CHAPTER 13

THE GOD'S CHILD

No one's POV

"Shit, teka lang!!" Seyren's breathless cries echoed through the corridors as she desperately tried to catch up with her friends.

Her voice, tinged with both determination and exhaustion, carried a sense of urgency that mirrored her relentless pace.

Despite the physical toll it was taking on her, she pushed forward, driven by a need to stay close to the ones she cared about.

Skyler, Anthony, and Elowen had already made their way to the headquarters, unaware that Seyren was trailing just behind.

As they arrived, Seyren, struggling to keep up, felt a wave of dizziness hit her.

"Shit, my head!" she muttered, clutching at the IV stand that accompanied her.

Her hospital gown fluttered as she moved, revealing the bandages wrapped around her head.

The sight of her, frail yet determined, drew gasps from those who witnessed her passage.

Inside the headquarters, Skyler's authoritative voice rang out, commanding immediate attention.

"Team, gather around! We have an urgent meeting. I've got a new lead on the killer!" She stormed into her office, the air around her crackling with intensity.

Her colleagues watched in astonishment as she aggressively pulled out her whiteboard, tearing off a piece of paper in the process.

As the team assembled, Skyler positioned the whiteboard prominently, adorned with photos of the victims.

She then stuck a small yellow paper in the center, a visual focal point for her briefing.

Standing beside her were Anthony and Elowen, along with Seyren, who had quietly joined the gathering.

"We're going to tackle the psycho killer. Team, I need you to understand that the killer isn't just selecting victims based on their media presence. We were right about that part, but there's a deeper, more disturbing pattern," Skyler began, her voice low and intense.

"The killer is targeting people based on the Ten Commandments. How do I know? Let's start with our first victim, Mr. Alvarez. He was a Catholic priest who converted to Satanism. He gained a following and was frequently on TV. The first commandment is 'You shall have no other gods before me,'" she said, pinning a picture of Mr. Alvarez on the board, covering the gruesome image of his lifeless body.

"Next, we have Mr. Kim Legazpi. The killer sent us a photo of him kneeling before a gold statue. We found real gold in his garage, which he worshipped. Known in the media as the 'golden boy,' he violated the second commandment: 'You shall not make for yourself an idol,'" she explained, pointing to the second victim.

"The third victim was a priest who led rallies against LGBTQ rights, cursing and invoking God's name in vain. The third commandment is 'You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.'" She placed another picture on the board, this time of the fourth victim.

"The fourth is Nun Jennifer, renowned as the most beautiful nun in the Catholic Church. However, it turns out she wasn't fulfilling her duties; her twin sister was impersonating her while she worked as a stripper. She broke the fourth commandment about observing the Sabbath and keeping it holy." Skyler continued,

"The fifth victim was Troy, an independent and helpful vlogger who was notorious for disrespecting his parents. He publicly denounced them as useless. The fifth commandment is 'Honor your father and mother.'" She took a deep breath, feeling the weight of her revelations.

Her colleagues' expressions ranged from stunned to skeptical.

The connections she was drawing were eerie and unsettling.

"The sixth commandment is 'You shall not commit adultery.' The sixth victim, Evelyn Parker, was a well-known mistress in the media, despised for her actions. The seventh commandment is 'You shall not murder.' The seventh victim was Verick Jeon, known as 'Red Bull,' a feared psycho killer from 18 years ago. Do you still think this is a coincidence? It's not," Skyler stated firmly.

"The killer isn't just murdering for entertainment. They are deeply religious, to the point of fanaticism. They believe they are executing divine judgment on those who break God's commandments. One thing is clear: this killer is a devout person, someone who is always in church."

---

"Really? This is your idea of a date?" Azara's voice dripped with irritation and sarcasm as she and Liam entered the dimly lit church.

The scent of incense hung in the air, mixing with the quiet whispers of the few congregants scattered among the pews.

"Yes... Don't you want us to get closer to God?" Liam responded, his tone sincere as they walked towards the altar.

His steps echoed in the hallowed space, every footfall a testament to his earnestness.

Azara looked around, her eyes taking in the sacred space with a mix of skepticism and mild curiosity.

She couldn't believe this was where her boyfriend had chosen to bring her.

Despite her irritation, she knew better than to voice her complaints too loudly, given the sanctity of their surroundings.

