Chapter 32: Chapter Twenty Nine

Deal With the Devil | ✔️Words: 10657

Alright you might want to kill me after reading this note, but I'm postponing the private chapters only because I just don't feel like it truly adds anything to the story. Yeah I know people like the more intimate scenes, but I feel like it's unnecessary. I most likely will post them later after I finish the story, but for right now I'm focusing on the story aspect. I will post something in this book about the private chapters once I finally do put it up. Sorry again for the false hope, I know a lot of you wanted it. ❤️

Loud banging comes from downstairs and I already know it's Alexander. I rush down the stairs to see him and Dimitri nearly toe to toe— looking like he could kill him right there and then.

"Alex," I said, catching his attention.

He rushed over to me and pulled my into his arms. "Are you alright?" He asked, his voice was low and I knew he had been worrying about me.

I nodded and put my arms around his torso. "Yes, I'm fine."

"You two are pathetic. Get out of my house."

Dimitri said in annoyance.

Alexander turned around, but kept me behind him almost as if he was protecting me. "We're leaving you sick fuck." He growled out.

"Go back to your penthouse and enjoy it while it lasts." Dimitri taunted.

Alexander went to go towards him, but my hand reached out to go around his arm.  "He's not worth it, Alex. Come on." I pulled him down the rest of the stairs and out the door.

We silently walked to the car and go into the backseat. George was driving luckily. I wouldn't want Alexander behind the wheel of anything at the moment. As soon as we got in we drove off speedily.

His arm was around my shoulders as he brought my closer to him, leaving a kiss on the top of my head. "Are you alright? I told you this was a bad idea. If you would just listen to me for once—"

"Alex,"

"Did he hurt you? I'll kill—"

"Alex!"

"What?" He said in frustration, his other hand raking through his hair. "Why are you smiling? This isn't funny, Anastasia."

I rolled my eyes and lifted my shirt to which his hands immediately stopped. "Baby, I'm always in the mood for you, but George is here and I'm not giving him a show."

My mouth fell as I pushed at his shoulder. "Mind out of the gutter, Alexander Knight." I scolded. "I think you might want to know what I have under here."

His eyebrow raised. "I think I already know."

I chuckled. "I don't think you do." I raised it once again and his eyes went wide when he saw the recorder taped to my side.

"You... recorded him?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yup. His confession and all."

A wide smile took over his handsome face and he let out a large breath that was mixed with a laugh. "Anastasia... I..." he was speechless.

"I also backed up the photos I took from my phone which he thought he deleted. They're in an email that I sent to you."

He quickly opened his phone and there the email was. When he opened it all of the pictures of the documents were right there.

"I told you—" he cut me off with his lips smashing down on mine.

He hands went to hold my face as he passionately and urgently kissed me. I pulled away when I felt him try to deepens the kiss. "I thought you didn't want to give George a show." I smiled as I said breathlessly.

He chuckled. "I can bend my own rules." He presses his lips back on mine for a moment before pulling away.

His arm went back over my shoulders and he pulled me into him once again. "I love you, baby."

"I love you." I hummed, content in his arms.

I sat at my desk, tapping my pencil anxiously. Dimitri would be stepping out of the elevator any moment now with full intentions of taking Alexander's company.

Little does he know...

In Alexander's office, two police chiefs and three FBI agents were waiting for him. It had been a couple days since we got the evidence we needed. The following day Alex and I went to the authorities and gave them all of them information they needed.

Phillip and Amelia's citizenship case was now in the process of officially being completed. Alexander made sure of that. He presented all the necessary papers and the evidence that it was stolen. I questioned how he got them to process it so fast, but he just cockily bragged about how people don't say no to him. To which I rolled my eyes...

All of Dimitri's accounts have been frozen, but he doesn't know that yet since they just did it a few minutes ago. There's nowhere for him to go now.

I heard a ding and my eyes immediately snapped up to the doors. They opened and revealed Dimitri... and my mother.

What in the world is she doing here?

They walked over to me, Dimitri scowling all the way.

"Where is he?" Dimitri demanded.

"Office," I got up and walked over to the doors, softly knocking before peaking my head in. "Dimitri's here." I said with a small smile.

Alexander nodded, smirking. "Send him in."

I turned back toward Dimitri and opened the door fully. "He's ready to see you."

Dimitri rolled his eyes and sauntered in, Diana hot on his heels. I didn't stop her when she went in with him. Maybe he finally told her everything or maybe she'd finally realize how horrible of a man he truly is.

I followed behind and shut the doors behind us to make sure he wasn't able to turn back around to leave. At first he didn't seem to noice the officers standing to the side, but when he did...

