I feel so bad for not updating in months! I've been having a pretty bad writer's block. Also I've been hooked reading the Alpha series by Midika, I suggest reading her books they are amazing.
I haven't seen Parker the past couple days. I've been busy with the pack as the new Luna. I've had to gone to meetings, help out with the pups, meeting the pack, and so much more. Parker has been coming home late. My wolf couldn't stand being separated now that I've marked him. I couldn't imagine how worse it would be if I was marked too.
"Luna, the trial starts soon. Alpha wants you there in 15 minutes," a voice spoke from the other side of my bedroom door.
A sigh escaped past my lips. I already felt exhausted and this trial would probably last forever. Hopefully the trial goes good for Dakota. Who knows what Peyton would do.
"Ok," I called back, my voice muffled by the pillows on my bed. Rolling off the bed, I stood up and changed my clothes.
I pulled on a pair of black jeans, combat boots, a random shirt, and a leather jacket not really caring what I was wearing.
I left the house and walked to where the trials were being held. I pulled my jacket closer to my body as cold wind of winter blew passed me. Small flakes fell enchantingly, collecting on the ground and trees. It started collecting on my hair too.
A small smile graced my lips. I love snow. It looks so beautiful, well until it mixes with dirt and becomes that ugly dark grey color. When I reached the building, I walked in, greeted by the heat blasting.
"Luna! Alpha is waiting for you," a hand grabbed my wrist pulling me in a random direction. Jonas rounded a corner pulling me with him.
"Slow down," I mumbled. "My short legs aren't long enough to keep up with your pace."
Jonas just chuckled before coming to a halt. He ushered me through the door first. My eyes take in the sight before me. It was an arena with pack members surrounding it sitting in seats. Most of them looking excited of the thought of possibly getting a new pack member. Jonas directed me up a set of stairs. When we reached the top there was a seat there waiting for me. Parker was sitting in the seat next to it.
When his eyes landed on me they darkened slightly. Jonas bowed his head to Parker before turning and leaving.
"Come," Parker said to me, gesturing to the seat next to him. My feet carried me the rest of the distance. I took a seat and left my hands on my lap.
I felt a hand place on my thigh, making heat shoot up my leg. Then I felt lips press to my temple. My eyes widened slightly. I turned my head to glance at Parker and he had a small smile gracing his lips.
My stomach clenched. Just from the simple kiss on my cheek, it felt as the sparks were crawling up my body and eating me alive.
I kinda liked it.
My eyes landed to the mark on his neck. I stared in awe at it.
"You okay?" Parker asked me. I nodded and moved my finger up to trace the mark. It was shaped like a crescent moon with my initials underneath it. Usually marks only consist of the mate's initials. Its even hard to understand how the initials even get there from just a bite.
"Why is there a moon there?" I asked curiously as Parker shivered under the touch of my finger.
"I don't know. It's kind of odd," he responded, his voice a little strangled. I smirked at him before pulling my hand away. My eyes found its way back to the mark. Is it supposed to mean something? Was it because he's an Alpha?
Parker stood up and looked at me, "It's time."
Parker stood in the middle of the arena, in front of Dakota who was chained to a pole. The large pole was in the center of the room.
"To be able to join this pack, you have to pass a few tests and answer all my questions honestly," Parker spoke. His deep voice boomed throughout the large room. "Do you understand me?"
Dakota glanced away from Parker, his eyes landing on Peyton for a brief moment.
"Yes, Alpha Parker," he responded.

Dakota passed each test. He was finally on the last one, which would give the final decision whether or not he can be part of the pack.
"The last test will be easy. Just answer my questions truthfully," Parker spoke with his arms crossed over his chest. Not a single bit of sweat was visible.
Dakota nodded. He, however, had sweat dripping from his forehead. He had cuts all over his body with dry blood.
"Good." Parker took steps around Dakota who was chained up once again. "I will be able to tell if you're telling the truth or lying by listening to your heartbeat."
Dakota visibly gulped because of the dangerous voice of Parker. I could tell that one wrong move and he'd probably be killed, despite him being Peyton's mate.
"First question," Parker began. "Do you promise to give full loyalty to this pack?"
"Yes, Alpha," the words were barely audible as they flowed past Dakota's lips.
"Do you promise to accept your mate's pack and protect her, and anyone else in the pack, with your life?"
"Yes, Alpha," his voice was stronger this time as his eyes flitted to Peyton.
"Do you understand that if you betray this pack, you will be stripped from it and live the rest of your life as a rogue."
Dakota's jaw clenched at the mention of the word rogue. "I understand, Alpha."
Parker unfolded his arms and straightened. "Welcome to the pack." He then unchained Dakota and ordered someone to get him freshened up and tend the wounds. The pack members cheered with glee that they had a new pack member.
I felt a smile form on my lips as I glanced at Peyton who had a big grin on her face.
I may have not trusted him, but I was glad Peyton was happy.

