The Vanderwood's, Oliver, and John had a very productive day. After they finished paintballing, they got some lunch before sitting next to a big open field.
It was almost four in the evening and the boys were having a snowball fight.
Madison, Duke, and John sat at a picnic table as Jed was casually standing next to the car, making sure everything was okay.
The area was completely empty. There wasn't another soul in sight.
"So yes, I don't know. I just think there's something unusual about him" Duke said. He was talking about Jed.
"In what way?" Madison asked.
"He's just too good at what he does. I know that sounds ridiculous but back in the woods he could hear things that I could only just hear and he's human. That shouldn't be"
John did wonder about that bodyguard. He was a nice person but very mysterious.
"Maybe we should have a chat with him when we get back. Or we should ask for a full background check on him" Madison said.
"That's not a bad idea," Duke said. "We'll do a background check first, then we'll question him"
Everyone agreed to that.
Jed was very good at his job and has poured everything into his work to look after Vinny and now Oliver. But there was something very different about him and they had to find out what.
They then turned their attention to the boys to seek entertainment in whatever they were doing.
"We can make a snow angel!" Oliver yelled as he dived on Vinny's back, knocking him into the deep snow.
Vinny laid on the ground for a second before rolling over and sweeping a lot of it onto Oliver.
"Sorry, I don't think the whole city quite heard that" He Joked as Oliver kicked some back.
Oliver ignored him before lying down and making a snow angel.
Vinny chuckled and deliberately ruined it by walking through its shape.
"Vinny," Oliver said and pushed him away. "Wait I have a challenge" He then got up and stood in front of his soulmate.
"Let me stand on your shoulders, I want to see if I can see the house from here"
Vinny shook his head at his random ideas.
"Fine" He mumbled before crouching down.
Carefully, Oliver put his hands on Vinny's head and a foot on his shoulder.
"Let me take this foot in my hands," Vinny said as he took hold of Oliver's foot so he could balance easier.
Then slowly, he stood up.
Oliver wobbled a few times but managed to balance as he let go of Vinny's head and stood up straight.
gradually, Vinny put Oliver's foot on his other shoulder and took hold of his ankles for extra support.
He could see everyone watching and he stared blankly ahead.
He didn't think he'd ever be doing odd things like this with his soulmate but Oliver is completely weird sometimes, and he loves that.
"I'd hate to be this tall," Oliver said as he nearly lost his balance. "It's quite scary up here"
Vinny shook his head and smiled.
"Are you scared of heights?" He asked whilst concentrating on being still.
"No. well, maybe. I probably am"
This made their parents chuckle as Oliver looked at the city in the distance.
"Well, can you see it?" Vinny asked as he gave his mum and dad a frown.
"I think so," Oliver said as he put a hand to his eyes to block the light, making him see better.
He then began to lose his balance, making Vinny stumble forwards.
Oliver then fell backwards but Vinny caught him and fell over into the snow.
They both laughed and quickly hugged each other.
"That was sketchy," Oliver said as he pulled back and looked at Vinny's snow covered hair.
"You're mad" Vinny mumbled but leant forwards and gave him a long kiss.
Vinny's face was warm when he pressed it in close.
The taste of each other sent sparks through their veins as Oliver stole another kiss.
Their lips moved gently together as a sudden burst of affection exploded in their hearts. It was enough to make them pull back.
"Did you feel that?" Oliver asked.
Vinny nodded as he began to crave Oliver's comfort.
They both moved their heads in closer once more. The sudden need to kiss each other and to feel close was pumping through their blood.
"Boys, are you ready to get going?" Madison then said as she looked up and realised they were being affectionate.
With a bit of a struggle, they pulled away and stood up.
"Where does that keep coming from?" Oliver said quietly before taking his glove off and putting his hand in Vinny's pocket. He couldn't bare to not touch his soulmate's skin.
Vinny intertwined their fingers as his heart thumped in his chest with love.
"I don't know" He replied, just as they reached their parents.
"Are you ready to go home now?" She asked kindly.
"Yes," Vinny said as Oliver bit his bottom lip to stop himself from kissing his soulmate.
They all then turned and headed back to the car.

