First Day's
~take on me ð¿~
RING...RING...RING went my alarm. I got out of bed and picked out an outfit for the day.
When I got out of the bathroom Julie was already awake and started getting ready. She was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue vest paired with black pants. Her hair was parted in 2 pigtails.
"Good morning" i said
"Good morning I'm loving the outfit"
"Thanks I love your outfit too" I went to my desk and put all of my books in my backpack and filled up my waterbottle in the bathroom. (AN: it's drinkable)
"I'm going to finish getting ready in the bathroom and my friends and I are going together to the assembly you can come to"
"Really? Thanks" I was kinda nervous because I was going to meet the ducks but having Julie here really makes it better.
I was waiting for Julie to finish getting ready when I heard a nock in the door.
"Can you get it" screamed Julie out of the bathroom " Yep " When I opened the door 4 boys were standing there one who i recognised.
"Layla!" he said
"Hey Russ"
"You are roommates with Julie awesome"
"Yes it is really cool, uhh... you guys can come in I guess" when I closed the door i had a feeling someone was staring at me I looked around and my eyes fell on one of the boys he had a smirk on his face and was looking at me up and down. Was there something wrong with my outfit?
"Can I help you" I asked
"No I just didn't know you were this pretty Russ told us about you" the boy sais smirking "I'm Luis Mendoza"
"Ow yes your the kid that couldn't stop it was really funny when you fell" his smirk fell and he looked away
"You're a fan of the ducks" asked one of the boys, he was smaller than the rest and he looked like he was from somewhere eastern.
"Yes I watched it on TV you're the kid from the Olympics right your tricks are really cool"
"Thanks my name is Ken Wu" he said and shook my hand
"And I'm Dwayne Roberts" said the boy with the cowboy hat, he had an western accent and was maybe from somewhere around Texas
"It's nice to meet you too and Russ you and I already met"
"Who was at the door Layla" said Julie as she was coming out of the bathtroom "Ow hey guys I see you already met Layla she's amazing isn't she" she said while putting her hand on my shoulder and looking at the boys.
"Yes she is but we only have ten minutes till the assembly is starting so come on" said Dwayne. Me and Julie took our bags and we left with the four boys to the assembly. When we got there it was crowded but we luckily found enough seats to sit together but maybe not the right ones.
"Hey you know what you ducks and you annoying girl don't belong here at Eden Hall" said a voice that I recognized all too well
"What" said Russ turning around
" Easy Russ they probably think were someone else, I'm Dwayne were the new hockey theme and she is not annoying and you are?" He put out his hand for Rick to shake but another boy took out his chewing gum that was in his mouth and put it in Dwayne's hand. Ewww disgusting.
"Varsity, the only hockey team state champs, you know my brother lost his JV slot when they brought you yoyo's in here" I rolled my eyes at what he said.
"Probably wasn't good enough" said Julie, we all started laughing but Rick was not having it.
"See that's my dad" he pointed "He's going to get the board to revoke your little scolarships, just you wait" He said while leaning back
"That's your father? Nice outfit did it come with a yacht" Russ said and we all started laughing again. The Dean started talking but I wasn't listening I was wondering where the rest of the ducks were. They were nowhere to be seen. Until I heard whispering and talking behind the curtain. The dean looked behind him and all of the sudden the curtain fell and a group of teenagers were laying on the ground with helmets and skates on. THE DUCKS! The whole hall began to laugh even Russ, Ken, Dwayne, Luis and Julie
"Hi... we're the ducks" said the guy in the middle
"Well that was something. Do they pull stuff like that all the time?" she asked Julie "All the time" her friend answered while laughing.
When they got out of the building it was time for her first class. She said goodbye to Julie and made her way to the classroom. When she turned the corner she bumped into someone, making all of her books fall to the ground. When she looked up she was met with these beautiful blue eyes and blond hair.
"I'm s...s...so sorry" the boy said stammering.
"Ow no problem i should have looked where I was going" I said while smiling. I picked up my books and shot him a last smile and walked away but I couldn't get those eyes out of my head.
adam's pov
When I walked out of the building I was still embarrassed because of the ruckes we just caused. I started walking to my next class. Math. Don't get me wrong I get good grades but only cause my dad wants me to. I wasn't paying attention when I bumped into someone making their books fall. I looked up and I was met with the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Like ever.
"I'm s...s...so sorry" I stammered, god Adam how can you be so stupid.
"Ow no problem i should have looked where I was going" wow she wasn't only pretty she had a beautiful voice that I could listen to for hours. She picked up her books and shot me a last smile and walked away.
Adam are you an idiot why didn't you pick up those books. I kept staring at her siluet walking away until I couldn't see her anymore.
It's my first day and I'm already causing trouble with the dean and I just blew my shot with the prettiest girl in the world.
