Tong Yan was looking at his phone, but when she arrived, he had placed it down almost immediately, “What’s wrong?”

“Are you angry?”

“No.”

Xu Xinduo adjusted her posture. She used Tong Yan’s shoulder to support her chin as she spoke, “When we’re not together, I really want to be with you. So why is it that when I see you, I feel annoyed; but when I don’t see you, I miss you?”

Tong Yan couldn’t help laughing before he turned around and hugged Xu Xinduo. He said, “You were used to being alone all along. Even when you were living with Grandma, you two were not together all the time. That’s probably why you couldn’t instantly get used to having someone by your side 24/7. Back then when you first started to accept your brother and your mother as your family, this happened as well, no? No worries, I’m in no hurry, so we can take it slow. You can use this lifetime of mine to get used to this.”

Xu Xinduo held Tong Yan’s face and quickly pecked his lips as she said, “Brother Yan is really sensible.”

“Don’t do that, you calling me ‘Brother Yan’ freaks me out.”

“Then what should I call you?”

“Call me ‘husband’.”

Xu Xinduo looked at Tong Yan with disgust and snorted lightly.

He thought that Xu Xinduo would just ignore him and scoff at the remark, so he didn’t expect for her to let out a small whisper, “Husband.”

Tong Yan stared at Xu Xinduo and tugged her towards him instantly. He kissed her lips and held her tightly, not letting her go.

Xu Xinduo then wrapped her hands around Tong Yan’s neck.

Xu Xinduo didn’t know how she managed to end up in her room from the rattan chair.

When Tong Yan kissed her forehead to apologise, she just wanted to scold him.

She never thought that one day, she would be the one crying and begging Tong Yan for mercy. However, Tong Yan merely consoled her but refused to release her from his grasp.

She sniffed slightly and pushed Tong Yan’s face away, making sure that she wasn’t close to him.

Tong Yan was still apologising, “Stop crying, okay? You’re crying so much that I’m getting pretty excited.”

“Scram!”

Tong Yan, in fact, didn’t leave as he just laid beside her. He also helped brush her hair whilst looking at her.

Xu Xinduo said suddenly, “Let’s switch over.”

Tong Yan hesitated and reluctantly agreed, but after changing into Xu Xinduo’s body, he cursed, “Shit…”

Xu Xinduo, who was now in Tong Yan’s body, recovered in an instant as she asked with a smile, “Do you feel it now? I have experienced so many bouts of menstrual pains, and yet, none of them made me feel this bad.”

Tong Yan just laid there with a dull gaze and didn’t say a word. In fact, he didn’t have the strength to say anything.

It almost seemed as if he had been jumping for three days and three nights straight without rest, only to be heavily hit by a hammer right after.

Xu Xinduo asked Tong Yan in a good mood, “You were ready to make your move from the first day we established a relationship, so why did you wait till now?”

Tong Yan replied feebly, “I kind of wanted to, but I was afraid that it would affect your studies. After all, we are in our third year of high school.”

“Then for the first few days where we came to the island?”

“I wanted you to have a good time playing for a few days, so I endured it.”

Xu Xinduo stood up vigorously and prepared to take a bath. After thinking about it, she turned around and asked Tong Yan, “Should I carry you over for a shower?”

Tong Yan waved his hand, “I don’t want to move.”

“Okay,” Xu Xinduo actually left, not caring about Tong Yan in the slightest.

This was Xu Xinduo. If she was a boy, she would have been an absolute scumbag as she would not bother about anything unnecessary.
