The whole ride she had her hand on my thigh. The butterfly's were flying wild. I kept stealing glances at her she looks so good.
We arrive at the restaurant and I go to open my door.
"Wait stay here real quick" Malia says as she gets out and walks to my side of the car.
She opens my door for me. "Why thank you" I say as I grab her hand and she helps me out the car.
She's such a gentle woman. We walk up to the restaurant. She opens the door and I walk in and she walks in after me.
"Welcome to chart house, what's the name for the reservation" the lady at the front says obviously checking me out.
"Malia Baker" she says while putting her arm around my waist.
"Ok follow me" the server says walking us to our table.
We get sat near the back next to a window.
"This is nice" I say drinking some water.
"Yea I know I used to come here sometimes as a kid" Malia says eating some bread.
"Why it's mad expensive" I said as we looked at the menus
"You'll see" malia winked as the server came over.
"Hi my names Chanel and I'll be your server tonight, what can I get for y'all to drink"
"I'll take a Shirley temple" Malia said as the server took it down.
"I'll take a Diet Coke please" the server took the order then left to get our drinks.
" So how r u feeling since your cast is off I would expect you to be ready faster but that's not the case"
She narrow her eyes at me"Im feeling better now that i can play basketball next season and i try my best but beauty takes time"
"Mhmm yes it does" I say under my breath checking her out.
"What was that"
"Huh, oh nothing I didn't say anything"
Just then the waiter comes over with our drinks. Then we order our food.
"Let's get to know each other more" Malia suggests
"Ok what do you wanna know"
"When is more songs coming out"
" I don't really know as of now but I have some in the making"
"What inspires you to make your songs" Malia asks taking a sip of her drink.
"Honestly people especially this someone"
" Okk I'm excited to listen to more, that song was actually pretty good" she says staring me in my eyes.
All of a sudden I felt nervous. "T-thank you" I say giving her a warm smile.
We ask eachother a few more questions before our food comes out.
"This is soo good omg" I say as my eyes roll back.
"Yea this is hitting the spot rn"
Her food is looking better than mine lowkey.
"Let me try some of yours" I say eyeing her food.
"Sure" she picks up a bite and feeds it to me.
"Mmmmm why is yours better than mine" i kinda want hers rn.
"You mind if we switch"
She sighs " ok I guess" we switch plates and I dig in right away.
We finish eating and boy am I stuffed.
The server comes back. "Yall looked like yall enjoyed the meal" she chuckled
"Yea it was great" I reply.
"Can we get the check" I say to the waiter.
"No need tell the owner I need to see her" Malia says.
The waiter goes and comes back a lil while later with a woman I'm guessing is the owner.
"Malia heyy sweetie, how you doin" the woman says as Malia gets up and they hug.
"I'm doing great aunty how are you doing" the way my jaw dropped is crazy.
I never knew Malias aunt owns a restaurant. They begin to catch up and I feel a lil out of place.
"So who's this beautiful young lady, is she yours" her aunt says nudging her arm.
"Omg aunty so this is Kylie she's a friend from school"
Atleast I got the friend title "nice to meet you Ma'am"
" wow and she got good manners, she's a keeper" she whispers the last part to Malia but I can still hear her.
"Well we gotta get going nice to see you aunty" Malia says hugging her.
"Nice to see you too y'all take care" she says waving as she walks away.
"Don't mind my aunt she's been trying to get me to date for a while" Malia says as we exit the restaurant.
"I can tell" we get to her car and she opens the door for me.
We both get in. " you know you don't have to open my door for me"
" I know I just like doing it" we start to drive away.
We are driving for a lil while in a comfortable silence.
" do you wanna hear a sneak peak of a song I'm working on" I say
"Yess please"
I connect my phone to Bluetooth.
"Ok so it's called head in the clouds and your the first to hear it"
I press play and play the first 20 seconds.
"Sooo how did you like it" I ask a little nervous to hear her answer.
"You are so talented cause that was amazing, I'm actually in shock" she says looking over at me.
"Thank you so much" I say blushing a little.
"Hey you wanna get some ice cream while we're at it" she asks looking over.
"I mean sure I can go for some right now"
Malia drives for a little while and we arrive at the ice cream shop.
