MALIAS POV
I woke up with Kylie snuggled in my neck. I really needed to use the bathroom so I slowly unraveled my body from hers and went to the bathroom.
I come back and Kylie is still asleep. "Damn this girl can sleep" I say to myself.
I get her a glass of water and some ibuprofen and put it in the bedside table. I go to the kitchen and make some breakfast.
"Come back to bed" Kylie says emerging from the room.
"Good morning I made you some breakfast" completely ignoring what she said.
"I'm not hungry and thanks for the ibuprofen" Kylie says stretching.
"Well your still gonna eat so come sit down" I say sternly.
"But-"
"No buts come and eat" I cut her off.
She sighs and suits down. I share her food and she starts eating. After we're done we sit on the couch and watch a movie.
"So I'm thinking of talking to peder today" I say rubbing her back as we cuddle.
"Oh really, about what?"
"I wanna get more clarity on why he was bullying me"
"But he already told you it was because of your father" Kylie says confused.
"I know I just want to know more, I'm curious"
"Ok we'll be safe and good luck" she says giving me a kiss.
I get up and get in the shower. I shower, brush my teeth and do my face routine. I get dressed and get my keys.
"Alright I'm leaving now" I say putting in my shoes.
Kylie gets up and walks over. "I'll see you later if you ever need me just call me" Kylie says giving me a kiss which made me smile.
I don't know what me and Kylie are but I know I'm gonna ask her to be mine soon. I go to my car and drive to the location.
Peder had asked to meet at a cafe so there I am. I walk in and look around. I spot Peder in the back corner. I walk over to him and sit down.
"Hey" I say briefly.
"Hey" he says dryly.
"How are you"
"I'm ok, what about you"
"I'm alright, so I want to know more in depth why you don't like me" I say getting serious.
"Ok so it started when I found out my mom was cheating on my dad with yours" Peder says taking a sip of his coffee.
The waiter comes over and takes my order. "So how did you find out" I say getting kind of nervous.
"I went out with some friends one night and I came home, but I noticed a car in the drive way I didn't recognize" Peder says pausing when. The waiter came with my order.
I take a sip of my iced coffee. "Continue"
"So I walked in the house and heard some... you know noises, I was furious because I knew my dad was out of town and my mom is home" Peder says pausing and taking a deep breath.
"I was trying to figure out who it was so I checked the coat that was thrown on the ground, I found an Id in the pocket I read the name and.... It said Paul baker"
My heart dropped as he said that. I know he already told me that but I didn't believe him.
" are you sure it could have said a whole different name" I say trying to convince myself it wasn't him.
"I know what I read Malia" I take a big sip from mmmh drinks and signal for him to continue.
"So after that I spent weeks planning my revenge, I started off by bullying you I didn't actually want to hurt you but i thought if I did it would get to your dads head and he would want a break to get his mind together"
This still didn't make sense to me. Why mess with me he could have messed with his job or something.
"But that didn't work so one morning I was on my way to your house to scare your dad away, but on my way there was a big car crash that I later found out it was your mom"
Now he's got my attention. He witnessed my mom's death he could lead me to find her killer.
"What was the color of the car that crashed into her" I blurted out.
"Uhh it was black.. why is this important" he asks
"Well this could be a lead to find out who killed my mom"
"Ok well yea and I'm sorry for bullying you and for taking my anger out on you I really hope we can move on but if we can't i totally understand"
I can tell he's being sincere. I took a little while to think about it as I finished my drink.
"I had no problem with you to begin with, but we can't be friends because you brung me to my breaking point"
"Yea that's understandable"
"Thanks for coming out to talk to me that meant alot" I say standing up to leave.
"Yea your welcome" he said standing up
I walk out of the cafe waving to him. I drive back to the dorm and get inside.
"Babyyy your back" Kylie says running and hugging me.
I give her a kiss. "You missed me didn't you" God knows I wanna make her mine, I just have to find the right moment.
"Yea I missed you a lot let's cuddle now" Kylie says dragging me to the bed.
I take off my shirt and pants and hope it. Kylie snuggles into me.
"So how did the talk go with peder"
"It went pretty good I got more clarity on the whole situation" I say rubbing small circles on her back.
"That's good, what happe......" I hear soft snores.
"Ain't no way" I whisper to myself.
I look down to see Kylie knocked out. I sigh and stare at the ceiling still thinking about all that has happened. I stayed like that for a few until sleep over took me.