"Do you know, from the moment I first saw you, I imagined you walking down the aisle towards me," Liam said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Azara's brow furrowed in confusion.

"You want to marry me?" she asked, her tone laced with disbelief. Liam nodded, his eyes shining with conviction.

"Too bad for you, because I don't want to marry anyone," she replied bluntly, the harshness of her words cutting through the stillness of the church.

The smile on Liam's face faltered, replaced by a flicker of pain.

"I could change that," Liam said confidently, a determined edge to his voice.

Azara scoffed, letting go of his hand.

"Don't get ahead of yourself. We both know I only date out of infatuation. I have no intention of marrying anyone." she stated flatly, her words devoid of any emotion.

She walked over to a nearby pew and sat down, positioning herself in front of an electric fan.

Liam followed her, his eyes now filled with concern and guilt as he looked at her.

"How's your stab wound?"

"It's still a stab wound. What do you think will happen? Will angel wings sprout from it, making me an angel?" Azara replied sarcastically, her voice tinged with bitterness.

"You don't need wings to be called an angel. You're already an angel to me," Liam said, his eyes earnest and filled with affection.

Azara glared at him, her eyes narrowing as if she were trying to pierce through his sincerity.

"You're so lame. Work on your pickup lines," she said before kneeling and beginning to pray.

Whether Liam admitted it or not, his eyes betrayed the hurt he felt from her harsh words.

But despite Azara's tough exterior and sharp tongue, he loved her deeply.

It was precisely this unfiltered honesty and fierce independence that had first drawn him to her.

"You know, I've been attending Mass at this Quiapo church every Sunday without fail," Liam said with a note of pride.

"Shut up, I'm trying to pray to God," Azara retorted, her tone suggesting she had little interest in Liam's words.

"What are you praying for?" Liam asked, genuinely curious.

"That we can get married," Azara replied with a simple, direct honesty.

Her response left Liam momentarily stunned, his heartbeat quickening in response.

He also felt a flush of embarrassment warming his face.

Kneeling beside Azara, he began to pray as well.

---

Seyren's POV

"I can't believe you managed to follow us," Elowen exclaimed, her voice tinged with surprise as we sat in the taxi.

The meeting had ended, and when they realized I was missing, they decided to take me back to the hospital.

The hospital had called Elowen to let her know I was unaccounted for.

"Sorry, you guys left me behind," I said, looking out the window.

Even now, my thoughts kept drifting back to what Skyler had said.

The Ten Commandments...

If that's the case, then the next victim of the killer will be someone who breaks the eighth commandment.

Thou shalt not steal.

Who in the media is known for stealing? I can't think of anyone fitting that description.

"You seem lost in thought. Care to share what's on your mind?" Elowen asked with a sigh.

"Aren't you surprised by these kinds of revelations?" I inquired.

She looked at me, taking my hand in hers and giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Nothing will scare or shock me. The only time I'd be truly afraid or shocked is if you and Azara were no longer by my side. You two are my most precious treasures." Her words brought a smile to my face.

"Don't worry, I'll never leave. Where else would I go?" I reassured her.

She smiled, resting her head on my shoulder and taking a deep breath.

"Promise me one thing, Seyren. Not just as a friend, but as a sister who has watched you grow up."

"What do you want me to vow?" I asked softly.

"I want you to promise that you will never put yourself in danger. If you can avoid it, stay away from risky situations. I need you and Azara to be safe because you're the only family I have left. I don't know what I would do if I lost both of you." The sadness in her voice was palpable, clear in the change of tone.

"I promise... Just one thing, though. Have you truly forgiven your parents?" I asked.

"I have forgiven them, but I can never forget how they abandoned me. You understand what I went through, and you never made me feel alone or lonely. That's why I'm with you. Whatever you do or have done, I will always be with you forever." Her words made me smile.

"If Azara hears this, she might get jealous," I joked, though there was some truth to it.

Elowen laughed.

"That's why I'm only sharing this with you. It's our secret," she said.

---

When we arrived back at the hospital, I returned to my room.

We decided to pass the time by playing online games on our phones.

"Knock knock," I looked up, startled by the sound. I glanced toward the door and saw a visitor I hadn't expected.

"Neome!" I exclaimed with a wide smile.

She returned the smile, carrying two bags of food.

"I'm sorry I'm only visiting now. I brought you some food, all your favorites. Good afternoon as well, Ms. Elowen," Neome said, approaching us and greeting Elowen.

