~Prologue~
~Outfit At The Top~
Hey! I'm Layla, Layla Willems. I just moved here from Huntington Beach California. I got a scholarship here for science mathematics.
So here I am with my bags and boxes ready for the first day here at Eden Hall Academy. When I walked in there it was full of people trying to find their room, friends telling each other about their vacation and people saying goodbye to their parents. I didn't have that, all of my friends were still in California and my parents just put me here and told me not to embarrass them because they went to this school too.
I started looking for the front desk between all of these people. There it is! I walked up there to get my papers and my key.
"Hi" I said to the lady and looked at her name tag, Rebecca it said
"Hello dear", said Rebecca, "Are you here for your key?"
"Yes mam, my name is Layla Willems"
She tapped my name on the computer and looked for my dorm "Ahh yes your room number is 357 and here's your key, you will also have a roommate she's very nice her name is Julie Gafney." Julie gafney sounds familiar.
"Ok thanks mam"
When I walked to the elevator some boys were in my way.
"Excuse me, can I pass you're standing in my way"
"Oh look what we have here, you're a pretty thing aren't you"
"Excuse me who do you think you are talking to?"
"Hey watch your mouth!"
"Or what"
"I'll kill you" and he pushed me aganst the wall.
"Hey back of " I heard someone say.
"Or what chocolate" wait what? I looked up and their was a boy standing infront of me his skin was dark colored and he was wearing a white T-shirt with a green button up paired with a pair of blue jeans.
"Why don't you take someone your own age?" And with that the group walked away. I wanted to pick up my stuff but the boy helped me.
"Are you okay, I'm Russ, Russ Tyler" he said, "I'm Layla, Layla Willems, thanks for helping me that was really brave"
"Nah it was nothing, those boys need to watch their hands"
"Haha yea I should go thanks for saving me again it was nice meating you"
"Again no problem and it was nice meating you to"
With that I stepped into the elevator and went up to the 3rd floor. I stepped out and started looking for my dorm.
"354...355...356... here it is 357"
When I walked in there was already a bed taken and made, I just went to the other side and starded unpacking. It didn't take long for my side to be fully decorated.
When I was taken out the last pieces of my stuff some girl walked in. "OMG HIII, you must be Layla" why is she so happy? "I'm Julie and I must say you're so pretty"
"Ow thanks yes I am Layla and it's nice meeting you and, girl you're the prettiest girl I have ever seen."
"Oh thank you and what did you do to our room?"
"What do you mean you don't like it"
"No I don't" oh God "I love it!! It's so warm and cozy. Way better than my side"
"Thank you it gives me a feeling of home and your side is way cooler than min you like hockey?"
"Ye I do I'm one of the goalies of the ducks." So that's were I knew her from she is one of the ducks
"I knew I recognised your name that is so cool you're bassicly famous"
"Oh I wouldn't say that but I'm just happy my roommate is cool, I was worried it was going to be one of those preppy girls that think they rule the world just because of their daddy's money."
"Right..." I didn't realy know what to say to her because I just met her but she seemed realy nice and I was hoping I could be her friend
"OMG you have to meet Connie she's my best friend and we can become a trio, I know what evreyone says trios don't work out bla bla bla we will make it work"
"Really thanks I would love to meet Connie and to be a trio" her face lit up when I said that. She jumped off her bed and hugged me and said "You also have to meet the rest of the ducks because I know with that music taste" she pointed at my vinyls "Fulton and Russ are going to love you" we started laughing and started talking about our vacation and where we came from.
"Well it was really fun meeting you Layla but this girl has to have a good night sleep, good night"
"Good night Julie" and with that I fell asleep not knowing what would come the next day.
Heyyy author speaking. I know it was a really short chapter but I'm in the exam period so I will not be writing a lot but I will try my best to update the story many times.
