst laughing "Babylicious?"
I rolled my eyes and warned, "I will go and bath now. Don't you dare send any stupid message to Freddy".
"Don't worry, I won't send any of your ugly pictures to Freddy and I will definitely not send a 'love you so much' message!" she winked and a sinister smile played on her face.
"Please! Don't do it!"
"I said I won't!"
"I don't trust you!" I narrowed one of my eyes at her.
She laughed at the silly face I did and shook her head.
"Go and bath Naomi. I won't do it"
I nodded and left. Something was telling me that she would and I chose to ignore it.
I'm sure Anita will act matured! She won't do it.
When I got back she was excitedly jumping about. My eyes wanted to fall out of its socket.
"Anita, what did you do?"
"Naomi oo! So you kissed Freddy!"
"Me? No oo! Why would you say that"
"Look at this picture!" she wiggled my phone at my face. I chuckled when I noticed the image of Freddy and me.
"Oh! It just looks like we are kissing!" I giggled.
"Are you sure? Don't lie to me oo!" she probed.
"I'm not lying!"
"Trust me! You guys make a perfect picture couple!" she sighed in satisfaction.
"Picture couple?"
"All your pictures are so awesome!" she exclaimed. "You and Freddy are cute together".
"Really?"
"See for yourself!" she shoved the phone into my hand. I gazed at it and blushed. We actually looked good together.
Anita scrolled it for me and paused. "In this selfie, you look like a monkey!" she chortled.
"That was the goal. We wanted to do a monkey face" I explained.
"Ah!" she gasped. "You ugly pass. Even Freddy is fine!"
I burst into a fit of laughters.
"Azin eh! Freddy is even fine when doing a monkey face unlike me" I laughed.
"Ehen! Freddy said that he bought the snacks for only me!" she pursed her lips and eyed me. "Yeye girl!"
I burst out laughing harder.
"But seriously Naomi, what made you take all these pictures? The Naomi I know never takes pictures" she said and bit from a fish roll.
"iPhone is a really good phone!" I replied.
"No oo! Not that! I mean...look!" she pointed at the picture where Freddy gave me a back hug and was whispering something in my ear.
We really look like a happy couple. How is that possible?
"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Anita screamed dramatically. "You are smiling like you are in love with him. How did that happen?"
I laughed and a smirk crept to my lips.
"Anita, I have a juicy gist for you. You will get to understand the secrets behind that picture" I winked and laughed. The memory of Sandra hovered in my mind.
My phone buzzed and I looked at the screen. My mouth dropped.
Me: Freddy, I love you so so much ðâ¤ððð Pls be my forever boyfriend ð
I never wrote that! Never!
I glanced at the living room and Anita had disappeared. I could hear her evil laughter.
Anita! Expect my payback.Watch and see!
I read Freddy's message.
Freddy: Is this really Cupcake ð§ I refuse to believe.
Once again, I was laughing hard. I clasped my stomach and my voice roared in the living room.
Me: ðð¤£ð¤£ð¤£ It was Anita
Freddy: I knew it! You can never type that ð My heart is broken! ð
Me: Eyah! Pele! No vex take sweet! ð
Freddy: ð¤²ð¾ Oya give me the sweet!
Me: ð¬ð¬ ð
When I realised I had sent a kissing emoji, I slapped myself.
Anyways! I think he deserves to have a kissing emoji for today.
Freddy: ðððð Good night Cupcake! Dream of me! ð
Night?
I looked at the sky and gasped.
"It is already dark. What happened to my parents?" I voiced. I quickly texted Goodnight ð and shut my phone.
"Let me just go and wash plate. I no want my mama's wahala!" I sighed.

I walked into my class after the long, boring and annoying Principal assembly speech ended.
Na wa oo! Why does that man talk a lot? My leg aches!
"Naomi oo!" Peggy screamed my name and waggled her brows.
I flinched, placed my hands on my chest and yelled, "You almost gave me a heart attack!"
"Come here!" she ordered.
I rolled my eyes and walked to her.
"So you and Freddy went on a date abi?" she squeaked.
"Date? Who told you?"
"Have you checked Freddy's whatsapp status? It's there na!" she placed her hand on my shoulder.
Freddy! How dare you?
"You guys look so perfect together!" she shrieked. "The Fraomi love boat!"
I bit back a smile from crawling to my face.
"When I saw the picture that looked like you guys were kissing. I almost died! It was too awesome!" excitement flickered in her eyes as she jumped up and down.
"You know that we weren't kissing right?" I asked.
"I thought you were but Freddy told me you weren't. He said he wanted to though" she winked at me. "Kiss him na!"
"Mtchew!"
"He is your boyfriend!"
"So?"
Peggy shook her head and smiled. "I still love you guys relationship. When you want to kiss, tell me okay? So I can watch it with a popcorn!" she burst into a fit of laughter.
Gosh, it's like she is related to SpongeBob! How are their laughter alike?
I noticed Freddy wasn't in class.
When he comes, he will explain why he posted our pictures on his status. This boy needs beating.
Three long and exhausting class periods later, Freddy was still not in school. I glanced at his empty seat beside me and sighed.
What happened to him?
I turned back to my desk.
He better comes to school. I need to yell at him. How can he put my picture on his status? What if my paremys saw it? Oh wait! I don't think they can, can they?
A thought slapped into my head.
Stupid girl, you are meant to be worried if Freddy is okay. Have you forgotten he is your boyfriend?