The two exchanged friendly kisses on the cheek.

"You've gone out of your way, Neome. Thank you so much for visiting Seyren," Elowen said.

"It's nothing. I couldn't bear to ignore this kid. Even when we were neighbors, I was always his nurse," Neome said with a grin. I pouted at being called a kid.

"Yes, as she mentioned earlier. I'll leave you two for now; I need to grab some things from home. Seyren, behave yourself," Elowen warned before leaving.

I pouted again. Once she was gone, I watched as Neome began peeling a tangerine.

"Is that an orange or a tangerine?" I asked, squinting.

"This is a tangerine. I also brought strawberries and, of course, Nutella because I know you can't eat strawberries without Nutella," she said, her smile growing wider.

"You really know me well," I said, and she nodded with confidence.

"I know you so well I could practically play tricks on you because I'm aware of all your habits," she said, and I laughed instead of feeling offended.

While others might take offense or become suspicious of such a comment, I knew Neome was just teasing.

She could never do anything to hurt me.

We're best friends forever.

"Say ahh"

I was taken aback when she suddenly spoke up, offering me a piece of tangerine as if she wanted to feed it to me.

"I can handle it myself; I can eat on my own," I said, reaching to take the tangerine from her hand. But she playfully swatted my hand away.

"Let me do it. Say 'ahh,'" she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"No, I'll do it myself," I persisted, attempting once more to grab the fruit from her hand.

She gave me a firm look, clearly determined.

"Let me," she insisted, narrowing her eyes and biting her bottom lip-a gesture she always makes when she's feeling particularly eager or excited.

With no other option, I opened my mouth as she placed the tangerine piece inside.

As I bit into it, a broad smile spread across my face, clearly showing my delight.

"Wow. This is delicious!" I exclaimed, genuinely surprised.

She smiled at my reaction and then took a bite of her own tangerine.

I returned her smile with a wide grin and opened my mouth again, signaling for more fruit.

Without any hesitation, she continued to feed me, and we repeated the process until we had finished all the tangerines.

The playful and affectionate exchange made the experience all the more enjoyable.

"This is fantastic, just like the ones from Baguio," I remarked, clapping my hands in appreciation.

"Actually, I bought these in Baguio," Neome said matter-of-factly, which caught me off guard.

"Seriously?"

"Yes, really. I know you're particular about eating strawberries only if they're from Baguio, so I made the trip there. I also picked up tangerines since I know you like them, too." Her gesture was incredibly thoughtful, and my smile grew even wider.

"You really didn't have to go to such lengths. It's so kind of you to go out of your way," I said, touched by her effort.

"It's worth it, though," she said with a smile, standing up to retrieve a box of strawberries from the plastic bag.

She set it down with a sense of satisfaction.

"It's worth it, especially if it's for your happiness. I told you, I'd do anything just to see you happy." She said softly.

"Ang swerte ko naman sa best friend ko"

"Yeah... Best friend." She murmured something I failed to catch.

I decided to overlook her whispered comment, focusing instead on the delightful process unfolding before me.

Neome carefully spread a generous layer of Nutella over the strawberries, ensuring each piece was fully coated.

She then sprinkled a few tiny marshmallows on top, adding an extra touch of sweetness.

As she prepared the fruit, I watched with anticipation.

Neome cut the strawberries into small, manageable pieces and speared one with a fork, offering it to me with a smile.

The moment the Nutella-covered strawberry touched my tongue, a burst of rich, creamy sweetness exploded in my mouth.

My face lit up with sheer pleasure as I savored the perfect blend of flavors.

I couldn't help but clap my hands with childlike enthusiasm, overwhelmed by the taste.

Neome's smile broadened even more, her eyes twinkling with joy at my reaction.

She seemed to be as delighted by my happiness as I was by the treat.

Her constant, cheerful demeanor was something I had come to expect whenever we were together.

Her ability to make even the simplest moments special and enjoyable was one of the many reasons I cherished our friendship so much.

No one's POV

"Now that I'm reading the report, parang tunay nga ang sinasabi mo"

Anthony said as he reviewed his report on the screen of his computer.

The room was filled with the soft hum of the computer's fan and the occasional clacking of keys.

Beside him, Skyler sat absorbed in reading the Bible. It was an unusual sight; she rarely engaged in such practices because she harbored resentment towards God for bestowing upon her a life he never desired.