"What the hells going on?" Dimitri asked, his voice a mixture of things. Frustration... anger... panic.

Alexander smirked, I knew he was enjoying this. Like a kid in a candy shop. "Why don't you have a seat, Mr. Sterling?" He tauntingly asked.

Dimitri didn't move. I could see him looking between him and the officers over to the side.

"Dimitri, what's going on?" My mother asked, she was trying to keep her voice quiet, but I was close enough to here.

"Dimitri Sterling you are under arrest for extortion, embezzlement, fraud, and theft." The FBI agent said as he came closer with the female cop by his side.

Dimitri stepped back. "What are you talking about? You have no proof—"

"We do." Alexander spoke up, catching his attention. "Care to take a look at these?" He handed out papers that were the printed copies of the pictures I took.

Dimitri visibly gulped as he snatched the papers form his hand. "This is theft!" He declared. "That bitch went in my office and stole these." He growled out.

"What are they? Embezzlement? Theft? Dimitri what is going on?" My mother questioned, looking around at all of us for some type of answer.

"He was using you." I said from over here by the door.

She turned to look at me with furrowed eyebrows. "You don't know what you're saying."

"Your husband has been using your name for accounts to hold money that he gained illegally." One of the officers explained.

Her face nearly drained of all the color as she looked back to her husband. "Dimitri?"

"Don't listen to them." He said to her. Lying straight to her face. "They don't have proof of anything."

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. The proof was literally right in front of them.

"We do have proof and the actual copies with your signature on each paper. A warrant was made to search your house right after you left." The agent explained. With that the other cop detained Dimitri in hand cuffs.

"You'll fucking pay for this, Knight!" He threatened as he was escorted out by the officers.

My mother pathetically followed out with them in tears. I wish we had a better relationship. I'd do my best to comfort her and make sure she's alright. If things were different maybe she wouldn't have stayed with someone so awful.

"We did it." A victorious grin took over Alexander's face. He walked around his desk and over to me, pulling me into his arms.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "It's all over. Did you tell your dad?"

He nodded, still smiling down. "I did."

"And?"

"And... we have to go over there tonight for a celebration dinner." He chuckled.

I stood on my tip toes to kiss him quickly. Well I thought it'd be quick. One hand remained on my waist while the other reached to cup my face gently. He trailed kisses down from my lips all the way down to my collar bone, nipping at the spot he loved to tease me with. "I want you." He said huskily.

I pulled back slightly with and arched brow. "We're at work, Alex."

He smirked and shrugged. "I don't think the boss will mind."

I laughed. "You have to stop using that as an excuse."

"Is it working?"

I bit my lip. "A little bit." I admitted.

"Then I won't stop using that as an excuse." His lips landed on mine once again. Without breaking the kiss, he bent down slightly to grab the back of my knees, swiftly lifting me up.

I wrapped my legs around him as he carried me, putting me down on the desk. "Alex..." I said half with a warning half moaning.

He kissed the base of my neck once more before he hovered over my face. "You're so beautiful, baby." He kissed the corner of my mouth teasingly. "I'll never get enough of you." His words alone were enough to send me in a frenzy.

"I love you." I breathed out as he went back to his relentless kisses on my neck.

I could feel his smile against my skin. "I'm going to take you on this desk right now." He nearly growled out.

My eyes went wide. "Alex, I don't think—"

His kiss silenced my concerns. "Don't be too loud and no one will know." Oh Alexander. He doesn't know what he does to me clearly. Or maybe he does and that's exactly why he's doing it.

~>~

"I can't believe we did that." I half laughed as I adjusted my blouse.

He smirked. "I can." His hands went to my hips as he brought me to him.

I rolled my eyes. "Down, boy. Your stamina is out of control."

He chuckled, kissing my cheek. "I can't help that my wife is hot and turns me on in the most inconvenient times."

I laughed. "Sure it's my fault. I'll make sure to wear a potato sack from now on so I don't distract you."

He nodded. "That'd be much appreciated it. Maybe a black one for the office?"

I shoved at his shoulder and he laughed. "Watch it."

He smiled down at me, his hand coming up to put a strand of hair behind my ear. "My beautiful Anastasia. How did I get so lucky?" He said, almost like it was to himself.

My heart stammered in my chest. "I love you." Was the only words I could manage to reply with. "You're my world Alex. I... can't imagine my life without you." I confessed a few moments later.

He leaned down to kiss me softly. "You were without a doubt the best business deal I've ever made." He half joked.

I laughed and shook my head. "I definitely agree."

He chuckled. "I love you, baby."

And I love you, Alexander Knight.
