Rivaan returned home that evening with the spicy and sweet treats Naina had requested, a grin on his face as he opened the door. He could already picture her standing there, her face lighting up at the sight of her cravings being fulfilled.

Naina and Rivaan sat down together, ready to enjoy the dinner he'd brought. The soft glow of the dining room light added a sense of warmth to the moment as they exchanged smiles, their fingers brushing occasionally as they reached for food. There was a quiet understanding between them now, something deeper, as if the walls they'd built around their emotions were slowly crumbling.

As they shared bites of the spicy and sweet food Naina had craved, she couldn’t help but chuckle. “You spoil me, Rivaan.”

He smirked, leaning over to kiss her on the cheek. “Well, I like seeing you happy. Plus, I don’t want to face the wrath of your cravings.”

Just as the evening seemed to be wrapping up in bliss, the doorbell rang, breaking their bubble. Rivaan raised an eyebrow. "Expecting someone?"

Naina shook her head. “No… maybe it’s your brother?”

Rivaan sighed playfully. “Great timing, as always.”

When Rivaan opened the door, sure enough, there stood Anamay with a grin on his face. “You guys are having all the fun without me?” he teased as he walked in.

“Come on in, I guess,” Rivaan said, chuckling, while Naina greeted Anamay with a smile.

“I actually came to see Naina,” Anamay said, playfully ignoring his brother. “Just wanted to check up on my favorite future sister-in-law.”

Naina blushed slightly at the remark, while Rivaan shot him a look. “You're always welcome here, but at least call next time,” Rivaan joked, rolling his eyes.

The three of them spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing, making jokes, and enjoying each other’s company. Anamay, always the life of the party, made sure the night was full of fun. But as the evening drew to a close, Anamay excused himself and retired to the guest room, leaving Rivaan and Naina alone once again.

Later that night, as they lay in bed, Rivaan pulled Naina close, his arm wrapped around her protectively. They didn’t need to say anything—the warmth of their embrace was enough. They slept soundly, tangled in each other’s arms, completely unaware of the storm brewing on the horizon.

For now, everything was calm, but tomorrow held unexpected challenges that would test the bond they had only just begun to solidify.