Her frustration was palpable, and the Bible served as a rare sanctuary of solace amid her discontent.

"Who do you think will be the next victim?" Anthony asked, his voice tinged with frustration as he glanced at his colleague, who was diligently working on a separate case.

Skyler shook her head, indicating her lack of insight into the forthcoming developments.

"But I just received some information from the hospital. Do you want to know why Seyren looked so pale after your interview with Liam Alcantara?" Skyler's voice carried a tone of seriousness as she closed the book she had been reading and focused intently on Anthony.

"Why is that?" Anthony asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Because she's been drugged. She must have consumed or ingested something that caused her pallor." Skyler explained.

The revelation seemed to momentarily halt Anthony's world.

The gravity of the situation hit him hard, as he realized the woman he cared for was in serious danger, and he was blissfully unaware until now.

"But... We haven't eaten anything since you instructed us to-" Anthony began, but then stopped abruptly as he recalled something significant.

"Wait... Liam offered us juice, and Seyren was the first to drink it."

"He offered juice?" Skyler repeated, clearly concerned.

"Yes, it was supposed to be lemon juice, but when I saw it, it didn't look like lemon juice at all; it had a pale, almost transparent hue," Anthony clarified.

Both detectives frowned deeply and exchanged uneasy glances.

Their thoughts aligned with a growing suspicion: Liam might be more involved than they initially suspected.

"That bastard-" Anthony's anger was evident as he stood up abruptly, but Skyler quickly intervened, grabbing his arm to prevent him from making any rash decisions.

"Calm down, Anthony. We can't jump to conclusions right away. We need to keep a low profile and monitor him closely until we catch him in the act," Skyler advised firmly.

"But it's clear he drugged Seyren," Anthony persisted, his frustration mounting.

"Exactly why we need to increase our surveillance on him. Don't you think this is all part of a larger scheme? First, he sent you to that specific hospital, then you accidentally ran over his father, and now you've taken him to the same hospital because it's closer. It's a setup. He had the chance to kill his father and frame us, making Seyren look like the murderer," Skyler said, his gaze intense as he conveyed his suspicions.

"But why would he kill his own father?"

"Because he lacks a conscience, remember? Psychopaths are devoid of empathy and remorse. To him, his father is just another pawn in his game, much like how he views us. This is nothing more than a game to him," Skyler explained, leading Anthony to sit back down, overwhelmed by the new understanding.

"We need to catch him in the act to ensure he goes to jail. For now, I want you to track his movements and find out his schedule," Skyler instructed.

Despite his reluctance, Anthony agreed, willing to do whatever it took for Seyren's sake, even if it meant putting aside his morals.

"He wanted a game. Then let's play a game," Anthony resolved with renewed determination.

---

3 days later

"I don't want to be here anymore; I want to go home," Seyren complained, her voice resembling that of a child throwing a tantrum, complete with exaggerated tears.

"If you're so desperate to go home, then go," Azara replied coldly, her eyes still fixed on her phone as she lounged on the couch.

Her disinterest was palpable, and she had grown weary of Seyren's incessant whining.

"Always complaining and can't even take care of herself," Azara muttered under her breath.

Seyren fell silent and smiled at Azara, her expression genuine and bright.

Azara felt a pang of discomfort with the sudden silence.

She lifted her head slowly and, upon glancing at Seyren, felt as though time had frozen.

She saw Seyren's radiant smile, her eyes crinkling with joy, and her upper teeth visible-a smile that seemed genuinely warm.

"Stop smiling, you look ridiculous," Azara said firmly, her irritation evident as she averted her gaze.

She turned her back to Seyren, biting her lower lip, feeling conflicted.

Though she found Seyren's display of affection endearing, she was reluctant to admit it.

Her pride kept her from expressing any soft feelings.

While she was on the phone, she received an unexpected call.

Stepping out of the room, she answered the call with a polite tone.

"Yes, Ms. Mendez, how can I assist you?" she greeted the caller.

"Good evening, Ms. Cameron. I'd like to extend an invitation to you and your two sisters for my 2nd-year death-alive anniversary this coming Friday. It would truly warm my heart if you could attend. We're hosting a party." the caller said.

The woman on the other end was a former colleague from the acting industry, well-known among the Camerons and occasionally a business partner.

