Mine â The Alphaâs Possession by Kylie Chapter 70 Jackson did send the guards, but I didnât care.
As soon as the doctor said that all the silver was out of my system I was out of that bed and heading towards the meeting hall.
The guards tried to protest but I wouldnât stop long enough to listen and when we got to the meeting hall, I saw the whole place was in chaos.
All of the newcomers were making a lot of noise about Andrew trying to kill me and that he never mentioned to them about his plans.
They believed that he was for real.
That he wanted help.
Not that he wanted to kill myself and Jackson.
I found Jackson over by the side of the room and he was pinching the bridge of his nose, which is what he did when he was really frustrated.
So I made a beeline straight for him and he must have picked up my scent because his head snapped up when I got close enough.
âWhat are you doing here?â He asked, concerned.
âI wasnât going to stay in that hospital any longer than I had to.Especially not after the way you left.â I say.
âYou know that I can feel your feelings. You were scared of me when you woke up.â He says.
âI canât control what I dream about. And seeing you just freaked me out for a second until I realized what was going on.You canât blame me for that.â I say.
âI know that I canât blame you for that. And I donât.But it really hurts when your mate is scared of you.â He says.
âI know. But that is the first time I have ever seen you like that before.Of course I wasnât going to accept that part of your personality straight away.â I say.
âYeah.I know.I just thought keeping my distance would be best for now.â He says.
âBest for who. You or me?â I asked, staring him dead in the eye.
âIâm sorry.â He says, looking away.
Realizing that it was just easier on him.
âWell, itâs making me feel like shit.Do you know that? Youâre just making it worse when you run away from it.â I yelled.
âI didnât know that.Iâm sorry.â He says.
So I leaned forward and hugged him and it took a second before I felt his arms wrap around me but I loved the feeling of his arms around me.
âPeople are staring.â He whispered in my ear.
âI donât care.â I say not letting go of him.
Not until I was ready to.
When I did finally let go of him we had to start talking to all of the newcomers. But we were interrogating them individually.
And they were leaving it up to me and Jackson to do it.As leaders of this pack.
And their pack.
There were 235 people that we needed to interrogate and it took the whole rest of the day and that whole night to get through everyone. And we found that Andrew was the only one that was the traitor. He wanted to make a name for himself and kill Alpha Jackson so that he would be in charge of Alpha Samuelâs and Alpha Jacksonâs entire pack.
And that was a huge pack that Jackson owned over the entire country. We werenât even all in one area.We were packs all over the country because he would take over a pack and leave them where they are, under his supervision.
When we got back to the packhouse the cook had food waiting for us in the dining room and I sat at the table with Jackson but I pulled a laptop out while we were eating.
âWhat are you doing?â He asked.
âWell, it just occurred to me today that I have absolutely no idea how many people I am the Luna of.â I say.
âYou want to find all of my packs?â He asked.
âYeah. Are they all inputted on the computer like I did for this pack?â I asked, eyeing him off curiously.
âNo.Theyâre not. That was the next task I was going to ask you to do.But they are all written in this notebook.â He says handing me the book.
So I closed the laptop and I started looking through the book.It would name the town that he owned and then a number was next to it.
That was the number of people in that pack.
âHoly shit.You have 25 000 members in your pack.â
I was shocked.
âSomething like that.â
He says nonchalantly.
âOh my god.How do you keep track of them all?â I asked.
âItâs not too hard.I have stationed my own people in those packs and they keep things straight.â He says.
âAlright. So, youâve got packs in California, Oregon, Washington State, Colorado...the list goes on.â I say looking through the book.
âYeah.Their all over the country.â He says.
âHave you ever thought about bringing them together?âI asked.
âNo.Canât say that I have.I donât want them to all know about each other. They might get together and try to kill me.I was pretty cruel to a few of those packs.â He says.
âYeah.I can see that.â I say.
And he kicked me under the table so I started laughing.
âIâm not that horrible.â He says.
âI know.Iâm sorry.â I say.
And he leaned over and kissed me.
As soon as we finished eating we headed upstairs to our room and we had a quick shower and got into bed.I didnât even remember the last time I slept.
So I rolled on my side and Jackson rolled over and put his arm around me.I melted into his chest that was against my back.
Taking in the warmth and feeling him breathing, which was really relaxing and helped put me to sleep.
I was running through the woods, outside the packhouse.
Something was chasing me and for some reason I couldnât shift.
I was in human form, running away.I donât see whatâs chasing me, but itâs big and huge.I finally reach the edge of the woods and the packhouse is right in view.I assume that itâs Jackson in his evil personality, but then I look up and I see Jackson standing outside the packhouse.
He sees me trying to catch my breath when something grabs my leg and pulls it out from under me and I fall to the ground.
I scream for Jackson to help me and his eyes go wide when he sees that Iâm in trouble.
He comes running towards me but I am being dragged back into the woods by this unknown creature.
I turn around to try and see what it is but itâs moving too fast, and I canât make it out. I donât know what it is that is dragging me away.
But Jackson is running after me, I hear him shift and he lets out a howl and I can hear his paws on the ground before he suddenly lurches over me and tackles the thing that has me in its grip.
And I am able to scramble away and turn around to see Jackson fighting with another wolf. But I know that Iâve seen that wolf before.I just donât know where Iâve seen it before.I canât place it.
Joba aaa be Iâm not sure how long we were asleep when we were woken up by Gladys.
But my eyes still felt like sandpaper. So I knew that we hadnât been asleep that long.
âGet out mother.â Jackson snapped at her.
âJackson.I havenât seen Joseph.Ever since you got him back from Samuel. He hasnât come back.I donât know where he is.â
Gladys says.
And I heard Jackson moan when he heard that.
âWhat?â I asked with my eyes still closed.
âHeâs gone.Iâve looked everywhere.I donât know where he could possibly be.â Gladys says.
And my eyes snapped open when I heard that.
âI think I know where he is.Well, what heâs doing.â I say.
âWhatâs that?â Gladys asked.
And I sat up to look at Gladys and Jackson sat up as well.
Looking at me curiously, like he had no idea what I was about to say.
âHeâs gone after his mate again.â I say.
âFucking idiot.â Jackson says flopping back down onto the bed.
