Chapter 118: CH 118

Lu Zhouzhi had yet to ask anything that already his mother had hung up the phone. He cursed Shen Yi several times in his mind, and then called his father, asking for the address of the hospital.

He did not even have time to put down his school bag nor take off his school uniform and just took a taxi straight to the hospital.

Lu Zhouzhi, this little bast**d son, arrived even earlier than Lu Wanwan’s mother and rushed into the ward. The doctors and nurses outside were unable to stop him.

When Lu Zhouzhi rushed in, Lu Wanwan was sitting on the small sofa with her legs crossed, happily eating the grapes in her left hand and the honeydew melon in her right hand.

“Sister, what happened to you? Ah? Are you okay ah?” Lu Zhouzhi’s eyes looked up and down at her, and his questions kept popping up continuously like a machine gun’s bullets, “Did Shen Yi hit you again? You tell me, how many times has it been already? Not only did you not divorce him, but now you’re helping this sc*m to have a child, you’re really too stupid.”

Lu Wanwan’s ears were buzzing, Lu Zhouzhi spoke too quickly, she did not hear clearly what this brother had been saying.

She swallowed a grape, looked up at him, and asked instinctively, “Have you finished your homework?”

He had not.

Lu Wanwan smiled at him kindly and said, “Then you should go and do your homework.”

Lu Zhouzhi said, “Sister, leave aside my matters for now, we are talking about you.”

Lu Wanwan was tired mentally, she had a long sigh and explained, “Shen Yi didn’t hit me.”

Lu Zhouzhi did not believe it, thinking that his sister was blinded by love, “Then how come you’re hospitalized now!!!?”

“I’m sick.”

Shen Yi had come in for a while already, Lu Zhouzhi was in the midst of talking his piece and didn’t notice him at first.

Shen Yi took away the fruit plate in front of Lu Wanwan, his lips were pursed in a straight line, not looking very happy, “Don’t eat so much.”

Lu Wanwan was even more unhappy than him, “Oh.”

Shen Yi frowned as he looked towards Lu Zhouzhi, there was a subtle contempt and sarcasm in his tone, “Classes are over?”

What kind of tone was that? That of a father talking to his son?

Lu Zhouzhi’s face turned angry, “What do you mean classes are over, it’s vacation time, okay?”

Shen Yi nodded his head and laughed mockingly, “The next time there is a vacation, stay in the school and be with your little girlfriend, no need for you to come back home.”

The whole family knew about Lu Zhouzhi dating at a young age at school.

The first time he mentioned his girlfriend, Lu Zhouzhi was a little embarrassed, he was not talking as smoothly as usual, he stuttered, “So what if I come home? You’re telling me not to come back so that I can’t see you bully my sister?”

Shen Yi had always felt that Lu Zhouzhi, that kid, had been raised by the Lu father and mother to be a bit ….. silly.

He smiled faintly, “Whatever you want.”

Lu Wanwan was happy to watch them the two of them argue.

When Shen Yi’s eyes shifted to her face, the look in his eyes warmed a little, unlike the cold face he had when he was facing Lu Zhouzhi, he could not be bothered to even smile at him.

He said, “It’s time to go for a checkup.”

During this week where Lu Wanwan stayed in the hospital, she had to do a checkup every day, she could not blame Shen Yi for being too cautious, Lu Wanwan’s condition was really not too good, if an illness could be found out, it would be a little more reassuring, but she  inexplicably would fall into a state of comatose lethargy, and it was hard to find out what was wrong.

The doctors were also at their wits’ end and at a loss about what to do.

Lu Wanwan yawned and leaned on the sofa without moving, “I’m sleepy.”

Shen Yi frowned, his long fingers paused, he smiled and said, “I’m calling the doctor.”

These past few days, Lu Wanwan had been very resistant towards checkups, and was also very resistant towards the doctors approaching her, each time Shen Yi had to half force her, and half compel her, to make her cooperate.

Lu Wanwan covered herself with a blanket, “Okay, I’m going to sleep now.”

Shen Yi let her play her little antics, anyway, she could not escape this round.

Lu Zhouzhi coughed twice and opened his mouth to persuade her, “Sister, you can trample on Shen Yi’s body, but you cannot not take care of your own body, let’s do the checkup obediently, okay?”

Lu Wanwan ignored him.

Lu Zhouzhi shook her hand, “Sister, don’t pretend to sleep ah.”

Lu Wanwan had the urge to slap him to death.

Shen Yi lifted the thin blanket on her body and picked her up from the sofa, curving his lips and smiling, he said, “It’s fine if you like to do the checkup with your eyes closed better.”

Lu Wanwan was too lazy to pay attention to him.
