Sebastian eyes reddened at the thought.

âWhat the hell are you doing? Who asked you to come down here?â It was Karl. When he saw the

hurried back.

security cameras. What did he say to you?â
âI have no time to explain!â Sebastian bellowed as he reached out to shove Karl aside.
Realizing the urgency of the situation, Karl let him pass and followed behind instead.
âItâs fine if you donât want to tell me. In that case, Iâll follow you and watch your back.â
Given how loyal Karl was as a bodyguard, he decided that was the best way he could protect his
employer.
However, Sebastian paid no heed to him as he seemed to be desperately searching for something.
As time continued to tick by, the frustration within him began to grow when he didnât manage to find any
clues.
With a pale look on his face, he began to break out in cold sweat.

Karl caught up with Sebastian after killing another bandit.
âMr. Hayes, what are you looking for? You canât go any further. Or else, we will end up in the center of
their range of fire.â
Oblivious to what Karl had said, Sebastian picked up his pace instead.
Just when they were about to turn a corner, a barrage of bullets whizzed in their directions. As if by
reflex, Karl gave Sebastian a forceful push to the side.

Sebastian grunted the same time he forcefully bumped into the staircaseâs railing.
Did he hurt himself in the crash?
After making quick work of his foes, Karl gave Sebastian a puzzled look.

Sebastian began to feel excruciating pain in his head.
It was the same sensation he felt when traversing the undulating mountain roads of Bellridge. He felt as
if something was about to be torn out of him.
The pain was so overwhelming that his vision started to fade.
The radiation from nuclear waves was extremely intense. Even though it was just a small packet of
explosives, Eddieâs newly invented weapon could unleash a massive nuclear wave upon detonation.
Karl had no doubts about that.
Upon hearing Sebastianâs words, he raised the gun in his hand and kicked down the room doors one
by one.
