Chapter 23: chapter 23

Shreya reached Rakesh's home along with both the brothers. Raghav was sitting in the living room, reading newspaper. Nikita was descending the stairs. As soon as she saw Shreya entering in, she came down bouncing band hugged her tightly, saying how long it has been since they met. Raghav also stood up and gave her a hug. Nikita saw Shreya's hand being dressed and asked her what happened. All three looked at each other and Shreya just shrugged and said it was nothing and just that she was careless while drinking water. Raghav asked her to take care and told ger to sit. That's when Rakshita came to the living room. Raghav introduces her as Rakesh's wife. Shreya's eyes glistened. He informed Rakshita that Shreya is Rakesh's best buddy from childhood. Shreya stood glued at her spot without knowing what to speak but Rakshita moved toward her and hugged her, Shreya didn't feel regretful at her action. Rather it felt right, as if a friend is giving her a consoling, which she needed the most at the moment. Once they parted, Shreya rummaged through her bag and took a box of custom made perfumes and gave to Rakshita, mentioning that those were Rakesh's favourite ones. She smiled sadly and said, this isn't a planned gift as she wasn't aware of Rakesh's wedding until this morning. Raghav looked at Rakesh with a disdainful expression. Quickly Nikita informed that they couldn't reach Shreya for past three months. He nodded and asked Shreya to go and rest in a room. But Shreya declined and told she is moving to her parent's farm house. Everyone looked at her bewildered, but she declared that this was her choice as she needed some privacy. Raghav became sad but she promised him that she will visit him often and agreed to have girls night with Nikita. Then she looked at Rakshita and smiled and said her goodbyes to everyone. Sachin observed her actions and felt bad for her. He knew she is controlling herself from falling apart. Though she is broken, it is not evident on her face. She began to leave, she stumbled due to nauseous caused because of her blood loss. Sachin hurried to her side and held her. He steadied her, she held herself by holding his shirt. Everyone were worried about her. Rakshita rushed to kitchen and brought her  some lime juice to drink. She thanked her and had it but still she didn't feel good.  So Sachin informed that he will drop Shreya and her house. Raghav agreed and Rakesh took her belongings to her car. Shreya again stood up to leave, but she couldn't even move, looking at her state Sachin lifted her bridal style and told he will take her to doctor first and then to the house. Everyone nodded and when he turned around to leave, Rakesh entered in, followed by Neil and Shally on his tow. Shally looked Sachin carrying Shreya. She was dumbfounded. He could neither put her down nor explain Shally at the moment. She looked hurt but Sachin couldn't decipher her expression and just kept moving.
