I was greeted with a surprised smirk as Ezra and I joined Darien back at the table. I gave a sheepish glare back at him, hoping he wouldn't comment on our appearances, which thankfully he didn't. "Now let's just hope you make it through lunch without anymore assisted bathroom visits." He poked fun at me, which I didn't necessarily appreciate and Ezra gave a small chuckle, worsening my embarrassment.
"Damn. Asshole drank all of the coke." Ezra lifted the soda can and peered inside, giving Darien a small glare. He shrugged in response and we continued chatting for the next ten minutes until the end of lunch, and I thankfully made it through without anymore babyish treatment from both boys.
"Alright Everybody, lunchtime is about over. Go ahead and clean up all of your things and line up behind your leader!" After another painstaking whistle, we heard the announcement and started to throw stuff away and line up. Before Ezra walked back over he nodded towards me and said that he would see me later.
"Okay, I hope that everybody had a good lunch, and now it is everybody's favorite part of the day... recess! Everybody please follow me to the playground and make sure to keep up with the group." We were silent as we shuffled out of the door after her and to the playground, only a few of us actually excited.
Once we reached the gated area I looked around and saw every kids dream; slides, swings, jungle gym, monkey bars and more as well as some water fountains and bathrooms. "Remember! We stay inside of the green fence at all times! If you need something please come and find me. Now, go play." Some of the kids actually ran to jump onto the various equipment with the majority of us just walking to find somewhere to hang out. Darien and I trudged over to one of the large tunnels on the ground and sat inside.
"Dude what was that? You two were definitely doing something in there." He raised his eyebrows at me, waiting for me to explain. I smiled a little and gave a casual shrug. "I slipped and he caught me and then we just made out. Idk." He smirked and crossed his arms. "Wow. I'm a little jealous, tbh. How was it?" I laughed a little because for some reason I had forgotten about his bluntness. "I mean, standard but maybe better?" I kind of vaguely gestured, not knowing what to say. Was it good?
"So you like him, right?" I looked at him and looked back to the tunnel wall. "Maybe. I mean he's hot, obviously. But he's also like an ACTUAL dom..." We were silent for a second. "So you don't know if you want to be an actual sub?" I looked back at him. "I don't really know how it works. Like what if I hate it and he doesn't? Plus, I don't want to just embarrass myself in front of him." He stared at me, in thought. "It wouldn't be embarrassing to him, plus this place is supposedly designed to teach you how it works. I don't know about that yet. But, like, what do you have to lose?" I had to admit that he made a point, but I also couldn't just magically be vulnerable to everyone. "That's true. Be honest, should I just try?" I asked him, because I knew I could trust him to give an honest opinion. Maybe that's why I like him.
"Why else are you here? Worst case scenario you hate it and you go home or something." Okay maybe he's too honest, because that makes sense. "Shit. Okay, I'll see what I can do or something. Why not?" He nodded, like he had done good, which made me smile a little bit. "Okay, uh, what about you? Worst case scenario, you like go home or something." I raised my eyebrows and he sighed and leaned against the tunnel wall. "I mean if you're doing it, I might as well try." He rolled his eyes, jokingly seeming to give up. "Okay, so we're both gonna try and be embarrassing subs together, right?" I stuck out my hand, deciding to make a deal. " Whatever." He scoffed and took my hand and shook it.
After about an hour of talking with Darien in the tunnel, Ms. Sammy blew her insufferable whistle and we all gathered around to listen to her. "Okay, I hope you had a good recess but it's time to go back for nap time. But this time is different because when we get back to the dorms, all of the other patients will be there! They've been on their camping trip since yesterday morning to help all of you guys adjust so now it may be a bit more crowded, but you'll all get used to it soon. But luckily for you guys a lot of the other littles have already been partnered and are now living in the partner dorms with their doms so there will only be a few more boys in your cabin. But anyways! Let's go ahead and get back so we can clean some of you little guys up and get to bed!" We all quietly walked after her as she opened the green gate and led us out, most of us pretty tired.
When we reached the dorms we walked in to several other boys already sitting around and talking, which I realized must have been the older patients. Ms. Sammy introduced us and they seemed pretty comfortable with the whole process as we all got ready for bed. Some of the other boys were actually kind of dirty from playing outside where as I only had to change into shorts before getting comfortable. I wasn't really sure if I planned to sleep yet, but I figured if I wasn't tired I could just read a book. Nap time is only about an hour and a half, and thankfully I found myself falling asleep about ten minutes after laying down.
I was later awoken softly by Darien, who had already been awoken by Ms. Sammy and I was glad to realize I did feel much better after getting some sleep. "Good morning, sunshine." I glared as he leaned down by my face to pester me awake. "Fck Off." I said casually as I sat up slowly, feeling slightly disoriented. "We have group next. Have you ever been?" He asked me, and I shook my head as I pulled off the covers. "Oh, well it kind of sucks but it helps if you pretend each person is putting on a one-act play." He said jokingly. I chuckled as I stood up and changed my pants, hoping he wouldn't notice my thighs. "Have you ever heard a funny one before?" I asked him as I made my bed back up. "Yes, actually and I got kicked out once for laughing." He grinned as he reminisced, and I laughed a little while picturing him cracking up at some crying kid while a doctor yelled at him.
"Okay, Let's go ahead and head over to the other building where you will be split up into groups for group time." We all followed Ms. Sammy, this time a little more reluctant. We reached the large white building after following the small path through the trees and all sat down in the waiting area.
"Alright, I'm going to call some names and you're going to go with whichever doctor is here to collect you." She held up a clipboard and we all listened for our names. The first group included Darien and he stood up and followed them while I waited for my group to be called. My group was the third one to be called and we all followed a tall women with curly blonde hair that fell down to her back. She led us to a room upstairs which had a bunch of chairs arranged in a circle, just like I had expected. We all took a seat silently and waited for her to talk.
