LAUREN

Logan’s hand went around Lauren’s throat as he spun them, pressing her into the bed. He lifted her waist, pulling her onto his dick with feral strokes that went so deep she could barely breathe.

That could be the grip he had on her throat, though.

And she loved it.

He released his grasp and slipped his thumb in her mouth, hooking it on her bottom teeth. She sucked it, and he leaned down, kissing her hard before flipping her over.

Gasping at the quick change, she had no time to catch her breath before he yanked her back by her hips. He spread her cheeks and filled her again. But deeper somehow.

She didn’t even know there was deeper.

Lauren cried out, her fingers scrunching the sheets, but his hands slid down to her wrists and yanked her arms back, pulling them both behind her. He held them tight in his grasp as he fucked her. Her body shook, his cock filling her in a way she never thought possible.

The passion—his need for her and hers for him—was so intense it stole her ability to think or breathe properly. And the way he had her immobilized, with her face against the bed as he pounded on her pussy, had her back arching into his relentless pleasure.

“Holy fuck!” she cried out as her body snapped, her orgasm breaking through in the most exquisitely pleasurable way. She buried her face in the blanket as he fucked the moans and curses out of her. She couldn’t breathe, but she didn’t care.

When her climax rolled away and she turned her head to get her breathing under control, he let himself go. He shuddered against her, bucking into her with groans of his own, before his hot seed throbbed from his dick.

He slowed against her slick folds as he caught his breath, then he released her arms. They flopped down on the bed, her body limp, and he collapsed on the bed beside her. Closing his eyes, he let out a breath.

Lauren turned her face to him, watching him through heavy eyelids. She hadn’t been fucked so well and so thoroughly in her whole life. Logan was some kind of sex demon who knew every sneaky sex spot inside her.

“Are you Satan?” she asked in a playful tone.

He chuckled. “Don’t think so. Why?”

“You shouldn’t be that good,” she huffed, her eyes closing. “Nobody is that good.”

The bed shifted, and she was startled when his lips pressed against hers. He tasted like salt and musk and cologne. It was her new favorite taste.

Breaking the kiss, he said, “We’re that good.” Then his lips found hers again, and she sighed while he brushed her hair off her damp forehead.

Lauren relaxed into the bed, her body aching, but she was sated in a way she didn’t know could be achieved. “Hmm.” She hummed in contentment, her mind emptying.

He kissed her cheek, then her shoulder, then her collarbone, and her mind raced back from its lull.

While his lips explored her body, his fingers drew lines down her back and over her hip. It was enough to wake her body again. His teasing went over the curve of her ass, over her thighs, and between them before dragging back up her stomach to her chest.

She opened her eyes, looking up at his smirking face with a raised brow. “I’m gonna need a birth certificate if you are already ready to go again.”

Logan chuckled. “What for?” He rolled her onto her back, kissing down her neck.

She ran her hands through his damp hair, turning her head to the side so he had more access to her tender flesh. “To prove you’re human.” She sucked in a breath as he found her collarbone again. How did he know that spot?

He laughed and brushed her hair away from her face, looking down at her. “Later, then. For now, I have other plans.” He teased her nipple between his fingers, and she arched into his touch.

His dick hardened against her thigh, and she licked her lips.

She shuddered. “What kind of plans?”

Moaning, he pressed his lips against her skin. Kissing the words into her skin, he said, “Slow. Sensual. Passionate kind of plans.”

Those were plans she could get behind.

She wrapped her arms around his neck. “Show me what you’ve got, ~Sir~,” she said with a grin.

And he did.

All. Fucking. Night.

Lauren had always been a morning person. She didn’t know what made her brain come alive in the early hours of the day when most of the world still slept, but it did. And today was no different.

What was different, however, was everything else about this morning. She wasn’t in her bed. She wasn’t clothed. And she was sore, so deliciously sore.

Despite every movement causing her to grimace, she smiled as she rolled over, Logan’s silk sheets gliding over her body. She stretched then took a deep breath, the familiar scent of musk, sweat, sex, and cologne invading her senses.

Lauren let her eyes soak up the image of Logan Hawke sleeping naked next to her, holding in her drool at how delicious he looked. She pinched herself to check she wasn’t still dreaming.

Nope, not a dream. Lauren Landon had slept with New York City’s most eligible bachelor. The Big Apple’s hottest, richest, sexiest man.

Last night had been all dark and mysterious and fun, but it was a one-night-only deal. It was time for her to go if she wanted nothing to come of this.

Taking one last glance at him, the words ~adorable~ and ~sexy~ coming to her mind, she slipped out of bed. Saying a silent thank you that his mattress was some kind of memory foam, she crept toward the door.

Lauren flipped her hair out of the way and filtered through the clothes on the floor for hers. She put on her underwear and jeans but had no idea where her bra was. Cursing under her breath, she checked the entire room, then the whole penthouse.

If she hadn’t been frantically searching for her bra, she would have been able to appreciate more details of the penthouse, but all she noticed were the modern monochrome furnishings and the lack of her garment.

Deciding it was more important to leave before he woke, she pulled on her jumper and took one last peek inside his room, saying her mental goodbyes to the sex machine that was Logan Hawke.

With a racing heart and silent footsteps, Lauren dashed out of the apartment.

The elevator ride down was stifling, and her pulse drummed in her ears the whole way. The anxiety coursing through her made it seem like she was committing a crime by leaving, but that’s what they’d agreed on.

Just sex. One night only. No one would know. No repercussions for Shana.

~If Shana finds out, though, she’ll kill me~, she thought, checking the time as she exited the elevator—6:00 a.m. Knowing that Shana was a late sleeper, Lauren relaxed. There was plenty of time for her to get home before she woke.

The early-morning crispness was a welcome treat as she walked to the curb, took a gulp of fresh air, and hailed a cab. Before she got in, a prickling sensation crawled up her spine, then a shiver ran down it.

She glanced back at the glass building, her eyes locking onto the penthouse windows. She couldn’t see through them from this distance, but if she could, she knew she’d see him standing there, his eyes following her every step.

With a shudder, she got in the cab.
