Isla couldn’t contain her excitement as she walked up to Heidi who had just arrived at the office.

“Ms. Olsen, that was fast. What you sent to me on the phone… Is it true?”

“Kate Anderson.” Heidi opened up her computer, showing Isla the model’s bio. “She has all the qualities we need. To top it all, she is an international supermodel.”

“What!?” Isla’s jaws dropped, quickly shaking her head in disbelief. “Ms. Olsen, this…”

How could they be able to snag an international supermodel when they couldn’t even get newbies?

Wasn’t it like dreaming of the stars when you can’t even afford stones?

Heidi could sense what she was thinking. “Isla, we must try. You know the advantages of getting such a model to work with us.”

“It will be like a dream come true for StriveStyle Co. But Ms. Olsen…”

“Let’s give it a shot. It’s better than not trying. Isla, remember that when approaching a client, make the offer look so tempting to them that they can’t resist. Never portray us as the underdog.”

Isla had learned her lessons from yesterday, so she nodded promptly.

“Ms. Olsen, you’re right. I’ll do my best to convince her to work with us.”

International supermodels only worked exclusively with big fashion brands and popular fashion designers.

After Isla left, Heidi couldn’t help but take another look at the model.

“Ms. Olsen, I’m back.” Isla looked exhausted as she returned. “I did all I could, I can’t even reach her manager. It’s as if this Kate Anderson lives on another planet.”

“Her contact info?”

“The contact info placed on her social media accounts is all of her agency. The staff I communicated with aren’t willing to connect us.”

“In their defense, Kate Anderson is a popular figure and an important asset to their agency. Besides that, she is very busy. To book an appointment with her, we need permission from her manager. And the appointment might take up to a month before it gets approved.”

Heidi tapped her fingers on the desk. ” That long?” She frowned.

Isla sighed and nodded. “Ms. Olsen, can’t we work with another one? Even a newbie will do, right?”

At this critical moment, an international supermodel wouldn’t even glance at StriveStyle Co.

To Isla, that idea was crazy.

Heidi dismissed her, picking up her phone which was ringing.

Feeling another headache coming, she didn’t hesitate to answer it. “There’s news everywhere that StriveStyle Co. is in need of models. Ha! I even heard that you went model-hunting yesterday, Heidi.”

“Did you just call to waste my time?”

“Both you and I know that it’s impossible to hire anyone to work for StriveStyle Co. at this moment. Even a newbie will think twice before accepting this offer. How about I offer you a little bit of help, Heidi?”

“I have a handful of girls who are celebrities. Just an order from me will make them want to work with StriveStyle Co. All you should do in return is give me back my position as the brand’s supervisor.”

“That’s a lame approach, Aiden.”

“You- you should be grateful. I’m helping you out in your silly game, do you think you can ever defeat Dad? He knows why he challenged you to manage StriveStyle Co. If you don’t want to meet your doom, better accept my offer or face defeat.”