"We need to double the scouting shifts at the north and east borders. There have been reports of rogue activity in those areas," one of the men around the table stated.
All of us agreed. That would be very smart.
It was my turn to speak. "I think we should double scouting at all ends, because we don't know when the Rogue King will strike," I suggested.
"Yes, we should do that. Thank you, Luna," another man responded. Parker looked at me thoughtfully.
This was the first time Parker had let me come to one of his meetings. There were about 20 men sitting around a table, higher ranks at one end.
Each day there are more and more rogue activity near the borders, except they don't actually cross onto our territory. It's like they are waiting for something. Something we probably aren't expecting at all.
"So we will double the scouting at all ends, extend the shifts as well, and start a curfew after sunset. No one can go into the woods after sunset. Anyone who goes into the woods must be in a group at all times and any pups must be accompanied by an adult," Parker listed, finalizing the meeting.
That was the end of the meeting and everyone got up from their chairs, leaving Parker and I alone. I make a move to get up, but he grabs my wrist.
Trying to ignore the sparks shooting up my arm, I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I don't want you going in the woods at all by yourself. Make sure I'm with you or even Zander or Jonas," he told me seriously.
I can handle myself pretty well, but I understand why he's doing this. I am in danger, after all, and he doesn't want to risk it. So instead of protesting, I just nodded.
I tried to free my wrist from his grip, however, his grip only tightened. Instead, he yanked me towards him. My head hit his chest while he snaked an arm around my waist. Shivers shot down my back when I felt his lips lightly graze my earlobe.
"I don't know what I would do without you, Jasmine," he whispered huskily. His other hand let go of my wrist and lifted my chin so I was looking into his green eyes, dark like the forest.
I loved the way my name rolled off his tongue. It sounded so sexy.
Before I could say anything, he sealed his mouth over mine. His lips were soft but firm as they locked with mine. He began to kiss me softly but passionately. I moved my mouth the same pace as him. This kiss was different from the others. It was more of an agonizing, toe-curling kiss.
His hand slid to the base of my neck and his other arm tightened around my waist.
My hands had a mind of their own, sliding up his chest and tangling into his hair.
Parker's tongue forced my lips apart. He tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Our breaths became ragged. I felt his chest rise quickly as he breathed harder.
In one swift move, Parker lifted me up and onto the table. My legs immediately went around his waist and pulled him closer to me.
Parker took the opportunity that my hair was up to kiss my neck. He placed kisses along my jaw, gently nipping the skin in the process. He continued kisses down my throats and neck. I tilted my head to give him more access, which he gladly took.
Let me just say that I've never wanted someone so bad in my life. His mouth works like magic.
I couldn't help the soft moans and pleas escaping my lips as Parker worked his way back up to my lips. He hungrily began kissing me again.
Our moment was short-lived when the door opened and someone cleared their throat.
We both pulled away and Parker gave the guest an annoyed look
"What?"
"Sorry, Alpha. I didn't know you were busy. Please, excuse me. But we need your help at the East border," the man informed Parker. I recognized him as one of the men from the meeting.
Parker nodded and turned to me. He pressed a kiss to my forehead. "I promise to finish this later," he whispered.
He then turned and left with the man. I got off the table and left the room. I made my way out of the pack house. I didn't realize how late it was. The sky was already dark.
Remembering what Parker said, I decided to take the road instead of the woods to get home. To spend less time outside, I sprinted just for precaution.
I saw the house come into view, so I picked up my pace. Once I reached the front door, I pulled out my keys and put it into the lock. As I turned the key, I felt something hit the back of my neck.
I reached behind and felt my neck. Wincing, I pulled out what looked like a tranquilizer with pieces of silver on it. My eyes widened as my head began to spin and my legs felt like jelly.
My vision blurred as I noticed a figure approach me. The last thing I felt was another pain shoot up my leg before I fell to the ground.

FINALLY!
I know what you guys are thinking: FINALLY AN UPDATE!
My thoughts are exactly the same. I'm so relieved that I'm able to update. This update took so much time to write because I had no clue how to write it.
I've been getting all your messages, telling me to update. I feel so bad it that it's been months.
I don't know how many more chapters are left, but I know there will be a sequel. I think I've come up with a title but I'm not really sure. I have ideas on what it will be about and I hope you guys will like it.
I'm on Spring Break so I've had more time to write this chapter. Those who follow me on Instagram saw my post.
