Tonis POV
I can't believe that I thought that Serena would be okay to go back to work. While she didn't have to have surgery she still went through everything else with me and I was so selfish to not even think of her. I kicked myself mentally knowing I had to make it up to her.
Thinking back on all the time we had spent together over the past two years made me smile so much.
She makes me happy, and why she even chose me to begin with I'll never know.
I got to thinking about all our dates and our wedding, my mind wondered to the time she was in hospital. Before I knew it I was bawling my eyes out.
Serena looked so small, sad and so sick and I never thought that I would ever see her like that especially not in the first few months of being together.
Once I got to the shops I sat in the car trying to calm myself down and making it look like I hadn't been crying. Once I had I went to get supplies and then went home to set up. I texted Serena letting her know I had made it home safely, she replied back a couple of minutes later saying she would see me soon.
By the time I had finished setting up I had just enough time to slip into a dress that I had bought a while back but didn't have a reason to wear it.
Serena's POV
The rest of work was long and boring but I felt very relieved when Toni texted me saying she was home, at least I knew she was safe.
By the time work was finished it was starting to get dark, which made me a bit nervous to drive home.
I was so wrapped up in the music I had on in the car I didn't realise I was home till I got a text. It was from Tonis mum asking how things were going.
I had a meltdown at work but Toni came and made sure I was okay but other than that things are good. Toni is doing well.
I finished replying and went to go inside but it was locked for some weird reason, I guess Toni felt more comfortable that way.
Unlocking the door I walk inside and call out for Toni, "Baby I'm home," I didn't get a reply back but I heard music playing so I knew she had to be home.
I wander upstairs to our room and notice she's not there but I catch sight of a box on the bed and go open it.
There was a note on top, put this on and come find me baby
I smiled at the note and pull out this gorgeous red dress that was tight fitted at the top but then flowed down the bottom. Becoming curious I quickly hop in the shower so I can rid myself of the work smell and put on the dress and head downstairs.
I could smell something cooking so I head for the kitchen, Toni must of heard me before I even reached the kitchen because I heard hurried footsteps then she appeared wear a black dress I had never seen her in before, but damn she was as gorgeous as ever.
"You're not allowed in the kitchen it's a surprise," she said as her eyes checked me out, I pouted "aww you're no fun I was meant to come find you,"
"I know I'm sorry baby I needed to start dinner otherwise it was going to get really late," she replied, I nodded knowing she was right. She started walking away but I grabbed her wrist pulling her back, "where do you think you're going baby?" I smirked, I stepped forward closing the gap between us and kissed her. I had kissed her so many times but nothing ever changed she still made my heart beat fast, and still gave me butterflies.
"Baby I have to finish dinner," she said a bit out of breath, I just smiled "okay my baby," then walked into the living room. I gasped realising what she had done. The furniture had moved to the side and there was fairy lights around the bookshelves and on the roof, and rose petals on the floor and my favourite band was playing. It made sense why I had to dress up which I ended up forgetting to ask her about.
I walk around the room and see our coffee table filled with snacks, our favourite movies and some champagne, all I could do was just smile she knew me so well.
"Baby dinners ready," Toni said but she had somehow ended up right behind me so I jumped, and she just laughed.
"Not funny," I replied pretending to look hurt but it didn't last long before I started laughing too.
Dinner was perfect. It felt nice not having to worry about anything and it just being us. I was smiling the whole time which made Toni smile.
Once dinner was done Toni took the dishes to the kitchen then lead me to the living room and put on my favourite song.
She held out her hand and I took it then she pulled me in close and I followed her lead as we danced around the room. My head was resting against her shoulder. I'm so lucky to have her in my life and I honestly don't know what I'd do without her.
Tonis POV
Serena was so happy the entire night which made me happy. As we were dancing I just felt complete, with everything that happened in my past and hers and also with the car accident my heart had never felt as loved and in love as it did in that very moment.
"Baby," I whispered into her ear, she shuddered "yes," I kissed her forehead before replying, "You make me so happy. I can't believe you're mine. I also want to thank you for being there for me during the car accident and while I was recovering," she looked up at me and kissed me softly on the lips, the butterflies went off in my stomach making me smile.
"You were there for me when I had cancer and we were only together a few months. You have no idea how thankful I am for that. You are my whole world and I can't imagine life without you,"
I kissed her softly at first then it got rougher, she pushed me onto the couch and sat on my lap, making my breath hitch. She licked my bottom lip turning me on and making me moan. I picked her up cupping her ass with my hands continuing to kiss her, I walked us upstairs and to bed.
I laid her on the bed then hopped on top, and before I knew it she had flipped me over and was on top. Serena kissed my jawline and down my neck before sitting me up and removing my dress and bra and laying me back down on the bed.
She kissed my neck again then worked her way down my stomach making me shiver. With one quick movement she removed my undies before kissing my thighs. Damn this girl. She started getting closer to my core, driving me crazy "please baby," I whispered, I heard her giggle before letting loose on me.
It wasn't long before I started shaking and moaning. "Fuck baby," At this point I was getting close to my climax, she inserted her fingers before going for it.
"SERENA," I screamed reaching my climax. Serena came and laid next to me and kissed my cheek while I caught my breath.
I pulled her in for a kiss, "baby girl I love you so much," I whispered watching her smile,
"I love you so much more," she replied,
"now it's your turn," I said flipping her onto her back.