"We are delighted to accept your invitation to the pool party, Ms. Mendez. My sisters will be thrilled. We will definitely attend, don't worry," Azara responded, her tone polite and enthusiastic.

She admired Ms. Mendez, who had been a role model and an inspiration for her acting career.

After a brief conversation, they agreed that each sister could bring a plus one to the event.

Returning to the room, Azara found that Elowen and his girlfriend had arrived to take over the night watch for Seyren.

"Finally, you're here," Azara remarked with indifference, heading straight to her room.

"Sorry for the delay; we stopped to get dinner," Elowen explained as he entered the room.

Seyren's face lit up upon seeing Elowen.

Azara headed to the couch, packed her belongings, and prepared to leave, eager to return home.

"I'm heading out, and before I forget, Ms. Mendez invited us to her second death-alive anniversary. You both must attend, whether you like it or not. It's this Friday night, and since it's also your discharge day, I suggest you come as well," Azara said, almost as if giving orders, especially to Seyren.

She was aware that Ms. Mendez had a fondness for Seyren, even though she wasn't a Cameron.

"I'm up for it. What about you, Elowen?" Seyren asked.

"I'll only be there because I know one of you will have trouble getting home properly," Elowen responded.

"Good, don't forget to bring your plus one. Now, goodbye," Azara said, leaving with a final glance at Seyren before exiting.

As she left, Seyren turned back to Elowen.

"He really doesn't like to distance himself from us, does he?" she joked, eliciting laughter from the couple.

"You're not used to it yet. Seyren, don't get too drunk at the party, okay? There's bound to be a woman who'll overindulge," Elowen said, referring to Azara, who had already left.

"Well, aren't you going to enjoy the party then?" Skyler asked curiously while preparing their dinner.

"Elowen is always like that; he never thinks about himself at parties, focusing solely on us. It can make me feel quite guilty at times," Seyren said as she settled at the table.

Skyler first served her girlfriend but Elowen gave his portion to Seyren.

It was a clear demonstration of how Elowen prioritized others over himself.

"I'll come with you. There's a plus one, right?" Skyler said, accepting the food from Elowen.

"What? But you don't have to. I thought you had plans for Friday night?" Elowen said, looking up to meet his girlfriend's eyes.

"Yeah, forget that. I'll be your plus one so you can enjoy the party without worrying about them," Skyler said, taking her place beside Elowen.

She even peeled shrimp for Elowen, who was too focused on preparing food for Seyren.

"That's so sweet, love. Thank you," Elowen said, using a baby voice. Skyler responded with a tender kiss on her cheek.

"Yie! Kung kaninong relationship nalang talaga ako kinikilig. Hayss, when kaya ang akin, lord."

Seyren's attempt to tease the couple was met with their usual indifference.

The playful jabs seemed to roll off them effortlessly.

"Honestly, Seyren, you're so oblivious. There are definitely people who find you attractive; you just don't seem to notice," Elowen said with a touch of exasperation as she picked up her fork and began eating.

Skyler chimed in, reinforcing Elowen's comment.

"Elowen's right. There are people who like you. You're just not paying attention."

Seyren looked at them, feigning a dramatic exasperation.

"Why are you both ganging up on me?" she asked, her voice slightly elevated as she started to eat her meal.

"Oh wait, I haven't said my prayer yet," Seyren said abruptly, pausing her meal.

She closed her eyes and began to pray quietly.

Elowen and Skyler exchanged glances but followed suit, respecting her moment of reflection.

Once the prayer was over, they returned to their dinner.

"By the way, I'm not as clueless as you think. I can tell when someone likes me, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. It's much clearer when people actually confess their feelings rather than just showing it through actions, which can be quite confusing," Seyren said, her tone a mix of defensiveness and reason.

Elowen and Skyler looked at each other, clearly contemplating her words.

The couple's synchronized gaze fell back on Seyren.

"So you're aware that Neome has feelings for you?" Skyler asked.

"And you're aware that Anthony is interested in you as well?" Elowen added.

Seyren was taken aback by their simultaneous revelations.

Although it was a surprise to her, Elowen and Skyler had been privy to these feelings for some time.

"Do they have to be mentioned together?" Seyren asked, her tone a mix of curiosity and frustration.

"Seyren," the couple said together, their voices a blend of warning and emphasis.

Seyren let out a sigh, her shoulders slumping as she rolled her eyes.

