Apparently you didn't hound me enough because I took ages to upload this chapter, and I feel really bad, sorry!
I know a lot of you are still confused about what Quotev is. Basically, It's a writing website that does quizzes and stuff too. So, if you don't want to go there to read the rest of this story (the grammar is still terrible), would you prefer if I uploaded the rest of them onto here unedited, in all their awful grammar glory? Or do you not mind waiting while I give you a 'decently' written chapter?

"Dad, I don't need to put ice on it, I'm fine," Oliver said when John sat next to him with a frown of concern.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, ice won't fix it, it'll just put me in more pain." Oliver cringed at the thought of putting ice on a broken bone.
"Well, what about something warm?" John suggested. "You know what, I'll go and fill up a hot water bottle, and you can try that." He got up and left without giving his son the chance to object. When the door shut behind him, the dining room fell silent.
Vinny, Madison, and Duke were somewhere in the mansion, talking and discussing the events that happened earlier today. Vinny was absent for over an hour, but Oliver was feeling a bit drowsy and moody from the pills. He was growing frustrated that people felt like they had a right to hurt him. Just because he is human doesn't mean he's out of his depth, living in a vampire's world.
He dropped his head back against the couch and stared at the ceiling. His chest was throbbing, and it felt like he was getting stabbed with every breath.
The silence was unbearable; he hasn't been on his own in this room since Scarlet locked him outside. Shivers ran up his arms. His hairs were standing on edge as he felt entirely alone and maybe a little afraid.
Jed was standing outside the dining-room door, but Oliver didn't know that.
As he looked around the room, he told himself to stop being so ridiculous. Yes, he had been taken from this home and hurt in this home, but those terrible people are gone, and there are plenty of people like Jed, guarding the premises.
Maybe he should tell Vinny about feeling scared, but he didn't want to sound like a loser.
Oliver took a sharp breath. His mouth was dry, and it would do him some good to get out of this room and surround himself with people, but he didn't know if he had the strength to get up from the couch. It sat low, and he had sunk into the cushions.
He took short breaths and pulled himself up, failing the first time, and it hurt tremendously. Oliver gently put a hand on his chest to calm his heart before trying again.
The struggle hurt and the human knew if Vinny were here, he would make some sarcastic comment to make him feel better and probably insist that he carried him to the kitchen.
When Oliver finally made it to his feet, he headed to the door, opened it and gasped with fright at the sight of Jed. He didn't expect anyone to be right outside it.
Jed watched him with a little frown.
"Feeling a bit jumpy?" he asked.
"No, I just didn't know you'd be there," Oliver mumbled and dug his hands into his jumper pockets. He didn't want people to know that these recent events have been affecting him.
Jed gave him a sympathetic smile. Who wouldn't be a little jumpy after being kidnapped and attacked by out of control vampires?
"Where are you going?"
"Just to get a drink."
"Okay, I hope you don't mind if I come. I'm not allowed to leave you on your own."
"That's fine." Oliver turned and started walking down the corridor.
"Oliver?" Jed questioned, making him stop and turn. "The kitchen is this way." He pointed in the opposite direction.
"Honestly, I have no idea where anything is," the human chuckled, following Jed.
"Don't worry; I'll take you."

Vinny rubbed his temples. So far, the Vampire interrogation has helped nobody. They are too loyal, and won't reveal a name.
"When I get my hands on them," Vinny grumbled, his hands were tight fists.
Duke watched him with the same angered expression.
"I can't believe things have become this bad. What is wrong with people?" Madison sighed and rested a hand on her son's tense shoulder.
Maybe vampires were after them because they didn't accept Oliver? Perhaps they were just homophobic?
Vinny clenched his jaw. He was getting angrier that his soulmate was sitting downstairs in pain because someone didn't like him.
"I'm going to see Oliver," he said and stood up. If anyone could calm him down, it was his human.
"Alright, we'll be down soon," Duke smiled as they watched their son leave. When the door shut behind him, they turned to each other. "They don't need this."
Madison agreed, inspecting her husbands tired face.
"Vinny is holding everything on his shoulders. I can tell that he still feels awful about drinking Oliver's blood, he feels bad for Oliver because of his mum, and now Vinny feels bad because Oliver's hurt and he can't make it better," she sighed. "They're only young; they can't deal with all of this stress."
Duke got up and walked around the desk to sit next to her.
"I know, but things will blow over after we catch whoever is behind all of this," he said. "And you're right, the boys have too much on their plate, and I'm keeping an eye on Oliver. He has been through a lot this week."
Madison nodded.
"His life has changed so suddenly. All we have introduced him to is danger and violence."
"Although, he is now gifted with an extraordinary bond, shared with our son," Duke added. "That in itself overrules everything negative. To keep them safe we'll have to keep them housebound. It's for their own good."
"Yes, just until this is all sorted out. I can't imagine that Oliver would want to do much anyway, especially if he's in so much pain, poor thing."

