Meet the ducks

Finally the bell went. Biology was over. This teacher was already getting on my nerves. Can someone tell these teachers just because my parents went to this school doesn't mean that I can't make mistakes and that I am perfect.
Anyway I was walking to the cafeteria when I heard a loud BANG! It was Luis he was slammed into the lockers because of those varsity jerks. I mean he was staring at that cheerleader girl. I rolled my eyes and walked into the cafeteria and went into the line for food. I was taking a glass of water when all of the sudden Julie appeard next to me.
"Hey girlie" she said
"Hey Julie how was class?" I asked
"Ow it sucked but anyway are you ready to meet the ducks? I told them all about you and they really want to meet you" she said excitedly
"Really sure let's go" We walked to a table full of kids. Some who I recognised.
"Hey guys" said Julie "This is Layla, the girl who I told you guys about, Layla meet the duck's"Â she finished. The whole group was basically staring at me.
"I'm Charlie, team captain, it's nice to meet you" he said while sticking out his hand. I shook it while saying
" It's nice to meet you too" before I could say something else Julie interrupted me.
"Ok you know Russ, Luis, Kenny and Dwayne already but that is Guy, Fulton, Averman, Goldberg, Connie and last but not least Adam" I looked to where she was pointing and it was the boy who I bumped into before. The one with the beautiful blue eyes.
"Hi it's nice meeting you all"
"You too" they all said
Julie took my arm and sat me next to her and the other girl whose name is Connie.
"Hi" Connie said "You're really pretty"
"Thank you, you too" I said, how are they all so nice?
We were all talking when I felt someone staring at me. Is it Luis again? I looked around the table when I locked my eyes again with those beautiful blue eyes. Adam. I shot him a warm smile but he looked away. Weird.
adam's pov
I was waling back from math when Charlie dragged me with him.
"Did you know apparently Julie has a super hot roommate" he said "Luis tolded me"
"Cool" I didn't really care, I wasn't really into girls at the moment. Well mark that was because I was still thinking about that girl from earlier. How could I be so stupid to not pick up her books.
When we came into the cafeteria some of the ducks were already sat at a table.
"Hey guys" said Averman, I don't know how he does it but he's always happy
"Hey Julie is your hot roommate here already?" said Charlie
"No and I would like for you not to call her that. It is really embaressing" ansewerd Julie while opening her lunch box
I started eating when Julie stood up and walked away. Weird. A moment later she came back with a girl. The Girl, the one that I bumped into a while ago. My mouth dropped and I just starred at her. Adam you really need to stop doing that.
"Hey guys" said Julie "This is Layla, the girl who I told you guys about" she finished. The whole group looked up and stared at her. I mean who wouldn't she's drop dead gorgeous.
"I'm Charlie, team captain, it's nice to meet you" Charlie said while sticking out his hand. He was smirking at her. He probably had a crush on her too. If I don't want her to end up with him i'm gonna have to shoot my shot sooner or later. She shook his hand while saying " It's nice to meet you too" And there was that beautiful voice again. Before she could say something Julie interrupted her.
"Ok, that is Guy, Fulton, Averman, ...," she introduced all of our names "and last but not least Adam" she looked to where Julie was pointing and we locked eyes just like before.
"Hi it's nice meeting you all" she said
"You too" we all said. I kinda mumbled cause I was still star gazing. Adam STOP! you're probably scaring her.
Julie took her arm and sat next to her and Connie. I watched her the whole time. I think she even felt me staring because she looked at me our eyes locked and she shot me one of those pretty, warm smiles. I was too embarrassed so I looked down. Stupid.
Layla's pov
When the bell rang I went to my last classes. Turns out I had chemistry with Connie and Fulton. They are super nice and just like Julie said Fulton loves my music taste. When it was time for my last class English I walked in and there was only one place left next to ADAM. I walked to him while smiling.
"Hey, can I sit here" I asked him
"Uh...yes ofcourse" he stuttered while smiling
"Thanks" It didn't take long before class started and the first assignment we already got was to read a book. I love books, they give me the opportunity to get right in my fantasy.
While I was listening to the teacher giving information I felt someone staring at me AGAIN. I looked around and it was Adam AGAIN.
"Is there something whrong" I asked
"Uh no I just wanted to say that I think you're really pretty" he said quitely
"Thank you, you're not too bad yourself" I said while laughing
"Mister Banks and Miss Willems is whatever your talking about relevant for the rest of the class" the teacher asked which made the whole class staring at us.
"Uh no sir sorry" I said quicly
"Alright than I would like for both of you to pay attention" he finished
"Yes sir" we both ansewerd
When class finished I said goodbye to Adam and walked to my locker. I took out my books that I put in there and was ready to go back to the dorms. I closed my door and Julie was standing behind it.
"Jesus Julie, don't scare me like that" I said shocked
"Haha sorry, I just wanted to say I have triouts now so I wille be coming later to the dorms" she said
"Ow thats no problem" I answered
"You can come if you want, me and Connie would like that but especially Adam" she said
"What do you mean about that" I asked
"Seriously you don't see how he stares at you, it was so obvious at lunch" she answered
"Well I did catch him a few times and he called me pretty but it's probably nothing" I said
"NOTHING?" she screamed "He called you pretty and you think that's nothing, he defentily has the hots for you" she said
"You're crazy" I said while leaning against the lockers
"Ye wathever I'm heading to the ring see you after training" she said while walking backwards
"Bye Julie goodluck" I said while walking away
When I was walking to the dorms I was stopped bye someone
"Hey sorry for botheringbut do you know where the deans office is I have a meeting" the guy said
"Uh yes it's in the school building, not in the dorms" i said
"Ow right makes sense, thanks tho, I'm Lucas" he said while sticking out his hand
I shook it "I'm Layla it's nice to meet you"
"It's nice to meet you to, i should go bye Layla" he said while walking away
"Bye Lucas" I called back
When I walked in I started doing my homework and studied for tests that we already got assigned on our first day which doesn't make any sense.
After working a bit I was getting more exhausted by the second and fell asleep on my books.