The journey back home was only fifteen minutes long. But during that time, the boys never disconnected that physical touch. They held hands the whole way home.
Their feelings were strong.
Really strong.
They were too strong to kiss in front of everyone because they wouldn't be able to stop themselves from pulling it deeper.
It just hit them like a tidal wave and they both knew that they would need to fulfil their desires, and soon.
When the car pulled up outside the back doors, everyone climbed out and headed into the mansion. The boys didn't say anything as they walked in front.
When everyone turned to put their winter gear back in the cloakroom, the boys just headed quickly upstairs. They didn't even bother taking off their coats.
"I think it's best not to disturb them for a while" Madison chuckled as they then continued back down the corridor.
They had an idea of what the boys were about to get up to, but they didn't want to think too deeply about it.
"Right, I think it's time to call Pete," Duke said as he handed Charles his coat.
Pete is the head guy for the secret service and Duke knows they can run a background check on anyone in just under fifteen minutes.
He then pulled out his phone and dialled his number.

Vinny and Oliver didn't stop until they got to the bedroom.
Oliver shut the door behind him before taking off his hat and coat. Vinny did the same and let it fall to the ground.
They then stared at each other, knowing what was about to happen. But they were ready.
suddenly, they stepped forwards and crashed their lips together whilst wrapping their arms around each other.

"Right, he said he'd ring me back soon," Duke said as he put his phone back in his pocket.
"Okay. I'm eager to hear what they say" Madison said before linking arms with him.
"Me too"
"How come you didn't take a background check on him when you employed him?" John asked as they walked down the corridor.
"Because he provided us with all the correct qualifications and legal forms that we just didn't think to do that. We were so desperate to get Vinny a bodyguard that we just picked him"
The Vanderwood's now realised that yes, it was foolish of them to be so careless but what does Jed have to hide?
Surely it's nothing serious.

Vinny fell back against the bed as Oliver climbed on top of him. He didn't hesitate to start unbuttoning his waistcoat buttons.
"Wait" Vinny then breathed as he pulled back from their passionate kiss. "Let me shut some of the curtains"
Oliver rolled to the side as he watched his soulmate get up and shut two of the bed curtains.
Now, if anyone simply just walked in, they wouldn't see anything. Also, by leaving one side open, the boys could still see what they were doing.
Vinny then climbed on the bed and went straight back to kissing Oliver.
The kiss was immediately pulled deeper as Vinny ran his hands through his soulmates hair.
Oliver loved it when he did that and it sent pleasure running through his body.
When he was done fiddling with his waistcoat, he pulled it off and started on his shirt buttons.
Vinny slipped his fingers under Oliver's t-shirt and let his hand wander over his soft and warm skin.
Their breathing was becoming heavier and the heat was rising as Oliver kicked off his shoes.
Vinny did the same as he put his legs on either side of Oliver's hips, trapping him to the bed.
He then pulled his t-shirt up and over his head.
Oliver let him pull it off as he disconnected their lips, just for a second before pushing his face back in and pulling Vinny down so he was hovering over him.
As their lips moved together, he finished the last few buttons on Vinny's shirt before blindly pulling it off and dropping it on the floor.
Vinny then leant his body against Oliver and connected their bare chests.
Things were going to go far and the boys knew if there were no distractions, they would take it all the way.
But they wanted to,
They needed to.

As John, Madison and Duke sat in the dining room, Dukes phone started ringing again.
He quickly pulled it out of his pocket, eager to hear what Pete had to say.
"What have you got?" He asked.
Madison and John watched his face as he continued to talk on the phone.
"Okay," Duke said and nodded but then his expression changed. A frown appeared on his face and he looked somewhat shocked. "Right... Well, thanks for that Pete. I'll keep in touch"
He then hung up the phone and placed it on the table in front of him.
He Brought a few fingers to his mouth and rubbed his lips with thought.
"What did they find out?" Madison asked with anticipation.
Duke sat back against the chair.
"I asked him to run a background check on Jed Williams which is the name he provided us with" Duke sighed and crossed his arms. "There was no background to check"
John frowned and sat forwards. "What do you mean?"
Duke swapped his gaze between them both, knowing this was worrying news.
"Jed Williams does not exist."