Vinny marched towards the dining-room. He was itching to make that physical contact with Oliver.
The news had spread that the Vanderwood family were in the hospital and people tried to interview Charles at the door. Vinny hated the reporters who were nosy enough to break boundaries, wanting to know everything about their lives.
As he approached the dining-room, Jed was standing outside. It eased the vampire's mind that someone was with Oliver when he wasn't. Although, things shouldn't be like this, not in their own home.
Jed moved aside to let Vinny enter. He could tell the teen was angry because he was ignoring the world and burning holes with his glare.
Vinny spotted Oliver sitting on the couch, staring into space. The human looked like he was deep in thought and he hadn't noticed his soulmate walking over. Vinny rested a warm hand on his shoulder, and Oliver jumped, quickly edging away.
Vinny frowned at his actions.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."
"It's okay," Oliver said, feeling Vinny's chocolate brown eyes calming his soul.
The vampire wanted to ask him about his mum, but he didn't know if bringing it up would make Oliver sad again or if talking about it would help him get through it.
"How're you feeling?"
"Good," Oliver shrugged, but they both knew that wasn't true.
"How're you really feeling?"
Oliver watched him for a long second. He didn't want to spill his problems onto him.
"I'm fine."
Vinny crossed his arms.
"How're you really feeling?" he asked again.
"I told you, I'm okay."
"How are you really feeling?"
"Vinny, seriously stop," Oliver chuckled. He could feel his mood starting to lift.
"How are you real-"
"I'm not great, okay. I'm not." Oliver diverted his eyes, not able to keep his words down. He couldn't lie to Vinny, it hurt.
When he was alone in the dining-room after he got a drink, thoughts about his mum was all he could concentrate on. Now that he allowed himself to think about it, he really felt down.
Vinny's expression didn't change.
"Would you like to talk about it?"
Oliver looked down at his hands. He would like to talk about it, but he didn't want Vinny to be weighted with his sadness
"Not right now," he mumbled.
"Okay," Vinny said, "but later?"
"Fine, later." Oliver watched him smile. He loved it when he did that.
Vinny moved closer and put his arm on the back of the couch, resting it behind Oliver. He knew things were circling through his soulmates mind and it was now his job to cheer him up, through pointless humour and love.
"Where's your hat?" he asked.
"You like that hat don't you?" Oliver smiled, starting to push his problems to the back of his mind.
"I like it on you." Vinny edged a tiny bit closer. He didn't want to lean against Oliver too much, in case it hurt him.
Oliver liked how much they've grown in confidence. Vinny is the king of flirtation.
"You do? I might have to wear it more often then," he said with a growing smile.
"All the time."
"No, not all the time."
"Yes." Vinny rested his elbow on the back of the couch and ran his fingers gently through Oliver's hair, being distracted by John who entered with a hot water bottle.
"That took you ages," Oliver said.
"Yeah I know, I couldn't find my bedroom," John chuckled.
Oliver very delicately held the bottle against his chest. The warmth instantly soothed the pain, but only by a small amount.
"Thank's dad."
"I'm just glad I could help with something." John hated that his son was injured and put in danger. He trusted the Vanderwoods to sort out the situation before it gets worse.
Oliver looked to Vinny when he craved his comfort. He wanted to be affectionate, but it was hard when moving hurt so much.
"Vinny?" he asked, getting his attention, "I can't reach you." He glanced at the vampire's lips, showing him what he wanted. John diverted his eyes to his phone, distracting himself.
A small smile approached Vinny's mouth while moving his arm around Oliver's shoulders. He brought his face close and planted a gentle kiss on his soulmates lips. Their kisses, no matter how passionate, were always incredibly meaningful and filled their chests with lots of love.
Vinny felt Oliver lean his face against his. He didn't want him to pull away just yet, so they continued to kiss.
The close contact and the comfort were enough to help Oliver forget his troubles and concentrate on Vinny's affection.
John was trying incredibly hard to distract himself with his phone. Seeing Oliver like this with someone was still new and exciting, but also unusual. Of course, John was going to be a little protective, but he kept forgetting that Vinny couldn't hurt his son's feelings and they wouldn't break up because it was impossible.
The relationship he sees in front of him is pure and will last a lifetime. Oliver and Vinny will always be together, no matter what.