"Fine. I know they have feelings for me, but I prefer not to make assumptions unless they directly confess. I find it more straightforward that way," she said with a hint of finality.

"So, which one of them are you interested in?" Elowen asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Neither," Seyren replied firmly, her expression unyielding.

"They've been my best friends for a long time, so I wouldn't date either of them. Regardless of whether I have feelings for one of them, I wouldn't want to jeopardize our friendship. It would be a shame if things went wrong and we ended up losing that bond," Seyren explained, her voice tinged with a mix of resolve and sadness.

"Break up right away? That's your view?" Skyler asked, clearly surprised by Seyren's stance.

Seyren nodded with a smile.

"Yes, exactly. I want a partner who can truly understand and tolerate me, but I don't want someone who always agrees with me. I believe differences are important in a relationship."

The couple nodded in understanding, clearly respecting her perspective.

"So, who are you planning to bring as your plus one?" Elowen inquired, hoping Seyren might choose Neome.

Skyler, meanwhile, was hoping Seyren would opt for Anthony.

"Most likely Anthony. I'm pretty sure Neome is invited too, given that she used to be Ms Mendez makeup artist," Seyren replied.

Elowen's face fell slightly at this news, while Skyler couldn't help but smile, evidently pleased with Seyren's choice.

After they finished their meal, the couple settled into some light-hearted fun, playing online games on their phones.

They lost track of time, absorbed in their gaming session, until Elowen gently reminded Seyren that it was time for bed.

Seyren, behaving like a child, complied without hesitation.

Moments later, she was peacefully asleep, her breathing steady and calm.

Skyler and Elowen, left alone in the spacious family-sized sofa, found themselves enveloped in a cozy cocoon of comfort.

Skyler lay back against the cushions, and Elowen nestled on top of her, her face pressed into the crook of Skyler's neck.

The warm, intimate moment was interrupted when Skyler felt Elowen's soft, lingering kisses trailing along her neck.

The sensation sent shivers down her spine.

"Mmhh~ Elowen, what are you doing?" Skyler inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity as she felt the tender kisses.

"Hmm?" Elowen responded with a gentle hum. She lifted her head slightly, meeting Skyler's gaze with a loving smile before returning to her affectionate kisses.

Skyler felt a gentle nibble on her skin, causing her to bite her lip in response.

"F-fuck..." She instinctively wrapped her arms around Elowen's slender waist, pulling her closer, their bodies perfectly aligned.

"Elowen..."

"Babe, I wanted to thank you for taking care of me. This is the first time someone has cared for me like this. Normally, I'm the one taking care of others because I never received that kind of attention from my parents," Elowen confessed, lifting her face to look into Skyler's eyes.

Skyler gazed back with warmth and tenderness.

"I know... That's why I'm here, taking care of you. And don't ever feel like you need to thank me. It's my duty and privilege as your girlfriend. You spent so long pursuing me, Elowen. Now, it's my turn to court you," Skyler said with a playful smile, her eyes sparkling with affection.

"But we're together now," Elowen responded, her tone a mixture of satisfaction and curiosity.

"So? I'll keep wooing you even after we're married. I want you to feel like a queen. In this world, you deserve to be loved and cherished, not just treated as a background character," Skyler said, capturing Elowen's lips in a brief but passionate kiss.

The kiss, though fleeting, filled Elowen with a fluttering sensation in her stomach.

"In my world, you are the center of my existence. In a life where everything seems to be falling apart, you are the most precious thing that has ever been mine," Skyler continued, her voice filled with deep sincerity and devotion.

The words hung in the air, a testament to her unwavering love and commitment.

Elowen's heart swelled with emotion at the heartfelt declaration.

She nestled closer to Skyler, her head resting on her girlfriend's shoulder as they enjoyed the tranquility of the moment.

"I love you much, Skyler."

"I'm sorry, Elowen. But I love you more. Don't even argue with me dahil kaya kong makipag debate sayo mapatunayan ko lang na mas mahal kita. Heck, I would die no... I wouldn't just die for you. I would die and kill for you if I had to." She took a deep breath before hugging her girlfriend.

"I actually hated god and never actually considered myself as his child. But damn, I thank him for giving you to me. Then I found myself praying for your safety and sake... The things you do to me are actually concerning... But in a positive way."

"I think I'm ready to be his child again to be honest."