"Hi everyone, my name is Dr. K. Let's go ahead and start by saying our names, age and your little age if you have one. I'll go first, ok?" We all sat quietly as she repeated her name and told us that she was 34, and then it went on to the next person in the circle, and after about four people it was my turn. "My name is Jasper and I'm 17." I shrugged into my jacket and let the next person go. After another several people went it was over, with only a few of us having little ages.
"Does anyone want to start us off? If you're new, we can take turns to talk about what's bothering us and take each other's words into account to better help us understand each other's situation and our own." I didn't think that I would want to say anything this time, but I was intrigued to listen to the other boys. After a few seconds, one of the boys raised his hand and began speaking about his family and stuff at his old school, and we all listened. It went on like this for the rest of the time, only a few of us not saying anything.
After two whole hours of talking and some crying, group was finally over and I was glad. I was ready to go and see Darien and Ezra again, which was weird because I only just met them and I already really enjoyed spending time with them.
We all gathered into the lobby again as all of the other groups came to join us and waited for Ms. Sammy to collect us. Darien sulked over and leaned against the wall next to me, looking bored. "Too many one-acts for one day." He sighed and I went over and joined him against the wall. "No shit. That was exhausting." We stood like that as we watched Ms. Sammy walk in and ask us to follow her.
She led us back to the playground and told us not to get too dirty before dinner and to not leave the green fence area. Darien and I went and sat on one of the swing sets this time, just lightly swinging in circles.
"So. Have you seen any partners that you're interested in yet?" I smirked and waited for his response. I was mostly joking so I was pretty surprised when he didn't say anything, so I stopped moving the swing and stared at him. "Who???" He suddenly looked a little shy, which I hadn't seen before. "Uhh, you know that like weird blond kid???" He was digging his shoe around in the mulch as I tried to picture who he was talking about. "Not really?" He stopped moving his shoe and returned mostly back to his usual demeanor. "I sat with him on the bus and he was pretty cool. He told me about his band and stuff. His name is Jayden. I saw him at the other blue table today, but I kind of already knew it. I don't know if he came here on purpose or not." I started swinging again as I took in this information, still trying to picture this guy. "You should like invite him over to our table or ask Ezra about him or something. He would probably say yes." I watched him think about it, and he nodded. "I'll just ask him at dinner." I again was impressed at how straight forward he was, and envied him just a little bit for having so much courage all the time.
We continued talking about Jayden and Ezra and everything and at some point I realized we sounded like a couple of teenage girls and thought it was a bit amusing. But pretty soon we heard the whistle and we were lead to the cafeteria, which for once I was pretty interested in seeing as though Darien was going to talk to this blond guy.
I had only been sitting for a few seconds before Ezra came to join me, which didn't surprise me this time. "Where's Darien?" He looked around for a couple seconds after sitting down, which made me smirk and point my head over to the other blue table. Ezra raised his eyebrows and we both watched to see what would happen in anticipation.
After a few seconds, we grinned and tried to pretend we weren't watching as a casual Darien walked back over with a towering blond behind him. Darien sat next to me and Jayden sat across from us next to Ezra. "Hey." Ezra nodded his head at Jayden, as if they already knew each other and Jayden nodded back, looking a little giddy though trying to hide it. I shot Darien a look and he just smirked back, like things worked like this for him all the time.
"I'm Jasper." I looked at him politely, seeing as though I was the only one who didn't already know him. He smiled a little and told me his name and I took in his features; he had shaggy, layered, light blond hair and brown eyes and some ear piercings and was wearing a black, tight-fitting T-shirt with some khaki cargo pants and red sneakers as well as red nail polish.
We all made some small talk, with all of us eating burgers and fries, though Ezra and Jayden had soda instead of juice. But, of course, Darien saw this as an opportunity. "Hey, can you go and get me some coke? Our side doesn't have any." I watched as he feigned innocence and held his cup towards Jayden, who to my amusement, smiled and shook his head teasingly. "I think there's a reason there isn't any on your side. This is for the doms, sorry kid." He grinned as Darien stared back at him, as if he didn't hear him or was waiting for him to say he was kidding. "Yeah, and I get that for sure but carbonation happens to be the one thing I can't really live without. So can you do me a favor?" Darien gave him an extra 'sweet' smile and continued to hold out his cup, to which Jayden smirked at him, seeming to find this funny. "Nope. Maybe you can earn it from someone later. But you can have a couple sips of mine if you want." I was starting to like Jayden as I watched Darien's heart actually break in his eyes as he slumped back down and put his cup down defeatedly.
"I may have to take notes, actually." Ezra chimed in, also enjoying this interaction. This caused me to give him a small glare, taking a bite from my burger while staring at him. "It's all about bartering in the end, I guess." Jayden smugly told him, which made Ezra actually seem interested in taking advice from him, which made Darien and I exchange sarcastic glances, which I think Ezra noticed. "Yeah I mean compared to his carbonation addiction, this little asshole is way more stubborn than you would think." He grinned while gesturing towards me which made my ears heat up a bit and for Darien to laugh. "Have you tried any punishments?" He asked, causing me to look away and chew on a fry and for Ezra to actually look a little bit flustered. "Oh-Uh, I mean we aren't partnered yet or anything..." He kind of awkwardly laughed it off, but all I heard was the 'yet' in that sentence, which made me look at him and he looked back really kindly which actually made me appreciate the extra word. The other boys didn't notice this exchange and continued the conversation but it was kind of nice to know what he was thinking about me.
