Then, Astrid started to tell them about what she had gone through.
She talked about Star Kingdomjoining the Iridescent Sect, and acknowledging Nova as her master.
Then, she talked about leaving Star Kingdom.
She went into details. All of them listened to her seriously.
They were very curious about everything in the level 7 civilization Star Kingdom.
When Astrid told them that David gave all of them two little wooden boxes that could save them during crises, they were all very interested.
âAstrid, did you say that David gave you all two things that could save your lives during cruises?â
Wilfred asked curiously.
âYes! Grandpa Wilfred, David said they were the clones that he researched lately and they have the same strength as David. However, they also have weaknesses, which is that they can only survive two hours,â Astrid answered.
âWell⦠Can you show us?â
âYeah, why not?â
She took out two small delicate wooden boxes to put on the table.
Wilfred and the others stared at the wooden boxes carefully.
After looking carefully, they did not see anything strange about them nor could they sense any strong power from the boxes.
To them, they were just normal wooden boxes.
âThis is it?â Nimbus asked.
âYeah, thatâs them.â Astrid nodded.
âWe can summon Davidâs clones when we open them?â
Even with Astridâs firm answer, they were still very doubtful.
It was just a normal wooden box. Could it summon a Saint Realm clone to help in oneâs battle and solve crises?
âSo do you just open it?â Wilfred asked again.
He felt that it was a little unreliable.
âNo, thereâs a seal on the box. David taught us how to it can the clone be summoned,â Astrid explained.
âNo wonder we canât sense anything.â
The trio finally understood.
However, they were still a little doubtful.
âHave you opened it?â
âNo, we only have two each, so who will want to open it? We canât take it back the moment we undo the seal. Then, it will be wasted.â Astrid shook her head.
âYou never opened it so how do you know itâs real? What ifâ¦â
Before Wilfred could finish his question, Astrid interrupted him.
âThere will be no what ifs. We believe David. Also, why would he lie to us?â
After Astrid said that, she stared straight at Wilfred.
This question stumped Wilfred.
He did not know why David would want to lie to Astrid and the women following him.
If it was useless, why would he be so superfluous?
When she saw Wilfred unable to answer for a long time, Astrid continued, âGrandpa Wilfred, you canât answer, right? David doesnât need to lie to us. Before this, we had no idea heâd give something like this to us.â
âI guess so,â Wilfred agreed.
âSo you shouldnât suspect Davidâs intentions. Heâs doing this for everyoneâs safety.â
âAlright, I was wrong. I shouldnât suspect David.â Wilfred did not hesitate to correct himself.
âItâs fine! I forgive you, Grandpa Wilfred. I believe David wonât split hairs about this too.â Astrid grinned happily.
After Astridâs approval, the three started to examine the structure of the small wooden boxes carefully.
They noticed that they were indeed normal boxes.
Then, they looked at each other and wanted Astrid to open one to see what was inside.
However, each knew that that was impossible.
